Internal Rx Errors: on gig uplinks (CSS11150)
Has anyone ever ran across what causes "Internal Rx Errors:"? I've noticed that this counter is increasing quite rapidly, after clearing the interface stats first of course. This is occuring on my uplink interfaces (e13 and e14) which are the gig interfaces on the CSS. I've found an explanation of the errors in the CSS documentation:
"Internal RX Errors
The number of frames for which reception on the interface failed due to an internal MAC sublayer receive error."
But I'm still a little unclear about how to go about how to rid the CSS of these errors as well as what is and isn't acceptable as a threshold for these errors.
Thanks in advance,
cdeeds
We have encountered the same errors on our CSS11150's.
Configuration #1:
Servers <-GigE-> Cat4006 <-GigE-> CSS11150 <-FastE-> Firewall.
In configuration #1, the "Internal RX Errors" for the GigE ports on the CSS were indicate drops due to contention for slower egress ports (ingress is GigEthernet, egress is FastEthernet). We have decided to use configuration #2 (we no longer use the CSS GigEthernet ports). We are letting the Cat4006 switch take care of the GigE-to-FastE buffering, but this does not appear to have improved the situation.
Configuration #2:
Servers <-GigE-> Cat4006 <-FastE-> CSS11150 <-FastE-> Firewall.
With configuration #2, the CSS is no longer logging the "Internal RX Errors" for the GigE ports. Instead, the Cat4006 is now logging "txQueueNotAvailable" errors for the FastEthernet port connected to the CSS.
Basically, GigE flow control doesn't seem to work between our servers and the Cat4006 and CSS switch ports. Luckily, all of the sensitive/critical applications hosted on our servers run on TCP (which takes care of retransmission)!
Hope this makes sense...

Dbconsole 500 Internal Server Error
Oracle 10.1.0.2 (its a test box, I do have the patch to 10.1.0.5 but its not installed)
Windows Server 2003
Not using the grid control
We had some issues with some of our test databases last night it would seem, in the D:\Oracle\Product\Db_1\server.domain.com_SVM1\sysman\recv\errors folder we received about 6 gig's of .err files with file names like A0000001648.err_2007_11_14_08_30_29 and are about 2mb in size each
All these files caused my drive to run out of space (its just a test box so its pretty small) which caused all my databases to pitch a fit.
I wanted to see if I could find WHY this is happening, so I went to log into dbconsole em for my SVM1 database by going to http://server.domain.com:5002/em
I logged in as sysman and I get the following error (I get this for ALL databases, not just SVM1)

500 Internal Server error for a single report in a dashboard
Hi All,
I had an issue with a report in a dashboard i.e.., In a dashboard a report is prepared by using the opaque view. When I ran the report in a dashboard it ran for about 15 to 20 mins and the report is excuted with the data. Now I tried to downlaod the data for that particular report into the excel sheet by using the option Download to Excel. At this stage after 5 mins I am facing the Internal serevr error. But strange behaviour is that it downloads sometimes and sometimes it does'nt. One more important thing is that I tested the query in backend and it took around 6 to 7 mins to fetch the data. The total no of rows for the query is only 166. So can anyone please give me some suggestions or we can have a discussion as this report is behaving strangely. One more thing I forgot to mention is that they used session variables as parameters in the query for two fields which they used in the opaque view to build that report.
Thanks,
SandyHi Arun,
where can i check with that whether in DEV/PROD system...?

Error 500--Internal Server Error while opening a taskflow in inline popup
Hi,
I am getting "Error 500--Internal Server Error" while opening a bounded taskflow as a popup from another bounded taskflow containing page fragments. The popup taskflow contains jspx pages. I even removed the jspx pages from the popup taskflow to check if the error is resulting from the bindings on the pages but still I get the same error. The entire stack trace of the error in the popup dialog is :

Thanks,
KKHi Frank,
Thanks for the reply. I am using it as an inline popup. I am trying to create command links dynamically in an iterator. When a link is clicked a popup window opens. The text of the link is passed to the popup window by creating a variable in the session scope ( I even tried request scope) by an action listener in the backing bean.
I tried to create another simple application with a static command button which passes its text to popup window through a session scope variable. It worked fine. I am not sure why the same procedure is not working in my original application. Can you give me a hint what could possibly go wrong according the exception stack trace ?
Thanks,

As2 receiver channel, SEEBURGER AS2: 500 Internal Server Error
Hi,
There is one scenario in our landscape, its running in production, Proxy to As2. The interface working fine for last 2 weeks, today its showing error in As2 receiver channel saying
Message processing failed. Cause: javax.resource.ResourceException: Fatal exception: javax.resource.ResourceException: SEEBURGER AS2: 500 Internal Server Error # , SEEBURGER AS2: 500 Internal Server Error #
I have searched in forum, but couldnt get much idea on why this error encounters and how can we resolve it.
Kindly provide your inputs to help me resolve this.
Thanks,
RuchiHi Ruchi,
500 means the requested server does not understand the request (the requested service is unknown). The reason is obvisiously outside of PI. You have to contact the 3rd party owner and ask why the system is refusing the request instead of responsing like before.

order by col1;
The query is fine and works properly.
But when i try to open the POP-UP window, instead of displaying the List of values it gives a message "Internal Server Error" .
The error on the error log at the server is as belows:
[Fri Aug 11 14:46:04 2006] [error] [client 192.162.1.173] [ecid: 1155287764:192.162.1.227:5037:0:3454,0] mod_plsql: /pls/ilclpdv3/wwv_flow_utilities.gen_popup_list HTTP-500 ORA-02005: implicit (-1) length not valid for this bind or define datatype
When I remove any 3 'AND' conditions from the where clause it works properly.
I hope its with the size of the LOV query.
is there aany way to overcome it.
Thanks
Ameya.Ameya - That is correct. You may have to call a function from within the query to shorten it. The function can refer to the page items using v('ITEM') notation. In APEX 2.2, the popup LOV implementation has been improved somewhat so that this kind of thing should not occur.

SharePoint 2010 Search Error: "Internal server error exception"
Hi,
We have a SharePoint 2010 Farm with 5 servers:
1 SQL Server Cluster
2 WFE
1 Index Server
1 Search Server
Please see bellow a more detailed specification. Our DNS is using a Load Balancer
It turns out that when it uses one WFE (SERVWFE05) it throws this error:
SharePoint 2010 Search Error: "Internal server error exception"
when it uses the other one (SERVWFE06) it works.
What can be wrong?

Any idea ?
regardsHi!
I believe it is a problem regarding the preferred language for the user:
"Internal server error exception: System.ArgumentNullException: Value cannot be null. Parameter
name: The property RequestedLanguage cant not set to NULL "
Please refer to this thread (http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/230896a4-a928-4b44-91a2-3e7f767b8b3f/internal-server-error-exception-on-search-results-page-when-no-language-is-set-in-browser?forum=sharepointgeneralprevious)
as I think it's related.

Can anybody help me find a solution for this issue.
ThanksAfter making sure that all services are up and running, I had to deactive and activate the "SharePoint Server Site Search" web site collection feature. Then the search started working for the time being.
However, it throws the error again after 8 to 9 hours. This has been happening for last couple of weeks. I also came to know from my windows server team that they moved the AD from one place to another. Since then I am having this issue.
The log file has the following error:

Hello Guys,
We are running ebs 12.1.3 on OEL6. Upon logon today I was a prompt to chage the sysadmin's password. I ended using FNDCPASS for a successful change:
FNDCPASS apps/apps 0 Y system/xxxxx USER SYSADMIN xxxxx
Since then I have been unable to connect into the apps with its URL - I am getting
"500 Internal Server Error" Servlet error: An exception occurred. The current application deployment descriptors do not allow for including it in this response. Please consult the application log for details.
