INTERNAL ERROR in Change Request form of an employee in MSS on EP 5.0

Hi All,
Need some urgent help regarding an issue with Change Request forms in MSS business package deployed on EP 5.0.
Iam getting an error message as "Internal Error" whenever iam trying to open a Change Request form for an employee in MSS in EP 5.0.
The Change Request form basically Triggers a Workflow in the backend.
any help regarding the same will be really appreciated.

Thanks but his is how I solved my issue. I added a link in the Label in its own text box to look like a button. This is because I could not add a link in a label omits own. This is a nice solution because the linked info is opened in its own page so when the use closes that page there form is not lost and they can continue to the next form field. A work around that made my project look better.
If you can tell me how to add a close button or link on the info pages that would help so the user can see it right off and not have to use the browser to close the newly opened window.

Error"There was an internal error when submitting the form" URM Disposition

Hello
I get the following error - "*There was an internal error when submitting the form*" - when i allocate a Retention Disposition to a Retention Category.
Any Ideas how this can be solved?

Not based on the minimal information provided.
Error messages in 11g, from a UI standpoint, are severely deficient. How about looking in the content server logs and posting some more information?

We found that the Smartform style is not found in Production.
But the same is available in Development & Quality.
We need to transport the same to Production.
How to create the transport for this Style in Development & transport to production.
Or is it possible to include in Production.
The Style is /SMB11/BL_SF which is there in Development but not exist in Production.
How to get this in Production.

MDG-F GL Account Change Request Form

There is a field called "Field Status Group" on GL Change Request screen in MDG-F 7.0. Normally this field is available for users to enter and this field is visible under the heading "Control of Document Creation in Company Code". For some unknown reason, this field "Field Status Group" went missing since yesterday and it is top of my head to figure out what goes wrong. Our team has said that this field is correctly configured in Floor Plan Manager about its visibility on screen and the position on screen. please advise.

Internal error: 400 Bad request. (117007)

I get the error in the subject heading every time I try to publish. I read a previous post that said this is caused by not having the email changed in the form. I corrected that, and I'm still getting the error. Any ideas? My client deadline for first look at the wireframe is today.

The only thing I know about using forms which reply to multiple email addresses is to "separate them with colons" (paraphrase), according to Muse's in-app help notice. So I just typed a colon between each email address. Do I need to put a space between the colon and the email addresses? What is the exact syntax for this function?
Or is my persistent issue not related to email addresses at all? Have I made some other kind of error? And how do I trace it down in order to correct it and upload my comp site so my client can move forward?
I wish the error notice was more helpful. Bottom line: email addresses correct, problem still here.

Muse 2014.3 - Publish ERROR: "Publish Failed / Error: Internal error: 400 Bad Request. (117007)" OK

We have a site which has been published to the public on Business Catalyst for over a year.
We recently designed an update with new pages, but before we publish it to the world, we want our clients to review and approve it. It seemed the best idea to create an additional "temporary site" on BC, and publish it there, for review. After approval, we would publish it to our client's domain on BC.
The temporary site we requested has indeed been created on BusinessCatalyst.com, but ... when attempting to publish this revised site there, we get the error. -- I can see the temporary site when going to BusinessCatalyst.com; it was created this morning for this temporary review. And I just received an auto-email from BC, informing me that this new temp site has been created. But publishing to that temporary site seems impossible at the moment. WHY?

Permissions, change request, business owner field

i'm setting up unique permissions for my company, i created a tier 1 change group so that tech's can create change requests, however if they put a business owner, they get the below permissions error.
add anything to that and the techs get,

Ok, let me explain what is going on here: The Business Owner field must be a customization MS did to your Change Request form. Depending on which classes and relationships they used, you will have to grant permissions to the Change Manager profile to write
instances of these relationship classes.
There is two solutions two this:
1. Instead of creating a custom user role of type Change Manager, you create a custom user role of type Advanced Operator. Just be aware that Advanced Operators have permissions to create and modify all work item types and config items.
2. If this is not an option, we have to figure out how MS did the Business Owner customization. The first step would be to find the management pack which stores the Business Owner class and form extension. If you are lucky, you might be able to find a management
pack with a meaningful name sounding like Business Owner. If you find it, export it, and paste the XML code of the management pack. If you cannot find it, we have to start unpacking your environment with PowerShell or looking into the database :(

Systems Request form

Hi all,
Can you lend your change request forms format? Or any link docs would be appreciated.
We are just beginning to formulate change request or any other systems procedures.
For example: If Oracle is releasing Quarterly Mandatory PSU patch.
Who will initiate the change request to apply the patch?
A who will approved, validate, test? What group would be affected or must coordinate to make ,this patch successfully implemented.
Does it involves Applications Group, Sysadmin Group, Network Group, Security Group, Dba Group, etc.
Can you share how is your current setup handles change or any systems request procedure?

Hello I'm trying to find any place at SCSM 2012 Change Request form to insert Start Down Time but I didn't find any thing is any one have any idea about that.

The actual development and testing is done in the Change Management process, but when it comes to deploying the Change into production you should use the Release Managemt process. Where you normally would have your "Deploy into production" actvity in
your Change, insert a Dependet Activity. Then in the Release Record, insert an activity and link it to the Dependent Activity in your Change. In this way, the acitivity within your Change will be completed once you have completed the linked acitivity in the
Release Record.
If you don't have the Release Process in place, you could always extend the Change Request class with properties for Downtime.

MSS-mySAP ERP2004-Error in Personal Change Request

I am trying to configure the business package for MSS for my SAP ERP 2004.
I have deployed the business package,the web dynpro development components for ess, mss and pcui_gp.
I have done the JCO destination settings, done the system settings in EP.Have done the back end configurations as given in help.sap.com(assigned the employee to user,assigned authorizations).
I have configured the adobe document services for the scenario for interactive forms.
When i login into MSS using the userid,the frontend is dispalyed.
When i navigate to Personal change request,and click on link "New Personal Change Request", i get the error:
failed to create or init instance of model 'com.sap.pcui_gp.isr.isrprocessevent.model.IsrModel' in scope APPLICATION_SCOPE with instanceId 'null'
And:
no jcoMetadata found for RFC function 'ISR_COMPLETE_NOTIFICATION'! Please verify, that your model is consistent with the ABAP backend:
I have provided the details for Server on which web dynpro application is deployed,in the ECC server in SPRO under
Cross-Application Components ® Internet/Intranet Services ® Internal Service Request ® Scenario Definition ® Define Scenarios ® Details ® Additional Data for Scenario.
When i test the form from there i get the same eror.

Things i have tried till now are
1)changed the name of the name of the endpoint address basicHttpBinding to basicHttpBinding_IEmployeeService but still get the save error.

I didn't use Fiddler before, I just download and use it but how to see the request message from this software?
I have logged the request to event log before send to web service and copy this request from event log to testing with soapUI, so I don't think have between the actual messages being sent to your client via orchestration and soapui. In the log Response shape
I see the fault response in event log.
You can see
this link to know how to use fiddler. As I suggested above the error you need to check is at the server side who is hosting the service( your party ) because you are getting fault response properly from them. The webservice you are calling seems to look
like WCF service too. Your life would have been so easier if you could ask them to have firewall open from your dev box to their dev server so that you can use use "Add Service Reference" wizard, that even they have .NET wcf service too.
Did you by any chance manage to talk to them what they are getting or if they can increase the exception details in the fault message for you?
