I have windows 7 32 bit when i running windows 8 upgrade assistant this message is showing Internal Error:Error retrieving the scan report

Windows 8 upgrade assistant will scan your PC, and connected devices to see if they'll work with or be compatible with Windows 8 or Windows 8.1, and generate a report accordingly.
If this error happens in the process of generating the report, there will be a log generated in the event log, the log will give detail error information for troubleshooting.
Input “event viewer” at the search box and find the event viewer, find the error log related to upgrade assistant and post for further troubleshooting.

GR224 Report Painter: Internal error when converting a report

Hi
Using FAGL_RMIGR transaction I've trasferred report 8A3-0010 in a
custom library ZXX. The migration happened without error messages. I've
tryed then to run report FL3-0010 by GRR3 transaction but error message
GR224 appears

Message no. GR224
Diagnosis
During the internal compilation of a Report Painter report to a
Report Writer report, sets are generated. This caused an error in the
subprogramm GENERATE_ROW_MULTI. The return code was 7.
System Response
The report could not be generated and/or saved.
Procedure
Please call the SAP Hotline and send them this longtext as well as
detailed information describing the circumstances in which this
error
occured.

Photoshop convert error: Retrieving the COM class factory for component with CLSID

Hi Guys,
I am new to this forum and have already tried looking for the resolution for this error but unsucessful til now. Actually we have photoshop cs4 installed in our server and we use it to create thumbnails whenever a PSD file is uploaded to the application.
It was working fine but since few days, i am seeing the error (Photoshop convert error: Retrieving the COM class factory for component with CLSID {6568E194-96D8-4035-9087-99E4F75E9ABC} failed due to the following error: 80080005. ) in logs and also the server is not able to generate proxies.
Please help me get this sort out since it is in production.

I know this is the common/generic error message, following is our scenario:
We installed BPC NW 7.5 on our production box and configured F5 load balancing for two .NET servers.
We are getting the error "EVDRE encountered error retrieving the data from web Server"when we run the report EVDRE on APSHELL (original Appset). This is the fresh installation:
The workaround "Clear Local application information". Even this works only sometimes.
Is there anything else we should have configured on using two .NET servers?

hi Nagesh sorry for the delayed reply..
We changed some of the parameters at F5 switch like sticky time, timeout..
And the MDXPARSER connection to one of out application server was failling, thats why we did not had this issue consistently.
When ever the request goes to that app server fails. It took a lot effort to notice this since we were assuming the F5 switch was only causing the issue.

Solved the Error by deleting the spool in the Backend.

ACS 5 : 24463 Internal error in the ACS Active Directory

I am configuring ACS 5.
I have group in AD created. There is 2 users in the group. Usera are from different OUs.
One user get authenticated.
The other failing to get trough authentication with following error:
24463 Internal error in the ACS Active Directory
Could anybody help?
P.S. I have something to add.
It works for some users and does not for others. I have created new user and it worked.
So it looks it is sometjing in user properties of groups it belongs to.

We need to harden our environment according CIS standards. After applying those policies I am encountering following issue:
Unix/Linux agents managed by the interal Unix/Linux resource (Management Servers domain joined) pool turn grey with the
WS-Management Certificate Health in critical state. Some return healthy after a while... to fail again after a while.
When I resign the certificate through Discovery Wizard the agent turns healthy again... to return to a grey state again after a while.

When I re-execute the command right afterwards... it succeeds! :-/ When I run the command 10 minutes afterwards, it fails again the
first time it is executed.
My guess the possibility it is related to above issue is likely.
I'm not having this issue on the gateway servers (not domain joined) where the policies are not applied.
P.s. Unfortunately I installed security and critical updates a few hours before applying the gpo so it could well be related to that
also.
Before I try to revert the changes made by the gpo... can anyone verify if a setting in the gpo can cause this issue?
Relevant part (I think) of the gpo below. Or does anyone know what this might be caused by or how to further troubleshoot this?

I've managed to pinpoint the issue to the following gpo setting:
System cryptography: Use FIPS 140 compliant cryptographic algorithms, including encryption, hashing and signing algorithms
Description: For the Schannel Security Service Provider (SSP), this security setting disables the weaker Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) protocols and supports only the Transport Layer Security (TLS) protocols as a client and as a server (if applicable). If this
setting is enabled, Transport Layer Security/Secure Sockets Layer (TLS/SSL) Security Provider uses only the FIPS 140 approved cryptographic algorithms: 3DES and AES for encryption, RSA or ECC public key cryptography for the TLS key exchange and authentication,
and only the Secure Hashing Algorithm (SHA1, SHA256, SHA384, and SHA512) for the TLS hashing requirements.
Disabled the setting in a new gpo and everything returned to normal.

most error relating to table DOKTL are caused by misconfigured network card.
if this is a "home" system, install a loopback adapter from Microsoft and use IP address 127.0.0.1 and also check "hosts" file for inconsistency. do not use the IP adddress provided by your ISP as it may change.

In addition to Tracy's post we have to know those answers as well:
* what provider are you using for the connection
* what do you connect to
for example, if someone try to connect to oracle using sql server provider then several simple queries are going to work probably OK, but once you are trying to use T-SQL or any complex SQL query then the errors are starting.
please post the connection string (without the password!) + the query that you are trying to use.

I have excel 2013 Professional installed and i have created a windows service to open the excel document and read it.
Service is running as System account.
Now when i am trying to access the excel doucment, it is throwin the exception as
EXCEL COM ERROR Error Retrieving the COM class factory for component with CLSID {00024500-0000-0000-C000-000000000046}
however, when i am using the console application running as administrator, i am able to open same file.
Any yes, i am using 64 bit service C++ and excel binaries are Any CPU.
Please note: I have already tried using dcomconfig and assigned full permission to the system user.
Is there any other solution for this issue.

If you are building a solution that runs in a server-side context, you should try to use components that have been made safe for unattended execution. Or, you should try to find alternatives that allow at least part of the code to run client-side.

THERE ANY WAY I CAN PUT MULTIPLE RANDUM TRANSITIONS IN TO THE TIME LINE WITH JUST ONE CLICK ? .
There is no transition choice for random transitions across the Premiere Elements 12 workspace Timeline. But, the Elements Organizer 12/Create Menu/Slideshow and its Slideshow Editor does have that random transition choice. So, one possibilitity would be to create your slideshow in Elements Organizer 12 Slideshow Editor and then move the slideshow into Premiere Elements with the Output of Edit with Premiere Elements Editor command.
Pending more details of the slideshow you are creating, I think that you would get your best photo quality and overall results staying with Premiere Elements 12 workspace (1080p) project and the transitions randomized manually.
perhaps applying the default to all (all at the same time),
using Timeline Menu/Apply Default Transition,
and then replacing transitions randomly for the random transition look).

Errors in the generated reports

When I run a report for Management 3 - Updates in a deployment, SCCM will generate all the data except in a few areas. On the main report I get #Error in Collection Name, then if I click on a particular update I get #Error for all 3 states. If
I go further and click on one of the states, I get #Error in all the Error Descriptions.
I'm trying to get a good weekly report to send to my boss that shows what updates were pushed in a package, and what clients have and haven't installed each update, I can get a default report that shows all updates in a package and that's great, but

No, we never did. We ended up calling Microsoft and they spent HOURS on remote sessions trying to get it cleared up. They were thinking it was part of our SQL Database that was corrupt, and we ended up having them come onsite and reinstall
Config Manager.
