Interest cal for customer down pmt

hi,
pls tell me how to cal to interest  for customer down pmt for day wise pls tell me how to process  very urgent....
Regards
nasa

Hi Nasa,
Check your config.
In the interest cal indicator what are you using out of the three.
1. Cleared or open items only
2. All clearing transactions or only those with a payment (thereby excluding uncleared credit memos and payments on account).
3. Credit and debit items or only debit items. If interest is to be calculated on credit items (for example, credit memos and payments on account), it is calculated in the same way as for debit items.
Only option 3 would include downpayments as they would be Cr items.
Also you need to tick Cr interest else it will not post interest if the account has only downpayment.
If usefull kindly award points
Thanks
Anand

  • Withholding Tax for Customer Down Payment F-29

    Dear all,
I have configured the withholding tax and it works fine for the AP: invoice, payment, advance payment.
However I encountered problem for AR side: customer down payment (F-29). During the payment there is a "withholding tax" button that once you click a pop-up window will appear to enable you enter the withholding tax data.
My problem is no withholding pop up window appear and no error message as well. Thus I am unable to enter the withholding tax data.
The customer has been assigned with withholding tax type and withholding tax code. I follow the follow documentation for the configuration steps and it works well on AP side.
    http://www.sapficoconsultant.com/Bonus/Extended%20Withholding%20tax%20configuration.pdf
Can you please kindly advise if there is any missing step need to be performed for withholding tax configuration for customer? How to solve the above issue?
thank you very much in advance.
    Dahlia

    Hi Umesh,
Thank you very much for your quick respond.
Yes, I forget to mentioned in my previous email, I have done the following in the customer master:
    1. Assigned withholding tax type and withholding tax code.
    2. Enter the validity date from and to.
    3. Check the withholding tax checkbox in customer master.
However the F-29 still do not have a withholding tax window pop-up.
Any other things that I need to do?
    Thanks a lot.

  • Down payment posting for customer (f-29)

I have post the entries for  customer down payment there was a pop up. ( G/L account define for a/c type D spl G/L indicator.A reconcilation account 3002).Why its came? and what is the solution to post the entries?

    Hi,
please complete the Tx code OBXR config for the DP spl gl indicator and recon a/c mentioned.
The reason why system is asking you to enter another recon a/c is all special gl transactions are posted to another recon account instead of regular recon a/c.So you have to enter an alternate recon a/c for the spl gl indicator mentioed.
Hope thi shelps. Pls assign points as a way of saying thanks,.

  • Clearing Customer down payment for down payment amount not equal to Customer Invoice amount

    Dear All,
Below process are posting Customer transaction directly via FI without SD cycle.
Customer down payment = 102 INR
                Customer Invoice = 103 INR
While doing Customer clearing w.r.t Invoice system has cleared the down payment document but posted an open item in Customer account with clearing document number  of value Rs 102  .
    Concern:-
                   1) How 1 INR difference will be countered , via receipt payment from customer from bank account ?
                   2) In case we have defined tolerance limit of 5% for Customer and this come to be > 1 INR ,does SAP provide clearing Customer items
automatically via any Standard Customer clearing process based on rule defined  ?
    Pls suggest

    Hi,
the information of the exchange rates used for down payments, is
stored in table TCURR ( exchange rates)
For the request down payment the actual exchange rate of table TCURR
or the rate of document header is taken.
When this down payment request is payed, also the exchange rate of
the actual day (TCURR) is taken.
That´s why the amount in the bank posting in local currency result
from translating the foreign currency amount at the current rate,
instead of resulting from the total of the local currency amounts
    from the settled items.

  • F-29 Customer down payment, error, system ask for vendor account

    Hello,
When I enter customer down payment through F-29 I receive message F5243 'Account type K is not defined for document type DZ'.
If I use other document type, I receive the same message. I DO NOT NEED ACCOUNT TYPE 'VENDOR' HERE. (When I choose with F4 I receive search for CUSTOMER, and special GL also for CUSTOMER.)
If I change that (and allow acct type 'K'), system issue message F5104 'Vendor not created in CoCode'.
If, for example I have the same number for vendor and customer (SAME NUMBER, NOT THE SAME COMPANY), system allows me to go further, but takes information for 'Vendor down payment' (made in Customizing).
I would like to point that there is no link in master date between customer and vendor account.
My only clue is that something is wrong with this transaction (there is no SAP note for this exact problem, and all other posts on the same subject here on SDN are not resolved)
Maybe someone has idea about connection of this tcode with logistic...
    PLEASE HELP

    Hi Amina,
For that u check weather u assign vendor special gl account to customer reconcile account in OBXR.
Select special gl type  D in OBXR and give the reconcilation account of customer and special gl account
    Regards

  • Interest calculation on customer

    Hi Experts,
Business requirement is to calculate the interest on different rate for the same customer with line  item wise.Suppose for one item interest would be 10% but other item it would be 12% for the same customer. If I configure interest cal.indicator FY for 10% and FZ for 12% but we have only one field to assign it in the customer master data (FY or FZ).Please assists how can we calculate to different line item with two different rates for the same customer.
    Regards,
    D

    Dear Danish,
unfortunately It is not possible to link the customer to two different interest indicators.
Therefore You have to use a workaround.
If You want to reach Your goal, You should run the transaction FINT for the 10% interest indicator that You inserted into the customer master data.
It is clear that by dynami selection You have to filter the documents You need to calculate at 10%.
Then You should change the interest indicator into Your customer master data from 10% to 12% one and run again the FINT transaction for the other documents.
    No other options are available.
    I hope This can help.

Creating Own Special G/L Transactions: Specify  (OBYR-T.CODE)
    -  The account type for which the special G/L indicator is to apply

  • Dunning Block for Customer Disputed objects

    Dear Colleagues,
I come with what seems to be a simple but interesting requirement from my customer, that I believe can turn out to be an interesting subject for discussion and knowledge exchange.
My customer requires having the possibility of creating several dispute cases, at different times with different partial amounts and different reasons, related to the same invoice. This is possible only through u201Ccustomer disputed amountu201D. With this functionality I can create several disputes linked to the same invoice, with partial amounts and different reasons.
The tricky part comes when the requirement also asks for automatic dunning block for the invoice, for each one of the dispute cases. Here I face with two basic problems:
    1) There is only one dunning block at invoice level. (an invoice cannot have several dunning block reasons at the same time.
    2) The automatic document changes through dispute cases is not for "customer disputed objects". It only creates and updates the dunning blocks on invoices that belong to a traditional dispute case ("Disputed Objects").
Has anyone faced a similar requirement before? any insights or suggestions regarding  this process?
    Thank you very much
    Best Regards,
    Luis Angeli

    Hi Luis,
Customer disputed objects are meant to capture customer disputes prior to the receipt of payment.
They can be used to create many disputes for a single invoice.
However a single invoice can only be disputed once.
Further to this, if different parts of an invoice are disputed, the dunning block should only be removed once all issues against the invoice are resolved.
It could be an idea to create a single dispute against an invoice, and then get different people to resolve the different issues.
You may also want to consider how you are creating your invoices - it could be that you split them down further so there is only a single dispute against an invioce.

  • Interest Calculation on customer balance

    Hi
I need to calculate interest on customer overdues (on net balance after deducting advance received from there).
There are three types of interest calculation:
    1. Balance interest calculation
    2. Item Interest Calculation
    3. Arrears Interest
Please let me know which one i need to select for the same.

    Hi Deepak,
I will provide you some information about this matter:
Please, notice that the program RFINTITAR (tr. FINT) isn't used for balance interest calculation. It is used for customer overdue item interest calculation. Please check the documentation available for this program. I believe that this is the option that you should use.
In case of Special G/L transactions:
Check IMG- Financial Accounting (New)-  Accounts Receivable and Account Payable- Business transactions-
Interest calculation - Prepare special G/L transaction interest calculation.
As described in the documentation of the customizing node, the assigning of new interest indicators according to the special G/L transaction is evaluated by balance interest calculation only.
    Please see the documentation:
"In this step, you define an alternative interest indicator for special G/L transactions. The specifications only apply to the account balance interest calculation."
I hope that this answer your inquiry.
    Best Regards,
    Vanessa Barth.

  • How do I set repeating workday events in my calender? There is no option for custom.

How do I set repeating workday events in my calender? There is no option for custom.

The built in Calendar app has very limited repeat options. You might want to try an app like Week Cal which has a much more robust repeating event selection. As it pulls from the same calendar database as the built in, there's no reentering of information required.

    Hi Abhay
This is answered in forum many times
You need to assign a cost element in OKEP.. If you are using PS module. create a specific GL for the same.. Else, you can assign there any cost element
