Internal HTTPS data no longer accessible using Firefox 7. "Corrupted Data" error. OK using IE8.

We access our spam filter program using an internal HTTPS URL on port 8080. (https:/xxxxxSBS:8080) We can get to the Spam Filter login page, but when I try to login I get an error:
Corrupted Content Error
-The page you are trying to view cannot be shown because an error in the data transmission was detected.
-The page you are trying to view cannot be shown because an error in the data transmission was detected.
-Please contact the website owners to inform them of this problem.
It worked fine using Firefox 5, and works fine using IE8.

This preview window - is it the one in Acrobat 10.1.4 when you choose to print a PDF (or a PDF made from an HTML)? If it's a preview in a browser, this seems like maybe a Mac OS problem; Acrobat doesn't make that preview.

When using Firefox Sync on multiple devices, I used to be able to 'send' a tab from one computer to another. Is this still possible? If so, how?
I don't mean the ability to see what tabs are open on another device (I know how to do this). But if I am at work and find something that I want to read at home, it would be helpful to 'send' the tab to my home PC so that when I return home, it will automatically open that tab for me.

Can anyone help?

Hi, While writing an email online using Firefox 3.6.3, I was using one of the "CTRL+left or right arrow" to move the cursor along the text. I must have pressed some other key because the display has become huge - and I can't scroll vertically or horizontally, which makes using the Mail pages of Hotmail impossible. I have since logged in using MSFT Explorer and it works fine. This problem occurs only on the Mail page of Hotmail Live not on the home page or others.
Could you please let me know if this is a problem with Firefox, or if you have any advice on how to reset the appearance of Hotmail in Firefox?
== This happened ==
Just once or twice
== While I was compiling an email in Hotmail Live

Wow, lightning fast and absolutely right!
Thank you so much!

• My import system is no longer accessible on firefox.

I am using the apsona import tool in both my zen and open carts. After upgrading firefox, the referenced import tool is no longer accessible although I can log into zen-cart and open-cart. The toolbar is accessible in zen but when I click the button to open the apsona tool a new tab opens but does not load the tool. In open-cart, I can log in but the admin toolbar is missing. Important! This only happens on this computer.

You can try these steps in case of issues with web pages:
You can reload web page(s) and bypass the cache to refresh possibly outdated or corrupted files.
*Hold down the Shift key and left-click the Reload button
*Press "Ctrl + F5" or press "Ctrl + Shift + R" (Windows,Linux)
*Press "Command + Shift + R" (Mac)
Clear the cache and cookies only from websites that cause problems.
"Clear the Cache":
*Firefox/Tools > Options > Advanced > Network > Cached Web Content: "Clear Now"
"Remove Cookies" from sites causing problems:
*Firefox/Tools > Options > Privacy > "Use custom settings for history" > Cookies: "Show Cookies"
Start Firefox in <u>Safe Mode</u> to check if one of the extension (Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem.
*Switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance
*Do NOT click the Reset button on the Safe Mode start window

• Why is data being retained in the Firefox Internet cache when I always use Private Browsing ?

OS Windows 7, using Firefox 33.1.1. I have set "Never remember history" so always use Private Browsing mode. I use CCleaner to delete unwanted files from my PC on each reboot, and notice that despite using private browsing mode CCleaner is deleting files every reboot from Firefox's Internet Cache. This morning, for example, there were 203 files with 2805 KB of data deleted by CC Cleaner from the Firefox Internet cache. What data is Firefox storing there from private browsing sessions?

If you are in private browsing mode then the location for disk cache should be empty and show the same as the memory cache.
Are you sure that this is the disk cache as there is more stored at the location where the disk cache is located?
*C:\Users\&lt;user&gt;\AppData\Local\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\&lt;profile&gt;\
Note that plugins may always store data on disk in their own cache.

• Can't load a page using Network Solutions website tool builder using Firefox 5.0.1; they recommend using 3.6! How do I get a copy of 3.6?

I use Network Solution's Website Tool Builder to manage several websites. Since upgrading Firefox to 5.0.1, some of the pages no longer load and therefore I can't edit them. The sites come up okay in the browser, but not in NetSol's editor. When I called their tech support, they said it was a Firefox problem. They said I need to use Firefox 3.6...Is there a way for me to get a copy of that version of Firefox?

I need to access Network Solutions website builder too. It isn't compatible with Internet Explorer v9, Chrome v13, or Firefox v5! I believe Firefox v6 is out now. This is a Network Solution's problem. What's involved in rolling back? Can you still get add-ons, plugins, and extensions for such an older version? You can't save your personal preferences can you?

• How do I stop my whole laptop freezing when I use Firefox to visit a site that uses Java aplets?

For the last few weeks, whenever I've used Firefox to visit a trusted site that uses Java aplets, I've got a warning advising me to update Java. But when I check Java, it tells me I already have the most up to date version. However, as of today, whenever I visit the same trusted site my whole laptop freezes - cursor disappears, everything stops. I can't even use Restart - I have to manually disconnect the power. The same happens when I attempt to access Java via the Control Panel (to uninstall) - the moment the cursor hovers over Java, everything freezes and I have to disconnect power. I'm using Vista Home Premium SP2 32-bit. HELP!!

Potentially unsafe versions of the Java plugin are "Click to Play" blocked, meaning that you have to click to activate Java for each site. See the How to enable Java if it's been blocked article for more information.
Note: To make sure that your Java plugin is working, you can visit the test pages listed in the article, Use the Java plugin to view interactive content on websites. If an "Activate Java" message box appears, click inside the box to activate the Java plugin.
When you see the "Activate Java" message box, simply click it to load the Java content normally.
<br><br>

If there is no visible area to activate Java content in the page, click the red plugin icon in the address bar. In the message panel that opens, choose "Allow Now" to enable Java content temporarily.
<br><br>

<br><br>
The next time you visit the site or any other that uses Java you will see this message again.
If you want to always activate Java for a particular site, you can use the "Allow and Remember" option shown above.
After activating Java, you may also see a "Security Warning" dialog box, asking you to confirm that you want to run Java. This warning comes from Java itself, not from Firefox.
<b>NOTE: </b> After following the above steps, your computer may freeze for around one minute while the Java program is loaded.
Does this solve your problem? Please report back soon.

• I cannot access online statements for my credit card account when using firefox, but have no problem when using safari.

When I attempted to check the monthly statement for my credit card account and clicked on "See statement", the next screen that appeared, which was labeled Online Statement", was blank. In the past, I have never had any problems with this. When I checked with the bank that issued the credit card, the representative I spoke with said that it was a browser issue and that, since I was working on a Mac, I should try using Safari. When I switched to Safari, I had no problem bringing up my statement. But I would prefer to be able to use Firefox to obtain information like this, since it's the browser I always use.

Can you upgrade your browser to Firefox 12 and check?

• I just added a PayPal shopping cart to our website ... it will show up when I use Safari and will show up on my laptop using Firefox but will not show up using Firefox on our desktops nor my wife's laptop ... Help Please

There isn't much to add. the proper paypal carts show up on all the Safari browsers on all our desktop and laptop models and folks can use them to buy tickets to shows at our non-profit theater. HOWEVER ... when I go to that page with Firefox MOST of the computers show the page but without the PayPal Carts ... WITH THE EXEPCTION OF MY LAPTOP. I don't know how to correct this and since it directly affects our ability to sell tickets I need to settle this very fast

• I use FIREFOX as my browser. I use AOL as my e-mail. I can not send an e-mail with an attachment.

as the e-mail tries to send , after a couple of minutes a box pops up( we have encountered a technical issue please try again)

I have the same issue and I'm trying to access the link provided for the AOL Community Support. I was able to type my question, but it keeps asking me to provide my date of birth, gender, and my name (for verification purposes). After filling out that little box multiple times, my question has still not been posted to the forum. Also, I was able to use Google Chrome to send email attachments through AOL with no problems.
