Interested in buying iPad. I have a question

I tried searching but didn't really find any answers specifically to what I'm looking for. I'm just wondering if I buy an iPad online or directly from apple, if I were to encounter any issues with it could I exchange or return to an apple store? Or would I have to send it back to apple? Thanks for any help.

If you buy from Apple online, you can take it to an Apple store or call Apple to get assistance. I normally purchase Applecare for all my portable devices, and found it a worthwhile purchase.

Check the outgoing mail server setting. Make sure that your username and password are in there.
Settings>Mail, Contacts, Calendars>Your email account>Account>Outgoing mail server - tap the server name next to SMTP and check in the primary server and make sure your username and password are entered and correct - even if it says that the password is optional.

I plan on buying Final Cut Studio 2 tomorrow, but before I buy it, I have a question. If something were to happen to my MacBook Pro, can I just install it on another computer? It might be a stupid question but I just want to be sure before I drive to the Apple Store.

As long as the computer meets the minimum specification you can install it on any computer.
Physically you can install it on thousands of computers but Apple wouldn't be too pleased !
However, you are legally allowed to have it simultaneously on one laptop and one desktop that are owned by you.
So whenever you want you can take it off one computer and put it on another.

You are not talking to Apple here. This is a user to user forum. Apple does not ship internationally. You can have someone purchase an iPad for you and ship it to you. Other then that, you do not have many options.

Hi y'all. I am looking at buying an iPad but have a couple concerns that I can't find clear answers to.
1. I would like to use it in class. I imagine there is some sort of word processing program on it, of course, but is it Word or another type that would be compatible with the programs on a pc so that I can save documents and print them out in the lab at school?
2. As far as wifi is concerned, will it not connect at hot spots like at coffee houses and hotels and such unless I pay extra for service? I do this all the time with my other laptops and do not have to pay extra, but the wording on the website gives me pause in this matter. Or is the extra charge for if I want to be able to connect wherever without worrying about a free hot spot being nearby?

Check the app store for quite the assortment of word processing apps and see which ones fit your needs.

Wifi is generally free unless the facility says otherwise. In that case, you would be pay the provider directly. I've used my iPad with wifi in hotels, coffee shops, airports without issue.
3G is the data service offered by ATT and you would pay ATT for each month of data service.

If you want to have the photos stored on an external HD, you probably should move them there in your operating system before you import into Lightroom.
But, if you don't yet own an external HD, you can import from the internal hard drive and later move the photos to wherever you want them to be, as long as you do it properly.

I have a question about WiFi and iPad use.
I am dependent upon Internet access as I am disabled and do all of my shopping and billpaying from home.
I recently had my computer PRAM go bad and became aware that I need a back-up method of accessing the Internet should my iMac go on the fritz again.
I have decided to buy an iPad - but I am not knowledgable about WiFi. I have Internet through Road RTunner via cable and an Ethernet connection, but I doubt there is a local WiFi hot spot available that covers my home.
What method should I use to obtain a home WiFi connection that I can use for my iPad should my computer not be available? Would AirPort fulfill this need? (I do not know if my computer has to be running to use AirPOrt).
IN any event, can anyone offer any advice? Thanks!

An AirPort router should fit this need well- and your computer does not need to be running for it to work. However you do need a running computer to set up the AirPort. Depending on the size of your house, you could get either and Airport Express (for a smaller house) or an Airport Extreme (for a larger house). You could also look at a website such as Best Buy's and buy a router from a different company; Apple routers tend to be more expensive than others. The main advantage of buying an Apple router is that they are usually much easier to set up.
In short, what wifi in your house would do is take your home internet connection and broadcast it wirelessly.

No, the camera connection kit only supports the copying of photos and videos to the Photos app, it doesn't support copying content off the iPad. For your second camera instead of the SD reader part of the kit, does the iPad to camera cable not work with it for direct transfer to the iPad ?
For Lightroom and Nikon software again no - you can only install apps that are available in the iTunes app store on your computer and the App Store app on the iPad, 'normal' PC and Mac (OS X) software are not compatible with the iPad (iOS). There are some apps that perform fairly basic editing functions that are available in the store, but nothing as sophisticated as, for example, Lightroom.

I will address your second question.
First, make sure your iPhone and iPad have absolutely identical Apple IDs. If they do, use that Apple ID in Settings > iCloud on your iPhone to select the "Notes" option. Lo and behold, all your iCloud notes should appear on your iPhone.

Well, you managed to find this support forum didn't you and you have an internet connection don't you? Then if you have all these things, go and find the number by going to the Verizon website and it should not be hard to find the number.
As for speaking English, this is not really our problem and it is surely something that you should have thought about before buying the phone in the first place.
You also need to know that Verizon in the US is a cdma operator and if you purchased an iPhone 4s, then it should not be locked. The Verizon 4s comes with a sim card tray that should be unlocked out of the box for use internatinoally on gsm networks, so all you should need to do is open the sim card tray and insert a sim card and you should pick up the local gsm network.
A cdma phone does not actually use a sim card, so there would be no original sim card with the phone because when it is used in the US it will pick up the Verizon cdma network without a sim card. The sim card is only for use on a gsm network which will not work in the US, but is designed to work outside the US. Open the sim card tray and insert your own local sim card and the phone should work and should not be locked.
Other than this, if you purchased the phone in the first place, it is the responsibility of the previous owner to cancel the Verizon contract. This is nothing to do with you, so contact the seller and ask them.
Other wise, go to the Verizon website and look up the number and call them. As they are the phone company, ultimately, they are the only ones who can help you.

there's no way for you to identify which machines have or had cs3 activated, and you can no longer purchase a cs3 license from adobe.
you can request an activation count reset (Contact Customer Care) and deactivate your cs3 on all your computers. you can then install and activate on up to two computers.
