International Calling Not Conneting

y wife and I have identical #GS iPhones and have configured them the same. When we arrivedL in London today, my phone immediately and effortlessly connected with one of the UK networks (O2) and is working fine. Not so with my wife's phone, however. Under "Network," her phone identifies the same for local UK networks that mine phone did, but won't connect to any of them. Trying to do so produces a message to the effect that the network is unavailable. Her reception icon continually reads either "Searching or "No Service."
Any help would be much appreciated. I've tried everything I can think of but to no avail. We need to be able to use her phone here in London and I appreciate your help.
Thanks!

Each phone line that will be used overseas needs to have international roaming activated on the line by AT&T. You'll need to contact AT&T to have that activated on her line. Call them at +1-916-843-4685.

  • International call not working to +380

i just refilled my account, and i tried to make international call it make ringing beep then nothing happens, i called myself it rings once then it hangup ... what you think about this?
and it took 0.3C for a no answer? i only hear a strange beep then a beep in the other beeps, any one can help?

    jp,
I don't have an i pad, so I'm not sure if this solution will work.  Generally speaking, devices which utilize Facetime must have the proper time zone setting for the location they are in.  Since it appears that the in-laws have just relocated to Paris, it is possible they are using their old time/date setting.  I think the time zone setting is important because it determines which FT servers the calls are routed to.

  • Free 60 mins of international calls not working

I received 60 mins of the international calls to phones with my laptop purchase and I have activated those 60 mins.  Once I try to do a call though (to Austraila) it says I do not have enough credit to make the call, even though I have not used one minute of my credit yet. Ideas?

I am having similar problem here. For past 2 months if I try to video call or call the person who is in Korea, the call doesn't go through. However, if I call mobile using my Skype money, it works well. I might have to switch to other company.

    Hello
Please do NOT post duplicates. This will delay a response to you while your duplicate post is removed.
Your issue has nothing to do with Skype. The local telco in Saudi Arabia disconnects all outbound VoIP traffic including Skype to project their own State Monopoly. Try accessing the internet using a VPN.

  • I am not able to make International calls from iPhone 5s

I got this new iphone 5s as a gift a week days ago, and It was working all great for 2-3 days. But from last 4days i AM not able to make international calls
Whenever I dial, I can't hear any ring going on and all I can hear is my own voice reverting back to me. Moreoever I am being charged for every call I make. I tried restarting my device, Also by connecting to itunes to find if any Update is needed but it says my iOS7 is recent no updates needed.
    Urgent help needed
    Thanks in advance.

A call is a call so far as the phone is concerned. Internation or across the street, it doesn't diferentiate between them.

  • UCCE Not Ready Reason Code Removed after Internal Call

Here is the scenario.  Agent puts themselves Not Ready which we have set to require a Not Ready reason.  They enter the reason and go about their business.  Someone internally calls their extension for whatever reason.  The agent takes the call and hangs up.  It seems they are left Not Ready but the reason for being Not Ready is removed.  They are now in a undefined not ready code.  Can it be set to put them back in the Not Ready Reason they were prior to the internal call?  Here is what we are running:
    CUCM: 8.0.3.21900-8
    ICM: 8.0(3)  (8.0 SR 8.03)
    CTIOS: 8.0(3)
    CAD: 8.0(1) (build: 8.0.1.47)
    JTAPTI: 8.0(3.10000)

    Hi Brad,
As I understand that the agent before receiving the internal call the agent already went to Not Ready. So after the internal call depending on the wrap-up setting agent will either go to the wrap-up node or directly to the Not Ready state.
If agent goes to wrap-up then need to provide the wrap-up code and after wrap-up need to select Ready or Not Ready. In this case agent will not get any option to select Not Ready. Because prior receiving the inter call the agent was in Not Ready state. By default this is how it works.
But if you use CTIOS agent desktop then with customizing the call event. For example customize the CTIOS code in such was that for internal calls after agent press the wrap-up complete button instead of going back to previous event it will go to the Not Ready event.
Unfortunately for your case it will not work as you are using CAD.
    Thanks,
    Ashfaque

  • I cannot beleive VZW does not have a way to black ALL international calls

My husband has been receiving harassing international call for well over a year. He answered the first few and there were a couple of girls laughing and speaking in a foreign language. He has not answered these calls since but they will not stop. Yesterday he received 33 calls from the same number. They use so many different numbers and area codes it is impossible to block them all. VZW of course wants him to change his number but it is a business number and they may be too costly to us. So yesterday I had to sign up for usage controls which is $5 a month/ $60 per year to try to stop them. I load in the max of 20 numbers allowed by VZ to block and this morning when we checked his phone the was a totally different number on the missed call list!
I cannot believe a company as technically advanced as VZ does not have a way to block ALL international calls.
Does anyone have any suggestions other than changing his number?

Hi, Thilina66.  You say you have entered the country code but still cannot make international calls.  I suppose you are adding the international access code before the country code.  This internaltional access code (011 in the US, 00 in Europe, etc.) can be substituted by adding a + sign before the country code.
For example, to call a number in the UK from the US you have to dial:
    011 44 7540 267898
    or
    +44 7540 267898
To call a number in the US from the UK you have to dial:
    00 1 212 456 1470
    or
    +1 212 456 1470
Please check that the contact number in your address book is correctly written if you are dialing directly from the address book or that you enter the correct numbers in the keyboard if you are dialing from the keyboard.

  • Can not make international calls on my internation...

Every time I to make a call to mexico i am told i do not have enough skype credit yet I have been billed by for the international plan, what is the deal, Skype support really seems to suck, I can not even find a link to send them an email in the support pages over this

I am having the same problem. I see this post is several years old. Any answers? I signed up for the international calling plan, but when I try to make a call to Nicaragua it says I don't have enough Skype credits. I am also frustrated in trying to find an answer. I trust that it's a simple problem, but I am frustrated nonetheless.

  • CDR not showing internal calls

I am trying to get a handle on call volume but my CDR records dont seem to be showing any internal call infomation. I am having trouble finding information explaining how to set this up. Any help would be appreciated. I am still using Call Manager 6.1.3

    Chris,
When looking at the CDR in excel I am looking for calls that originate and terminate at a 4 digit internal extension. Maybe I just cant read a CDR record but every call looks like it originates outside our network.

  • Internal speakers not working after upgrading to Maverics

internal speakers not working after upgrading to Maverics

There are many possible causes for this issue. Take each of the following steps that you haven't already tried.
    1. Start with the steps recommended in this support article. Don't skip any of the steps. It's the starting point for further efforts to solve the problem.
    2. Run Software Update and make sure you have a fully up-to-date installation of OS X.
    3. If you've installed an application called "Memory Clean" or any other third-party software that is supposed to "clean" or "purge" memory automatically, remove it according to the developer's instructions and restart. You should do that even if the software is not causing the problem, because it's useless.
    4. If you've installed a software equalizer called "Boom" or anything similar, update or delete it and restart.
    5. If an AirPlay device is selected for sound output from iTunes (or from other applications via third-party software such as "Airfoil"), deselect it.
    6. Launch the application "Audio MIDI Setup" by entering the first few letters of its name in a Spotlight search and selecting it in the results (it should be at the top.) Select the Output tab. If the Mute boxes are checked, uncheck them. Move the Volume sliders all the way to the right.
    7. If a red light is coming from the audio-out port, the internal switch is stuck in the position for digital output. You may be able to free it by inserting and removing a mini-stereo jack of the proper size. Inserting any kind of tool in the port may cause damage that won't be covered by your warranty.
If there's no red light, the switch may still be stuck in the headphone position. Try to free it the same way.
    8. Disconnect all wired peripherals except keyboard and mouse, if applicable. If more than one display is connected, disconnect all extra ones. Restart and test.
    9. If you have a MacBook Air, turn off Bluetooth and restart.
    10. Start up in safe mode. Don't log in; just restart as usual when the login screen appears. When you do, make sure the words "Safe Boot" do not appear in the login screen. If they do, the system is still in safe mode and sound won't work.
    11. Reset the NVRAM.
    12. Reset the SMC.
    13. Reinstall OS X after backing up all data.
    14. Make a "Genius" appointment at an Apple Store.

  • Decline call not working

Having an issue with J4W 9.1 with any 79XX phone when in deskphone mode.  I hit decline, but the phone keeps ringing.  iDivert works fine on the softkey the phone itself.

    tpfrankli-
I am assuming you are able to ignore internal calls without a problem? If so, that is because your VM Pilot number is reachable in that partition. I ran into this exact same problem - where I could decline internal, but nothing that came through a gateway. The fix was to add the inside partition (or parition that contains your VM Pilot) to the affected gateways and it began to work.
Our theory is that when using deskphone control it is not being treated as an iDivert, but as a CTI redirect to the VM Pilot defined by the VM profile.
I think adding that partition to your gateways will fix you right up.
