Interfaces available in ECC6.0

Where can I get the consolidated informations regarding the Interfaces avaliable in ECC6.0 for BW, EP (Enterprise Portal) and Lotus Notes. These are supposed to be Plug-ins (Addons) till SAP 4.7E.

I want to know what are the standard objects or interfaces available in ECC 6.0 that are used for communicating between the applications (BW, Enterprise Portal and Lotus Notes).

Notes: If you´re talking about using a SAPGUI plugin to see your SAP workplace: it´s unsupported as of ERP 6.0

I face the some issue with you, I just run "Report/Report Launch Pad/Deivce/Interface Utilization"
and then I create a report for interface utilization.
But it display nothing when the report run finished.
I ask some guys in this forum, they said maybe it's a PI2.1 bug.

CiscoWorks LMS 4.0.1 - Interface Availability graph

Hello all,
I would have a question about CW LMS Monitoring Interface Availability Graph. When we change a Network Topology (for example I plug out a switch from a daisy chain and plug it in the distribution switch), the Interface Availability shows the original switch port as unavailable. After a big change, we have several interface notification on the diagram with red, but the devices are available - of course, we just changed the port where it is plugged in.
In what menu can I rediscover a devices, and why shows the CW the unused, old interfaces as 'down'?

sorry, no. I tried to set the unused interfaces to unmanaged state, in some cases it solved the problem. But this is not a really solution. I hope somebody has any other idea that helps us.

LMS 4.x Interface Availability

I have an issue where I want to remove an interface from a device on the network, but I can't get LMS to not show it as down on the monitoring dashboard under Interface Availability. I've removed the IP from the interface and put it in admin shutdown, but it continues to show up as down in the Interface Availability chart. I also tried setting it to false under DFM for monitoring, but that didn't work. What is the correct way to remove an interface that shows down under Interface Availability that isn't actually down due to an error? It has been days since I shut down the interface.

Thanks for the reply. So you are saying that setting the interface to false in DFM removes it from the Interface Availability report on the Monitor Dashboard for you? That would make since to me, but it is still there. I did remove and re-add a device the last time I saw this issue, but thought there has to be a better way. When setting to false under DFM didn't work, I thought maybe that was just for alert generation and not the Interface Availability dashboard widget. I hate having to reboot servers. It seems this one has to be rebooted too often to fix minor issues like this.

Change Interface availability threshold from Cisco Prime Infrastructure 2.0

Dear Community,
I’m working in Cisco Prime Infrastructure 2.0 and I’m having the following problem:
I want to monitor the interfaces availability from all the devices of my network. But only makes sense send an email notification for the most critical interfaces. I don´t want to receive an email notification every time anyone unplugs the network wire.
How can I achieve this?
I already tried to change the interface availability threshold from the Interface Health Threshold Template, but this one isn´t available to configure.
The idea was to change the severity of the alarm so I could distinguish what type of alarm would send email notification.
I also created a Custom SNMP Template that gets the ifOperStatus using the MIB IF-MIB. This also didn’t work because Prime Infrastructure doesn’t allow me to define thresholds to a Custom SNMP Template.
Without threshold, no alarm, without no alarm, no email notification!
Can you help?

Only on the HA pair which would be the secondary.
High Availability (HA) RTU: If Cisco Prime Infrastructure is deployed in a high availability configuration with one primary and one secondary instance in an HA pair, then an HA RTU is required. You only need to purchase a single set of the regular licenses (for example, Base, Lifecycle, and so on) for the primary instance.

In 4.6c system, alternate table for SRGBTBREL (available in ECC6)

In ECC6 we have SRGBTBREL which contains the relationship between business object and the documents attached (attached using Generic services for object --> Create Attachment) to it.\
But in SAP 4.6c the same table is not available.
Please suggest is there any other table similar to this which will give me the relationship.

Is there a better interface available for Oracle 10g Express?

Dear Experts
I just installed Oracle 10g Express for a trial to develop and Accounting ERP. Until now i have been using MS SQL Server 7.0 & 2000 on VB but now we are considering JAVA and want to get the feel of Oracle. My questions are as follows:
1. Is there a better inteface available other than the Internet Explorer?
2. Would a better interface be avaliable in other version of Oracle 10g?
3. Does Oracle have interface to create relationships graphically?
4. Is there documentation available for 10g in one bundle like the Sybase Adaptive server anywhere or MS Books online?
5. This is really an excellent forum and i have seen some of the answers and they are great.

As an Oracle DBA I've used this at client's sites when I can't pay for PL/SQL Developer to be installed, and it has quite a few useful things built into it. I think that it's going to see a boom in popularity now that Oracle came out with XE.

No inbound interface available in interface determination.

I am doing File to web service scenario. I have completed all the steps required in Integration Repository. But in Integration directory while doing interface determination, I am not able to locate my inbound interface. It is showing message No Object found.
I have checked interface mapping and in it I am using same outbound and inbound interface.
I would appreciate yours inputs.

Hi Sunil,
You must have chosen Inbound and Outbound Interface for Interface Mapping in the Integration repository.
Also, when you do you Interface Determintaion you must have chosen sender and receiver Interface. They have to be the same as described in the Integration repostiory for the Interface mapping to come up in ID.
Please can you activate your Interface mapping again and try importing it into ID

Order not available in ECC6.0 where as the same order is in SAP CRM?

I have come up with one issue as follows:
I have changed the sales order in SAP CRM and when i try to open the same document in ECC 6.0 in TCode:VA02,it is directing to logon screen with user ID and Password.When i input my logon details and enter , it is now directing to VA02 screen with error as " sales Document Cannot be blocked" and the error info shows as " document may be archived in CRM".
In VA03 ,i can access the order but in VA02 this problem is occurring.This only one order is having the problem and other orders i can access and change in VA02.
I would appreciate providing the solution.

Hi Succhi,
Since your document is changeable in CRM then report CRM_CHECK_DISTRIBUTION_STATUS wont fix in this case but just in case you need the report in the future you enter the object ID which you can get in table CRMD_ORDERADM_H and the transaction type. To update the status you uncheck the P_CHECK field as this just runs in test mode to see if the document status needs updating.
The orders have the status I1056 - transfer_failed. If the order have this status we don't delete the csl reference because the order can only changed in the crm system and should be not changed in the r/3 system. Does your document in CRM have this status? If there are no unprocessed queues then you can manually delete the CSL lock in ERP but this should only be an exception and not part of normal processing.

A requirement came to us for ORDER BOOK DATA WITH QUANTITES Report . for SD MODULE in BI.

here i has checked all the possibility with standard data sources but requirement is typical which out put will bw in four levels
1st level,2nd level ,third level and 4th level informations has to be provided.
when i check for the same level of information from the data sources this is stored in 5 data sources still one field like kbetr is not incuded.
These are the scenarios which i observed from the requirement.
any how i has asked abappers help in creating function module they are on process right now.

For EHP4 it would be.
BP_ERP5COM --> 1.41 (you should include this as well, because it corresponds with XSS Java Component PCUI_GP)
BP_ERP5ESS --> 1.41
BP_ERP5MSS --> 1.41
I am not entirely sure if the fact you use NW 7.3 influences the choice of BP Versions... Better let Siddarth confirm this.

Transporting BAPI from ECC5 to ECC6 - FM definition isn't avail at target

I have a BAPI developed in ECC5 System - ZBAPI_TEST, under a function group - ZFG_TEST within a package - ZPKG_TEST.
All these objects are assigned to the same TR number.
I have released, generated Co/Data Files and moved these TR (Co/Data Files) to ECC 6 System.
The associated structures are available in ECC6 System - where the Function Module name is present - BUT NO SOURCE CODE!!!
Is there any special rules we need to follow while transporting a BAPI from one system to other?

POS Interface with SAP

Hi,
We are currently using SAP ECC6.0, not on IS Retail.
As we have quite a few POS machines being used in the business, we would like to interface POS with ECC6.0.
Is there any third party tools available in the market for achieving this solution?

SAP offers regarding POS integration to IS Retail basically two options:
- POS DM (see http://wiki.scn.sap.com/wiki/pages/viewpage.action?pageId=113246846)
- classic POS interface direct in ECC (WPUBON/WPUFIB/WPUTAB IDoc's for POS transactions)
You want to interface directly in to a non IS Retail ECC system.
Question is what do you want to interface only financial postings or also goodsmovements?
How are the stores represented in SAP (customers/plants?)
The transaction logs (TLOG) info from the POS should be converted to a IDoc that will represent you functional needs on the ECC side.
For this mapping SAP offers SAP PO (proces orch), formally know as PI (or before that XI).
There are also several middleware solutions from third party vendors that can work with SAP.
In such a tool you have to map the TLOG to the desired IDoc you want to use in SAP.
(IDoc could also e replaced with a BAPI/RFC for instance).

Interface BC-ATT

I would like to integrate and certified my software that performs functional testing with SAP. Our product that interact with SAP UI and perform functional testing is not script base and store all test assets in SQL database.
From the list of all SAP supported certification interfaces i found only two interfaces under the category of 'Test Tool' are BC-ATT and BC-eCATT. The former interface fit exactly to our product description and can easily be supported by our product. But AP does not provide any more certification for this interface. The document on the web does not provide any replacing interface.
The other test tool interface, 'BC-eCATT' assumes script based testing tools and requires using eCATT to store and manage all test data (scripts) in SAP database. Since our software is not script based and can not store test data in SAP database, therefore we can not support this interface.
Is there any Certification interface available for test tool that does requires to store data in SAP database? Any help will be greatly appreciated.

I am pretty much in the same place you were a year ago. I have implemented the necessary RFC server and the the functions, but when I try to print using the OMS I get the error (OMS server ON or OFF):
Status: Incorrect (Failed to connect to host spooler)
Info: FUNCTION: 'RfcExecProgram' #Win32 error 5: Access is denied.## (exception open connection failed).
The log says: Failed to connect top host spool. Error rfc submit not supported.
I think it's a problem with my SAP configuration. This error has occured for both R/3 4.7 and ECC6 systems, both running on Windows 2003 server. Running the OMS_STATUS in SE38 using the OMS server as target worked fine and running Rfcexec.exe myself also seems to work.
If you have any information you can share it will be really helpful.
