Interface with Weigh Bridge

I have a problem, weighbridge is connected through com port in computer. The weight captured is coming in hyperterminal of windows. Please tell me, how this weigth can be captured in SAP.
OR
If it is possible to transfer data from hyperterminal to clipboard of windows, then it can be done.
Both scenario is for on-line transaction
Thanks

  • Interfacing of weigh bridge to SAP system

    hi guy's,
our client receiving the raw material by the trucks,  so they required the interfacing the weigh bridge to  std SAP system. plz light on this scenario,
    thanks in advance
    mohan.m

    Hi,
Hope your scenario is that you are ordering raw material from a vendor and transporting the raw material ,you have a transport vendor.Once the raw material unloaded in the factory, immediately you have to pay to the transport vendor(Truck) and later based on the payment term you will pay the payment to your raw material vendor.
    1.Create material: MM01,
    2.Create Raw material Vendor: XK01,
    3.Create Transport Vendor: XK01,
4.For Aumatic Pricing Create Calculation Schema and mataioning the Condition type for Material price,Discount, Taxes and Freight chages .
5.Create PO(ME21N) Ordering material to Raw Material Vendor and come to Condition Details. In the Condition Details , select Frieght Condition type and assign to Fright Vendor.
6.Now Go for Goods Receipt with MIGO with Movement type101
7.Now immediately you have to pay to Feieght Vendor, so do Invoice Verification For Fright Vendor.Go to T.Code: MIRO and Select planned Deliver Cost and do the Invoice Veification.
8.Now go to T.Code:F-53 and pay to Fright Vendor,
9.Later you can go Invoice verification for raw material for selecting Goods/Service item
10.F-53: pay to raw material Vendor.
Hope the above will be helpful.
If helpful then reward and close the thread.

  • What is the Weigh Bridge System and How to Implement

    Hi All,
I have a requirement from a client to interface with Weigh Bridge systen and to generate the delivery order record.
Could someone explain to me what is the Weigh Bridge system and how it is being implemented in SAP.
    Thank you!
    Regards,
    Yvonne

    Hi,
this is to inform you that,
this weigh bridge concept is very simple its an interface with other or software which the company which is implementing SAP.
    for EG:
my company is cement company in production plant you will be getting raw materials in tons and out going finished products will also be in tons.
in that plant there is weigh bridge where in flow of materials will be wieghed and if it matches to the paper which is getting along with then he ticks OK other wise NOT.
the above case applies to out going of goods in tons also.

  • Weigh Scale Interface with SAP

    Hello,
Can anybody please tell me how to Interface the Weih bridge With SAP Inventory Management. The requirement is that the Truck will be weighed at the Weigh Bridge, first when it is Loaded with the Material and then it will be again weighed at another weighbride when it is empty. We have to get the Net weight of the Material and create an Inbound Delivery against the Purchase Order.
Please let me know your thoughts on this.
    Thanks & Regards,
    Himanshu.

    Hi,
to create an inbound delivery you need:
    Purchase order
    material number
so you can create it like this:
    1. create a table that will contain "process delivery"
    2. create an interface (mobile, sapgui, anything) that will
create an entry to this table - with material number and PO number
    3. when the Weigh will send any info XI (or any other middleware)
can look up this table for PO and matnr and send an inbound delivery to SAP
to see how to create delivery IDOCs:

in same frist t code u can proide the gate pass system
what u can do is create a new table for in ward movement and another table for outward
then link them for two t codes for in ward an out ward movement
do t code one for truck+load
    then t code 2 truck
so u will get the diff

  • Weigh Bridge Interface

    Dear ABAPers,
I am in Cement Implementation Project and they asked for an interface between ERP and Weigh Bridge in SD cycle .
Kindly could anyone tell me how can i start with this task? or can anyone provide methodology for performing this interface?
    Thanks

Do you have a process controlling the gate, identifying the truck, and collection two weigh-tickets empty/loaded from teh weighbridge?
If so we have an integrated solution to collect all relevant documents (weigh tickets, delivery sheet, truck identification, even photo), outside SAP, and when all is complete send it as one object on-line to the SAP screen for entry validation. This way you get two important benefits: No SAP load for programming and server load, robustness.
Have a look at [SIP Ltd > solutions ISEC|http://www.sip.com.gr:8081/triboni/exec/x/gr.sip.site.display/xsl/display/displayChapter/solutions/displaySubChapter/ISEC/page/chapter.html] the Integrated Services ERP Connector does this exactly. Its a separate server communication directly with SAP. This way the whole process of weighing and making the invoice is off line, easy parametrizable, and on-line with the SD.
    Hope this info helped

    Dear Rohan,
You need to go through the SAP xApp Manufacturing Integration and Intelligence (SAP xMII) technology, which offers a sophisticated yet easy-to-use application for aggregating, transforming, and distributing plant and production information.
Do go through some OPC (Object for Process Control) documents also. You can visit the link below to get a feel of it.

  • The best audio interface with Mac Mini using new & existing equipment?

    Hi,
I got my existing set-up back in 2003. I'm now about to update it.
I've talked to Apple Technical Support re which computer is best for me.
Some important questions remain in terms of the audio interface or sound bridge I should use.
I've detailed below my existing set-up, my existing configuration, my desired set-up (as recommended by Apple expert) and questions I have.
    Existing set-up:
    Hardware...
    1. ViewSonic HDMI 1080p Full HD LED monitor
    2. PowerMac G4 (PowerPC processor) computer
    3. PCI-424 soundcard within computer (works in conjunction with MOTU 2408 mk3 unit)
    4. MOTU 2408 mk3
    5. Quested monitors
    6. Focusrite Session Pack ff ISA220 compressor
    7. MOTU micro lite (midi-usb interface)
    8. Keyboard (yet to choose - I'll explain later)
    9. ADK Tube Condenser Commemorative Edition microphone
    10. ADK Tube Condenser Commemorative Edition microphone power box (supplies both power and phantom power)
    Software...
    11. Tiger 10.4.11 operating system
    12. Logic Studio 8 music program
    Desired set-up:
    1. ViewSonic HDMI 1080p Full HD LED monitor
    2. Mac Mini full spec = £999.00
    3. _______________________________________
    4. _______________________________________
    5. Quested monitors
    6. _______________________________________
    7. _______________________________________
    8. _______________________________________
    9. ADK Tube Condenser Commemorative Edition microphone
    10. ADK Tube Condenser Commemorative Edition microphone power box (supplies both power and phantom power)
    Software...
    11. Top-end operating system = Comes with Mac Mini
    12. Logic Pro X music program = £139.99
    Existing configuration:
ViewSonic HDMI 1080p Full HD LED monitor goes into PowerMac G4 (PowerPC processor) computer
PCI-424 soundcard within computer (works in conjunction with MOTU 2408 mk3 unit)
MOTU 2408 mk3 used as my audio interface for sound in and sound out. This means that the sound comes out of computer via the MOTU 2408 and out of my Quested monitors (they are active so self-powered) which are attached to the MOTU's outputs.
When I record vocals I sing into my ADK microphone (this microphone sources its own power from its own box which also feeds it Phantom Power) which is connected by a mic to jack cable to the Focusrite compressor which is connected by jack to jack cable to the MOTU 2408 which then goes into my computer via a firewire cable.
When I play keyboards or use my keyboard as a midi controller it connects to my computer via the MOTU micro lite (midi-usb interface).
I don't currently have a keyboard. I used to use my basic Yamaha PSR-540 keyboard as a midi controller but as it's not weighted and faulty I needed to get a new one. We got a new one via Thomann which was the M-Audio Pro Keys 88 keyboard but this quickly became faulty. We returned it and have since been considering other weighted keyboards. I am simply wanting a keyboard with Aftertouch, either 76 or 88 keys, weighted keys and very importantly, hammer action where the action is fast. I don't care for other controllers on the keyboard, on-board sounds, iPad compatibility or whatever.
    My Questions:
Q1) Can you recommend any keyboards meeting my specifications?
Q2) I can't imagine any of the Blue or other USB mics competing with my ADK and I'm quite happy with it. For vocals and when I've wanted to play the keyboard in as audio (not as a midi controller) I've used the Focusrite compressor to boost the sound. I'm not using many functions/presets on the compressor as I know it's best to record the sound of vocals mostly raw, is this correct, and if so is it worth me continuing to use this compressor or sell it?
Q3) Do I need to have the MOTU micro lite (midi to usb) unit? Don't most keyboards these days connect direct usb to usb on the computer?
Q4) I'm happy and used to the sound out from my Quested monitors. I'm happy and used to the sound in using my ADK microphone. What do I need for these to work best with the Mac Mini? Is my MOTU 2408 good for this, or is another MOTU product needed, or another product altogether?
Q5) Depending on (Q4) do I need a soundcard installed in the Mac Mini as I read on a forum that these days the audio interface acts like the soundcard?
Q6) I have such a bad connection to the internet it's like I have Dial-up!!! I use Airport Wireless which is connected to a router downstairs, which is 02 Broadband. Internet's not an issue downstairs on my girlfriend's intel PC which also uses a wireless connection but not Airport. Is this a problem because of my Airport, or do I need to get a router for upstairs, or should I connect it directy to the router downstairs by ethernet cable?
    Many thanks!

Is there a reason you don't want to use your current Tascam?

  • We want to read data from weigh bridge and display in oracle forms & store

    Sir/Madam,
in our organisation we had one requirement. i.e is reading data from weigh bridge using serial port, displying that data in oracle forms and when ever user click save button we store that into my oracle database. we are using oracle 8i and forms 6i and windows OS environment. we don't know reading data from serial port and placing that into form items. please help me as early as possible if there is any property available in d2k regarding this requirement .
    thank you,
    vishnu

There's no property in Forms that makes you read serial ports, but as far as I know you need to know the API of the machine which you want to read data from (it should come with machine's manual) and then it will be easy to store it in forms item.

  • Reading Weight from Weigh Bridge....

    Hi.
The scenario here is that we have to create module pool for picking up
the weights of trucks from weigh bridge ( AVERY brand ).
The existing system is in foxpro . Please find attached the text of AVERY guidance which exhaustively shows how the fox system is reading the
weight from the port, to which the weigh bridge is attached, on the
    system kept at the location.
I wish to have the info regarding how, this functionality can be
achieved in ABAP as my perception is that this is not a simple
execution / run of an external program.
    regards,
    Suman
    TEXT
    getwt.prg
sample weight recieving program for Avery CTH
this is demo program for getting weight from the CTH
using the CALL and LOAD commands of dBASE III PLUS only.
This demo program demonstrates the use of LOAD and CALL commands
of dBASE III PLUS to get the weight from the CTH. The actual
program to get the weight is a file called GETCTH.BIN
To use GETCTH.BIN directly do the following:
       1. Start dBASE III PLUS normally.
       2. Type the command - LOAD GETCTH at the dot prompt of dBASE III PLUS.
(Be sure to give the correct drive and/or directory where the
file GETCTH.BIN resides in your computer system).
       3. The program GETCTH.BIN will return the weight in a variable
passed from dBASE III PLUS, so first initialize a variable in
dBASE III PLUS to recieve the weight.
The weight string returned by the CTH is 26 charecters long so
define a variable of length 26 by typing the following command
          at the dot prompt:
          WEIGHT = "ABCDEFGHIJKLMNOPQRSTUVWXYZ"   { Any dummy value }
                                or
          WEIGHT = "2BCDEFGHIJKLMNOPQRSTUVWXYZ"   for COM2 port
( Note -> The choice for the name of the above variable is
purely arbitrary. Any name could have been chosen)
       4. Next type the following command at the dot prompt to call the
          GETCTH function :
          CALL GETCTH WITH WEIGHT
       5. After some time the dot prompt will return. At the dot prompt
          type the following :
          ? WEIGHT
If the GETCTH function has been successfull in getting the weight
from the CTH then this function will return the weight as a string
of 26 charecters containing the weight and other information.
Otherwise, if the function is not successfull then the value of
the variable passed will be set to 26 spaces. The major reason
for the failure of the function will be a timeout error i.e.
the CTH did not respond after a preset time interval had elasped.
The returning of 26 spaces makes it easy for a dBASE III PLUS
program to retry the weighing operation if failure is detected.
The use of this in a loop till the function succeeds in getting
a weight is illustrated below in the program.
The weight returned by the CTH consists of a string of 26 charecters
A sample weight that could be returned is reproduced below:
          ABCDEFGHIJKLMNOPQRSTUVWXYZ
            19600 kg    G 000016 O
The following is the sequence of charecters :
          1. The first two charecters ( positions A - B above ) are
             space charecters.
          2. The next five charecters ( positions C - G above ) is the
weight from the CTH - ( 19600 in this case).
          3. The next charecter ( position H above ) is a space charecter.
          4. The next two charecters ( positions I - J above ) are the weight
units - ( kg in this case ).
          5. The next four charecters ( positions K - N above ) are space
             space charecters.
          6. The next charecter ( position O above ) specifies mode of
operation. It shows 'G' for Gross mode and 'T' for Tare
             mode of operation.
          7. The next charecter ( position P above ) is a space charecter.
          8. The next six charecters ( positions Q - V above ) is the
consecutive number which is unique for each weighing.
          9. The next charecter ( position W above ) is a space charecter.
         10. The next charecter ( position X above ) is the machine ID number.
         11. The last two charecters ( positions Y - Z above ) are
Carriage return and Line feed charecters.

As explained above the last two charecters of the weight string
are the Carriage return (CR) and the Line feed (LF) charecters
out of the total of 26 charecters of the weight string. So to get
the whole weight string other than these last two chareceters we
can use the SUBSTR command of dBASE III PLUS as follows :-
      @ 14,20 say "The weight is : " + substr(weight,1,24)
This will show the whole weight string on the screen i.e. all
24 charecters ( it will not show the CR and the LF charecters ).
The CR and the LF charecters are as it is unprintable charecters
and will show up as control charecters if printed on the screen.
If the whole weight string is not required and only, say, the
weight and the weight units are required, then the following command
    could be used :-
    @ 14,20 say "The weight is : " + substr(weight,1,10)
This will show the weight value and the weight units (this substring
will include the embedded space charecters in this susbtring).
Similarly, other parameters from the weight string could be
incorporated, if required, from the whole string to enhance
the weighing process on the computer.
The idea of putting the CALL statement above in a loop is that
sometimes due to unavoidable reasons, there may some garbage
charecters on the serial port. Thus it may be necessary to flush these
charecters from the port by CALLing the function again.
Sometimes, the function may return without a timeout error but the
variable may contain some control charecters which do not make sense.
In this case the function should called repeatedly till the proper
charecters are returned. This occurs due to the reason explained
    above.

Thanks, but I've already seen this thread and done the steps described on it.
Actually, my question is very specific... How to populate the fields LinkVal and LinkUnit of the registry...
I read all the threads here in SDN and they don't answer my question...
I'd be glad if someone had already done tcode HUPAST works for Filizola...
    Tks again.

  • Problem Running App with Scripting Bridge on MAC OS X TIger

    Hi,
I have an application which link with Scripting Bridge Frame work, use XCODE 3.0 and SDK 10.5. I use Scripting Bridge, to control some functionality of ITune from Objective-C. This Application run fine on Leopard and behave as expected. When I Run this application on Tiger this does not load.
Considering that scripting Bridge was first released om Leopard.
Can my Above Application Run on Tiger. If not how do I interface ITune from Objective-C, on both Tiger and Leopard? IS there update which suppose to fix this?
    Thanks

If not how do I interface ITune from Objective-C, on both Tiger and Leopard? IS there update which suppose to fix this?
There will be no update for old products like Tiger. What there is is all you will ever get. For Tiger, you will have to dig into sending Apple Events to iTunes manually. Or it might be easier to define your Apple Scripts as string resources in your application an execute them via a system() call.

  • Is it possible for Nexus7000 flexible netflow monitor for interfaces with different vrf and export to one netflow analyzer?

I have a Nexus 7000 with many vlan interfaces with multiple vrf, I would like to know if my netflow analyzer only connected to one vrf, can I use flexible netflow on the Nexus 7000 to monitor those vlan interfaces with multiple vrf and export them to my netflow analyzer, so that I can see all flow from different vrfs on my netflow analyzer?
    Thank you!

Adriano, there is a RV042G, which supports the gig ports and a 800 mbps nat throughput. Here is the datasheet

If you are using a DSL connection, the SRP527/547 models may be an alternative. These models support the RFC 1483 Bridges EOA Please note the SRP547 should be 10/100/1000. Also note the SRP521/541 are Fast Ethernet units and they do differ from the SRP527/547. The main selling point of these devices are the FXS/FXO ports. So this may also be a bit of an "unfocused" solution. But it's worth throwing the idea out there!
