hi, i have a nokia 5310,sim locked to Rogers, the firmware version of my nokia is 03.63, im trying to update it...im using the latest version of nokia OVI,whenever it starts to intall the update,it stalls, then an error message shows up,"internal error >cannot detect your device",i tried to use windows xp/vista,same error,i also tried the PC SUITE,same error,i noticed that the computer will prompt me that the device is connected (via usb),but at the moment the update starts to intall,it disconnects,( the usb is firmly and securely attached to the device),then right after i click 'finish' on the OVI update screen to go back to the main menu, the device re connects itself to OVI (computer),i hope someone can tell me why this is happening,thank you.

Hi,
since a while (as far as i am able to roll back system log in event viewer) I am having strange issues in the sys log, as in the subject. It is a warning of disk event 51: 'An error was detected on device \Device\Harddisk0\D during a paging operation.'
I have freed up 1/3 of each partition on the harddrive. Any idea where can i keep going to investigate?

I have searched a bit about you issue in microsoft technet,and here's what they have got to say
"An event ID 51 entry is a generic error entry for any type of error that occurs when Windows is paging information to input/output (I/O).
A paging operation occurs when Windows either swaps a page of memory from memory to disk, or when Windows retrieves a page of memory from disk to memory."
In this event, D, DR and FT, they all stand for a certain disk partition number. You can use the Registry or Disk Management to locate the certain disk.

some of the resolutions mentioned there require you to modify your registry.Please DONOT attempt to modify the registry if you dont have enough prior knowledge about it
Also try defragmenting your HDD once.

How can i ensure that the harddisk3 designation is relatd with USB etxernal disk?
I have several erros in LOGs:
An error was detected on device \Device\Harddisk3\DR3 during a paging operation.
and
The driver detected a controller error on \Device\Harddisk3\DR7
All times are HardDisk3 and sometimes it references to DR3 and sometimes DR7
My disk structure is:
2 RAID5 arrays fomr the same disks (80GB and 2 TB)
and USB 2 TB External hard disk with several partitions
I´m 99% sure that the error is related to the external USB disk and the Dell DIag tool shows no problems with any component

I have a Dell PE 2850 running Windows Server 2003 which is attached via SCSI to a Power Vault 220 SCSI disk enclosure.
The server is beeping and in the eventvwr I see the following message:
An error was detected on device \Device\Harddisk0 during a paging operation.
There are no disk failure lights on the server so what is causing these errors in the Event Viewer?

PaulThe "error" doesn't have to mean that the disk is faulty, it's just that that specific write operation might have failed (for unknown reasons).
That's all the light I can shed on it after looking through my event logs, I have a few of those too, but no errors anywhere else.Best regards

Getting an error 'Cannot open Boot device' while trying to install Solaris
Hi,
We were trying to install Solaris * on a Sun Sparc system and the CD rom drive does not seem to get recognised. When we try booting from cd rom we get an error 'Cannot open boot device' .
This server was up & running and we were trying to remove a hard disk that had failed and modified the vfstab script . After that the system failed to even boot up. So when we tried reinstalling the OS we are running into this problem.
Am new to this technology ...And any help would be greatly appreciated. .....

I assume you are running < boot cdrom> at the ok prompt
also at the ok prompt run the command <probe-scsi> (without the angled brackets) you need to see the following:
Target 6
Unit 0 Removable read only device TOSHIBA XM.......bigpileofnumbers
If not, check the cdrom drive and the cdrom inside

Our company have just upgraded to iOS 6 and the majority of the users are now receiving the following error 'Cannot Get Mail – Server error. Contact your server administrator' when accessing ms exchange this never happened on iOS 5 can anyone help

PS CC: Camera Raw filter gives "cannot parse your files" error

I can open files fine in Photoshop CC, but if I try to use the Camera Raw filter, I get the "file format module cannot parse your files" error. This only happens with larger TIFFs, say 300 MB or so - 70 MB files work fine. I have a fast machine running Windows 7 with 12GB of RAM, so I would expect to have enough space, but maybe it isn't configured properly in PS preferences?

300MB Tiff seems like a large files size for a Tiff which leads me to believe its a layered Tiff. ACR does not have Layers support try opening the Tiff file in Photoshop not through ACR to see it there are layers. If there are target all of them and convert to a smart Object then try ACR as a filter. A smart object is a single layer in Photoshop. -
I just opened PhotoShop Elements 12 and tried saving a file and keep getting the ERROR: Cannot complete your request because of a program error. I cannot save a single file One person said hold SHIFT key while PS was loading and Click Yes about the 3rd party plugins. This did NOT solve the issue. Please any help would be much appreciated!
That's a well known bug on MacOS 10.10. Apple is aware of it, and working on a solution.

Crop Tool Error "Cannot complete your request because resulting document would be too big."
Hello!
Anytime I try to crop an image, I can scale to the size I need, but I cannot complete the request. I get this error "cannot complete your request because resulting document would be too big".
This only happens when I am trying to crop something, full document or PNG, JPG, etc.
I am in Photoshop CC 2014, on a Windows platform.
Any thoughts on how to fix this would be appreciated!

1. Can you open your account via OWA?
2. Can you configure your account on other user's computer?
Try disabling any 3rd-party firewall or AV programs, make sure no proxy applictions or settings.

In UI i am getting as Error finding JNDI nameThe JRC will write temporary files to whatever temp directory is specified in your java System.properties. Check to see which directory java has specified.... it may be your application server temp, or your user temp..... and ensure that there are appropriate permissions on this directory so that the JRC can write files in here.

We are so sorry that you are having so many difficulties. While many experience the same (a search here will reveal that fact), there are also many who have very positive experiences with their BB. Not every device is suitable for everyone -- which IMHO is why there are so many choices.
In addition, but for AppWorld, front line support for BB's is, by contract, not provided by RIM. The carriers and authorized resellers are responsible for front line formal support to end users. It is possible to bypass your carrier and seek assistance direct from RIM, but such involves fees since you are bypassing your support agreement with your carrier. The "Support and Services" tab toward the top of these forum pages provide information about that. But, if you do go through your carrier for support, they can escalate into RIM at no fee to you if they so choose to.
As to AppWorld Support (beyond what we volunteer to provide in these forums), that is available via this portal:

If you choose to submit to them in this manner, then please use, in the "Please select a component:" field, the AppWorld Billing/Payment selection. Any other selection will simply route you back anonymously to these public forums.
As to your question, RIM and the carriers both participate in AppWorld. My suspicion is that the carriers get a portion of the costs for the apps that are vended via AppWorld -- but that's just my suspicion. Hence, the use of AppWorld indeed requires a carrier (and, indeed, the proper data plan level from them).
But, AppWorld is merely a portal, vending apps that are (for the most part) developed by others. As such, it is not the only portal in the world for BB apps. There are a few, I think, apps that are exclusively vended via AppWorld...but I think that number is rather small. Consequently, if you desire an app that will allow your BB to function as you desire, you should seek out alternative vending portals. There are plenty.

"iTunes was unable to verify your device" error
Hi,
I have a first generation iPad that has been working just fine. I decided to give it away, and so I wiped it and set about restoring it to factory defaults.... except, now I keep getting the error "iTunes was unable to verify your device. Please disconnect and reconnect your device. If the error persists, see your local Apple store for assistance." Well, the error is persisting despite disconnecting, reconnecting, attempting to restore several times, attempting to use DFU mode, no matter what I do, I get this error. I did see in a different forum, someone said this suggests the iPad was jailbroken or hacked in some way. So, just for clarity here - this iPad was never running anything except standard iOS. Anyone have any ideas?Apple's activation servers are down at the moment. Try again in a few hours (or even tomorrow).

I need help. I have been using my BB8520Curver for a month already and was able to download apps in the appworld before but after I upgraded the Appworld in my device (to AppWorld version3?)
