Internal monitor ,debug service and Workflow Document Web Services Service

hi,
I have my production oracle apps:R12 12.0.6 ,RHEL 4
showing following error in oracle forms:
internal monitor showing actual 0 and target 1,debug service actual 0 and target 1 and Workflow Document Web Services Service actual 0 and target 1.
Please reply urgently

Hi,
It means, those managers are down.
1. Did you try to restart "Workflow Document Web Services Service" by clicking restart button from Administor Screen ?
2. Were they up and running ? if yes, was there any recent change ?
3. Please check internal manager log and look for any error
4. Use the below Navigation to get more details
From OAM > workflow > Service components > click Web Services OUT Agent > View Log
Thanks

  • What is the workflow document web services service?

Workflow approval message is stuck in the inbox. It mail_status is mail. It's status is open.
I can see the approval message in the inbox and it is holding up other emails as it's just sitting there.
I can't see any reason for it to be sitting there so I bounced the WF Notification Mailer using:
service_components -> WorkflowMailer Service -> Stop All wait for it to stop completely then -> start all
So after starting all -> the workflow services (all 3 ) State is Activated, but there is a Big red X in the Status and the status of the workflow I'm trying to get out of the inbox is still open.
There is nothing in the logs yet so I can't see what that big red X means.
So I decide to stop and start the WF services one by one.
I stop workflow document web services service first. As soon as it starts to stop, the Worfkflow agent listener and the Workflow Mailer suddenly start up, the big red X goes away and the messages in the inbox all process.
What's up with that? What is " the workflow document web services service?" and why is it hanging my Mailer?

  • Satellite C660D - internal monitor not working

    Hi Guys
I connected an external monitor to my satelite C660D win 7 64bit laptop and the on board screen stopped working
I went to the monitor settings and could only find the on board monitor restarted without the ext monitor and it started fine but with no display. Restarted again with ext monitor and the ext monitor is all that i have to work with re installed win 7 and the same problem exists is the mother board shot or is it a setting
    Andy39
    help please

    Hi
there is absolutely no life in the internal monitor at all and pressing the fn f5 key does nothing either except the mouse pointer just flickers. A long time ago like a year or so we had issues with the OS so I bought a new copy of windows 7 and installed it in the process removing all the toshiba features like the backup and system preserved partition which could also be part of my problem

  • How can I authenticate and authorize with Web Service on ESB ?

    Hello,
I want to authenticate and authorize client with Web Service published
    by HTTP/SOAP BC.
Simply if it is an Web Service as J2EE application, I will use
Basic Authentication with JAX-RPC and Realm.
But I think that Web Service published by HTTP/SOAP BC is not belong

  • How to monitor RAC services and nodeapps in Grid Control

    Hi,
I have created a number of RAC service names such as GL on a 2-node RAC and would like to use Grid control 10.2.0.2 to monitor the availability of those services and nodeapps. I was not able to find anything in Grid Control that would allow me to configure that. What are being monitored now are the listeners, database instances and nodes. Would it be possible to monitor more than just the RAC listeners, instances and nodes?
    thanks.

I don´t think that there is an out-of-the-box metric. However, CRS monitors your services and Grid Control monitors CRS errors. If you need more granular monitoring, I have 2 suggestions:
    1) user callouts:
    2) extending oracle enterprise manager
I have written a paper on how to extend oem at [http://www.ora-solutions.net/web/papers/]
"Extending Oracle Enterprise Manager to collect HP-UX glance data"
You can follow the instructions to build a new target type called "RAC_SERVICE" and add your serivces as targets, e.g. S_BATCH, S_ONLINE, S_HR.

  • How to create items and BOMs using web services

    Hi All,
I need to create, change and read Items and BOMs through web services (using SOA Gateway, right). I found this one here: "Process Item (convenience wrapper version)" or "Process Item" within
    Internal Name     EGO_ITEM_PUB
    Type               PL/SQL
    Product          Advanced Product Catalog
    Status          Active
    Business Entity     Catalog Item
Right now, I don't know how to use it. If somebody has a simple example to create a single item, this would be perfect! Which one would be the right one to read detailed information about an existing item?
The second object I need to maintain (create, change and read) is BOM. Which API can I use here?
btw: I use EBS 12.1.1 on windows.
    Many thanks,
    Konrad

    Hi!
Thanks for your quick answer but unfortunately, I must admit that I'm an absolute beginner with Oracle and EBS and so things like:
Enable trace and generate the tkprof file or open the form using forms builder to get the name of the API used in thta screen.or
Please check e-trm site for your question do not help me to much :-(
    Any other advice?

  • Creating and Setting up web services for both inbound and outbound comms

    Hi
I would like to know the process of setting up inbound and outbound web services using Siebel - is there a tech note /bookshelf article that can guide me through to setting up a 'new/custom' web service.
I have read up on bookshelf that both business services and workflows can be setup/exposed as web services. Now i would like to find out how to do this.
    Any help appreciated.
    Regards,
    TS

As you begin to experiment with web services you should take a look at SoapUI. It is a freeware program that makes it a breeze to test both inbound an outbound web service calls. The bonus is that it can also be used to trace what HTTP is going back and forth along with giving you the ability to chain calls together. That is particularly useful for example if you are learning how to do web service calls within the context of a session. http://www.soapui.com/

  • Internal Server Error (NullPointerException) when invoking a Web Service

I'm using SOA suite 10.1.3.3 (incl the latest patch set) on Windows XP.
I've created 3 web services using the wizard interface out of 3 existing WSDL files. The Java code inside the web services is just dummy code.
I'm testing the web services using the Test Web Service functionality in Oracle Enterprise Manager's Application Server Control.
The moment I fill in the data and press invoke, I get back the following fault:
    <env:Body>
    <env:Fault>
    <faultcode>env:Server</faultcode>
<faultstring>Internal Server Error (Caught exception while handling request: java.lang.NullPointerException)</faultstring>
    </env:Fault>
    </env:Body>
I know that control never reaches inside the services themselves.
I've even followed the online demo that shows users how to create, deploy and test a Web Service in JDeveloper to make sure that I wasn't doing anything silly.
What could be wrong? Please help.
    Thanks in advance.

  • How to integrate Microsoft and SAP using Web Services?

    Hi All
How to integrate Microsoft and SAP using Web Services? If any one has document please send it to me. My id is [email protected]... Please
    Help me
    Best Regards
    Ravi Shankar

    Hi Ravi,
This is for Customizing Email and Other Web Services.
    Create addresses
The address maintenance of R/3 users is carried out either via the R/3 User Maintenance (Transaction SU01) or the Private office settings (Transaction SO12):
    Address --> Other communication...
Selection of the required communication service.
    Enter address.
    Copy or save.
    b) Configuration of SAPconnect (Transaction SCOT)
    Set communication method
    4.0 + 4.5: Goto --> Customizing --> Communication methods
as of 4.6: Settings --> Communication methods
Set the method of the required communication service to the value 'SAPCONNECT' and save the setting.
Customized the same for Internet mailing.
    C) If you want to Transfer Table Structure Values from SAP R/3 to Web Services then
           1. Create BAPI and Transfer whichever things you want.(Note: The Structure
of BAPI should be similar to Web Structure (Datatypes).
           2. Create a BDC and Schedule it in the Background.
Hope it helps you, Awaiting for the Reward Points.
    Thanks

  • (261680070) Q WWO-13 What are the difference between WLS6.1 and WLS7.0 web services?

Q<WWO-13> What are the difference between WLS6.1 and WLS7.0 web services?
A<WWO-13> The differences are huge, so different in fact that 6.1 web services cannot
be deployed in 7.0. WLS7.0 and Workshop have much greater functionality than the
limited stateless session (RPC-style) and JMS destination (MSG-style) approach of
6.1. Workshop web services can interact with any type of EJB, any JMS destination
as well as other web services and directly accessing databases. The framework for
building the web service is better and more adaptable and Workshop provides a fully
integrated develop, deploy, test and debug environment. Additionally, WLS7.0 have
the capacity to be much better at performance since due to XML parser enhancements
and the addition of XML maps.

If you want to take existing WLS6.1 web services and convert them to WLS7.0 you can
do so quite easily. The WLS7.0 Ant still supports wsgen so you do not need to even
change your build.xml file. The generated web service however will be implemented
is a manner compliant with the WLS7.0 environment. More details are at:

  • How to install and consume GroupWise Web Service (SOAP)

Hello! I'm Razvan, programmer from Romnia, and I am new to GroupWise development.
I am asking if anyone could help me with a C# Visual Studio 2010 example of how to install and consume GroupWise Web Service (SOAP).
The documentation from novell site didn't help me, i didn't understant much of it.
All I need is either a link to a documented GroupWise C# developer step-by-step tutorial, or some code examples.
Can you please show me some code examples in C# with:
1)loging in using a username and a password,
    2)retrieving contact list,
    3)retrieving appointment list,
    4)sending a mail,
    5)setting an appointment
I don't know how to use "groupwise.wsdl" and customise it so that it points to our GroupWise server.
Please, I really need this because I am working at a project right now which involves GroupWise integration.
I hope I haven't disturbed anyone with my simple question.
I know this might be a very simple question given the complexity of the other posts here, but that's why I really hope I will get an answer soon.
    Thank you very much!

  • BPS on WEB and Workflow Tool

    Hello great people,
I’m implementing SEM-BPS 4.0 in an insurance company. When I arrived here the BBP has been already delivered, and the description of the SEM-BPS functionalities in BBP were in a very high level and because of that I’m facing some problems.
I have to decide whether I should deliver SEM on WEB or not as well as in what tool the workflow to implement should be developed. I had never worked with the WEB tools.
I have already searched for this and I know that Status and Tracking System only works in Web, and SAP Business Workflow works in WEB and GUI.
I would like to develop something that was a mix of the two tools (Planning in SAP-GUI and Approving in WEB). For you to understand my idea I will give you an example with all the steps.
    1.     The Planning Manager sends an email to all the Controllers telling them that they can start the panning process.
    2.     The Controller executes the Planning.
    3.     The Controller Supervisor receives an email with the indication that the planning is ready for validation.
    4.     The Controller supervisor analyses the data entered by the controller, and disapproves the planning. After this the Controller receives an e-mail with the correction instructions.
    5.     The Controller executes the corrections.
    6.     The Controller Supervisor Receives another email with the indication that the planning is ready for validation.
    7.     The Controller supervisor analyses the data entered by the controller, and approves the planning.
    8.     The Director receives an email with the indication that the planning is ready for validation.
    9.     The Controller supervisor analyses the data entered by the controller, and approves the planning.
According to your experience, what tools do you suggest me to use?
I have to communicate my client what tool it will use in next Thursday.
    Thanks in advance.
