Interface to third party ticketing system

hi all
for incident tickets the documentation of the web service api was helpful, but following SRPO i had to use "obsolete transactions" instead of the SOAMANAGER.
for change tickets i still found no way to integrate third party.
looking for answers here.

    Do we need to do configuration for decentralised Warehouse in SAP for handling this?

    This is a std business process where clients have used their existing warehousing systems but implemented SAP forother functions such as Order entry, inventory mgmt and procurement, financials.
    The typical interface that needs to happen is
    1. Sales order ( and or delivery)
    2. Invetory needs to be passed to the WH. Typically people send it when SAP GR takes place.
    3. When WH system does picking, it sends signal to SAP which then does PGI for the sales order delivery and that takes the stock out of the system.
    Material master has to be transferred or mapped between two systems. Also, other elements need to be mapped between two systems.
    The way I have seen this happening is :
    you have an output on the SAP GR process. That creates an idoc to the WH system. Based on the capabilities of the WH system, it then does appropriate actions in the system.
    Many times, middlewares are used to translate/ map the data between SAP and the WH systems.
    So system wise, there is ALE setup that needs to take place for IDOC creations.
    Configuration and coding is required for the output type and the program behind it. There are several std FUnction Modules that can be used for this.

  • How to configure PA48 for hiring/rehiring from third party applicant system

    Hi,
    We are building the interface between SAP and third party applicant system. There is no ALE/RFC possible, so we will  develop a ABAP program to fill the interface table T752F from a XML file from the vendor system.  We would like to use transaction PA48 for performing hiring transaction.
    Question:
    1. We need to use 3 differnt action types depending on whether it is external candidate/Internal candidate or re-hiring. How to default the correct action type? What are the configuration steps?
    Would appreciate if anyone could share some documenation on the whole data transfer process.

    Hi Danish,
    Yes, you can supply HR action type in the in the interface (T752f-massn), which will be defaulted when you run the hire action from PA48 screen.

    I wish to know if it is possible to associate a third-party business system to a software version and therefore to a software component.

    go to SLD.......go to Business system......click on new business system to create it.........then select your technical system for third party........then tell the sw component to be linked to the third party business system........then your third party business sytem will be linked to the sw component in PI7.1.

    You need to create Business system in SLD and import the business system in ID.Then u will start with the configuration.

    now some of these are constants that we need not determine every time.
    but my question is, can we maintain these as a set of parameters in the method definitionunder parameters tabjust similar to MAIL_HEADER...which is displayed in the mail alert.
    we already have a scenario maintained in the HPSD where it reads the mail picks up specific content based on key words, and creates a ticket.
    and If we can maintain these by modifying the method, then where can we maintain the multiple data/options for this
    And also please send me what were the steps u have done.
    U used a Z method or customized the Function module??
    Bcz in my case I think I will have to do both..

  • Inventory onhand quantities check from third party OM system - EBS R12

    We need to build a custom program in EBS which will give the onhand quantity availability of an item being ordered (in third party system), when being called from the third party ordering system. How do i start building such a custom program in EBS (tables, some logic ideas). Any inputs?

    First of all, find out if you need to get Onhand Quantity in Oracle or the Available quantity in Oracle.
    Getting Onhand quantity is a matter of simply looking up one table.
    Getting availability is a little bit more complicated.
    Then you need to find out the architecture. Is the 3rd party app going to have a real time connection to EBS? Can it connect to EBS using dblink? Does that app need a file on daily basis?
    You need to define your requirements further.

    This is about Motion control in Labview: I try to control a step motor by using a PXI 7350 controller and UMI 7774 to interface with  third-party driver UDK5114NW2. The problem is 5 Disable LEDS on UMI 7774 board always lit even when I check "enable" on "Motion I/O setting" in configuration of PXI 7350 motion controller. Furthermore, when I start to control step motor, it is not working and I found disable LED on UMI board still lit. I don't know how to solve this problem. Can someone help me to figure out?     I said wrong, 4 disable LEDS on UMI 7774 Board instead of 5 as my previous post. Why nobody help me to solve this problem. I can not turn off disable LEDs on UMI 7774 Board so I can not start the strp motor. Please help me!

  • CUCM mulitiple paging via ATA and third party paging system

    We have several campuses in our school district that use an ATA connected to a third party paging system.  A couple of the Schools are merging...and they wanted to know if we could in some way "link" the two paging systems so that they only have to call one extension when they page.  We are currently using CUCM v 8.6.1

    Yeah, that won't work, plenty of people had already tried that to simulate a paging system, you only get the connection to the device that answers the call.
    The only possible way I can think of, assuming they're in the same physical area, is to actually fork the cable from the ATA to the paging system.
    If not, they'll have to live with two DNs for paging.
