Interface with multiple msg.PM

Hi, Experts,
I’m considering the parallel migration to FS-PM from legacy system using migration solution.
As far as I know, FS-PM has the business validation step (check data, recalculation the premium) after finishing the technical validation.
To deal with the parallel approach for the business validation in the FS-PM, I would like to know that FS-PM can interface with the multiple msg.PM system.
It means that 2 or 3 msg.PM can connect with a FS-PM system to reduce the migration time (or load balancing).
My assumption may be wrong in the parallel migration. But I really want that multiple interface with msg.PM can be possible or not in terms of the technical aspects.
Please let me know if you have some idea or relevant experiences.
Thank you in advance.
Best regards,
Kyoungkeun

  • Any possiblity to use single Inbound Service Interface with multiple Receiver Agreements

    Hi All,
    Scenario: PROXY to FILE.
    Requirement is to receive to two locations.
    Is it possible to use single Inbound interface with multiple Receiver Agreements. I tried using two operation in the Inbound Service Interface, and Operation Specific in Determination. But couldnt proceed further. Do I need to use seperate Service Interface for two receiver locations?
    Please suggest some solution.

    Hi Naveen,
    There is a possibility but in the case in the same server location with dynamic configuration: Placing file in two different directories using single receiver communication Channel
    With different location you would need to develop a new adapter module as Amit Srivastava explains and develops here Send File to Two Different Locations using Adapter Module

  • Mapping in Services Interface with multiple operation... ?

    Hi ALL,
    I have a SOAP to SOAP scenario here Just PI 7.1 with EHP1 acting a bus no mapping nothing .
    1) I have the WSDL file from the receiver system with multiple synchronous operations  in it ..i imported the wsdl as External Definition .. i used the same the WSDL file to create the sender Service interface also...
    when i created the service interface with the operation in it , i just gave the same operation name from the WSDL.this i followed for the sender and receiver service interface.
    1)now the issue is do i need any operation mapping if the service interface has more than one operation ...?
    2) I compelted the scenario without any operation mapping ..but i am getting this error ..Problem occurred in receiver agreement for sender -ICRM_D to receiver -EXACTTGETWEBSERVICE_D,http://ICRMtoExactTaetWebservice.com.si_os_ICRM_EXACTTETWEBSERVICE: No standard agreement found for , ICRM_D, , EXACTTARGEBSERVICE_D, http://ICRMtoExactarebservice.com, si_os_ICRM_EXACGETWEBSERVICE..?
    pls help me in this issue..

  • Interface with multiple hard drives

    I am looking to buy a Mac Pro later this year, although want to learn about everything now, so I am well educated when I buy it ^^
    I was reading around http://macperformanceguide.com/Mac-LightingFast.html and it brought up a question. Right now I have a 170 GB MBP and a Time Capsule... If I were to get a Mac Pro with the proposed SSD Launch Drive and Hard Drive data drive, what would the interface be?  Would it be similar to the interface with a time capsule, with different hard drives listed in the finder window?  Or would it ask me to specify where to write?  Or would I manually choose a 'default write to' on all my applications?
    Thanks
    Ben

    Buy your own SSD, RAM and hard drives.
    Mercury Extreme Pro 6G SSD

    There are 4 internal drive bays, get it stock, skip getting an apple branded SSD they tend to not be best of class. All drives have to be 3.5" SATA or use an adapter to fit the sleds.  Other than application preferences for where a media library is,  default location for documents, scratch, and of course you can put your /Users/myaccount on a data drive.
    My PCs have 1.2GB/sec of SATA bandwidth. Double the 600MB/sec that is shared by 4 SATA ports.

  • Using an audio interface with multiple inputs

    Hi,
    I'm currently facing an issue where I need to be able to use the audio from a microphone and a keyboard through Skype calling. I have them both plugged in to a Focusrite Saffire Pro 24 audio interface. The problem is that only the microphone plugged into input 1 seems to be coming through, as if Skype will only address one channel of the interface. Is there any way around this or a different method you have used in a similar situation?
    Thanks,

    I stumbled upon this thread in searching for some deeply hidden feature in Skype, but alas, there may not be a fix within Skype.  I realize the parent topic is very old, but I hope this can hope anyone in need of a solution (or get skype to incorporate some sort of summing feature).
    That being said, there is an alternative for those of us with interfaces that have fully customizable routing.  Fully customizable routing, and more than your standard two (stereo) outputs, and at least one more input than you need in total for microphones.
    What we're going to have to do for our podcast (one member is on vacation, states away), is hook all microphones into inputs that are not input 1. As far as I can tell, Skype will only recognize input 1.  In your interface's output routing software, you will need to create a submix/monitor mix (whatever they will call it) that sums (combines) all of the microphones together.  While you have the ability to add the software/daw return to this mix, you typically will not want to, as it could create feedback for the person joining the conversation via skype.
    After you have created this submix/monitor mix (and be sure to double/triple check that input 1 is not involved with this mix at all) you will assign this to an auxiliary output... so say, your interface has 4 outputs, assign it to output 3.  Then lead a cable from the physical output 3 into the physical input 1 on your interface.
    What this accomplishes is we're effectively sending all microphones into input 1, so your Skype recipient will be able to hear a mixdown of all microphones.  Certain interfaces will also allow you to do this routing without cabling.
    There are more things to keep in mind, like if you're recording the call, you'll want to run a parallel output from your Main DAW/Software return into another physical input, but again, quadruple-check that you are not monitoring that track into your main buss as it would create a horrible feedback loop.  Generally I'd have the caller record their audio through Audacity or something free, but getting their recording on my end makes for syncing the call to the room recording so much easier... SO MUCH.
    TL;DR
    1) Make sure you have more than 2 outputs, and 1 more input than you would normally need for mic's.
    2) Plug microphones into inputs 2 and on, saving input 1.
    3) Use interface's software/routing mixer to sum all microphone inputs (EXCEPT 1) to an unused physical output.
    4) Route or connect that output into Input 1.
    0-5) For the love of all audio gods, make sure you are double checking to avoid feedback.
    I also recognize that with the appearance of things like WavTap and Soundflower that there are other solutions -- but this is one option for those of us that do not wish to explore those options.

  • Inbound interface with multiple IDOC processing

    Hi,
    I have to create an inbound interface which has to be triggered only when a batch job is completed in the middleware. The batch job will create 2000 records and 1 IDOC for each record. I have to get all the 2000 IDOCs and then process them together. I have to manipulate the data in these 2000 IDOCs and update them in a SAP table.
    Please let me know how do I proceed with this.
    Should I go with a custom func module or a custom program?
    Thanks,

  • Provider proxy error - Service Interface with multiple operations

    Hello experts,
    I've a synchronous provider proxy scenario using an inbound and outbound service interface.
    That service interface contains 3 operations: create, change and delete a table entry.
    I created all the necessary repository objects and integration scenario objects.
    Next, I generated a provider proxy on the ECC backend system and created an endpoint via SOAMANAGER.
    When I test, I get this error:
    No implementing class registered for the interface (ABAP interface, request message ...., request message, namespace....)
    I currently use a receiver XI adapter in the scenario. Is that ok?
    or should I use a receiver SOAP adapter with a SOAP action?
    Please advise.
    Thanks a lot.

  • IDoc - IDoc interfacing with multiple mappings

    Hi,
    We want to use two different mappings for the same IDoc interface (based on a condition). So we use the ORDERS idoc for a sales scenario and also for a purchase scenario. The sending service is the same for both ORDERS messages, lets call it service SEND. Furthermore, for both ORDERS messages, the receiving service is also the same lets call it RECV.
    The problem is that we want to use a different mapping for the ORDERS sales scenario as for the ORDERS purchase scenario. The sending and receiving interface in both cases is the same.
    The receiver determination and interface/mapping determination is a problem in this case.
    One way to solve this is to use a party, but in the configuration of the party you can only use the same sending logical system name ONCE. So party A cannot have the same logical system name (SEND) as party B (SEND) for scheme ALE#LS.
    Another way would be to use different services, one for the first scenario and mapping and one for the second. Again the problem is that you need to enter adapter settings for both services (RECV1 and RECV2), but a logical system name can only be used in ONE service. If you want to assgin it to a second service, this is not allowed.
    Does anybody have a solution for this?
    thanks !

    Hi Alexander,
    why don't you try doing it in one BPM?
    something like this:
    one sender
    one receiver
    2 mapping programs
    <b>Receive step</b> -> <b>Swich Step</b> - if PO go to <b>Transformation step</b> one (mapping 1), else go to <b>Transformation step</b> two  (mapping for the SO) - <b>Send Step</b>?
    you can base you swith step on E1EDK14 segment qualifier = 013
    (As far as I remamber only Purches orders have it)
    but check it:)
    BTW
    if you use the Swith Step you probably want to use a Transformation step before the Swith step (mapping from ORDERS to dummy message with one TAG - indication if this is PO or SO based on content of the ORDERS) this way the swich step will work for sure

  • Proxy to JDBC interface with multiple select queries

    Hi all,
    We have to develop a interface where SAP will be sending a Number based on which we have to fetch the data from the database and send it to back to the SAP system.
    The data in database is spread across 6-7 tables/views and canu2019t be fetched using a single query even with joins.
    Can anyone please suggest the best way to develop this interface.
    As it would be a synchronous interface, I think it is not possible to use multimapping.
    Regards
    Younus

    >They have confirmed that they can't create a stored procedure but can create PL/SQL program or function with the same logic.
    IMO, it is not fully feasible to call the oracle function from PI. I would recommend still to use query and construct the following jdbc data structure.
    <StatementName>
    <anyName action=u201D SQL_QUERYu201D
    <access>SQL-String with optional placeholder(s)</access>
    <key>
      <placeholder1>value1</placeholder1>
      <placeholder2>value2<placeholder2>
    </key>
    </anyName >
    </StatementName>
    Place your complex join query in the access tag element. Under key tag you can pass values through placeholder element and reference the placeholder element as follows. Sample as follows...
    <statement>
        <Customers action="SQL_QUERY">
          <access> Select x,y,z from customers1 a, customers2 b,customers3  c, where a.CompanyName=u2019$NAME$u2019 and b.CustomerID='$KEYFIELD$u2019
          </access>
          <key>
            <NAME>Company</NAME>
             <KEYFIELD>CO</KEYFIELD>
          </key>
        </Customers>
      </statement>

  • Is it possible for Nexus7000 flexible netflow monitor for interfaces with different vrf and export to one netflow analyzer?

    I have a Nexus 7000 with many vlan interfaces with multiple vrf, I would like to know if my netflow analyzer only connected to one vrf, can I use flexible netflow on the Nexus 7000 to monitor those vlan interfaces with multiple vrf and export them to my netflow analyzer, so that I can see all flow from different vrfs on my netflow analyzer?
    Thank you!

    Adriano, there is a RV042G, which supports the gig ports and a 800 mbps nat throughput. Here is the datasheet
    http://www.cisco.com/en/US/prod/collateral/routers/ps10907/ps9923/ps12262/data_sheet_c78-706724.html
    If you are using a DSL connection, the SRP527/547 models may be an alternative. These models support the RFC 1483 Bridges EOA Please note the SRP547 should be 10/100/1000. Also note the SRP521/541 are Fast Ethernet units and they do differ from the SRP527/547. The main selling point of these devices are the FXS/FXO ports. So this may also be a bit of an "unfocused" solution. But it's worth throwing the idea out there!

  • Timesten replication with multiple interfaces sharing the same hostname

    Hi,
    we have in our environment two Sun T2000 nodes, running SunOS 5.10 and hosting a TT server currently in Release 7.0.5.9.0, replicated between each other.
    I would like to have some more information on the behavior of the replication w.r.t. network reliability when using two interfaces associated to the same hostname, the one used to define the replication element.
    To make an example we have our nodes sharing this common /etc/hosts elements:
    151.98.227.5 TBMAS10df2 TBMAS10df2-10 TBMAS10df2-ttrep
    151.98.226.5 TBMAS10df2 TBMAS10df2-01 TBMAS10df2-ttrep
    151.98.227.4 TBMAS9df1 TBMAS9df1-10 TBMAS9df1-ttrep
    151.98.226.4 TBMAS9df1 TBMAS9df1-01 TBMAS9df1-ttrep
    with the following element defined for replication:
    ALTER REPLICATION REPLSCHEME
    ADD ELEMENT HDF_GNP_CDPN_1 TABLE HDF_GNP_CDPN
    CHECK CONFLICTS BY ROW TIMESTAMP
    COLUMN ConflictResTimeStamp
    REPORT TO '/sn/sps/HDF620/datamodel/tt41dataConflict.rpt'
    MASTER tt41data ON "TBMAS9df1-ttrep"
    SUBSCRIBER tt41data ON "TBMAS10df2-ttrep"
    RETURN RECEIPT BY REQUEST
    ADD ELEMENT HDF_GNP_CDPN_2 TABLE HDF_GNP_CDPN
    CHECK CONFLICTS BY ROW TIMESTAMP
    COLUMN ConflictResTimeStamp
    REPORT TO '/sn/sps/HDF620/datamodel/tt41dataConflict.rpt'
    MASTER tt41data ON "TBMAS10df2-ttrep"
    SUBSCRIBER tt41data ON "TBMAS9df1-ttrep"
    RETURN RECEIPT BY REQUEST;
    On this subject moving from 6.0.x to 7.0.x there has been some changes I would like to better understand.
    6.0.x reported in the documentation for Unix systems:
    If a host contains multiple network interfaces (with different IP addresses),
    TimesTen replication tries to connect to the IP addresses in the same order as
    returned by the gethostbyname call. It will try to connect using the first address;
    if a connection cannot be established, it tries the remaining addresses in order
    until a connection is established.
    Now On Solaris I don't know how to let gethostbyname return more than one interface (the documention notes at this point:
    If you have multiple network interface cards (NICs), be sure that “multi
    on” is specified in the /etc/host.conf file. Otherwise, gethostbyname will not
    return multiple addresses).
    But I understand this could be valid for Linux based systems not for Solaris.
    Now if I properly understand the above, how was the 6.0.x able to realize the first interface in the list (using the same -ttrep hostname) was down and use the other, if gethostbyname was reporting only a single entry ?
    Once upgraded to 7.0.x we realized the ADD ROUTE option was added to teach TT how to use different interfaces associated to the same hostname. In our environment we did not include this clause, but still the replication was working fine regardless of which interface we were bringing down.
    My both questions in the end lead to the same doubt on which is the algorithm used by TT to reach the replicated node w.r.t. entries in the /etc/hosts.
    Looking at the nodes I can see that by default both routes are being used:
    TBMAS10df2:/-# netstat -an|grep "151.98.227."
    151.98.225.104.45312 151.98.227.4.14000 1049792 0 1049800 0 ESTABLISHED
    151.98.227.5.14005 151.98.227.4.47307 1049792 0 1049800 0 ESTABLISHED
    151.98.227.5.14005 151.98.227.4.48230 1049792 0 1049800 0 ESTABLISHED
    151.98.227.5.46050 151.98.227.4.14005 1049792 0 1049800 0 ESTABLISHED
    TBMAS10df2:/-# netstat -an|grep "151.98.226."
    151.98.226.5.14000 151.98.226.4.47699 1049792 0 1049800 0 ESTABLISHED
    151.98.226.5.14005 151.98.226.4.47308 1049792 0 1049800 0 ESTABLISHED
    151.98.226.5.44949 151.98.226.4.14005 1049792 0 1049800 0 ESTABLISHED
    Tried to trace with ttTraceMon but once I brought down one of the interfaces did not see any reaction on either node, if you have some info it would be really appreciated !
    Cheers,
    Mike

    Hi Chris,
    Thanks for the reply, I have few more queries on this.
    1.Using the ROUTE CLAUSE we can use multiple IPs using priority level set, so that if highest priority level set in thr ROUTE clause for the IP is not active it will fall back to the next level priority 2 set IP. But cant we use ROUTE clause to use the multiple route IPs for replication simultaneously?
    2. can we execute multiple schema for the same DSN and replication scheme but with different replication route IPs?
    for example:
    At present on my system, I have a replication scheme running for a specific DSN with stand alone Master-Subscriber mechanism, with a specific route IP through VLAN-xxx for replication.
    Now I want to create and start another replication scheme for the same DSN and replication mechanism with a different VLAN-yyy route IP to be used for replication in parallel to the existing replication scheme. without making any changes to the pre-existing replication scheme.
    for the above scenarios, will there be any specific changes respective to the different replication schema mechanism ie., Active Standby and Standalone Master Subscriber mechanism etc.,
    If so what are the steps. like how we need to change the existing schema?
    Thanks In advance.

  • Multiple interfaces with same IP address?

    Can anyone suggest how to configure multiple (logical or physical) interfaces with the same IP address?
    There is a teaser in the solaris 8 man page for 'route' that suggests this is possible:
    "In a change or add command where the destination and gateway are not sufficient to specify the route (for example, , when several interfaces have the same address), the -ifp or -ifa modifiers may be used to determine the interface or interface address."
    I can find no other reference to -ifp or -ifa, and at the moment I cannot seem to bring up two interfaces (logical or physical) with the same ip address.
    I realise this is an obscure config. Anyone intimately familiar with route of ifconfig?
    AJB

    Yes. I could have laid odds that this would be the first response :-)
    I know it is unusual, and I am aware of the inherent issues with doing something like this. I have read the multipathing guide, but it wasn't that helpful, because I want the same IP address, not just the same subnet. It is NOT for load balancing, or failover support. I'm afraid I can't give too much detail at the moment because of the nature of research project. What I will add is that I want to do this on an 802.1q enabled NIC, on the same physical port, with different logical interfaces for each VLAN having the SAME IP address.
    We can already do this on Linux, and as I said in the original post, the route man page suggests that it can probably be done on Solaris. What I really need to know is how?
    Any takers?

  • OTV site vlan with multiple overlay interface

    Hi,
    I have an OTV multihoming sites. 2 sites. 2 otv edge device each site.
    and with multiple overlay interface sharing 1 joint interface
    otv edge device connected to multiple VDC.
    each internal / downlink will forward different vlan for each vdc.
    ================================
    example
    int overlay 1
    otv extends-vlan 10
    int overlay 2
      otv extends vlan 20
    int eth 2/1
    description trunk to VDC1
    switchport trunk allowed vlan 10,100
    int eth 2/2
    description trunk to VDC2
    switchport trunk allowed vlan 20,100
    otv site-vlan 100
    ================================
    i understand that i can only use 1 site vlan.
    so in order for the failover to happen, both eth 2/1 and eth2/2 must fail?
    what if only int eth2/1 fail? will the int overlay 1 failover to secondary otv device?
    thanks,
    ivan

    "So when querying the adjacency server the ED then knows which other ED is within the same site?"
    Yes for the first part of the question, using the site Vlan unique to each site.
    Why do you need a routed link between ED's at local site? You dont need to connect those back-back over L3. Moreover if you want to use it for L3 ADJ over peer-link, you need to make sure that VLAN that you are using is not allowed on the VPC member ports, just on the peer-link, else VPC loop alrorithm will break your traffic.
    Are you planning to use multicast or a Unicast deployment? I remember I tried testing the topology in a POC for one of my customer, things did not work as expected in multicast deployment mode and worked fine in Unicast Adjacency server mode. I need to go back and check my notes on this.
    I would rather have the join-interface go back to a routed core at site rather than back-back connecivity as it opens up the tested Multicast deployment mode.

    Hi,
    when trying to create a new order using transaction ME21N or creating an entry sheet  on an existing order based on a purchase requisition  with multiple items in the tab services , the system gives the error message SE181 .
    Debugging , i've discovered that the part of code in wich the system gets stuck , is the following :

    Check if accounting data is in sync with service data "846124
               IF ACC_TOTAL NE COMSRV-NETPR and glob_empty_package NE 'X'.

                      perform add_message using comsrv-packno

    Someways , it risults that the total of the items value inserted in the tab services , is different from the total NETPR in eban .
    But that is not true . ACC_TOTAL is the variable in which the values of the multiline services is put ; I thought that maybe finding out how it is populated could help me to fix the issue , but I did'nt manage to do that .
    Can somebody help me , please?
