Interface 9201 with ni cdaq9172

Hello Friends,
i am interfacing temp. sensor lm35cz with ni cdaq 9172. i am giving 5vdc to input of temp sensor.when i am measuring output by multimeter it is showing 280mv.it means temp is 28 c .i am giving this output to 9201 voltage card.this sensor has sensitivity of 10mv/c.in labview in daq assistant i am using scale of 100 and sampling rate of 100. but my output is showing large variation betwen 22 to 35 c.please anyone tell me how can i stop this large variation.

Mdas_ar_coments is the name of the second table. I have checked the names, there is no spelling mistake in both the database tables and interface program.

Conditional Interface Determination with Flat Files

Hello,
I have one sender interface (dummy) which could either hold a flat file or an XML file. On receiver side there is one system with two receiver interfaces, one should be used for the XML structure and one for the flat structure.
My requirement is to have a conditional interface determination with an (exclusive) OR logic. Pseudo code:
The XML structure has "submission" as root node. So I use the condition (/submissioin) EX to determine whether it is an XML file and I check with not(/submission) EX to determine whether it is a flat file. However the condition does not work using a flat file ("Unable to find an inbound interface"). Could it be, that the conditional expression never is true in case a flat file arrives? How can I achieve this requirement?
What I additionally do with the flat file is just calling a Java Mapping that sets dynamic attributes for a file receiver, the flatfile itself is dumped on a file system without any addtional conversion logic.

How can I ingnore a message in case a condition applies? I am just aware of the fact that you can ignore messages in case NO condition applies.
Couldn't you simply reverse the logic and use "not equals"? Or perhaps you can use the EX operator to alter your conditions... here is more info on the EX (exists) operator

What is best practice in this case? Should I use a "dummy receiver"? However if I use a dummy receiver I think I would receive a "interface determination not found" error. How would you do that?
I've never found the need to work with dummy receivers so I cannot comment there.

Interface-Mapping with a Fault Message Type

Hi,
we have an abap-proxy and some messages generated errors. The errors can be displayed via sxmb_moni. The proxy raises an "Application Error (Restart possible)".
Now I wanna transform the generated fault message (of the proxy) with a message mapping and send the output to a file.
My problem is, that it is not possible to define an interface mapping with the fault message as well as it is not possible to define a receiver determination.
Any ideas?

As far as I know you can propogate the application error back to the calling application only in case of a Synch Interface? Are you making a Synch call where the proxy triggers a fault message, if yes then all you need to do is to make the change in XI to have the fault message for both the outbound and inbound message interfaces and then a corresponding fault message mapping and select this in the Interface Mapping and then the fault message will be sent to the source / calling application.
In the case of Asynch calls I don't think this is possible until you use a BPM. Have not tried this myself though.

It's part of ODI's internal version control. 'I' means than the object has been inserted and 'U' means that the object has been updated since the last version.

Is a Steinberg C1 audio interface compatible with Garage band? The unit does not show up in the audio devices window even though it is connected to the computer and all software downloads have been completed.

I have tried the driver(s) from Steinberg.net, and tried yet again yesterday. It actually worked for some reason. I have noticed the device ony ‘fires’ when restarting if you have it connected, and after the latest driver install, Garageband actually recognized it. Don’t know why though.

Interfacing Oracle with Microsoft SQL?

Hi,
My workplace uses Microsoft SQL server and I'm trying to encourage our IT department to install 10g express so we can make use of Application Express.
One problem is that the Apex application would need to access data stored in the Microsoft SQL server (there is no chance of converting it to an Oracle database anytime soon).
Are there any popular solutions for interfacing the two databases?
We would be looking at perhaps 100-500 queries on the Microsoft database per day, nothing very demanding.

Thank you for the suggestion, I am open to other ideas. I am not sure what other tools are out there that will meet my needs.
Our IT department has written applications with Visual Studio and Ajax but is unable to maintain or fully debug them. They are not thrilled with the prospect of me writing a program that interfaces direclty with their database but a separate database and the web-based development environment of Apex is a possibility.
We have been planning on not linking the two databases at all but if our IT department were able to handle something such as setting up a script to replicate the data on a daily basis, perhaps we could get the link regardless.
We need to retrieve a part number, given a part name, from the MSSQL database, nothing more. This would only need to be retrieved when new records are being created.
What other tools would you recommend given this scenario?
The database will have about 30 fields, less than 100 queries per day, and up to 5 new records per day. It is not very demanding at all, in my opinion, and I wouldn't have a problem even writing something with php/mysql if that were an option but it is not.

CC software shuts down after 1/3 of a second - launches entire interface, quits with NO error messae

Can anyone help on the specified problem?
I have wasted hours talking to people on the Adobe chat now.
I signed up for Student Creative Cloud yesterday. Started downloading and installing InDesign and Photoshop. Both programs shut down about 1/3 of a second after launching. The software launches with full interface and then shuts WITHOUT any error message.
I also tried to open InDesign projects that I copied from another computer. It will load them perfectly fine, but directly asks to save them and upon doing so it shuts down.
It this a technical issue? Account issue? Please help - deadlines are coming up.

UPDATE: I also downloaded and installed Muse and Premiere.
Muse works, Premiere, Photoshop and InDesign do not.
There were older CS6 trial versions of Premiere, Photoshop and InDesign installed on this computer. I deleted everything before I installed my subscription software.
Could that be related to something?

ASA 5505 Logging Issue - Warning: Configured logging host interface conflicts with route table entry

I am getting this warning on my ASA 5505 when I try to set up logging from my off site FW to the central FW, which is a 5510. What I am trying to do is send the FW logs through the VPN Tunnel into the central 5510 to our logging server at 192.168.22.99, but allow all other traffic out the outside interface so customers can hit our web servers down there. Here is an example of my config with fake IP's. I get this error when trying to do "logging inside host 192.168.22.99". I am mistaken on the 5510 interfaces. They do not have vlans, and the IP address is directly applied to the interfaces for outside and inside.

Can I use a MY Book Pro external 500 gig Triple interface HD with FCE?

I just recently bought a Macbook pro and purchased FCE HD 3.5. I want to purchase a high capacity external HD. I want it mainly for my projects with FCE and other members of the family will be backing up to it. I want to keep my projects on the external and work on them from there not my main HD.
After doing some online research I was about to purchase the LaCie Big Disk Extreme. However there seemed to be a lot of bad reviews about early disk failures. The G Technology drives sound great but are a little pricey.
I came across the MY Book Pro addition 500 gig Triple interface HD from Western Digital and found that the 500 gig pro had similar spec to the LaCie but they never mention in the specs that it can be used for video editing. They only mention "Fast enough for video editing" in the 1TB raid 0 version. I'm just wondering if anyone is having success using the My Book Pro Edition. I checked the forums first and even check specs from apple on external drives and FCE but I was hope for some real use advise. I'm not trying to cheap out, I'm just trying not to buy a lemon & get the most storage and speed for my buck. I'll buy they higher end if I should. My video productions right now are 10 minute long movies with some video clips and stills but I'm hoping to advance to bigger (High Def) things. Any advise in this matter would be greatly appreciated.

The 500GB MyBook Pro should work fine. Just be sure to use a Firewire connection (not USB) to your Mac and format the drive as Mac OS Extended - Journaled. It will come from the factory as FAT32, so you'll need to reformat it. But wait - don't reformat it until you offload the ButtonManager, FW Driver and Retrospect software. You will need the first two to install your drive.
And that's one of the reasons I stay away from the MyBook drives - they were really designed for Windows systems, not Macs. For one, they have their own FireWire drivers and I see no reason to be required to install device-specific drivers on my Mac in order to use a consumer-grade hard drive. As far as I'm concerned, that's just bad design (or, perhaps design for systems other than Macs ...).
The 500GB Lacie Big Disk did get a bunch of bad reviews. However, the 500GB Lacie d2 Extreme is the same price and has much better reviews. The Lacie d2 Extreme drives are quite reliable; I have many and not one of them has failed me over the years. The 320GB d2 Extreme is currently $140 at newegg.com. See how that compares to the price of the MyBook.

Audio/midi interface compatibility with Logic Express Mac osx 10.6.5

hi all, I'm looking for a compatible audio/midi interface to use with the latest mac os. I recently purchased a Ediroll UA25 but was unable to get it working . I installed the latest drivers from the Roland site but when plugged in it just wasn't being recognised. I sent it back and got a full refund but now I am insure if the Ediroll was faulty or if it wasn't compatible with os 10.6.5. I am now in the process of looking to purchase another interface but am looking for help from you guys.

just out of curiousity: did you use the UA-25 or the UA-25EX? I know the 25EX has a driver switch on it's back where you can enable a standard driver which should be compatible to OS X without an additional driver.
However, i didn't find another interface including a compressor except for the Yamaha Audiogram 6, if you need this feature.
If you don't need it, buy a MOTU, preferably with firewire, or a Presonus. If you want quality, maybe an Apogee Duet. I myself - due to shortage of funds - still use either my Tascam Fireone or my Alesis I/O 2. The Alesis sounds nice for it's price, but i won't buy any of these lower end interfaces anymore. You get what you pay for. I also used the Edirol UA-25EX for a time, but this was before snow leopard, so i can't really say "Yes or No", but it was definitely a very good interface compared to it's price. I won't recommend M-Audio, however, but others like it.

The version of Acrobat that comes bundled with Adobe CS3 has multiple errors, such as not interfacing properly with pre-2007 versions of MS Word.

The version of Acrobat that comes with Creative Suite 3 has multiple glitches, especially with regard to the interface between Acrobat and Microsoft Word. Making PDF files from Word .Doc Files--the main reason I bought this product (OK, it was also on sale), so it was kind of disappointing to find out that I can't do that. The basic hit-or-miss with Word/Acrobat inter-functionality is most glaring in the PDFMaker addon in Microsoft Word 2003, in which Adobe prevents Word from saving the Normal Template for as long as it is installed. You can uninstall PDFMaker, but then you can no longer make PDF files from .DOC files, period. In practical terms, this means that all of my style changes and keyboard shortcuts get wiped unless I uninstall Acrobat to update Normal.dot, then reinstall it to make PDFs and just not save shortcuts or change styles in the meantime.
Adobe Creative Suite 3 has a ton of gratuitous interface bells and whistles, stuff that's amazing but haven't had a use for professionally (i.e., Flash, since I mainly do composition work), stock photos that were discontinued as a feature right after I started browsing them online... the list goes on. Apparently the only way to report it is this impersonal channel or to pay 40 buck to get treated like a value customer. Sorry, I'm not one of those people who has Platinum Citizenship and can just buy the new version every year and blow eighty bucks when I can't find an answer in the Help menu. I've tried multiple Adobe downloads that were supposed "fixes" for this, and nothing has worked. Third-party online indicate that the Word software was actually pretty solid that year; it's Acrobat that's corrupting the code. I love Photoshop (not that I have the first clue how to really use it), but I am very disappointed with Creative Suite 3 overall. Does anyone know if there is an OpenOffice type product on the freeware circuit that would copy the function of Acrobat and work with a ten year-old version of Word, without the not-working part?

And what is the point of all this? CS3 is now 7 years old and Office 2003 just the same. Yes, sometimes software has bugs and compatibility issues. Beyond there is nothing here to discuss on either end, given the circumstances...
