Internal table in se24

Hi ,
How to declar the 'TYPE TABLE OF' in se24.
Please spend some time actually looking for the answer. There is plenty of info on this available if you actually search. Thread locked.

this was already explained in another post. So be so kind and explain what it is exactly that is not working.
Can't you find the button 'Types' (at the top of the screen).
Do you already have a method in which you can declare this internal table?
will it be part of the interface of one of the methods?
Is the latter is the case, then is this method called from within the class itself or from the outside?
We need a bit more info to be able to really help you.

Raja's method will work for all tables irrespective of the structure and is the best possible approach. However, if your requirement is simple and you do not have to deal with a lot many tables,
1. Create a Type-Pool, suppose ztypl
2. Within the type pool, declare a Structure type,
TYPES: BEGIN OF ztypl_struct1,
         "Place your fields here
       END OF ztypl_strict1,
       "Create a table of type ztypl_struct1 here
       ztypl_table1 TYPE TABLE OF ztypl_struct1.
Use "ZTYPL_TABLE1" as the "Associated type" in your method's Parameter definition in SE24.
eg.
IT_TABLE      TYPE     ZTYPL_TABLE1
If you are writing your class in an include,
    METHODS my_method1
      IMPORTING
        it_table1   TYPE ztypl_table1.
Do remember to include
TYPE-POOLS: ztypl.
in your class's Constructor / Include program.

Export internal table from report to web-dynpro

Hi,
I am trying to export an internal table from a report to my web dynpro pragram however its not working.
Statement used in my report -
EXPORT it_ordbk FROM it_ordbk TO MEMORY ID 'ZORDBK'.
Statement used in my web dynpro program
IMPORT it_ordbk to it_ordbk FROM MEMORY ID 'ZORDBK'.
This dynpro application is being called in HTML container on the screen.

do not use export or import in Webdynpro.
try to create a class with global variables and in the report or at the place of Export fille the data .
and next in the place of Import memory to to call the global variable in the webdynpro and fill the internal table
go to se24> create a zclasss-> methods initialize>create a ztable same as export table and also declare in glaobal vairaible
--> next in the webdynpro program -->call the method retrive and push the global data to internal table.

How to return an internal table with methods ?

I am an Java programmer and very new to ABAP.
How do I return a internal table with a method? I have the table GP1_PRODUCTS and want to return a copy of this table as an internal table called PRODUCTS.

You have to create a table type for your table GP1_PRODUCTS.
If you use global class (created in SE24), than:
Create a Table Type in SE11
Go to SE11, Enter a name like ZPRODUCTS in the Data Type
There will be popup when you press the Create button to decide a type. Select the Table Type
Enter GP1_PRODUCTS in the Line Type.

If you use local class:
TYPES: ty_products type standard table of GP1_PRODUCTS..

Passing a program defined internal table to an abap object

Hi. I have an internal table that was previously defined and created by SAP that I need to process in a user exit. The table is defined exactly as shown below.
Is it possible to pass a table that was defined in this manner (not in the ABAP dictionary) as an argument to a method of an ABAP object?
If so, what would the data type of the itab parameter have to be when defining the object's method parameter list? Is it necessary to somehow "cast it" to the KNA1 table type once I receive the table into the method? If so, what is the data type of the object's receiving variable/attribute?

Just as one additional piece of information, I am using version 4.5B and I am trying to do this through se24.

WITHOUT HAVING TO DEFINE
LINE TYPE IN SE11.
1. doing this simply u will achieve what u want.
( i just tried the same)
2. in se24,
give like this

3. in the calling program,
call like this,
report abc.

How to read the method and put that code in 1 internal table

Actually in the normal ABAP, if we want to read the report, then we will write read report statement.
If we want to read method then this statement will not work.
So, to read the method and put that code in 1 internal table , which statement we need to write?

As, i am not aware of ABAP Objects i am having some issues:
Actually that is working for some methods in some classes.
Here 1 issue is there:
In se24 1 method is there in 1 class.
Even by using that FM in SE37 i am able to get the program name by giving class and method name,
but while using that FM in the program i am not able to get that program name.
so, i am unable to read the source code of the program?
1 example here:
Class name is CL_GUI_FRONTEND_SERVICES.
in this class, methods like FILE_EXIST , FILE_GET_SIZE, etc are there.
By giving the class name and method name i am able to get the program name also,
but while using that FM in the program i am not able to get that program name.
so, i am unable to read the source code of the program?

Sy-tabix for internal table in smartform

How to capture the sy-tabix value for the entries in an internal table which has been looped into the loop of table node of a smartform?? I need to print something immedaitely after the end of the table
For every record the value of sy-tabix is showing 1 !!

Give ur sy-tabix at the end of the loop.
loop at itab.

give a seperate loop for this.
loop at itab.
sy-tabix.
endloop
get the total no and print it after the table.
If u r using do loop then give sy-index.

Regarding Exporting and Importing internal table

Hello Experts,
I have two programs:
1) Main program: It create batch jobs through open_job,submit and close job.Giving sub program as SUBMIT.
I am using Export IT to memory id 'MID' to export internal table data to sap memory in the subprogram.
The data will be processed in the subprogram and exporting data to sap memory.I need this data in the main program(And using import to get the data,but it is not working).
Importing IT1 from memory id 'MID' to import the table data in the main program after completing the job(SUBMIT SUBPROGRAM AND RETURN).
Importing is not getting data to internal table.
Can you please suggest something to solve this issue.

I suggest you look into "simple transformations". That's SAP's most recent technology for such purposes, as far as I know.

Need suggestion in uploading dynamic excel file to corresponding columns of internal table

I have an excel file which doesn't have standard template. Just the users will key in their header (in row1 ) and followed by item details in excel and upload to internal table. Now by doing some internal developments in program I need to place the values in corresponding fields.

Hi Kumar,
use a temporary table to get excel values and then parse them to a second table with the format you want.

How to populate data in dynamic internal table

How to upload a file in application server to an internal table

Hi,
 I am asked to upload a file from application server to internal table. Can you please suggest me the ways to do it or the function module which helps to browse the application server file names.

Hello expert,
i have 3 internal table: gt_header, gt_body and gt_footer. how can i used all 3 in gui_download fm. here is my sample code:

Maybe you can declare another internal table, with all fields is type C and length as you wanted.
Loop those three itabs, append to this new itab. then call this FM download.
