Internal Error when trying to delete rejected photos

This problem started yesterday after I moved some of my library to an external hard drive. I created a new catalog and moved the photos within lightroom. I don't know if the move of photos caused the error or not. Now whenever I try to delete rejected photos, I get the following error message:

I cannot delete any photos even if they are not rejected.

I no longer get the dialog box when trying to delete rejected photos.

I have always used the Delete Rejected Photos. . . selection to get rid of the photos I have flagged as rejected. However, after the rejected photos are shown, the dialog box no longer appears with the option to Delete from Disc or to Remove from the LR Catalog. I don't know if this problem began with LR 3.4 or before, but the timing was close. It isn't that I don't know how to use the function because I have been using it for years. Any help would be appreciated.

Since I had 358 photos out of almost 2800 flagged as 'rejected' I did not
want to loose all my work. I selected the rejected photos and then flagged
them all with a 'yellow' color. I then displayed all photos with a yellow
flag and 'Un-rejected' them. I highlighted a small amount of them, about 30,
and rejected them and then went to the Delete Rejected photos. the pop-up
came up and I was able to delete them. Since the rest of my yellow flagged
photos were still showing I rejected another chunk of them and so on till
they were all deleted. When trying to delete a group that had published
photos within I got a box warning me that if I deleted them the published
ones could no longer be managed by LR. That is alright with me. It would be
nice if the software would somehow flag those that had been published. All
the dialog box said was that one or more of the group had been published. I
did not know which.

HT204022 server error when trying to delete my photo stream, what do i do?

my windows 7 keeps givine me problems when i try to delete photos from my icloud. He wont give me the option to go in there even i go to the folder manually it shows theres nothing in there. But my phone says its full. I cant find my photos and it wont let me delete them either cause it gives me an error message saying there was a server error. How do i go about getting this fixed? Also my computer isnt allowing me to update my itunes to the new 10.6.3. That also keeps giving me an error message.

i tried adding user macintosh hd/users/your_user/pictures/"photo booth" but still photo booth is not working and even images in photo booth cant be deleted they keep coming back

Back up all data.
This procedure will unlock all your user files (not system files) and reset their ownership and access-control lists to the default. If you've set special values for those attributes on any of your files, they will be reverted. In that case, either stop here, or be prepared to recreate the settings if necessary. Do so only after verifying that those settings didn't cause the problem. If none of this is meaningful to you, you don't need to worry about it.
I've tested these instructions only with the Safari web browser. If you use another browser, they may not work as described.
Step 1
If you have more than one user account, and the one in question is not an administrator account, then temporarily promote it to administrator status in the Users & Groups preference pane. To do that, unlock the preference pane using the credentials of an administrator, check the box markedAllow user to administer this computer, then reboot. You can demote the problem account back to standard status when this step has been completed.
Triple-click anywhere in the following line on this page to select it:

☞ Open LaunchPad. Click Utilities, then Terminal in the icon grid.
Paste into the Terminal window (command-V). I've tested these instructions only with the Safari web browser. If you use another browser, you may have to press the return key after pasting.
You'll be prompted for your login password. Nothing will be displayed when you type it. You may get a one-time warning to be careful. If you don’t have a login password, you’ll need to set one before you can run the command. Boot into Recovery. When the OS X Utilities screen appears, select

Press return. A Reset Password window will open. You’re not going to reset a password.

what can be done to avoid getting the following error when trying to delete unused clips in Imovie 09 "the operation could not be completed. *** -[__NSArrayM insertObject:atIndex:]: object cannot be nil" I use to get these type of error messages when trying to delete unsused clips from a large event 60 minutes or longer, but now I get this message when trying to reduce a 4 minute event.
Also, does anyone know if there is a limit to the total amount of space that can be taken up by Projects in Imovie 09

It goes something like this...
Put your new drive in the enclosure. Use Disk Utility to format it, etc. I'd give it a slightly different name than the original. Let's say you have Old Disk and New Disk as your drive names. Use Carbon Copy Cloner to copy Old Disk to New Disk. Now you should have an exact copy, which you can test by rebooting and holding down the Option key. Choose New Disk from the list and let it boot, make sure all is well.
Shut down and physically swap the drives. Take Old Disk and put it in the enclosure. Now your system has a new disk with a lot more space and you can reformat your old disk and just use it for large files or whatever.

IChat Internal Error when trying to change own Buddy Icon

On my son's iBook G4 with OS 10.4.5 and iChat AV 3.1.1, he gets an error when trying to insert some JPG photos for his own Buddy Icon. It says:
iChat Internal error! NSInvalidargumentexception: * -[NSCFArray addObject:] attempt to insert nil
Also where are all your recent pictures stored??? Upon searching iChat Recent Pictures on my HD, it see they should be User>Library>Images>iChat Recent Pictures. However upon tyring to open that fiel, I get a message saying, "The alias 'ichat Recent Pictures' could not be opened, because the original item cannot be found." I can select delete alias, fix alias or ok. Might this also relate to my problem?

Hi Michael,
I pointed you to that thread as the error message you posted is normally associated with either a spellcheck problem or something odd with the Me Card in the Address Book.
You can drag pics to the Recent Buddies folder but iChat will not see them.
Create a New Folder and call it iChat Recent Pictures
The alias should be removed.
You should now find that iChat will let you select a choice as a new Buddy Pic.
This is done by clicking on the current Buddy pica nad selecting the "Edit Picture" option.
Then "Choose".
Navigate to the Pic and then resize as require.
Use the "Set" button.
This will convert the pic to a jpeg 2000 copy of the original and the Recents.plist which is needed within the folder.
You should now be good to go.

Getting No checksum error when trying to delete uploaded file

When trying to delete an uploaded file I get the following error :-
No checksum was provided to show processing for a page that requires a checksum when one or more request, clear cache, or argument values are passed as parameters.
I have a tabular report displaying the uploaded files with one of the columns showing a delete icon.
When you select the delete icon it has Column Link details of the following
Link Text : <img src="#APP_IMAGES#del.gif">
Link Attribute : &APP_ID.
Target: URL

The above was working till I turned on the Session State Protection.
I believe I need to add a checksum to my url via the pl/sql package apex_util.prepare_url but can someone please show me how to do from my URL????

Why not do the following then...
I think confirmDeleteFile is a custom function correct? As the second parameter, just pass in the file ID. Then in the function use JavaScript to set the value of P11_DELETE_ID to the file ID. Then call doSubmit('REMOVE_ID');

Error when trying to delete a vendor from SC

Hi all,
I am encountering a problem when trying to delete a vendor from a contract and assign preferred vendor.
The messages are
"Enter exactly one partner of type preferred vendor"
"Partner data couldnot be determined".
In BBP_PD, I find two entries in partner table with partner_fct = 39.
I am also not able to delete one of this entry.
Please suggest.

Are these vendors assigned to pur org?
DO you get all greens in BBP_BP_OM_INTEGRATE?

Error message when trying to delete rejected clips

When I try to delete the rejected clips in some projects (from the event panel) I get the following error message:
"The operation could not be completed. Error writing file: /Users/lee/Movies/iMovie Events.localized/imovie-001/04dx 01-1.mov"
This only occurs with certain imported movie clips. Other imported clips work as expected when I move the rejected portions to the trash.
Can anyone help? Thanks.

Just a suggestion but I have found on WIn 7 that showing a pdf in the
Preview view can make win think the file is open and locked for editing. The
little icon on the taskbar makes it easier to turn the preview on and off. I
always check my open explorer windows now when I get messages like that and
it usually clears it up. Hope it works foryou.

Internal error when trying to preview slideshow

Hi all, this seems like an error a few people have had but I cant seem to find an answer for this.
Regarding Lightroom Slideshow module: When I click on the preview button I get the following error:
An internal error has occurred: ?:0: attempt at index a nil value.
This occurs with any group of images I select in my catalog.
I feel this is due to a permissions fault. I was previewing slideshows fine until yesterday when I deleted one of the users profiles on my windows PC. Since then the problem has occured. I now have only one user profile (password protected admin).
Anybody any help? This is a real pain and I'm having to wait a long time exporting slideshows rather than a quick preview.
I've tried in LR5 and the newly downloaded LR CC.
Any help appreciated.

Getting an internal error when attempting to delete a certificate

When attempting to delete a certificate on one of our servers using the Windows Azure Managment Portal we receive an error "The server encountered an internal error. Please retry the request. The long running operation tracking ID was: 33c70589cc21ba74903d8e7bffe7868b."
We have been able to delete this certificate on other servers and have been able to delete other certificates on this server. Is there anything we can do to get rid of this certificate?

What service certificate you attempted to delete? Cloud service or VM ? Did your delete the certificate by connecting RDP to VM before delete certificate on Azure portal? I need confirm those information.
