Interface Scenarios - Issues / Messages tab

Hi,
How can I activate the Issues / Messages tab of the Interface scenarios? The tab is available but I cannot enter any issues or messages as  I can do under Configurations.
Any inputs are appreciated.
Many thanks,
Dharmi

Hi Dharmi,
I see what you mean but this is not possible for this node. Even if you create subnodes under Interface Scenarios, Issues/Messages cannot be entered here as per other nodes.
Possibly you could try linking a node or document to the Interface Scenarios node and assigning an Issue/Message to the original node above.

  • Issue/Messages Tab

    Dear All,
In SOLAR 01 transaction, there is a tab for Issues/Message. In that tab there is a first column named Type which will have two option in drop down, Message - BMIS and Issue - SAIS.
My query is can we add more types like messages and issues. If so were it has to be configured.
    thanks and regards
    Praveen.J

    Hi Marcel,
the tab Messages/Issues is prepared only for documents of type Messages and Issues. These types (BMIS for Messages and SAIS for Issues)  are fixed values of Domain HIER_RTYPE_IM, which is used in the list of values for field Type. Besides that the standard program behind SOLAR01/SOLAR02 is considering only the creation of Messages and Issues as well, this is hard coded, function codes SA_CREATE_MESSAGE and SA_CREATE_ISSUE (assigned to button Create). If you use ZLFN instead of SLFN it will be reflected in the tab, i.e., instead of creating SLFN you could use ZLFN, but no other transaction types not related to messages/issues such as ChaRM change request or documents.
    Best regards,

  • Issues/Messages Tab in Solar02 Tcode .

    Hi All,
I am trying to create a New issue in Solar02 Tcode. But it is taking too much of time to open that create issue screen. Is this an Memory related issue or Configuration Issue?. Could you suggest me regarding this issue?
    Thanks & Regards,
    Krishnan Kumar.K

    Hi Krishnan,
When you create a message or issue in solar transactions it will call the service desk screen to perform the action and afterwards it'll assign it to the project. So based on what you described, as the screen is taking too much time to come, this indicates the problem is related to your service desk area. I suggest you to take a look on your service desk configuration, and see if everything is ok in there.
    Kind regards, Fabricius

  • Support messages not getting displayed in Messages Tab - Solar01/02

    Hi,
I am having an issue in displaying the support messages under the message tab of Solar01 and Solar02. If I try to create a new message, the notification pops up and also gets saved. But the message does not get displayed under the tab.
I can find that the message is properly created through transaction monitor.Even if I try to manually assign the support message number in Messages tab it gives an error saying the number does not exist. We are using SOLMAN 4.0 SP 11.
Please help. Points will be awarded for useful answers.
    Regards,
    J.Prabananth

    Dear Prabanath,
I am not too sure you will be able to assign numbers to support messages. Run the report CRM_DNO_MONITOR and get the full number from the report and insert the ticket number in issue messages tab and click on save and go back one screen, it will ask you if you want to save, select yes.
That worked for me. Recently I have strugged to resolve this. We are on Solman 4.0 SP12. Check if you have all necessary permissions for you and do you have any thing in sm21 or st22 by any chance if the issue is related to support pack ?
Let me know if there are any issues. I might be able to help you.

  • Problem with Message tab in Message mapping

    Hi,
My scenario is JDBC to RFC.
For each row I get from JDBC i need to call RFC that many times.
For example I am getting 10 rows from database I should run RFC 10 times but in the mapping the occurrence of RFC is 1..1.
I tried to change the occurence of RFC to 0..Unbounded in Messages tab of Message mapping ,but when I run this interface it is getting error in message mapping, because of extra XML tags messages and message1 in the source structure.
Could you please help me with this.

    Well,
    1. Are you adding these extra tags in your test data? You should not add (if you are adding) because at run time (when you run scenario) these extra tags are taken care automatically.
    2. If you are testing in Test TAB in Message Mapping then you have to add these extra tags there only.

    Sarvesh

  • Exchanging data between interface mapping and message mapping possible?

    Hi,
please have a look at my interface mapping:
    source message -
    >
    mapping programs
    1. Java mapping
    2. XSL mapping
    3. message mapping
    > target message
in my scenario a Java Class (1) is called for the interface mapping. There, some information ist read from the xml structure. Next, a xslt mapping (2) takes place that strips some information. The remaining data is passed to the message mapping (3)
The reason for this is that the source message consists of a xml message inside an xml message.
I am looking for a way to access the informationen gained in step 1 (Java class) in the message mapping (step 3). I was hoping that the global container (used by user-defined function within message mapping) is accessible from the java mapping, but I could not find out how.
Anybody with some ideas how to pass information from step 1 to step 3? I cannot put the Information in the xml that is passed to the message mapping, because the schema of the inner xml cannot be changed.
    Thanks very much, best regards,
    Wolfgang

    Hi Wolfgang!
I have used the "Dynamic Configuration" section in the XI Message header for this issue. You could write something into the Dynamic Configuration Section in step 1 (Java-Mapping) and read it out again in steps 2 or 3. You could use a section for a adapter you are not using in your interface for the real receiver. So if you have a File-Receiver Adapter at the "end" you could use some section of the e.g. SOAP adapter not to interfere with your receiver-adapter when using Dynamic Configuration Settings there ...

  • Proxy to file scenario issue

    Hi,
I am trying to configure a Proxy to file scenario.
My sender service is ERP system and the my receiver is PI file system.
These are the steps I followed:
    1. Created a sender business system for Web AS abap (my ERP system)
    2. Created a receiver business system for third party (my PI system)
    3. I created all the interface objects(datatype, message type, message interface etc) in Integration repository.
    4. In the ERP system , I configured http connection of type h to PI system and also configured lcrsaprfc, sapsldapi connections of type t. I followed this blog: How do you activate ABAP Proxies?
    5. I also configured the ERP system as local integration engine, by setting the role to application system in sxmb_adm (followed the above blog).
    5. Now I generated proxy in sproxy transaction for the outbound interface.
    6. Then I created the communication channel, receiver agreement, interface determination and receiver determination in Integration directory.
    7. I created a abap program to call the execute_asynchronous method.
Now the issue is, when I execute my report, nothing happens. I can see the success xml message in sxmb_moni in ERP system. No message is seen on the PI's sxmb_moni. The file is not written either to ERP or PI systems.
Since I am new to PI, I am not sure where to begin with.
If anybody can help that would be great.
    Thanks
    MLS

    Hi
    Check the following
    1. RFC connection between R/3 and PI
    2. You said Business system of type third party (PI) is receiving it. Try Business system standalone Java. If PI system is already defined in Landscape as Integration server. It will not show any message output.
    3. message is shown in sxmb_moni in your ERP that measn proxy is able to receive all objects and passed it from there.
    4. Check in SMQ2 outbound queue of ERP as well as inbound queue for PI if message exist.
    5. While configuring in ID you dont need a sender agreement. Did you created one.
    Thanks

  • Interface scenarios - new attributes for adapters

    Hi,
sinde sp15 we have a new tab interface scenarios in solman
and there are many adapters lile: EDI, XI adapters, etc that
we can use in those scanarios with special attributes
    for each of those adapters
if there any chance to add some new attributes in standard
    to those tabs ?
    thank you,
    Regards,
    Michal Krawczyk

    Hi Michal,
On a related note, I would suggest you to read [this|Interfaces and Interface-Scenarios in Projects; thread, if it's useful for you.
Coming to your specific question, by new attributes do you mean new technologies being listed in the list of values ?
If so, yes you can add them (though there will be a standard warning message from SAP) in the view tables version of the following tables, from SM30.
DIR_IFTECHATTGRP     Solution Dir: Interface technology and Attribute groupe
DIR_IFTECHTOATT     Solution Dir: Assignment of Attributes to Interface techno
    DIR_IFTECH_TYPE     Solution Manager: Interface Techno
    DIR_IFACE_TECH     Solution Manager: Interface Technology
Trust this helps to answer your question.

  • Suppress Output type in Purchase order 'message' tab

    Hi,
Can any one suggest how to suppress the existing output type in purchase order ' selecting from list of output's from message tab'.
We need in database and should not delete. can it be possible to hide from list in PO that user cannot select that output.
    Thank You,
    Bhanu.

    Bhanu,
I got your requirement, but could you please let me know on what scenario you need this, because if you need the system to perform like this only when there is some specific fields in the PO, like for eg, P.organisation, or vendor, or Document type etc,,,,anything specific to this,.....then i think if  you create a table which will exactly show your target values, like grouping DOC+P.ORG+VN, or any other combination, and then assigning this to one access sequence which will in turn get assigned to the Output type which you want, then i think only that output type will pop up as the other one is not assigned to the access sequence or the combinations you set. Likewise you can suppress one Output type.

    Regards
    Sekhar

    Hi Sekhar,
Problem is with your Integration server.
It is Not able to release the object Previously held.
You have to restart your server (Dont Know if u can, as it is your production Server, Seviour problem)
Surprisingly these old messages (10 days) got processed y'day but only few of them NOT all.
Your server would  have been able to release some object due to availibility of resources.

  • Messages displayed in the Approval and message tab in SRM approval is same

    Hi,
We are having an issue with the message displayed in the approval step. When we click on the approval option in SRM, we get two tabs displayed Approval and Messages. The content displayed in both the tab is same for one user. Generally the content displayed in approval tab is "Here you can approve/reject shopping carts, confirmations of goods receipts, and so on.Select 'Edit' to display details" and the details in Messages tab is "Here you can see e-mails on the purchase transaction." But for this particular user the content displayed is "Here you can see e-mails on the purchase transaction." in both the approval and message tab.
We checked the roles and profiles and its same as the other users. Can some one please suggest what would be the reason for this functionality with this user.
    Regards
    GGL

OK, so you only have this problem in PROD, all other systems (DEV, QA) are fine... I assume you checked your BAdI transports in PROD as well... If all OK, that leads me to think there's nothing wrong with your custom code or transports.
SRM 5.0 is notorious for these kinds of issues where workflow templates work in one environment, but are erroneous in another (most times this is due to inactive status). That is why I asked you to check the workflow for consistency in SWUD.
From your answer, I did not understand whether you'd checked all the subworkflows separately in SWUD (not as part of the main workflow check). If you didn't do that, find all the subworkflows (and the subworkflows of the subworkflows where applicable) in SWDD by stepping through the main workflow, and then run the SWUD check on each of them separately.
Also, please check the Review workflow WS10000265. This particular workflow may not show in SWDD as a subworkflow, but actually is part of the process. If it's broken, you may encounter issues like you're describing.
    Cheers,
    Serguei

Frankly, I can't find a good reference that lists exactly what every privilege does...
There is an article by one of Oracle's product managers
    http://www.oracle.com/technology/oramag/oracle/03-jul/o43devjvm.html
that indicates that you should "grant java.io.FilePermission only to explicitly listed files."
You might try posting over on the JVM forum...
