Interface is it different in other Opertating systems e.g. MAC

have 2 queries about Itunes. I am running the latest version of Itunes Version 8.0.1.11 running in Windows Vista;
First of all whilst searching on the internet i found different images of a different Itunes interface example shown below;
Example 1, Shows a browser button near search tab in the top right hand corner this is not shown in my version of Itunes. Also shows three traffic light dots top left hand side, Why is this not shown on my Itunes? My Itunes is latest version 8.0.1.11.
Example 2, Shows what my version looks, as you can see there is no browser button on the top right hand side near the search tab, Why is this is it because Example 1 shows a Mac setup "I don't know" What does Itunes look like on a MAC Operating System? How can i get the button in the right hand corner in my Itunes? Also the Traffic lights in the left hand corner? the interface looks a lot more fresher than mine. Is there a plug in i need to get?
My Second query is i am trying to Stream additional Radio Stations into my Itunes such as Magic 105.4FM London, BBC Radio 1, I can download pod casts for these stations but am unable to listen to the live broadcasts, even when i try to stream them off the internet into Itunes using the URL address (Uniform Resource Locator) they will not play is this something to do with the law as i can stream them off the internet into other media players and they play fine.

I haven't confirmed with BBC, but 105.4 is streaming in WMV format which iTunes cannot play. You'll need to use Windows Media Player, at least for that station.

Moving sys.aud$ to a different tablespace other than system

I have a 10g RAC database system with a high volume of activity and would like to monitor a large slice of it using audit.
I have reviewed all options of audit trails and chose db, extended to be the most suitable for my purposes!
Ive noticed that all audit data goes to sys.aud$ table in system tablespace.
I have 3 questions:
1. What is the logic behind putting this table in systems tablespace and not sysaux (10g)?
2. Can I move sys.aud$ table to a different tablespace (should I expect trouble for doing so)?
3. Is there any RAC implication if I move sys.aud$ table to a different tablespace?

That's true, it's not recommanded to move a sys table... but we can find some good explanation for this one for aud$ table. 
See Metalink Note 72460.1 : Moving AUD$ to another tablespace and adding triggers to AUD$ 
Or google search give some good results.

FF 5 bookmarks pulldown menu is broken -- cannot go from individual bookmark folders back to main bookmark list -- sticks on the folders and won't move to other bookmarks -- system is Intel Mac on OS 10.5.8.

When you go to the bookmarks pulldown menu at the top of the screen, the menu window that opens is much wider than previous browser versions. often stretching the full width of the browser window itself.
In addition, once the cursor opens a bookmarks folder in a contextual side menu, you cannot go back to the main pulldown menu. It sticks there. You have to move the cursor up though the TOP of the contextual menu to free it to close the menu window. Simply moving the cursor back to the original menu does nothing -- the contextual menu sticks open as the active one.
It will often take several attempts to land the cursor on the bookmarks folder you want to open before the cursor will hit it without opening other nearby folders, getting stuck in the process. I can't just move the cursor to what I'd like to open. (Cursor is functioning normally in all other apps and windows.)
All other menus are fine. This occurs only with the bookmarks menu.
Machine is an Imac dual core 2.25 running Leopard 10.5.8. Firefox is version 5.0.
This behavior is repeatable on both a fresh download of FF5 and on the upgraded 4.0 to 5. Does not matter if launched in full mode or safe mode with no plugins -- same menu bug.
All plugins are updated, including Download Helper, Flash, Shockwave, Silverlight and a few others. They all pass the plugin tests.
This menu bug happens every time the FF browser is opened. No exceptions.
Would sure love to have version 4 back until this bug is fixed, but I can no longer locate it on the Firefox website. As it currently sits, the browser is virtually unusable. :-(

Small correction to original post. Machine is an iMac 2.4ghz Intel Core 2 Duo. (I was at home when I made the first post.) But the bookmarks menu behavior still exists today and FF 5 is essentially unusable.
System details next to the post are not for machine with the bug in question.
Found a copy of FF4 to use until a solution is found. Turned off automatic updates to preserve this version.

How to find the list of different material in other SAP system.

We have two SAP different systems. there is an integration between two systems.
One system has 2 millions materails (parts) and other system has 6 millions materails (parts).
I need to know the list of what are those 4 miilions of materials in the other sap system .
How can I find out the list of the 4 millions additional material list ?

In MIRO system showing different vendor other thar PO

Hi
During Invoice booking in MIRO, system is showing different vendor other than the vendor in Purchase order.
As a result different vendor other than PO vendor is getting credited.
We have checked below settings.
u2022 Partner roles in vendor master record is not changed
u2022 Partner Roles in PO is not changed
u2022 Invoicing Party field in details tab in MIRO is greyed out hence user can not change it
PO has not been changed as per change history.
Please guide me as what can be the possible reason for this.

Please consider this scenario,
1. Suppose you have two PO ( A & B) with different vendors and you want to do the invoice for the PO A for Vendor X (say).
2. So you have entered the PO number B and then realised that the wrong PO number has been specified.
3. So without coming out of the transaction or without executing new transaction, you entered the PO number A.
4. So the item details will be taken from the PO A but in this case the vendor details will be of PO B becoz the header details will not change until you will not come out of the screen or transaction.
This is the reason for getting the wrong vendor against the PO.
Solution for this issue:-
1. Cancel the invoice and redo the invoice for the PO.
2. Pass the JV from one vendor to another vendor.

Creating .app folders in other operating systems?

I'm working on a cross-platform game and am hoping to create an OS X port of it. I don't have access to a mac, and so am unable to use the xcode tool for creating .app folders. Are there any tools for creating .app folders on other operating systems? I'd prefer Linux, but can also use windows if required.

Well, .app bundles are specific to Cocoa and Carbon applications... The closest way to make such applications is to use GNUStep (which is an open Cocoa) but it means to rebuild the whole app to make it work with Cocoa/GNUStep...
However, application that are compatible with Mac OS X are not necessarily in .app bundles. Bundles are used for a specific purpose which gather files that the app should have really close, like its interface files (nib) that is used only with Cocoa or Carbon. If your app is neither Carbon nor Cocoa, there's no use in creating a .app bundle it doesn't even exist. And moreover, Xcode (or Project Builder on GNUStep) is the only app that creates .app bundles.

I've gotten defensive after reading the forums. The forums are full of posters just looking to prove someone wrong or stupid, rather than being helpful. I shouldn't have assumed you were one of those people. Sorry.
I did my homework and discovered that my PowerPC will run Leopard. It can be purchased for $129 by calling 1-800-MY-APPLE. This is much cheaper than replacing my laptop.
I hope to upgrade my Mac soon, though! Can't believe this thing is still ticking. I love Apple.

Create multiple files in different directories for receiver system

Hi,
My scenario is File-XI-File. Based on a value of a field(1...Unbounded) & its occurance in source file XI needs to create same file number of times(based on occurance of field in source file) in different directories on receiver system(Single Business System).
What different ways/solutions are available to achieve this?

The webdynpro/ABAP (WDA) calling RFC enabled FM of other ECC systems

The webdynpro/ABAP (WDA) has problem calling RFC enabled FM of other ECC systems.
WDA expects all the ABAPs, RFC FMs of remote system(DEV, QA..) to reside inside its own instance.
It is hard to transport and maintain these ABAPs FMs into a portal ABAP WDA instance.
Proxy generation at WDA client:

I think the XI proxy classes can be generated at the client WDA system.

I am stuck with the above as the webservice option is not available at our ECC server. It does not have a java engine installed for webservice to be available.

This is solution I have used
1) First of all I have made ABAP connection in SM59 .
Go to SM59 .In ABAP Connection creat ABAP connection with system with which u want communicate .
Eg I am connection with Systems PB1.
So i developed Connection call PB1CLNT800.
2) In my requirement I have taken data in my context from another r/3,
I have give called RFC in my supply function of node.
Call to RFC is as usual.
In my case,
CALL FUNCTION 'RFC_MATNR'
DESTINATION 'PB1CLNT800'
TABLES
IT_MATNR = IT_MATNR.
Onwards I have read my itab IT_MATNR and populated data to context.
Hope solution will serve your purpose.
Give point if it works .If any problem i have other ways.

How to Call Same Adaptive RFC across different Backend R/3 Systems

I have been troubled for the last 3 or 4 days on how I should develop Web DynPro code to call the same RFC on different backend R/3 systems. Don't really want to maintain my own Jco connects within a SAP Connector project and I don't really want to import 3 or 4 of the same models. Can someone please inform what is the best approach?

Hi Glen,
There is one other way of doing this which needs a bit of data maintenance.
The webdynpro app will connect to one R/3 backend. In the same R/3 create RFC destinations to all others backends where the RFC's needs to be called. Create a table where u maintain for what value which backend system should be called. Add rfc_dest as an import paramter in all the RFCs in the backend system where the webdynpro app is connected and call those systems using RFC destinations.
For e.g. you have one HR system and multiple FI systems based on Company codes.
Connect your webdynpro app to the HR system. Create a table in the HR system which will contain data like given below
CoCode                        RFC Destination
1000                             RFCDEST1
2000                             RFCDEST1
In the RFC's in HR system add both CoCode and RFC Destination as additional input parameters. From the front end u can pass different values and call the same RFC's from different systems.

Interface getting failed after changing the Business system to that service

Hello All,
Our Env... is XI 3.0 and this is related to produciton env.
Based on our client requirment to change the business system from client 871 to 100 for one of the R3 system which is reciever type(rfc).
After doing all the necessary changes , that particular service is getting failed and in the CC monitoring for that service I can see the log as "RFC_ERROR_LOGIN_FAILURE" mandate 871 (earlier client) does not exist in the system.
The steps which I have followed to change the Business system.
1>I loged into the SLD of PRD system and clicked on businsess landscape .then i have clicked on the specified system to be changed (RY1 ) and then clicked on change mode and selected the required client (100) and saved the settings.
2>I have logged into ID(Integration Directory) and selected the service (RY1) which need to be changed .Under service -->Adaper specific -->compare sld configurations and then clicked on apply changes.
3>Now selected that communication channel of service (RY1) RFCRecieverR3 and changed the client 871 to 100 and the password of user XIRFCUSER ...
Then i saved the changes and after that i have activated that interface.
After that when i logged into CC monitoring and viewed that service channels and see the following errors:
Receiver channel 'RFCReceiverR3' for party '', service 'RY1'
Error can not instantiate RfcPool caused by:
com.sap.aii.af.rfc.RfcAdapterException: error initializing RfcClientPool:com.sap.aii.af.rfc.core.repository.RfcRepositoryException: can not connect to destination system due to: com.sap.mw.jco.JCO$Exception: (103) RFC_ERROR_LOGON_FAILURE: Mandante 871 não existente no sistema (selecionar mandante existente)
Can any one help me out of this situation , and i need to fix this ASAP as this is production system.

Let me say few points about this particular problem:
1>The interface "XX" from XI sends data to two systems( R3 -->RP1 & RY1), some thing like branched (same data is passed to both the reciever systems).
And the second RY1 is copy of First system RP1 (Production sys) which is used for data loading purpose and every week there will be a refresh from First sys (RP1) to Second(RY1).
2>Now the first sys(RP1) is recieving the data successfully from XI , and the second one (RY1) is getting failed .And this started after changing the Business system 871 to 100 .
3>As mentioned by you , I have checked all the points mentioned
    i)In SM59 for XI (ABAP part) two rfc's are maintained (LCRSAPRFC & SAPSLDAPI) and the test connection is also fine...But I did not find these two connections in reciever systems(RP1 & RY1 too).
   ii)In reciever system RY1 ,when i went to RZ70 , i did not noticed any special settings and SLD Bridge :Gateway Information is not maitained over there .and the same thing in other reciever system(RP1) , with this can we confirm that there is nothing wrong in RZ70 settings.
   iii)In SLDAPICUST at recievers end for both systems nothing is mantained , where as in XI system all the details are maintained(Host name,port, user & password).
I have translated the error log into english from the CC monitoring for this interface which is in portuguese language .
It says that:
RFC_ERROR_LOGON_FAILURE: 871 Mandante not in the system (select principal existing)
Kindly advise me what to do ..for fixing this problem(this is pretty urgent and it is production env...)..

call the function module in orginal system in se38 ,copy the function module ,paste the function module in other system,and maintain destination here ,otherwise you will get short dump.
here detination should be SM59 destination,this is case sensitive.

Agreed, samples fall under a different category than production systems.
But, sometimes I wonder if it justified for samples to be (much) different from a production system.
First, there is not always such an explicit disclaimer on samples, to point out where significant differences are with a production system.
Sure, that is where your own skills and experience come into play, but not everyone always recognizes all aspects that should be different for a production system.
Second, why is it too much to bother to use an approach in a sample that can be in a production system?
Could this be related to the complexity of the context (tools/framework/product) the sample is being created in? If so, maybe that context should improve.
Sometimes, the simplicity of a solution a sample is intended to demonstrate, is lost when it is implemented in a production system.
Maybe it is good practice when writing a sample, to ask the question : What should be different for a production system?
Although, I currently don't have any good examples of such a "sample gap ", maybe I will update this forum thread if I bump into one.
Any comments or examples are welcome.

Same SKU with different names in 2 systems

Hello All,
I am wokring on a SNP scenario. We have a finished sku A and its sub component sku C.
A (FERT) ---> C (RM)
We have forecast on sku A and want to find dependent demand in sku C thru SNP
Forecast A -
> Find Dependent Demand C
sku A maintained in ERP1 R/3 system as FERT
sku C maintained in ERP 1 R/3 system with different name sku B as Raw material
sku C maintained in ERP2 R/3 system as FERT
Now product A is maintained in one R/3 system and product C is in another R/3 system. Both these R/3 systems are connected to APO and both these materials are also in APO now.
After heuristic planning in SNP, we want to pass the dependent demand to ERP2 system as Sales Order.
My concern is if sku C has different name in 2 systems, how should I pass the demand to other system?
Please advice.

Maybe you can create SKU D in APO (and R3) which is lined through PPMs or PDS to SKU B from ERP1 and SKU C from ERP2 and aggregate the dependent demand generated during Heuristics to SKU D
then you can only transfer only SKU D to ERP2? Am not sure how important it is for you to hav the link between SKU D and SKU c in ERP2
Alternately
Dont transfer SKU C from ERP2 to APO. Only create Dependent demand for SKU C from ERP1 and transfer it to ERP2. You can run MRP again in ERP1 for the aggregated requirement (unless you want some APO specific functionality, the result must be close to what you will get in APO)
