Internal Asseit used in Production
hi all & very good morning.
we have several projects in our plant. we are working on PS and PP modules. running on make to order : Project scenario.
we are using some of internal assets to help out in production process. like fork lift, over head cranes, trailors. i would like to include cost of these assets in production process and so it will automatically add in Projects.
so please help me out how to map these assets in production ?
can anybody have a answer ?

Goods Issue Internal Order using MIGO
Dear All,
I want to do Goods Issue Internal Order using MIGO, but then an error message popup says
"Order xxx not found or not permitted for goods movement"
When i do the Goods Issue using MB1A, the transaction run well,
So why MIGO transaction cannot run this transaction?
Any one who can help to resolve this problem?

Go to MB1A, enter Mvt type 261, Plant and S.loc.
Don't click on order tab from the initial screen. This field is for "Production Order" Not for internal order.
Then in the second screen on account assignment data, give your Internal Order number and enter the data and post the document.
Or else, In mIGO, Goods Issue- Others.
Check the configuration for the Order type in transaction code KOT2_OPA.
Order Category should be 01
If order belongs to order category 30,system will not allow to do the direct posting through MB1A.
OR else try to create a reservation for these materials with movement type 261 and then do a goods issue for that reservation.

If you have added the field Internal order in the Asset Master as a statistical order and you want your depreciation
posted not only to the cost center but also to this order.
In transaction OAYR in the IMG you define how depreciation posts to the depreciation posting rules - there is a CO assignment box where you have to tick both cost centers and internal orders.
What is internal order? Explain with example and how it is related to cost center.
An internal order is used to accumulate cost for a specific project or task for a specific time period. An internal order is therefore used for a short period with a specific deadline.
Your internal order will usually settle to cost centers (and not visa versa) according to the settlement rule in the order setup.
An internal order can therefore be used to group all the expenses incurred to plan and hold a conference over a 3 month period. The order can be settled on a monthly basis to cost centers. When the conference is finished the order can be settled finally. The cost of the conference will then be spread over 2 or more cost centers, but can be viewed in total on the internal order when needed.
Internal Orders - It is an instrument used to monitor costs and, in some instances, the revenues of an organization.
Uses of Internal orders
Monitoring the costs of short-term jobs
Monitoring the costs and revenues of a specific service
On going cost control
Internal order categories
Overhead Orders
Investment Orders
Accrual Orders
Orders with revenue
Cost centers are not for specific job. e.g If you have open Trade-fair / exhibition (1 month period), then to allocate cost, you can use Internal Orders (Say IO) you can post to IO, and from their to various cost centers. If management were to ask you the cost of that exhibition, Internal Order will help you
Cost center is a responsible center in SAP. It cannot be defined as statistical but in transactions it may become as per other co objects.You will be able to find out the performance of the cost center using activities and plan values with actual value. This is lowest cost object in SAP. This will become a statistical object when you allocate the cost to other higher objects. Cost can be allocated to other cost centers or co objects but not fi objects like GL,assets, inventory etc. can be defaulted in transactions through cost element. It cannot be a cost object for a revenue element, revenues are always taken for other higher CO objects. No budget functionality is available but planning functionality is available and is always measured for a year in business.
Internal order is the second CO object - which can be defined as statistical or real. You will be able to define Budget and planning figures - more than one year also. Can control the postings of FI through budget controls. You can have the report of Plan vs actual including commitment. Cost cannot be allocated but settled through settlement rules and profiles. The receiver of the values can be any object not like Cost center - can be CO objects and FI objects. Ideal for R&D expenses capitalizations, etc. Status profile is linked to this which controls many individual transactions in each status which is a part of this Internal order. It can also receive postings of activities from Cost center. Settlement profile is an wonderful tool for variety of settlement - needed for FI and CO - legal requirements also and Revenue requirements also for any country.
All SAP CO orders like Production order, Plant maintenance order, etc will behave like Internal order with more functionalities.

An instrument used to monitor costs and, in some instances, the revenues of an organization.
Internal orders can be used for the following purposes:
Monitoring the costs of short-term jobs
Monitoring the costs and revenues of a specific service
Ongoing cost control
Internal orders are divided into the following categories:
Overhead orders - For short-term monitoring of the indirect costs arising from jobs. They can also be used for continuous monitoring of subareas of indirect costs. Overhead orders can collect plan and actual costs independently of organizational cost center structures and business processes, enabling continuous cost control in the enterprise.
Investment orders - Monitor investment costs that can be capitalized and settled to fixed assets.
Accrual orders - Monitor period-based accrual between expenses posted in Financial Accounting and accrual costs in Controlling.
Orders with revenues - Monitor the costs and revenues arising from activities for partners outside the organization, or from activities not belonging to the core business of the organization.

Different internal subnets use differnet specific public IPs
My question does not seem to fit into any sub-forum category. This seemed to be the closest one.
Netware 6.5 SP8. I have 13 public IPs from my ISP. I would like to have all internet traffic from an internal subnet use a specific public IP and have a different internal subnet use a different public IP. I am thinking dynamic NAT, but how would I configure this to work the way I want? I currently have dynamic NAT configured on one public IP with the other publics as secondaries and then have static NAT configured.

This would require two servers AFAIK.

So I have been a longtime Adobe customer. I have nearly every version of the creative suites, with all the bells and whistles and have spent thousands and thousands of dollars on these products for our business as well as personal use. SO.....we just upgraded the OS on our primary editing bay, and I found that I needed to reinstall the Premiere Pro 5.5 upgrade to the system that I purchased online a couple years back. I go to access my online account, and it said that I needed to reset the password, but the problem is that the email that was used is not turned off and I have no way to access.
Thinking that this was not a big deal, I contacted support via the chat system. The first person told me he could not help at that time, and while asking a follow up question he (or she) cutoff the chat. I immediately started another chat. The next agent stayed on, but also said that they could not anything, but they would escalate it to the next group up, and that they would transfer the account to my current email address. That was nearly 3 weeks ago.
I have since received emails nearly daily apologizing for the delay (a form letter) in resolution. Then I got another email saying I needed to write a letter saying what I wanted, and that should take care the problem. So....I did. Then I got another email.....this time saying that the letter was not enough, and that I would have to add a scanned image to the letter of my government issued ID. I replied, indicating my patience has run out after 3 weeks, but sent the letter again as requested. And guess what??? Today I get another email with an apology, and that it would be escalated to another group to see if they could do it.
This is not acceptable in any way. I have to get my keys to the 5.5 upgrade as its using the trial version right now since I can't login to get my keys....and NO ONE AT ADOBE IS ABLE TO DO A THING ABOUT IT. How hard is it to change the access email to ones account, or have it transferred to the new one. (I had to sign up for a new account with the correct email just to post on the forums).
SO PLEASE.....if there is a competent person left there, that can take care of this problem please do. I just need my purchases attached to this account!!!! . I will have no choice but to start seeking a legal remedy within the next 48 hours is not resolved. I have a project that has to be completed, and due to this incompetence I can't use a product I have already paid for. It should never take nearly 3 weeks for this to be resolved.Thanks Steve, I appreciate any help that can be provided. I’ve tried to be patient but after getting yet another Friday saying the exact same thing about it being escalated to the right group (which is the same email I’ve gotten day after day for 3 weeks) I have had enough. Clearly whomever is handling the general customer service, in whatever country they are in really do not care or even have a process to follow. They just clear their cue apparently so that they make their personal numbers. (I was formerly a tech support manager for one of the large PC and peripherals producer....so I am familiar with some of these antics, though we would have fired someone for something like this). Given how much I have paid to Adobe for their products over the past ten years as a business owner it a shame that this is not getting resolved.

How to use Multiple Product Hierarchies in Shopping Cart creation
Dear SRM Experts,
We have an issue in using multiple Product Hierarchies while creating a shopping cart. Need your help to resolve this.
Our SRM system is integrated with 2 ERP back-end systems. In material replication we have created 2 hierarchies for different ERPs and their product categories are stored in respective hierachies.
Example:
EBPMATCLAS is for ERP1
EBPSERVCAT is for ERP2
Now when I create shopping cart, it allows only those products which are part of EBPMATCLAS because of below configuration..
We cant configure multiple hierarchies for purchasing so we are not able to use both Hierarchies simultaneously.
Request you to help with the possible solution to use multiple hierarchies.

You not need to create 2 hierarchy ID. Inside the R3MATCLASS you can see the reference with both banckends.
Ex:

Apple has the best devices and software in today's ICT scape. Sadly, people in my University hardly use them. For some time now I have been teaching and sensitizing members of my university community, mostly professors and lecturers to use Apple devices to ease teaching, learning and personal activities. I have been able to get a good number people hereto buy and use Apple products, especially mobile devices. I'll need hardcopy catalogues, manuals and poster to enable get more effective as they is no Apple shop or dealer anywhere near.
How can I get these items?

Using one public ip for ssh`ing to different internal servers using port-redirections
Hi, we are having a requirement to use the same public IP to ssh into different internal servers using port re-direction. So lets say from outside, if a user does ssh @ root 4.4.4.4 2222, it should go to a sshsrv1 and then ssh @ root 4.4.4.4 2223 to sshsrv2
My config is like this:-
object network sshsrv1
host 10.110.100.10
nat (inside,Outside) static 4.4.4.4 service tcp 22 2222
And then i allowed the object "sshsrv1" in my inbound acl from outside.
It dosen`t seem to work. Is this doeable?

Would need to see your NAT configurations.
There is a possibility that you have a NAT configuration that might be preventing this from working. Then again you are using an extra public IP address for this so it seems strange.
Could you try the "packet-tracer" command
packet-tracer input outside tcp 12345 2222
This should tell us if there is some problem in the ASA configurations.
