Intermediate BDoC State
Folks,
What does the BDoC state description of "After qRFC step (Intermediate state) mean ? Where exactly is it in the process of date exchange ? Can anyone provide some answers, I would apprecaite it.
Fasi
Hi,
I03 - After qRFC step (intermediate state) . This means the data
is extracted from the queue for the outbound processing and the
data no longer exist in the queue.
--> take a look in note 778354 for further information.
The problems is probably cause by a short-dump: check out ST22.
Grtz,
Michael.

Bdoc state - Received (intermediate state)
Hi experts,
Can you please help me with this. We've just found out that we have several bdocs with state "Received (intermediate state)" in middleware. They said that if these are in this state for quite some time, we need to reprocess it to prevent any future problems. When I choose one and click on Show Bdoc Msg Errors/Receivers, it only says "No receivers or error segments for Bdoc message found."
Can you please let us know how to clear these? I'm providing below two bdocs on these state that may help you understand the problem.
1.
Bdoc state description: Received (intermediate state)
Bdoc type: BUPA_REL
Flow context description: mBdoc Validate
Send date: 01.09.2010
Send time: 19:01:06
Sender site name: (This is our ECC box)
Queue name: R3AD_CUSTOMExxxxxxxxxx (x > customer number)
User (Creator): MWRFCXXX (x > our ECC box)
2.
Bdoc state description: Received (intermediate state)
Bdoc type: CND_M_SUP
Flow context description: mBdoc Validate
Send date: 09.02.2011
Send time: 15:43:04
Sender site name: (This is our ECC box)
Queue name: R3AD_DNL_COND_A594
User (Creator): MWRFCXXX (x > our ECC box)
Hope you can help us here. Thanks a lot!
Kind regards,
MikeHi,
Go to transaction R3AR3,Are all your requests still there.IS there any queue stuck in smq2 and SMQ1.If there is nothing stuck in SMQ1 or SMQ2,then i think for you Bdoc type BUPA_REL,for all those queues in intermediate state there is no number found for the range which you used to create request for Partner relationship.

How to reprocess BDOCs state O01 Sent to receivers not all have confirmed,
Dear CRM experts;
we are replicating contact persons from CRM 5.0 to ECC, the BUPA_REL BDOCs have state O01 sent to receivers, not all have confirmed, does any one have any idea on how to process thess BDOCs!! Many thanks in advance for your help!!Hi Laura,
This message means that the recieving system is not sending you back any acknoledgement (message). There could be some error. You will have to rectify that.
Check the RFC user and connection in R/3 Backend. Check is there are any short dumps or other error indicators on the receiving system. Check the whole loop - outbound qRFC queue in CRM, short dump or update termination in R/3, outbound qRFC queue in R/3 and inbound qRFC queue in CRM for the created delta download.
Select BDoc Message (in SMW01) , go to u2018Receiversu2019, Status: Sent.
Check the inbound Queues from R/3 Backend system (R3AD*), check if they are registered and if they are failing for any reason.

Bdoc State: partially send, receivers have errors
Hi,
we have tried to change/edit the BP in CRM, which is created and downloaded from ECC.
after the changes have been made, we have saved the BP, but it didn't get replicated in ECC and for the same BP a below Bdoc error has raised.
BDOC Type : BUPA_MAIN
Error: Business partner 0000300000 does not exist as customer, change not possible.
But BP created as a referance customer in ECC. not understanding why system info telling does not as exixt as customer.
Please any help us in replicating this BP to ECC customer.
Thanks,
adiHi Adi,
I'd suggest you go through the sap note : 757955 and see if the relevant entries for the CRMIN and CRMOU events are present . Also, if you use your own your own z modules please run the report mentioned in the note. ALso, make sure your ettings in PIDE on the R/3 side are correct.
I hope that helps,

Complaint replication issue - BDOC State: ERP Adapter call/No Upload to ERP
Hi,
When creating the complaint as an individual document it replicates to the ECC system without fail. But once I create it as a followup of an interaction record it does not replicate.
It is probably because even the interaction record (ZINR) creates BDOC upon save (which is not required, I dont know how to stop BDOC creation from an interaction record). SMW01 results show that ZINR also has the same BDOC errors: ERP Adapter called and No Upload into ERP.
Can anyone explain how to overcome this either by stopping BDOC creation from ZINR or replicating complaint regardless if ZINR was replicated or not.Hi jacob,
Intially it is doing well which is a Initial Load. Then Comes to Delta Loads. So try to handle everything in the Middleware Mapping Function Modules in R3AC1.
Try to create a ZFunction Module in the Respective Object in R3AC1 and if you go into the Details of that particular Object you will see a Tab Control with different tabs, Among them Select the CRM to R/3 Mapping Function Function Modules or R/3 to CRM Mapping Function Modules depends on your requirement and add a ZFunction Module there and break the Code.
So Every time the BDOC is created it will stop there when you try to process the Inbound or Outbound Queue in the Debugging mode. You can do this in SMQ1 and SMQ2 and DB click on the entry of your queue and Click on LUW Debugging. So that it will stop at the Z Function added in R3AC1.
So here you will find an entry if it is a Initial Load the structure fielf Initial Load will be 'X' if it s Delta load structure field with Delata Loads = 'X' or 'D' (Not sure) but there will be a indication for Initial and Delta Loads for sure.
Hope this helps -

BDoc Intermediate State - CRM2007
Hi everyone
I have Bdocs thats in Received (intermediate state)
BDoc Type: BUPA_MAIN,
Flow Contect Description: mBDoc Validate
Sender Site Name: OLTP
Queue Name shows R3AD_CUSTOME.........
User: CRMUSER ( batch )
When I try to reprocess these Bdocs , I get a runtime error " CALL_FUNCTION_PARM_MISSING
" It seems as if though I need to maintain a parameter under one of my Z function modules
This I can fix
But why am I getting these Bdocs in this state? Seems like all BDocs coming from R3 doing this. This is only happening in our production system
Inbound and oubound queues are cleared
Please advice
regards
ManieHi Manie,
How these intermediate BDocs are getting created?
Are you triggering any type of load(delta, initial or request)?Or they are coming down due to delta flow
from R/3 automatically?
Does these BDocs contain data or they are empty?
Which version of CRM ,you are using?
Thanks and Best Regards,

Is there any to recover CRM service ticket from BDOCs
Dear SDN team,
Some service tickets were deleted from our CRM system when I was re-processing BUS_TRANS_MSG type of BDOCs. Right now these BDOCs are kept in our CRM system in "Not Final" / "Intermediate State". The BDoc State Description is "After qRFC step(intermediate state)".
Is there any way to recover these deleted service tickets from BDOCs ?
Thanks,
Shirley
Edited by: shirley ren on Sep 4, 2010 5:07 PMHi,
Can you let me know how the Service Tickets got deleted when you reprocessed the BDOCs? Did you deleted those BDOC's? I created a Sales Order in my system and tried reproducing the same scenario. But, Re-Processing wasn't deleting the Sales Orders. You can still navigate to the Service Tickets by double clicking on them and then you can see them in the Classic and Bdoc Ext. data.
I will also try to replicate the scenario. But let me know if you come across any more details. Also, any one order document should not be deleted from the system. It should be archived and then can be deleted after a long time. So, you can also check out with the basis consultant as to get these archiving strategy. Then you can retrieved these lost documents.
Hope this helps.
Thanks,

Hi guys
I have a problem whereby all newly created transactions and BP's are displaying queing in SMQ2
I had a look at SMQR - Queues R3A* and CSA* activated
Bdoc State shows I02 ( Intermediate State ) for all my Bdcos,
Bdoc type is bus_trans_msg
Queue Name csa_order*
Im able to re reprocess these Bdcos successfully, I need to know what is causing this?
Seems like this has been happining since support pack upgrade
RaviDear Ravi,
IF the queues are in STOP status, it means that they have got an explicit lock in there. So you need to release the lock from the transaction SMQ2, and activate the queues and I am sure these will get processed.
You may also see a Generic queue, like MASS* which would also be in STOP status, so before you activate the queues individually first you need to release the lock from the generic queue.

BDOC Stored before update task error
Hi Experts,
I am using FM CRMXIF_PRODUCT_MATERIAL_SAVE to update one of the custom aatributes in COMMPR01.
once i run this FM i see an entry of bdoc in SMw01 with the below error
"BDOC stored before update task(intermediate state).
I checked ST22 and i saw no dumps, i checked Sm13 and i didnt see any update tasks. Cananyone help me?
Thanks!HI Divya,
BDoc Message was not written to qRFC queue, yet. Search for update tasks in transaction
SM13. The sender creates a BDoc message to post data to the receivers. The application
calls the messaging flow.
Detection:
Check if there are any update terminations which occurred in the update task
by using transaction SM13. Check if there are inbound messages related to
that outbound message, double-click u2018Original BDocu2019 field to display the
original inbound message. Typically the inbound message (s-BDoc in flow
context SI1 or m-BDoc in flow context MI0) is already on a final state F02, i.e.
the validation was successful but the asynchronous update failed. The
original inbound message in final state might have been already reorganized.
Solution:
Solve the problem with the open update tasks and then execute them again
in SM13. Check whether after succesful reexecution in SM13 the BDoc state
has been changed.
If not, or if you donu2019t find any open updates, but you do find a corresponding
original message, proceed as following:
· Variant 1: Try to reprocess the inbound message to check if the newly
created outbound message has also status I04. If BDoc is processed, no
retry of the failed BDoc is allowed. Set the message as deleted.
Reprocessing the related inbound message is sometimes not possible,
because the state is final. In this case copy the inbound message using
transaction SMW19 and set the new state of the copied message to I01.
Then you can reprocess it.
· Variant 2: Use the solution from SAP notes 876855 (CRM 3.X) or 835761
(CRM 4.0) to convert the inbound s-BDoc into an error state E09.
Advantage is, that in this state the inbound message does not get
reorganized. More important, it also allows you to restart the inbound
processing after the error situation has been resolved. However, in that
case you need to delete the already pending update tasks from the
previous run in transaction SM13.
When there are no open update tasks anymore, check whether the data
changes according to the inbound BDoc message have actually been posted
to the CRM online application tables. If the changes are present (i.e. a new
application object was succesfully created), you should not use variant 2,
because you might get a problem of posting the same data again (i.e. getting
an "insert duplicate record" situation).

Hi Experts
Daily we have BDOCS with Bdoc state description "Mapping error" and following errormessage "Processing of document with Guid DEE4C70ABC20D1F18A4900101825B820 is canceled" and " Validation error occurred: Module CRM_DOWNLOAD_BTMBDOC_VAL, BDoc type BUS_TRANS_MSG.
When we reproces the Bdoc it works and the error dissapears.
The errormessage is not very informative so we don't know what the original error is and we would like to avoid the reprocessing of the BDOCS.
Do you know the rootcause and how to avoid these errors?
best regards
Jørgen JensenPlease check the following OSS note and implement the corrections that are suggested.

Hi Middleware experts,
I'm clearing bdoc errors today. Can you please help me clear these two errors? Details are provided below:
1.
Bdoc State Description: Bdoc validation error
Bdoc Type: PRODUCT_MAT
Flow Context Description: mBdoc Validate
Error message:
GTIN xxxxxxxxxxxxxx (IT) has already been assigned
You are not authorized to set status 'To archive'
Validation error occurred: Module COM_PRODUCT_MAT_VALIDATE, BDoc type PRODUCT_MAT.
2.
Bdoc State Description: Mapping error
Bdoc Type: PRODUCT_MAT
Flow Context Description:
Error message:
Category for product hierarchy xxxxxxxxxx does not exist
Hope to hear something from you.
Thanks and Regards,
MikeYes Mike,
You first do the request download for one product for which the BDOC shows category related error to just see if that comes through fine. I have seen similar error in my scenario on a product category which had been in CRM from quite a long time (may be since beginning), but when I ran the request download for that product, it worked well. Similar could happen for you as well.
If that does not work, then you run the product category download.

How do I force all Tabs to the right hand side, leaving space on the left?
It feels more intuitive to have the first tab against the right hand side and it's easier to find because it always remains in the same position when, eg, closing other tabs. I use TabMixPlus, but can't find the required option. Many thanks.
