"Internal Job Server error" in Event Viewer
Hi
We are running Crystal Reports Server XI R2 SP2 (11.5.8.826). We have numerous jobs scheduled to run during the day. Each time one of these jobs is scheduled, the Windows Event Viewer returns the error message:
"Internal Job Server error."
The error is now being produced over 100 times per day, and has caused the disk to run out of space - and stopped the system working all together.
We currently have the "-trace" command set on the startup script of the Crystal Reports Job Server - this was recommended by BO to find the cause of an earlier error.
Has anyone experienced this error before? Should we have the "-trace" command set on the server, or is this producing unneccessary error messages?
Thanks all
James
Hello,
If you already have the "-trace" command enabled on the CrystalReport Job server then I would recommend that you go to the logging directory under the folder that you installed Business Objects.
In the logging folder you should see some JobserverChild log files. Start reviewing those files for information as to any failed scheduled reports. Try and isolate the time in which the problem occurs to the time associated to the log files. I would recommend if your system is going down and you are having difficulties reviewing the log files then you may want to create a case in Service Market Place and attach the log files to the case. I hope that helps.

Hi,
We have two SharePoint 2010 SP2 servers with one SQL 2012 Backend.
Recently we cannot open the central administration, getting 500 internal server error and multiple SQL errors in event viewer:
event id 5586 sharepoint foundation unknown sql exception 2812 could not find stored procedure dbo.proc_gettimerlock
event id 5586 sharepoint foundation unknown sql exception 2812 occured could not find stored procedure 'proc_fetchdocforhttpget'
Also I cannot run SharePoint configuration wizard, getting this error: sharepoint 2010 failed to resgister sharepoint services
In the log file, I found this error "an exception of type microsoft.sharepoint.spexception was thrown 0x80131904"
Any ideas?
Thanks, ShehatovichAs You can see below stored procedure has its specific Permission's, check user who is performing action as well as CentralAdministation Pool has right permission and their permissions are not modified from SQL Server.

I faced this error in event viewer when users want to view documents from this third party deployed scan solution
here I have two WFS servers and they configured with load balancing in F5 .
when I enable both servers in F5 I receive this error messages in 2nd server,
when users want to view documents
adilDo you have antiVirus installed on the sharepoint servers?
These folders may have to be excluded from antivirus scanning when you use file-level antivirus software in SharePoint. If these folders are not excluded, you may see unexpected behavior. For example, you may receive "access denied" error messages when files
are uploaded.
Please follow this KB and exclude the folders from Scanning.

Kereros error in event viewer logs.
Hi All,
We have configure Vintella SSO on XI3.1 previously and for some reasons now we have changed to NTLM SSO but still we are observing kerberos error in event viewer logs.
Error1 : Kerberos error was received on log on session , client time and server time etc.
Error 2: Kerberos client received KRB_AP_Error_Modified server host/fully qualified name .THis indicate that password encrypts the kerberos service ticket different than that on target server commonly this is due to identically named machine account in the target realm and the client releams. Please contact your adimistrator.
Please help.
THanks....That's a Microsoft Error coming from a Microsoft log, I can't be sure what's causing it, you need to consult Microsoft.
Usually in their errors the service account that generated it (if by a service account) is one of the details or in the error message. You may need to stop running something with a service account...

These last four errors were shown and generated intermittent communication between the telephony server (CallManager) and the IPCC because all active calls were interrupted.
I searched online documentation but can not get anything to tell me the meaning of these errors, their causes and some plan of action.
I appreciate your support to understand why these errors and explain to the customer the cause of these.
Thanks.
Best Regards.
Ernesto GonzalezHi,
1. CSA denying the Java periodical update process from contacting its server. This can be safely ignored (Java is the platform of UCCX but is updated with a UCCX update, updating Java separately is not necessary, and in fact, not recommended. However, Java contains this periodic update check and - as far as I know - it cannot be turned off programmatically).
2. Tape cleaning required - is there a tape drive attached to the server?
3-7. Temporary network communication issue.

Windows is Scanning and repairing drive... (- Errors in Event Viewer)
Long post, please be patient... :)
I have a fairly new (purchased 8/2013) Lenovo ThinkPad T431s with Windows 8.1 Pro 64-bit (updated from 8.0 -> 8.1). It has a very tricky error coming basically 8 / 10 boots:
Windows is Scanning and repairing drive...
Error details from Windows Event Viewer (a new similar error appears on every boot to event viewer):
A corruption was discovered in the file system structure on volume \?\Volume{f62db2cf-efe4-4b55-a3f7-0e7db991a984}.
A file on the volume is no longer reachable from its parent directory. The parent file reference number is 0x2000000000002. The name of the parent directory is "". The parent index attribute is ":$I30:$INDEX_ALLOCATION". The file reference
number of the file that needs to be reconnected is 0x400000003db80. There may be additional files on the volume that also need to be reconnected to this parent directory.
What has been done 1st trying to fix that:
SSD disk has been changed (image from previous SSD copied back) ->
no solution, error remains
chkdsk /F /R -> no solution, error remains
SFC /scannow -> no solution, error remains
dism /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth -> no solution, error remains after a few boots
TRIED using Windows 8.1 "Update & Recovery -> Refresh Your PC without affecting your files" -> Inserted the Lenovo "Operating System Recovery Disk Windows 8 Pro (OEM Activation 3.0 Required)" BUT Windows did not accept
that DVD claiming "The media inserted is not valid"... ???
Ended up calling Lenovo Support and they instructed me to order the Recovery DVD from
Lenovorecovery.com -> Unfortunatelly Windows does not recognice the DVD(s)...
mountvol returns:
\\?\Volume{4d337687-0033-42f7-8a8e-b6968b533cb3}\
(This is my C:\ drive where Windows installation resides)

*** NO MOUNT POINTS ***
\\?\Volume{33f0062f-0aff-4fd2-8402-1c7911d86897}\
*** NO MOUNT POINTS ***
Then running fsutil dirty query on each returns:
Volume - \\?\Volume{4d337687-0033-42f7-8a8e-b6968b533cb3} is NOT Dirty
Volume - \\?\Volume{e010cf9d-c04d-4c82-b517-3cda1b647fe7} is NOT Dirty

Volume - \\?\Volume{33f0062f-0aff-4fd2-8402-1c7911d86897} is NOT Dirty
The chkdsk on the dirty volume
\\?\Volume{f62db2cf-efe4-4b55-a3f7-0e7db991a984}\ returned:
The type of the file system is NTFS.
Insufficient storage available to create either the shadow copy storage file or
other shadow copy data.
A snapshot error occured while scanning this drive. Run an offline scan and fix.
Diskpart output on the same volume:

Partition 2 Recovery 1000 MB 129 MB
Partition 3 System 260 MB 1129 MB
Partition 4 Primary 146 GB 1389 MB
Partition 5 Recovery 350 MB 147 GB
Partition 6 Recovery 19 GB 148 GB
Questions:
1) Are my Partitions OK, haven't "touched" anything?
2) Excluded the dirty volume from boot checking with chkntfs /x
-> still the Error appears in Event viewer log (but Scanning is skipped/not shown anymore during the boot).
What is causing the error?
3) Why do I have three (3) recovery partitions? What has happened in the past days:
A) Lenovo on-site-Support changed the motherboard -> had no impact on the error (which I expected).
B) I found
instructions how to manually create USB Flash stick with a booting Custom (OEM) Recovery Image.
C) Booted with USB and performed "Refresh your PC without affecting your files."
D) Windows was refreshed but...
-->>
Still the error remains (Windows scanning and repairing drive \?\Volume{f62db2cf-efe4-4b55-a3f7-0e7db991a984} on each and every boot.
1) Related Error in Event viewer (NTFS):
A corruption was discovered in the file system structure on volume \?\Volume{f62db2cf-efe4-4b55-a3f7-0e7db991a984}.
A file on the volume is no longer reachable from its parent directory. The parent file reference number is 0x2000000000002. The name of the parent directory is "". The parent index attribute is ":$I30:$INDEX_ALLOCATION". The file reference number of the
file that needs to be reconnected is 0x400000003db80. There may be additional files on the volume that also need to be reconnected to this parent directory.
2) Related Error in Event viewer (NTFS - Microsoft Windows NTFS):
Volume \\?\Volume{f62db2cf-efe4-4b55-a3f7-0e7db991a984} (\Device\HarddiskVolume5) needs to be taken offline to perform a Full Chkdsk. Please run "CHKDSK /F" locally via the command line, or run "REPAIR-VOLUME <drive:>" locally or remotely via
PowerShell.
-->>
Now Lenovo support is proposing a full re-install (to be performed by myself) of Windows as this is SW issue.
Summary:
- Refreshing my T431s with OEM Image does not help
- The error remains on \?\Volume{f62db2cf-efe4-4b55-a3f7-0e7db991a984} (\Device\HarddiskVolume5; Lenovo Recovery partition) OR at least Windows thinks so... -
Rapidboot Error in Event Viewer

Would appreciate any thoughts. Thanks.
Solved!
Go to Solution.I was able to resolve this issue and the PHCORE (Rapidboot driver) error no longer appears upon boot in Event Viewer.
I noticed that when Rapidboot's executable file (HYPERW764) BSOD'ed, both Superfetch and VSS became disabled in the Services - a big no-no. After re-enabling Superfetch and VSS, I was able to successfully uninstall and reinstall Rapidboot.
I believe the root cause may have been one of my antivirus programs (MSE or Malwarebytes), and since uninstalling them and installing ESET, I have had no issues with Rapidboot. -
Xcode Continuous integration - latestRunSubStatus = internal-credential-server-error
Greetings.
I have been trying to make continuous integration build using Bots with Xcode 5.1(5B130a) from Xcode server (3.1.1). The SCM is configured with external svn repository, which am able to successfully browse from safari.
Am trying to make integration from server web portal & as well as using xcode from development mac. Unfortunately both are failing with "internal-credential-server-error".After chasing my tail fro quite some time, I could get rid of "Internal-checkout-error" , however got stuck again with "internal-credential-server-error".
Though I see some similar errors in other posts, none of them seem to have this particular error. Hence, wanted to know where should I be storing my SVN credentials for successful svn checkout?
Here is the excerpt of my log highlighting the error:

Any help is greatly appreciated!Did anyone find a way around this? I have the exact same error and tried the exact same solution.
The Xcode 5 release notes described a problem that sounds similar.
Communicating with a remote SVN repository over HTTPS can fail with an error similar to “Error validating server certificate for server name.” Edit the file /Library/Server/Xcode/Config/xcsbuildd.plist and change the TrustSelfSignedSSLCertificates key from false to true. Then, from a Terminal window, run: sudo killall xcsbuildd. 14639890

I haven't found a similar fix for Xcode 6 though. -
ADFS 3.0 - Internal Server Error 500, Event ID 342
Hello all,
I have a trouble testing ADFS 3.0 (Windows Server 2012 R2) working in a clean test Azure VM environment.
First, I did a standard setup (DC and a separate ADFS server machine) with all the default settings, letting wizard to set up gMSA service account for the ADFS service. It did not quite work – details below. Then I reinstalled ADFS following this setup guide:
http://www.schmarr.com/Blog/Post/12/Installing-Windows-2012-R2-Server-ADFS-Service-
It did not help.
Here is what happens: when I try to request SAML security token calling: /adfs/services/trust/13/UsernameMixed server responds with http error 500 - internal server error while call to /FederationMetadata/2007-06/FederationMetadata.xml returns expected result.
Please advise. I have no clue what could be wrong. Log messages below.

500 - Internal Server Error - Table or View does not Exist
When trying to use the sample restful service oracle.example.hr I get a 500 - Internal Server Error.
I have no clue what to do next. I've even tried granting public to the emp table. Nottin.
Any insight you could give would be awesome.
Here is the error:

HTTP 500 - Internal Server Error from Discoverer Viewer to Portal
HI,
I created a tab with a list of workbooks created with Discoverer Viewer and published with Discoverer Portliest Provider (List of Database Workbooks). Another tab contains four Discoverer Worksheets created with the same account. Everything works well but if i click on a report in list and open Discoverer Viewer, when i return to portal and go to tab containing worksheets i see message "HTTP 500 - Internal Server Error" and i'm not able to do anything. I only can close my browser and i must reconnect to portal!
Can you help me?
My portal version is cg (9.0.4), i'm using Windows 2000 ESP and Internet Explorer 6.
I tried with Olin and Mazola but result did not change.
I used a public connection bud i tried a private connection too. Nothing happened. The application.log file, under the OC4J which running your Discoverer provider, should give you some hints about the problem you're facing.

Error in Event viewer - COM Server application security Issue
Dear All,
I am installing one software on windows cluster environment. But while installing I am getting continuous error in System in Event Viewer as 'The application-specific permission settings do not grant Local Activation permission for the COM Server application
with CLSID {xxxxxxxxxxxxx} and APPID {xxxxxxxxxxxxx} to the user NT SERVICE\SQL Server Distributed Replay Client SID (S-1-5-80-3249811479-4343554-65656-65665) from address LocalHost (Using LRPC). The security permission can be modified using the Component
Services administrative tool.'
I have seen in component services, that app ID I am getting for DReplayController service. On security tab if I want to give permission to that particular user then to which user I want to add in 'Launch and Activate permissions'. I am not getting 'SQL Server
Distributed Replay Controller' user in list.
So, please help me.
