  • Pricing Procedure Set Up

    Hello All
I am going for setting up MM pricing procedure for my client. Now first step i am doing is setting of calculation schema , but now my query is which existing calculation schema i should copy. like my client is not having very good idea which condition types he wants, so i have to decide. please guide me in this regard.
    Anjan

    Dear Anjan,
    1. Discuss with the core user (MM) about the price elements that they conside while discussing with vendors like base price, discount, surcharge, frieght
    2. List down all those price elements. Then discuss about the nature of the price element like %, absolute amount
    3. Then if %, on what it should claculate.
    4. Then decide where all you need sub-totals
    5. All this you do on sheet os paper in simple words & steps. Take the Core-user approval.
    6. Then you decide which conditions that you can use from std. SAP and what you need to create.
    7. While creating , copy from the nearest condition type in nature and rename with Z---.
    8. Then fromulate your pricing procedure.
If this resolves youe query, please close the issue

  • De-activate pricing procedure

I have a pricing procedure set up that is not to be used for credit memo's so i need to deactivate this conditon.
    The condtion uses:
    - requirement 2 and
    - Call type 902
I thought I could just set the SY-SUBRC to 4 in the the 902 routine and this would mean this pricing procedure is ignored, but this is not the case.  Can someone please tell me how I go about de-activating the pricing?

    Hi,
You can deactivate the pricing routine by unchecking the Active checkbox in the transaction which you use to create the routine. The transaction is VOFM.
Hope you get the idea that making sy-subrc to 4 will not work.

  • Intercompany STO Pricing Maintenance

    Hi Gurus
    Scenario: Intercompany STO process (P.O -> D.O ->Billing & GR --> IR) - Involved Different Company Codes.
I understood the Material is valuated based on Shipping plant Part price.
    1) Now, how do the material price (seller price) to determine in the Buying side ?
    2) If the selling side price changes, how to maintain in the buying side ?
Appreciated if any one could explain in detail, how the valuation pricings to be maintained on both sides...
    Regards
    RG

    Hello,
You need to Configure  Pricing Procedure as per the requirements. It is determination which will play an important role.
Incase of STO,we select Invoice Type JEX (Whether Using JEX or any other Billing Type) ensure to check the Document Pricing procedure in Billing Type (VOFA) & accordingly carry out configuation for determination of Pricing Procedure in transaction: OVKK.
    Determination of pricing procedure :
In SD, Pricing Procedure is determined based on Sales Area (Sales Organization + Distribution Centre + Division) + Customer Pricing Procedure + Document Pricing Procedure through Transaction  OVKK.
Sales Area is determined in Sales Order Header Level. Customer Pricing Procedure is determined from Customer Master. Document Pricing Procedure is determined from Sales Document Type / Billing Type (if configured).
Once the pricing procedure is determined, Condition records are fetched. If appropriate condition records are found, the price is determined. If Mandatory pricing condition is missing, system will through an error message.
    Configuration of pricing procedure
Condition table (T.Code: V/04): If existing condition table meets the requirement, we need not create a new condition table. Considering the requirement for new condition table, the configuration will be done in spro as follows:
IMG>>Sales & Distribution>>Basic Function>>Pricing Control>>Condition Table (select the required fields combination, which will store condition record).
Access Sequence (T.Code: V/07): If existing access sequence meets the requirement, we need not create a new access sequence. Considering the requirement for new sequence, the configuration will be done in spro as follows:
IMG>>Sales & Distribution>>Basic Function>>Pricing Control>>Access Sequence (Access sequence is made up of Accesses (Tables) & the order of priority in which it is to be accessed. Here we assign the condition table to access sequence.
Condition Type (T.Code: V/06): If existing condition type meets the requirement, we need not create a new condition type. Considering the requirement for new condition type, the configuration will be done in spro as follows:
IMG>>Sales & Distribution>>Basic Function>>Pricing Control>>Condition Type. It is always recommended to copy an existing similar condition type & make the neccessary changes. Here we assign Access sequence to Condition type.
Pricing Procedure (T.Code: V/08): It is recommended to copy a similar pricing procedure & make the neccesary changes in new pricing procedure. Pricing Procedure is a set of condition type & arranged in the sequence in which it has to perform the calculation. Considering the requirement for new Pricing Procedure, the configuration will be done in spro as follows:
    IMG>>Sales & Distribution>>Basic Function>>Pricing Control>>Pricing Procedure>>Maintain Pricing Procedure.
Pricing Procedure (T.Code: VOK0): After maintaining the pricing procedure the next step will be determination of pricing procedure. Configuration for determining pricing procedure in SPRO is as follows:
    IMG>>Sales & Distribution>> Basic Function>>Pricing Control>>Pricing Procedure>>Determine Pricing Procedure.
Condition record (T.Code: VK11 / VK12): Condition record is a master data, which is required to be maintained by Core team / person responsible from the client. During new implementation, the condition records can be uploaded using tools like SCAT, LSMW, etc. Condition Record is maintained in T.Code: VK11 / VK12, which are captured in Sales Order & Billing.
Also check document pricing procedure in Sales Document Type (T.Code: VOV8 - Sales order Type, VOFA: Billing Type (If Required)), customer pricing procedure in Customer Master Data (T.Code: XD02)

    Hi Experts,
We have a requirement from our client to configure a pricing procedure as below for the Intercompany STO process.

    Mark up = 10%
    Transfer Price = $110
    PO pricing
    Dr         Inventory/COS                           $100   (Inventory account)
Dr         COS I/C Mark Up                        $  10   (Markup G/L instead of PPV GL)
Cr         I/C Payable                                 $110   (GRIR Clearing)

  • Intra Company STO pricing Procedure assignment

    Hi
In intracompany STO we need to raise invoice from the supplying plant to receiving plant. So i created STO pricing Procedure with Cost price plus Profit margin and transportation cost .Now where to assign this pricing procedure?Whether to assign this to NL Delivery doc type or in IV billing doc type.
    Regards
    Jyoti

    JYOTI PRAKASH KUNNAR,
    1. The Delivery Type that you use is NL for Intra company STO
    2. PO Document Type you use is UB
you will mainatin Assignemnt of the above
img>material managment>purchasing>purchase order>set up stock transport order--->assign delivery and checking rule
    3. NLN is item category used for Intra STO
    4. STock Transfer pricing procedure is maintained in SD for Billing with Docu PP + Custpp
    5. The Flow of Pricing is taken care by copy controls VTFL choose NL Delivery type and intra company billing type , choose item category NLN where Pricing type = B, Price Source = Purchase order.
BEing INTRA stock scenario we don't use IV billing. Because transaction is happening within company code between two plants.
Check the link it will be useful

  • CIN Pricing for the Intercompany STO

    Hi All,
I am doing a Inter Company stock transfer Process.I have created a Pricing structure for the Inter company stock transfer Pricing.
PO is created  through the MM module nad in PO I can see the Priceses are maintained but when I am creatng Delivery I am not getting any value in the condition TAB.
Can any one explain how the Price from the PO will appear to the SD pricing Procedure.
This Intercompany  Process is CIN dependent.
    Please explain me.
    Regards
    Venkat.

Hey the PO Pricing procedure is not required...its to load cost and all at the receiving plant and there is no need to view pricing at delivery level
    you have to configure like:
    1. SPRO>SD>Basic Function > Pricing >Pricing Control>Define And Assign Pricing Procedures>Assign document pricing procedures to billing types  that is for you IV billing type it must be I
    2. 1. SPRO>SD>Basic Function > Pricing >Pricing Control>Define And Assign Pricing Procedures>Define Pricing Procedure Determination  and here on combination of sales area and Billing doc pricing procedure i.e. I and with customer pricing procedure maintain you Pricing procedure and call all there record and use these conditions
This will help you to solve your problem

  • Setting up new pricing procedure for purchasing .

    Hi Gurus
I have to set up a pricing procedure in which calculation for allowances(discounts) should not happen during goods receipt but during invoice the discount amount should be deducted from the gross price
The PO is created for 100$  and allowances are 10$ so during goods receipt GR/IR account should be credited for 100$ but during invoice vendor should be credited only 90$ and 10$ should be go to a different account as discount .
Any idea please how we can map this in pricing procedure .means how the condition type should be set up in the calculation schema .
    Thanks
    Mahendra .

    Hi,
Then this is not the Normal Discount, it is Cash Discount.
This can be achieved through Payment Terms.
In OME2, for the payment term, Maintain the Cash Discount Percentage Rate and the no. of days for calculation of payment due date.
In M/08, add condition type "SKTO", Mark as "Statistical" and Assign Reqmt. as "17".

  • Condition JEXC not working in Pricing procedure for Non Set Off

    Hi,
While creating PO in case of Dealer procurements i; e we are not buying the materials from the direct manufacturer but from dealer  we need to have BED other than 8%(maintained in J1ID).
I am using the condition type JEXC in the Pricing procedure which is used to overwrite the value of BASIC Excise Duty in   the Tax procedure. For this I have added JEXC in our Pricing procedure with subtotal as "5".
JEXC value in the Condition tab becomes the value of JMO1/JMO2 in the invoice tab.
Now for Set off cased it is working fine. I used to put value in the JEXC in the condition tab other than actual 8% value and it overwrites the value of BED(JMO1/JMO2) .
But for Non set off cases it not working correctly.  It overwrites the value of BED(JMO1/JMO2) correctly but the SECSS % becomes zero. Can anyone suggest me the way I can go for non set off case .

  • Notes or patch for Import/STO pricing Procedure.

    Hi All..
I want to copy Import -JIMPORT and STO pricing procedure.
    I am having RM0000 only.
I am in ECC6 but its not there. Can you pls tell me the patch or notes that i have to apply to get the Import pricing procedures.
    Earliest help will be useful.
    Thanks
    R.Kanann..

    Hi Sai
Your import pricing procedure shall contain the following:
    1) Delivery costs for Custom clearance
      - Custom duty
      - CVD
      - Ecess on CVD
      - SEcess
      - Ecess on customs
      - Addl custom duty
    2) Delivery cost for agent charges
    3) Local freight charges
All the above condition types are delivery costs only.
For every condition type, you will maintain the vendor, so that the respective condition delivery costs can be processed based on the document.
As soon as the material received at port, you will do MIRO for all the duties
By the the material reached banglore, you will do goods receipt.
The local freight can be processed based on the requirement (either before GR or after).
