Interface or Class based on the Factory
Hi,
I want to write a Factory pattern to decide whether the passed parameter is an interface or class ?
If an interface is passed then validate whether it is an interface using reflection and do the respective operation similarly for the class as well.
Please provide your opinion on this.
Thanks.
Thanks.
In the main class I am calling the below :-
mockInterface("com.test.InterfaceTest");
protected <T> T mockInterface(String className){
<T> T interfaceObject = null;
try {
Class clazz = Class.forName(className);
if (clazz.isInterface()) {
interfaceObject = EasyMock.createMock(className.getClass());
} catch (ClassNotFoundException e) {
// TODO Auto-generated catch block
e.printStackTrace();
return interfaceObject;
Here when I use EasyMock.createMock(className.getClass()) I am getting the below error :-
"Type mismatch Error saying cannot convert capture#2 of ? extends String to T"
Here createMock takes class as a parameter as shown below:-
public static <T> T createMock(Class<T> toMock)
/* 46 */ return createControl().createMock(toMock);
What I am doing wrong here? Please clarify.

Load a class based on the value of a string
I have a string coming in into a servlet.
I want to instaniate a class that is the same name
as the string.
A class exists for every possible value of the string.
this is what my vision is.
public ActionForward execute(
ActionMapping mapping,
ActionForm form,
HttpServletRequest request,
HttpServletResponse response)
throws Exception {
SubmitForm frm = (SubmitList)form;
String classname = (String)request.getAttribute("listToEdit");
//this is where the help is needed.
//create an instance of the correct object.
//pass it the form
//class that objects execute method
obj o = loadclass(classname);
obj.setForm(frm);
obj.execute();thanks steve , class.Forname is what i was looking for.
I realized i need to cast it to the appropriate object and i was looking into that. You just solved it with the interface example.
One more question.
does my class have to implement the interface i create.
public class TelephonNumbers implements ListEditInterface {
private ActionForm form;
public void setForm(ActionForm form) {
this.form = form;}
public void execute(HttpServletRequest r) {
//get session bean
//update appropriate list in bean
//put the bean back into the request/session
//pass control back to action class.

Runtime interface mapping selection based on the target message. SYNCHRNOUS
Hi,
X system sends the data to SAP PI through SOAP. SAP PI determines the target operation after performing the RFC look in ECC whether to create/change/update master data in ECC. So SAP PI has to execute different mapping program bsed on the response from RFC lookup. This can be achieved through Enhanced Receiver Determination. My question is here the X system needs the final response...i.e SYNCHRONOUS interface. How can we implement this requirement ?
Thanks in advance,Hi Mythree,
>>Can we handle the response (synchronous interface) using enhanced interface determination.
No.. But if you choose to use Enhanced Receiver Determination then your scenario might work!!! (Hoping that you are in PI7.1 or I7.0 SPS23. Check this link http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04/helpdata/en/43/a5f2066340332de10000000a11466f/frameset.htm)
If you have doubt in creating the Enhanced RD then check this wiki page http://wiki.sdn.sap.com/wiki/display/XI/EnhancedReceiverDeterminationinSAP+XI
Now once the Receivers are identified in Runtime, you can use a normal (sync to sync interface ) interface determination and get back the response.

Does Huawei router NE40 support Class-Based QoS?
As I know Class-based QoS defines traffic classifiers based on certain rules and associates traffic classifiers with certain traffic behaviors, forming certain traffic policies. After
these policies are applied to interfaces, class-based traffic policing, traffic shaping, congestion management, and precedence re-marking are implemented.
Does Huawei router NE40 support Class-Based QoS?The NE80E/40E supports DiffServ and provides standard forwarding services such as EF and AF for users by using the following traffic management measures:
1 Traffic classification
2 Traffic policing
3 Traffic shaping
4 Congestion avoidance
QoS of the NE80E/40E supports traffic policy with the above measures and mapping between the QoS fields in the IP header and the MPLS header.

Runtime flow sequence of receiver or interface determinations is based on
There is interface whose message flows as mentioned below.
System A <=> System B <=> System c
BPM: Receive -> sync send 1 -> sync send 2 -> async send
System A sends the sync message to System B, System b response as request to System c and System C
response as response to System A
Receiver/interface determinations:
i: RD/ID: System A to IP
ii: RD/ID: IP to System B (Operation mapping from IP to System B)
iii: RD/ID: IP to system C (Operation mapping from IP to System C)
No conditions in Receiver/interface determination
My query is how IE determines after i:RD/ID execution it should go to ii/iii: RD/ID ?
Is it based on Message interface(Message type) i.e Receiver IP message interface should be similar to sender
IP message interface ?
Otherwise based on the sequence of creation of RD/ID in Configuration scenario ?Source Mesage interface in 2nd RD/ID is not dependent on previous target Message interface of RD/ID. Both interfaces can be any message interfaces ?
So you are asking me if it's possible - then I would say yes.
Let consider this - You have received a message in the BPM and this message has to be called on two different systems synchronously. In this case Both the synch step will have the Source interface as the message received in BPM correct? Does the 2nd Synch step Source Interface is dependant on 1st Synch step Target Interface? - NO.
I hope it clears a bit.
I'm not understanding your other question... -
How do I assign a css class based on spry data?
I need to assign a css class based on the value of spry data. IOW - I need to do a calculation on two values and assign a class to that <tr> if the resulting value if > 0. Is it possible to plug spry data into php? Is there a better way to go about doing this? Spry may have a function that will hide or style data based on the value of that data, but I can't find it.
I think I need to provide better information. I currently have:
<tbody spry:repeatchildren="JSCC_Courses" spry:choose="choose" >
<tr spry:when="'{method}' == 'WEB'" style="background-color: #fffdc7;">
<td>{callno}</td>
<td>{rubric}</td>
<td>{session}</td>
<td>{hours}</td>
<td>{title}</td>
<td>{days}</td>
<td>{time}</td>
<td>{room}</td>
<td>{instructor}</td>
<td>{seats}</td>
<td>{location}</td>
</tr>
<tr spry:when="'{method}' == 'VDC'" style="background-color: #cbffc7;" >
<td>{callno}</td>
<td>{rubric}</td>
<td>{session}</td>
<td>{hours}</td>
<td>{title}</td>
<td>{days}</td>
<td>{time}</td>
<td>{room}</td>
<td>{instructor}</td>
<td>{seats}</td>
<td>{location}</td>
</tr>
<tr spry:default="default">
<td>{callno}</td>
<td>{rubric}</td>
<td>{session}</td>
<td>{hours}</td>
<td>{title}</td>
<td>{days}</td>
<td>{time}</td>
<td>{room}</td>
<td>{instructor}</td>
<td>{seats}</td>
<td>{location}</td>
</tr>
</tbody>
I now need to add a class to the <tr> if the {seats} > 0. I'm having trouble conceptualizing how this works in conjunction with my current spry:whens. -
How to calculate the circumference of a circle based on the following Circle class?
I have the following sealed Cirlce class
public sealed class Circle
private double radius;
public double Calculate(Func<double, double> op)
return op(radius);
I need to calculate the circumference of a (an arbitrary) circle based on this class without modifying the class. Here is what I tried that is not working:
Circle cir = new Circle();
double circ = 2 * Math.PI * cir.Calculate(5, 5);
How can I calculate a circumference of a circle based on this scenario?
Rich POk, let's clarify:
Facts:
1. The radius-field is private, and you can't set it via a public member like a method/property.
2. You don't want to change the class, but the radius
That means in other words you want to change a private field from outside of the class, which is not nice, but possible:
Circle cir = new Circle();
var field = cir.GetType().GetField("radius",BindingFlags.Instance|BindingFlags.NonPublic);
field.SetValue(cir, 5);
double circ = cir.Calculate((radius) => 2 * Math.PI * radius);
Ha, and now, did I manage to pass the skills test question? ;-)

Dear PI Experts,
I'm currently working on an integrated solution between TM <=> PI <=>ECC. When I trigger the Shipment creation from TM to ECC, I received an error in the SXMB_MONI of ECC.
In the XML, I figured the error that No Implementing class registered for the Interface TransportationOrderSCMExecutionRequest_In .
May I ask you advices on this issue? Is it a mapping error on ECC or PI Side?
Thanks in advance for you help and advice.

No implementing class registered for the interface
Hello,
I know that I'm not the first one posting this problem, but I can't find an appropriate solution for my problem. When I execute the FlightSeatAvailabilityCheck scenario I got the following error:
Unable to check flight availability.
Error Type: XI system error
Error Details: No implementing class registered for the interface (type ifmmessif, name FlightSeatAvailabilityQuery_Out, namespace http://sap.com/xi/XI/Demo/Agency )
I have to say that I accidently deleted the proxy but I have recreated and activated the concerning proxy (CO_SXIDAG_FSA_QUERY) and still get the error. I read in this thread: XI 3.0 Demo: Unable to check flight availability: XI System Error that it would help to create a RFC in sm59. Why do I have to do this although I'm using proxies?
And does it make a difference in which client I create and activate the proxies?
Regards
Marci tried following solution also from old messages in SDN -
Go to SXMB_ADM.
Execute Integration Engine
EDIT-> Change Global configuration data
Select the Role of Business System is Integration Server
Again started getting error-PROXY_NOT_ALLOWED_ON_IS:
Proxy calls are not permitted on sender or receiver side on the IS (client)</SAP:Stack>
But again one of the messages in SDN suggests to change Global configuration data,
EDIT-> Change Global configuration data
Select the Role of Business System is Application system.
it seems it's going in loop.... -
The XElement class explicitly implements the IXmlISerializable interface?
I see a sentence on a training book.
"The XElement class explicitly implements the IXmlSerializable
interface, which contains the GetSchema, ReadXml, and
WriteXml methods so this object can be serialized."
I don't understand it. From
the example, explicitly implements the IXmlSerializable interface is from a custom class rather than XElement class. Is
MSDN wrong?I mean in the stackoverflow example,the class is a customized one "MyCalendar:IXmlSerializable"
public class MyCalendar : IXmlSerializable
private string _name;
private bool _enabled;
private Color _color;
private List<MyEvent> _events = new List<MyEvent>();
public XmlSchema GetSchema() { return null; }
public void ReadXml(XmlReader reader)
If XElement is a class that implements IXmlSerializable, what is the detail then?
public class XElement : IXmlSerializable
public XmlSchema GetSchema() { *detail*?; }
public void ReadXml(XmlReader reader){*detail*?}
Any source code of XElement class? -

Concrete classes implement abstract class and implements the interface
I have one query..
In java collection framework, concrete classes extend the abstract classes and implement the interface. What is the reason behind extending the class and implementing the interface when the abstract class actually claims to implement that interface?
For example :
Class Vector extends AbstractList and implements List ,....
But the abstract class AbstractList implements List.. So the class Vector need not explicitly implement interface List.
So, what is the reason behind this explicit definition...?
If anybody knows please let me know..
Thanx
Rajendra.Why do you post this question again? You already asked this once in another thread and it has been extensively debated in that thread: http://forum.java.sun.com/thread.jsp?forum=31&thread=347682

Hello
I created custom class based on CL_RSR_WWW_MODIFY_TABLE in order to modify web template.
I would like to pass parameter to this class. How is it possible?
HUGE thanks!Hello ,
Various methods will be given for the class like CAPTION_CELL CHARACTERISTIC_CELL:
Position the cursor on the name of the method and click on 'Redefine' , where you will get the parameters used in the method such as I_X, I_COLSPAN, where you can define your logic.
hope it helps
