Interface for function *** is incorrect

Hi!
I want to test the inbound function module in we19, but it says:
"Interface for function EXIT_SAPLVEDF_002 is incorrect"
the same with other FM:
"Interface for function IDOC_OUTPUT_INVOIC is incorrect"
Will reward,
Mindaugas

Hi Mindaugas,
EXIT_SAPLVEDF_002 is not an IDOC inbound interface function
IDOC_OUTPUT_INVOIC is for outbound
The function must be configured for the message type, check transaction WE57 to find out which function module is the right one.
Try F4 on FM in WE19, this will give you the FMs configured for your IDOC.

Clemens

  • Interface for function module is incorrect in ALE inbound processing

I have created a custom function module and i assign this FM
to the custom process code for ALE INBOUND process and  i already assigned this Fm to message type and basictype in Tcode we57.i have assigned this process code to the msgtype in WE20 also.
But while trying to execute the inbound function module through WE19, I get an error message: "interface for the function module is incorrect". What could be wrong?

    Hi
if you ibserve clearly all the FM's will be having same parameters. Your function module also should contain same interface. Ensure that your FM does contain the same.

  • Transport of ALE Interfaces for Function Module

    hi,
i have a Z function module, Z business object type and z message type identifying ALE interface.
i need to move all the objects from Dev R3 to QA R3. What are the steps involved?
    Thanks,
    Tirumal

    Hi
While creating a Z function module it will ask you for a change request number. attach it to change request and migrate it to Production.
In case your function group to which you assigned this function module is open then the CTS number will by default come in CTS number field if any exists for the function group. You can now migrate your CTS to production.
Now after assinging function module to a CTS you can be sure that your program for function module and FM both will be migrated. For confirmation you can now check attribuutes section in your function module. it will list the SAP program associated with Func mod , function group to which function module is assigned , package and include programs which needs to be migrated. So you only need to attach a CTS and migrate your CTS.
You can create a Change erquest (CTS) in SE01 or SE10 transactions.
    Regards,
    Amit.

  • Interface For Inbound FM is incorrect

    Hi Guys,
    Am facing very stupid problem.
I have written an inbound fm. There are 2 things in the FM :
    Firstly,
when I declare the table parameters, its doesnt allow me to write those table parameter saying that table parameters are obsolete and decription says that I should declare the tables parameter (edidc,dd,ds) in the changing parameters not in tables.
    secondly,
Now if i declare the tables in changing parameters rather than in tables parameter (as stated above), these tables are not passed in the fm module.
when i debugged the standard sap in we19, it shows that the tables parameter is not passed (as obvious as there is no table but changing parameter).
Because in standard sap (Main program : SAPMSED7 / MSED7F05) the subroutine
    (PERFORM interface_new_check
                             TABLES
                                 l_t_exception_list
                                 l_t_export_parameter
                                 l_t_import_parameter
                                 l_t_tables_parameter
                             USING
                                 l_ok.)
is asking for tables parameters.but now in this case it find the tables as empty and thus it gives an error that 'interface for FM is not correct'.
    Kindly Help
    Regards
    Sanjeev

This message is only a warning and you can create such FM.
Refer to note 'Note 947794 - Message FL 069: TABLES parameters are obsolete'

  • QM-IDI : User QMIDI has no RFC authorization for function group QIRF

    Hi,
I am in the process of trying to connect from Labware LIMS to SAP ECC 6, specifically the quality module. The aim is to use Labware to connect to SAP via the QM-IDI interface to
    1) Download inspection lots from SAP
    2) Upload usage decisions and inspection lot results to SAP.
Initially I specified an account on SAP of the type 'Communications Data', however any time I tried to connect to SAP from LIMS via the interface with this account it gives an <i>'Incorrect Username/Password'</i> error in the trace logs. I then changed the account to a dialog user, which seems to be partially more successful, however the trace logs captures the following error 'User QMIDI has no RFC authorization for function group QIRF' when I try to connect from LIMS to SAP via the QM-IDI interface after changing the user to type dialog.
I would appreciate any guidance on how to resolve this issue.
    Regards.

  • How to log input parameters for Function Modules?

    Hi,
I need to create a Logging system to trace input parameters for function modules.
The log functionality could be done by developing a class method or a function module (For example 'write_log'), and calling it within each function module that I want to log. The 'write_log' code should be independent from the interface of the Function Module that I want to log.
For example, I'd like to write a function/class method that can log both these functions modules:
    Function DummyA
       Input parameters: A1 type char10, A2 type char10.
    Function DummyB
       Input parameters: B1 type char20, B2 type char20, B3 type char20, B4 type Z_MYSTRUCTURE
    Now the questions...
    - Is there a "standard SAP" function that provide this functionality?
    - If not, is there a system variable in which I can access runtime all parameters name, type and value for a particular function module?
    - If not, how can I loop at Input parameters in a way that is independent from the function module interface?
Thank you in advance for helping!

check this sample code. here i am capturing only parameters (import) values. you can extend this to capture tables, changin, etc.

  • Adaptation of LIFA (LabVIEW Interface For Arduino) to other Arduino compatible boards

    Hello evryone,
I am trying to use a ''Sakura board", which is an Arduino compatible board, having similar programming as Arduino. This board is manufactured by Renesas; more specifications on it can be found on the following link: http://sakuraboard.net/gr-sakura_en.html
What I would like to know, is if the firmware used for LIFA to interface Arduino with labview, or the ChipKit firmaware, can be used to this kind of Arduino compatible boards.
My aim, is to use the Sakura Board for acquiring signals from various pins(Be it digital or analog), and setting other pins (Digital) parralelly, using labVIEW, as this is done using LIFA, or LabVIEW interface for ChiKit!!
Thanks in advance for your support.

I haven't had any experience with the Sakura board, so can only go on the information on the website.
I've used the Arduino LabVIEW interface previously, and it basically uses serial communications between the PC and the Arduino. This serial interface is provided by the on-board USB-serial converter (an ATMega8u2 running custom firmware).
From what I can tell about the Sakura, it appears as a storage device when plugging into a PC, and doesn't seem to have a USB to serial converter. If this is the case, then the LIFA toolkit won't work. That said, my understanding of the Sakura board may be incorrect (for example I'm unsure what operation modes the slide switch changes between). If you can confirm it has a USB-serial port then LIFA may work. I guess the key thing is that the serial port is required.
You may be able to use a software serial port (http://arduino.cc/en/Reference/SoftwareSerial) on the Sakura to communicate with a PC, though that would require a PC with a serial port, or an external USB-serial converter. This approach would also require you to modify the LIFA arduino code (located in vi.lib\LabVIEW Interface for Arduino\Firmware\LIFA_Base) to reference the software serial port. It's probably a long shot that this will work, as the software serial library has been written for AVR chips, making use of their specific internal timers.

  • How to prevent JaxB creation of 2 Interfaces for each Element?

    hi,
does any body know how to prevent JaxB creation of 2 Interfaces for each Element (The Content Interface and the element interface)?
I want to configure JaxB to use only one Interface and only one implementation Class.
    Thank's,

I am sorry I can not answer your question, I have got the same problem. Could you please email me to
[email protected] when you know the answer, please.
I have a question for you. When and complex type is validated, I get the object which contains the error. ( or objects ).
However. How do know the position in the actual parent object. basically. Is there a way to know exactly the position of that attribute in that object. I need to store errors strings.
The first problem derives from this one:
It is not possible to execute validate function for a primitive attribute inside an structure.
    I would appreciate your help.
    Thanks.

  • Standard interfaces for vendor invoice and salary posting

    Hi all,
Our customer is asking for a standard interface for vendor invoices (not purchase invoices, only for invoices entered in FB60), if they could have a CSV file from vendor and import that to SAP. Is there a standard functionality or do we have to build an own interface?
They also ask if there is a standard interface for salary file so they can tell the company that create the salary file that they should use a standard format or do we need o to create an interface there to?
    Thanks in advance!
    BR L

    Hi,
You can either go with INVOICE01 or INVOICE02, As per the requirement you can check with the Function module attach with the idoc type, and whether it is providing the appropriate functionallity or not.

    Hi! Rams,
I think the issue is related to Authentification Issue..Even though u did correctly please check once the below
    1) Check any Typo Erros are there while configuring or giving names in Lookups.
    2) please check Authorizations like ID and PWD and Sufficient Roles
    3) Also please check did u given paramters correctly while doing RFC look up I mean paramers , Binding parameters and RFC channel name and adapter type or Simple type it must be an  adapter
    4) In ID part while configuring Interface determinaition you need to give your RFC look Up name there also..Hence check whether u given or not if yes correctly or not
    5) Also remember one thing if your scenario is correct mostly you can know the result in mapping itself it seems while testing Message mapping and Interface mappings give your RFC look up paramters in the parameters tab present in TEST tab and later in Document tab give Input...and execute it works if it doesn;t works and if there is an issue with RFC you can get there only..ok
Also go through the below document::
I hope this will give u brief idea...
Also check with basis while taking SAP_ALL authorization so that first u ill came to know whether issue is related to authentification or RFC module itself remote enabled and also do SXI_CACHE also ocne to refresh ESR and ID objects..

  • PDF Form interfaces for invoice

    Hi experts,
I`m implementing company forms (e.g. invoices) in PDF Forms. But I have found, that there are 2 form interfaces predefined for invoices
    IS_U_BILL_IF
    and
    IS_U_BILL_PDF2_IF
Why there are 2 interfaces for invoice? I cannot find any references of use cases, when to use first or second one.
    Thank you
    Vlado

As noted there has to be a special folder level script installed on each user's system. This script can be written to access individual properties of the identity object or only a specific property. One can also create a function to access the identity object or even create new properties.

  • URGENT - XI to SRM : Interface for 'Request For Quotation'

    Hello Guyz!...
I am trying to develop an interface in XI to post 'Request For Quotation' into SRM system. Can anybody help me on this.. Any kind of help is greatly appreciated. Thanks in Advance.

    Hi Praveen,
No need to create a new inbound interface for posting the RFQ in SRM. You can use the SAP predefined inbound interface "RequestForQuotationResponse_CreateOrChange_In" present in the name space "http://sap.com/xi/EBP". Also it will have a corresponding proxy in SRM side which will call a stard function module.
All you need to do here is create DT, MT, MI required for source and do the mapping.
    Regards,
    Jai Shankar.

  • User Interfaces for Lists

    hi,
How to create user interfaces for lists
    thanks.

    HI,
The R/3 system automatically, generates a graphical user interface (GUI) for your lists that offers the basic functions for list processing, such as saving or printing the list. If you want to include additional functionality, such as pushbuttons, you must define your own interface status. To create a new status, the Development Workbench offers the Menu Painter. With the Menu Painter, you can create menus and application toolbars. And you can assign Function Keys to certain functions. At the beginning of the statement block of AT END-OF-SELECTION, active the status of the basic list using the statement: SET PF-STATUS ‘STATUS’.
    Cheers,
    Chandra Sekhar.
