When i am running TDS remittance challan in T.code J1inchln not generating internal challan for two documents were not updated , give me solution, it is very urgent.
No unpaid tax lines exist for the given selection criteria.
Message no. 8I702
Diagnosis
The corresponding withholding tax line &1& is not present in WITH_ITEM table.
System Response
For withholding tax recovered from the vendor, tax line is present in table BSIS, but the corresponding entry is missing in table WITH_ITEM , which is necessary for challan updation. Check the entries.
Procedure
check entries in table WITH_ITEM for the open tax items chosen for clearing.

This Challan number updates basically depending up on these parametes
At the time of posting the Invoice you need to maintain The Business Place and Section Code . If you donot give this you would always get the error mistake of "line &1& is not present in WITH_ITEM table". Because in this posting the the 1st line item is vendor you need to give these input for this line item.
Second whether you have maintained the
J_1IEWTNUMGR     Number Groups For Internal Challan Numbers- EWT India.
J_1IEWTNUMGR_1     Number Groups For Internal Challan Numbers-EWT India:
SECCO
J_1IEWTNUMGR_N     Number Groups For Internal Challan Numbers-EWT India:SECCO
Ans also you need to maintain numbe interval for the number ranges.
If you maintain these your problem will be solved.
Please donot change any settings of the receiver types at the time of posting or at the time of generating the challan( Company or Others"

During "create remittance challan" i.e. J1INCHLC, payment entry is posted as TCS Dr and Bank Cr , but internal challan number is not generated..
We have mapped the same process for TDS and internal challan number is generated...
Number range is also well maintained..

You will have to maintain number groups & number ranges for TDS challan .PLease follow below pathe to complete the config;
Financial Accounting (New) --> Financial Accounting Global Settings (New) --> Withholding Tax --> Extended Withholding Tax --> Posting --> India --> Remittance Challans.
Please configure all the steps under Remittance Challan Node.
This will solve ur problem.

The blue indicator in system audio panel will appear for a second as I slide the bar for internal mic but then it disappears. Is there a fix?

The sound seems very faint but can here static on playback.

Update databse from internal table statement not using index

Hi Guys,
We are updating a databse table from a file. The file has a couple of fields which have data different from what the database has (non-primary fields :). We upload the file data into an internal table and then update the database table from internal table. At a time, internal table is supposed to have 10,000 records. I did SQL trace and found that the update statement is not making use of the databse index.
Should not the update statement here be using the table index (for primary key)?

... as often there are recommendations in this forum which makes me wonder, how people overestimate their knowledge!!!
Updates and Deletes do of course use indexes, as can be seen in the SQL Trace (use explain).
Inserts don't use indexes, because in many databases inserts are just done somewhere, But also with the INSERT, the primary key is the constraint for the uniqueness condition, duplicate keys are not allowed.
Coming to the original question, what is you actually coding for the update?
What is the table, which fields are in the internal table and what are the indexes?

Should any body tell me how can i get the ed-cess & higher cess amount in remittance challan document? i have got the Basis TDS & surcharge remitted amount on remittance challan but not get the edcess & higher cess remitted amount? also this is not reflected the ed cess & h cess amount in vendor TDS certificate?
for this i have done the vendor invoice. during this i got the TDS amount by bifurcate. i also maintain seprate GL for TDS Deducion. then after i create remittance challan. but it couldnot shown me in the line item of ed-cess remitted.
Please help me to work out on this problem.

1. If you have separate tax codes for Surcharges, J_1IEWT_SURC table
should be maintained, by setting the checkbox checked, for the company
code. Those tax codes should be available the J_1IEWTSURC table
(use SM30 to maintain these values)
2. If you have a combined tax code for surcharges, then the tax rates
should be maintained in J_1IEWT_SURC1 table.
Make sure that tax codes available in J_1IEWT_SURC1 table are not
available in J_1IEWTSURC table and vice-versa.
3. If you are using separate tax codes for Education cess, those tax
codes should be maintained in the J_1IEWTECESS table and 'X' should be
maintained for the company code in J_1IEWT_ECFLAG table.
4. If you are using combined tax codes for Education cess, tax rates
should be maintained in J_1IEWT_ECESS1 table.
Make sure that the tax codes available in J_1IEWT_ECESS1 table are not
maintained in J_1IEWTECESS table and vice-versa.
Refer (only refer) the solution part of the note 870991 and 853918
for details relating to table creation.
Make sure that in the table for surcharge you have only the tax types
relevant for surcharge AND DOES NOT CONTAIN TAX TYPES RELEVANT TO

If you have configured secondary cess seperately,i.e a seperate tax

Withholding tax amount is not updated in with_item table

Dear all,
In our system, one vendor invoice posted through FB60. In which, system generates withholding tax lin item. The same line item shows in BSIS and WITH_ITEM tables. It also shows in GL account line item display as open item. But, in WITH_ITEM table system not calcuate tax amount and shows as nil withholding tax amount against withholding tax base amount because of this I will get error at the time of creating challan through J1INCHLN.
Please help us though there is statutatory payment due date.

The workflow could not update the item, possibly because one or more columns for the item require a different type of information. Outcome: Unknown Error

Received this error (The workflow could not update the item, possibly because one or more columns for the item require a different type of information.) recently on a workflow that was
working fine and no changes were made to the workflow.
I have tried a few suggestions, i.e. adding a pause before any ‘Update’ action (which didn’t help because the workflow past this action without incident); checked the data type being written
to the fields (the correct data types are being written); and we even checked the list schema to ensure the list names and the internal names are aligned (they
are), but we still cannot figure out why the workflow is still throwing this error.
We located the area within the workflow step where it is failing and we inserted a logging action to determine if the workflow would execute the logging action but it did not, but wrote the same error message.
The workflow is a Reusable Approval workflow designed in SharePoint Designer 2010 and attached to a content type.
The form associated with the list was modified in InfoPath 2010.
Approvers would provide their approval in the InfoPath form which is then read by the workflow.
Side note - items created after the workflow throws this Unknown Error some seem to be working fine.
We have deleted the item in question and re-added it with no effect.
Based on what we were able to determine there don’t seem to be any consistency with how this issue is behaving.
Any suggestions on how to further investigate this issue in order to find the root cause would be greatly appreciated?

I understand that the reusable workflow doesn’t work properly now. Have you tried to remove the Update list item action to see whether the workflow can run without issue?
If the workflow runs perfectly when the Update list item action is removed, then you need to check whether there are errors in the update action. Check whether the values have been changed.

External and internal mikes are not automatically switching over either recording or on voice calls

My laptop model name is HP Pavilion dv4-1100ea which is shipped with Vista Home premium 32 bits and has got service pack 1.
Restored the laptop to factory setting since then I am having the following problems; I had the same problem when my laptop was brand new and whenever I reset the laptop to factory setting I get the following problems:
1. External and internal mikes are not automatically switching over either in middle of the recording using sound recorder or while the call in progress on voice calls (skype):
   Using the sound recorder if I start recording the sound with external mike and in-between recording if I switchover from external mike to inbuilt mike and later on when I play back I can only hear the sound up till where I used the external mike during recording, after the switchover to inbuilt mike I cant hear any sound.
   But if I start the recording with inbuilt mike and in between recording if I plug in the external mike and later on when I play back I can only hear the sound up till where I used the inbuilt mike during recording , after the switchover to external mike I cant hear any sound.
   So in brief both my external and internal mikes are working fine, only problem is that if I start recording (using sound recorder) or voice call with one specific mike, I have to continue with it till the end. I can’t switchover to another mike in between the conversation (voice call) or recording, if I do so, I have to select the mike manually in chat software but while recording I cant even select manually because in laptop, it takes the mike whichever is in current use as default mike in recording tab(sound window). The green tick automatically (in recording device tab) switches over according to the use of mike. Though the green tick in the recording tab is switching over automatically according to use of mikes, its not picking up the sound after switch over during recording.
2. And also when I click on recording device tab in sound window and plug in external mike, though the green tick automatically switchovers from internal to external mike, while I speak both internal and external mikes volume meter respond to the sound inputs by rising and falling but if I take out external mike, green tick goes to internal mike and when I speak only internal mike volume meter respond to sound rising up and down not the external mike.
To resolve the issue I have tried following steps with no luck:
1.I have checked the mikes(internal and external) properties, the both mike shows to be enabled in general tab, in level tab the volume is set to 100 and in advanced tab , all options are selected.
2. In device manager I have got only one audio driver named as “IDT High definition Audio CODEC”. I have uninstalled the audio driver and reinstalled it using scan for hardware option
3. Uninstalled the audio driver in device manager and reinstalled the audio driver using recovery manager > advanced option> hardware driver re-installation.
3. I have updated the BIOS(Insyde F.65, 12/02/2010).
4. I tried to update the audio driver using below link but things went more worse so I did system restore (not factory setting though).

'BAPI_ALM_ORDER_MAINTAIN' Not Updating Fields

We are using BAPI_ALM_ORDER_MAINTAIN to update Special Stock indicator
(RESB-SOBKZ) at component level for a service order (IW32).
BAPI is not updating the value which we are passing for this field but
intrestingly BAPI is updating rest of the fields at component level,
like Component Quntity, Componen Plant etc. Only Special Stock
Indicator field is an exception.
We are passing value in "BAPI_ALM_ORDER_COMPONENT-SPECIAL_STOCK" field
and updating BAPI Update table with X for this field.
Can somebody provide help on this.

Hi SV,
Once you create the new internal with the specified valid from and valid to, the time-dependent data valid for the date of the request is displayed.
After new time interval defined the data would reflect based on the new plant assignment.
If the assignment is different in other time periods, this is designated by a history indicator after the field.
You can display the entires using filed breakdown function.

My internal microphone is not working. ( IDT high definition CODEC)
I think I have tried everything!
Driver updated
Device is shown as working ( green bars moving etc)
I have uninstalled and re-installed driver
In the past it OCCASIONALLY worked
Now it is not working at all.
Can ayone suggest anything else?
