Intermittent wifi issues has already been replaced once
This is my 2nd IPad 3 as I had wifi problems with the 1st one
It's has been happening again
It happens connected to other wifi not just my home one
My dad has an iPad 3 and never had a problem
I never had problems with the iPad 2
I just want to be able to watch a program without having to switch the wifi off & on to get it working again
I have reset settings & deleted the cookies but didn't help

Additional things to try.
Try this first. Turn Off your iPad. Then turn Off (disconnect power cord for 30 seconds or longer) the wireless router & then back On. Now boot your iPad. Hopefully it will see the WiFi.
Go to Settings>Wi-Fi and turn Off. Then while at Settings>Wi-Fi, turn back On and chose a Network.

Another thing to try - Go into your router security settings and change from WEP to WPA with AES.

Note - When troubleshooting wifi connection problems, don't hold your iPad by hand. There have been a few reports that holding the iPad by hand, seems to attenuate the wifi signal.

I got my Mac Book Pro repaired in late July of this year. The repair summary says that they replaced the display claim shell, glossy (item number 620-5153). I believe this was due to a clouding on my screen. However, they also replaced the top case with keyboard (item number 605-2953) and the track pad (605-2712). When I took it in I was having problems with the track pad. It would not respond to touch. Wouldn't follow my figure movements, ect. The guy at the Apple Store took it in the back and opened it up. He said it looked like there may be water damage because there was gooey stuff by the battery, so in that case the warranty would be void. I told him that I was 100% certain that no water ever got on it and that if there is gooey stuff in side my macbook that there must be a battery leaking issue. He said that they would have to send it in and the people at the repair center would determine if it had been water damaged or not.
Well, they sent it in to the repair center in Florida (leaving me with out a computer for a week at summer school) and they made the before mentioned repairs. They never asked me questions or anything so I am assuming that meant they rightfully determined there was no water damage.
Aside from some wireless issues the Mac Book had been working okay until tonight. I was typing a paper and all of a sudden the track pad problem came back tonight. I tired to use the computer with the broken trackpad for about 45 minuets but then gave up because it was impossible to use. I shut off the computer and left it off for a good 3 hours before plugging it back in and turning it on. (I tried turning the computer off and then back on again when the problem first occurred and that did not help). I have noticed recently (like the past week) that sometimes it gets way louder then it used to and the last couple of it will randomly will turn off when it still has battery left. Also, ever since I got my mac book pro back from the repair center Microsoft Word crashes once every 2ish days, but I am unsure if that is related to the current issue.
As I am typing this the touch pad is getting touchy again :(. And as I type it is randomly switching lines so I think the touch pad is being extra sensitive now, Im not sure. Anyway does anyone have any advice? I am in my first year of law school and I NEED MY COMPUTER. It is not an option not to have one for a few days and if I absolutely have to give it to apple I will be forced to buy a cheap computer from Walmart to use in the mean time (Which I REALLY cannot afford).
I am assuming it is the battery pushing of the trackpad or something. Is this correct? I have an appointment with Apple tomorrow but since it is somewhat functioning right now I am unsure of if I should go or not. The store is 45 minuets away and I need it during class each day. But exams are in a month and I cant have it break during those.
I really do not see why Apple would not have replaced the battery when I first brought it in. I identified it as an issue; I am sure someone who works on these computers all day long could have seen it was an issue too. At least, if my assumption that that is the problem is correct. Would getting a mouse that plugs into the USB fix my problems? Or would Apple be willing to just give me a replacement computer since this is the second time this has happened in 2 months and their 1st repair didn’t help? Every time you close a document, it is updated on the Dropbox servers (encrypted), if it is in the Dropbox folder (assuming you give it a few seconds to update before turning off your computer). Do a google search of "Cloud based storage comparisons" to compare the amount of free space each of the competing services give you.

Cannot download purchase - enter code has already been used
I purchased a six book set of audiobooks which I cannot download. When I proceed to the link emailed to me by Apple, the enter code page has my code entered in the box with a red message beneath that says, "Code has already been used once." I can proceed no further. Nothing has been downloaded and I have written iTunes support three times. Eleven days have passed since I made my purchase and I have received no confirmation of the resolution of this problem from iTunes. The books appear in my Apple account order history but do not appear in my iTunes account purchase history. HELP! I am so frustrated! I feel like I have thrown $300 out the window.
Just to confirm, what "iTunes Support" are you referring to? Did you use the form at the bottom of this web page (or one like it elsewhere on the iTMS Customer Support pages)?

The message is correct. You can only register a product once... there is no need to register again after you do it the first time. You can re-install and activate with the serial number, but there is no need to re-register.

Hi there,
I recently had the following situation, where I changed the source of my CSV file in Power Query.
Once I had reloaded the file, it would then not load into Power Pivot. So I disabled the loading from Power Query into Power Pivot. I then enabled the loading to the Data Model. Which then successfully loaded the data into Power Pivot.
But once I went into Power Pivot, had a look, then saved the Excel file. Once saved I closed the Excel file. I then opened the Excel file again and all the sheets that interact with the Power Pivot data work fine.
But if I go and open Power Pivot I get the following error: Unable to load the tables in the Power Pivot Window – An Item with the Same Key has already been added.

I would assume that the issue is with the synonyms and for some reason, when I disabled the loading of my data into the Power Pivot Model, it did not remove the associations to the actual table and synonyms.
If I renamed the table in Power Pivot it all works fine. So that was my work around. Fortunately I did have a copy of the Excel workbook before I made this change. So I could then go and add back in all the relevant data to my table.
Has anyone had this before and know how to fix it?

'Connection has already been closed'. Random error connecting with a pool
Hi all,
I've got a problem I cannot solve, and really hope in someone's help...
The fact is: I'm working on a webapp which doesn't made use of frameworks or patterns or similars. I introduced the DAO pattern in order to organize and speed up the work. At the core of the new classes there is the DBDAO, and this is the way it obtains the connection:

Every new class that needs to access the db extends DBDAO and retrieves the conn with this method. In order to make things work without changing all the code, I modified the old class named 'Connessione' and made it extend DBDAO. Here is its method:

That's all. Finished with the code.
Now, if someone uses the new classes extending DBDAO, all goes well. But for some old function that still work with Connessione.getConnessione(), connection closes suddenly with no reason.

That is, the conn is closed while used to populate the combo box. I don't understand who closes it.
Moreover, that happens randomly: 1 or 2 times over 4 hits on the page. The other times, all goes well. Most of the other pages, all goes well. So I don't think I have to search for a bug in the code.
Now, I'm working with BEA WL 8.1 sp 5 and Oracle 9.2.0.1.0 .
The error turns out even if I work locally (with Tomcat 5.5.23).
The webapp made use of a custom driver beforehand, and I replaced it with oracle's driver.
I tried to set the Connection Pool with oracle.jdbc.driver.OracleDriver and oracle.jdbc.OracleDriver .
I left the default for the connection pool, and then tried to set (BEA):
Connection Reserve Timeout: -1
Test Created Connections: On
with no changes.
The connection suddenly and randomly closes.
Any help would be appreciated...
Many thanksthe thing that you are instantiating isn't a Connection object, it's a Connessione object. That's returning one that's either been stashed from a previous call, or
acquires one from the data sourcea new Connessione object means a call to getConnection that means a new Connection object. That code is synchronized, it has to be a new object.
It is entirely possible that conn is not null if other actions have taken place in your constructor. Even assuming it is null, we don't know anything about the
connection pool you're trying to use, though it looks like it's probably weblogic's one.The contructor doesn't know of the connection. As for the pool, it is weblogic's one.
And even assuming both of these cases, we have no particular reason to believe that you're calling the getConnessione() method instead of accidentally calling
getConnection() and thus no reason to believe that you're definitely carrying out the actions that you believe you're carrying out.I wrote that the problem comes out in the old code that once worked fine. That code only uses Connessione.getConnessione() .
Conversely we have an error message that says you're closing connections elsewhere. Clearly there's a bug. It's presumably in your assumptions. You're
arguing instead of checking them.If I have a wrapper logging the close() calls, I have to see every call logged. Even if there's a bug (but remember that the code worked fine with a previous custom datasource), why do you think I shouldn't see that close() logged?
I may be wrong, but I already searched in that code. I'm arguing after all the checks.
There is no other thread that can see that connHow do you know? I have that Connessione.getConnessione() in a jsp. It's synchronized. That gives a new connection. I see it passed only to an utility class that queries the db and reads the resultset.
Who do you think can access that connection? -

We are running WLS 5.1 sp7 on an NT box.
Our application consists of jsp pages with <jsp:include...>, servlets
and stateful/stateless beans. The only class that actually performs a
forward is a servlet that serves as a dispatcher. We are getting from
time to time an IllegalStateException - response has already been
commited exception. This phenomena is irregular and non reproducable.
Does anybody know if this has anything to do with a certain
configuration issue? Has anyone encountered a similar problem?
Is there a known workaround?
Any help would be highly appreciated.

You are getting the illegal state exception because somewhere between the
intercept of the request by a jsp/servlet and your
requestDispatcher.forward(request, response), a class along the way is
calling either the getInputStream() method or the getReader() method of
javax.servlet.ServletRequest. Once you call either of these methods to
read from the ServletInputStream() you may not be able to do a forward.
I am having the same problem see my post from today. I have no idea how
to get around it but I have an identical exception in wl6.0sp1 and that
is the cause and I have never seen anything like it.

Method "GET_CHANGE_HISTORY" has already been declared
During the "EXECUTION OF REPORTS AFTER PUT" phase in a SAINT upgrade to ERP 6.0 EHP 3 (on the way to EHP 4), we got a TP_STEP_FAILURE error. After digging through the logs, the underlying cause seems to be a syntax error in CL_WER_EXP_METHOD_CALL that was stopping the program RDDEXECL. The error message is "Method "GET_CHANGE_HISTORY" has already been declared". We can run a check of the class in the ABAP Editor, which gives the above error message, but there does not appear to be a way to edit the class through the ABAP Editor (Change/Display button is grayed out), and we wouldn't know what to do even if we could. We are using a 32-bit RHEL4 system. Any advice would be appreciated.
We managed to implement the note. In order to get around the "modification/enhancement mode" error, we clicked "Check" with the alias selected, and it showed the "has already been declared" message. We double-clicked the message and deleted the lines about GET_CHANGE_HISTORY, then clicked Save and it asked us if we wanted to delete the alias. We did that for all six classes (without activating any of them--this caused errors), and then, after all the aliases had been deleted, activated all of them at once. To do that, we went to the main screen of SE24, entered one of the classes, hit activate, and clicked on "Entire Workspace" or some such button, then selected all of the components and activated. Now SAINT is running past the point it had stopped before, so I believe this issue has been resolved. Thanks, Peter! I will award you some points.

Looking at the ULS logs, I find the following:

Anyone encounter anything like this during their search upgrade process? I'm not honestly even sure what duplicate value to look for at this point, if I were to run a SELECT Id, ClassId, ParentId, Name, Status, Version, Properties FROM Objects on

You can enable the ULS log on verbose level (note, remember to reset to default level after finished troubleshooting) for more information per the following article, then check there should be more useful message for helping solve the issue.

When configuring a new Unity Voicemail Account I receive this message : The phone number or extension has already been assigned to some other object. I understand that this means that the 10 digit number I am trying to configure as the alternate extension for this user is already configured for another object with Unity.
I need to search by the 10 digit number and determine where it is configured so I can change it and map to the correct end user.
I have attempted to to search Users via DTMF Access ID using the 10 digit number with nothing being returned via that search.
How do I Search all of the copnfigured Alternate Extensions within our Unity Server?A subscriber info dump is likely the fastest way. If you're curious regarding other methods, you can also use the Data Link Explorer (CUDLE) tool which is in the Cisco Unity Tools Depot. All extensions for all objects are referenced in the "DTMFAccessId" table. The View menu has a Query Builder which you can use to compile a SQL query that searches for a digit string. It's best to search for both the 10 digit string as well as an abbreviated string as Unity sees them essentially the same and they are usually should be associated with a single subscriber. Once you find a match, you can use the "ParentObjectId" value associated with the DTMF access ID to look for a matching owner in the "GlobalSubscriber" table. The ParentObjectId should match the SubscriberObjectId for a subscriber (assuming the DTMF access ID is assigned to a subscriber). This is the same thing as looking at SQL; however, you are not directly accessing the DB so this is generally considered the safest way to browse and get a feel for where things are.
