Internal Implementation - Demo Software

Hello all,
We recently become a Nakisa partner and we're trying to do an internal test implementation in order to get knowledge about Nakisa implementation.
To do this, we have downloaded the Nakisa Demo Software 3.0 SP1 (the file named VSN30PreEhP4SP1_0.zip, cause we're running on SAP ECC 6.0 with no EhP), but when we running the t.code SAINT in order to install the Add-on, the system display a dialog box with additionals required components. The components are SAP_APPL 603 and the Add-on SAP_APPL Release 600.
How could we fix this issue? We need to install EhP1 (at least) ?. All documentation is about EhP1-2 and 3 but there is not a documentation about EhP0.
Could someone help us?

There is a bug in the Add On version for ECC6.0 pre-EhP4 that was originally posted on SMP and (it appears) on the partner portal! Please contact Nakisa's partner email address (I'm sure you must know it) and I'm sure you'll be directed correctly.
I had this on a client site and after an OSS note, a new Add On was issued. I don't know for certain if an update has been posted onto SMP but the update is certainly available and it works! We received it on 3rd June 2011.
Oddly I haven't seen an OSS note appear about this issue yet.

International payroll with statutory would differ based on the complexity involved in the country norms and pay policies tobe implemented in the schema level.
Realization effort would definitely will be based on the country specific RICEF and PCR modifications to be performed. Else, the project estimation can be made based on any other country implementation for other phases in ASAP.
some of the notes to be kept as a checklist for any payroll implementation are-
1) Clear pay related requirements to be implemented are signed off
2) Testing scenarios identified by the Users, functional consultants as a workshop session
3) Parallel runs of atleast two cycle to be incorporated in the plan for implementation
4) Statutory forms are well designed and tested per the latest SAP release notes
5) Payroll users are trained and tested with the payroll processes
6) FI configurations are well defined with the respective accounts to be considered for various wage types
7) Test some of the end to end scenario for various cities and districts related calculations and different EGs from hiring and processing time, payrollt, posting to payroll and posting to finance
8) Finalising on check print format and consolidated inputs with appropriate testing
9) Bank transfer file to be well tested
10) Reviewing the remuneration statement as pay slips in Portal (PDF format) should be configured and tested

Table Model Internal Implementation

As written in the API when constructing a Table you can set CONSTANTS which determine when the Table is resized what behaviour will apply. - eg AUTO_RESIZE_COLUMN.
Can anybody tell me, in view of there being 5 different options, how this is most likely implemented internally. I dont believe there are subclasses which handle drawing based on this constant. I also dont believe that there is a big if - else block.
The reason i want to know this is i have to do something similar and i want to borrow the design ideas used in Table. Obviously i have researched using Tables but i want to know how layout gets done internally.

i doubt very much they would let you see the source.Why would I suggest this if I wasn't able to look at the source code?
I using Apple Mac OS X The JDK source belongs to Sun, not Apple. I have the complete source for the Windows JDK, so I don't see any reason why you don't have it with the Apple JDK.
The code is not located in a single place or method in the JTable class. The code uses a combination of if/else and switch statements.

Internal Error, device software cannot be updated

I own different models of Nokia phones but the latest 6600i slide coupled with Nokia Ovi Suite is the worst combination.
I tried the software update just to find the "Internal error" with no information just "device software cannot be updated"

How do we "demo" software with the app store?

usually there's a demo to try an app before you buy - how do we do this with the app store?

Use the developers site for any software demo/download/purchase that is of a substancial cost amount to you.
You DON'T want to deal with Apple's semi-English speaking India call center if you have a issue. TRUST ME!

Audacity is the recorder, Soundflower is the translator to get the audio stream into Audacity.
Soundflower is not needed when recording from external sources (line in).

Demo software will not leave computer?

I am asking the software company this same question, but have not heard back from them yet.
I downloaded a demo version of x-plane to see if I liked the program. I did, so I ordered the software and when it arrived, I thought that I removed everything so that I could start fresh with the software cd's.
I installed the new software cd of x-plane, and then ran a trial of my new software so that I could set up the parameters. I decided to take a sim flight. During the flight, a window appeared stating that I was unable to go into other aspects of the flight due to this being only a demo version and those items were only available in the real program, not the demo version.
I thought that I removed the downloaded demo version, but apparently either it never was erased or the new software cd's are not being recognized.
I am not advanced enough with computers to know or understand what is happening or wrong here.
If anyone has experienced something like this or knows what I can do to fix it, I would appreciate the help. Thank You!

The demo version which was a download, for what ever reason failed to get fully erased. One part of it decided it liked my iMac and refused to leave. I had a friend come by who basically removed all traces somehow, because the dvd version seems to run okay without much fuss.
I got Ver 8.60 and yes it was in the drive when I tried to launch the program. But that last bit of the demo version was the culprit. All is fine now, just have to get a better set up for a joystick. I got a Saitek stick that seemed to work until the program got demanding. Needless to say, guess I'll put some hints out for a father's day gift of a CH stick. Thanks for the help.

Protection for demo software

i am using labview 7.0 with dsc module. Now i had done coding according to my applicaton in softawre. I want to give my software exe cd to customer to observe the software. Now i want that the software exe will not run after 5 days from installation from his pc. After five days if he want to run the software he has to install the exe again. is it possible with labview. If yes please help me.

Hello,
A simple protection it's by creating a file with a strange name on c:\windows. In this file you put the installation date and then every time you run the .exe, the first thing that you do it's checking how many days passed. If the TotalDays > 5 then exit.
All depends on the level of protection.
Other ideas are:
- use one entry on the registry
- verify if the user changes the clock (if don't do that he can always move back and use it)
If you wanna prevent the user rewind the clock, when you create the file with initialDate, create another with currentDate. Then every time you run the exe you verify this date. If the user moved back this date you exit the program. If this value it's greater than the older you should update.

You can't. Trial software is intended to give you the opportunity to evaluat the software to decide whether it suits your needs. If it does, you have to buy a licence to continue using it. Dreamweaver MX 2004 is no longer on sale, so you would need to buy a licence for Dreamweaver CS4.

Adobe Pro updater fails after implementing Cryptolocker software restriction policies - need fix

Hello everyone
As part of our protection against the fast-spreading Cryptolocker virus, I added a Group Policy Object with Software Restriction Policies against executing files in the temp directories that Cryptolocker uses:
%appdata%\*.exe
%appdata%\*\*.exe
%LocalAppData%\*.exe
%LocalAppData%\*\*.exe
e.g. the variable directories %appdata% and %localappdata% and one level down from there
I also blocked executables from running within various "zip" programs.
I learned later (second hand) that Acrobat Pro and Adobe Flash updates have been blocked by this SRP. They either get an explicit message or fail with another error. The update downloads successfully but when you try to install it from the system tray icon it fails.
If I go and find the downloaded .MSP file (I have Acrobat Pro 10 so mine was in c:\program data\adobe\ARM\Acrobat_10.1.5 ) and click "Install", it installs successfully.
We have an administrator account that is unrestricted but doing the updates for people is not a good long term solution.
Can someone experienced with this please tell me if there is a specific executable or executables that I can "whitelist" by adding to my Software Restriction Policy as an "Unrestricted" file. The kicker with the "whitelist" is that I need to bless a specific executable (e.g. I can't unrestrict a directory or give wildcards ... it has to be a fully qualified path and file name).
NOTE: We have mostly Windows 7 machines (non Win 7 are Vista so have the same user directory structure) and a mix of Acrobat Pro 9, X, XI

I have the same issue as you. I notified Adobe that businesses taking action to prevent CryptoLocker are finding themselves unable to update Adobe Acrobat/Reader. I suggested changing the installer location away from the temp directory. The response I got? "We can't change the installer."
What kind of BS answer is that? Why not just say "we don't care about you as a customer" I hope Adobe gets infected with Crypto.

Hi Frank Noe,
Have you connected the device and set it up as specified in the manuals? A good place to look to ensure you have taken the proper setup steps is the 1464 RT's getting started guide. Pay particular attention to the steps listed on pages 8-12. If you have everything connected and setup properly, and are still encountering this issue, take a look in the 1464's user manual in appendix D. On pages D-4 and D-5, the manual lists troubleshooting steps for the device not being listed as a target in VBAI. Hope this helps.

Server half close the connection between localhost:4963 and localhost:8400.
Client(localhost:4964) -> Server(localhost:8400)
Server pushs the message to client via the channel between localhost:4963 and
localhost:8400.
The above flow is from the sample(Publish/Subscribe Messaging (Data Push Use Case).
My question is how to store the channel(4963 <- 8400) after half-closing it? Which code to handle it in the code base?

ABAP Add-on bug on EhP0

This bug is infuriating! I have had it (and reported it) twice now.
The way around it is to install the 3.0 original Add On and then upgrade to the 3.0 SP1 version.
This is the way I did it at a client recently:
Add On Installation
3.0 Add On AOI B600020610634_0000011.PAT u2013 password 8281CA33B6
3.0 SP1 Add On AOU B600020610634_0000022.PAT u2013 password F2F4C333B1
Transport Installation
Then imported transport VSN301_TPO_ECC6_AOI.zip (control file and data file).
