International product pricing

I have been a loyal customer of Photoshop CS for years now, and religiously buy every upgrade.
I live in Spain but use an English OS, and therefore always buy English language versions. When I saw that CS6 was available I went to the main Adobe.com website shop. Upgrade from Photoshop CS5 to CS6 available at $199 dollars excluding shipping...... great!
Unfortunately the default webshop is obvioulsy in the USA, and it doesn't allow me to buy (download or disc), but refers me to the Spanish webshop instead. An English upgrade is available, so fair enough. Well, actually, not fair at all...... In Spain the same software will cost me 234 Euros, which is the equivalent of about $300 for the very same software (regardless of whether I download or ship)!!!! More that 50% difference!!!!
OK, so one might argue that Adobe is a US company, but in the age of downloaded software how can this possibly make any difference? It just smells like a blatant and obvious rip-off.
Another post a few moments ago was complaining about having to pay phone charges for software/sales suppport, but I'll bet that didn't add up to $100 (the difference between the US and Spanish pricing)

Seriously, no one knew they were ven announcing a new name for the PowerBook outside of the Apple Campus until Steve announced it. Why would anyone know the unannounced codename?

Internal production Labels

I have a question on Handling unit management, we are using this application for product traceability.
Creating internal labels for semi finished products & customer labels/internal labels for finished products. Following information required on the label (Material #, HU #, description, Mfg. date etc.).
1. What stage we can create labels for HU's planned (finished product - customer specific with packaging determination) for production order at the time of release and what transaction (with planning HU / GR / confirmation).
2. What stage we can create labels for semi finished product for production order at the time of production and what transaction (with GR or confirmations).
Please help me in this issue

Product Pricing Problem..?

I have a Product of type variableSetItem.. it contains one childSku.. that childSku in turn contains *2 bundle links*... among the 2 bundle links one is selectable-sku which has 3 SKUs ($12.45).. another link points to fixed-sku($3.60).. Now the problem is., i want to display 2 select boxes to select 2 skus from first bundle link.. & second bundle link's fixed SKU is given along with the other 2 selected SKUs.. That is, price is like ($12.45+$12.45+$3.60) .. Here, i want to display a message simply that fixed SKU comes along with other 2 selected SKUs..
can u suggest way to make it possible..

Pls split the problem as follows.
In the system perspective, what will differentiate the internal sales from general sales or spare parts sale. To my understanding, if soemthing is sold for internal sales, it is sold in a particular way(Distribution channel) which is different from the way it is sold as a spare part. So extend this material to two D.C., one for internal sales and another for sparepart sales.
Also find out who will be the partners in both the cases. Are there any dedicated partners for one process who cant be a partner for other process. For example a payer for internal sales cant be a payer for spare part sales.
Like this try to find out the unique organisational entities for both the processes.
Then create your condition tables based on these entities so that you can maintain different values for the same condition type based on different values of the organisational entities (Distribution channel, payer, sold to party etc)
Please assign reward point if this approach helps you to solve the problem.

Product pricing and effective dates

Hello guys,
Hope all of you are doing fine.
In my current implementation we are going to integrate the pricing in the product repository, however I was asked to find out if anyone in the team has experience with putting pricing in a product or material repository in MDM and specifically dealing with the requirement of having effective dates for different prices.
If you have such experience or thoughts to share please reply.
Also it would be useful to know if you are aware if SAP has any future plans to release such functionality in future versions of the tool (or business content).

Pricing of a grid product is associated with the grid.
So the prices are at grid level and not at the main item level.
Thatu2019s the reason, prices will be shown corresponding to the grid in the grid screen instead of in product catalog.
You need to change the user setting to include the price info

We are not maintaining pricing for product in Marketing plan. It is mainatined in R/3 and then downloaded to CRM from where it is picked up in marketng plan.

Its urgent requierment i need set type if any for updating product price for z type condtion table.
I CRM_PRODUCT_CONDITIONS check this package but i dont get any input. the bapi which i am using have no code inside for conditions COM_PROD_MATERIAL_MAINTAIN_API.
i tried these bapis :
COM_PRODUCT_MAINT_CONDITIONS : not Working
PRC_MAST_CREATE_CONDITION :I am uploading conditions separately by using this FM PRC_MAST_CREATE_CONDITION
But this FM is throwing dump when I execute it with correct product Id.Attached screen shot .I am passing CRM for application and
PRODUCTCRM to maintenance group.It is throwing dump at product_id.

According to the Apple website, a 13" MacBook Pro has a starting price of US$1299.00. I'm from New Zealand so, if I go into an Apple Store in San Francisco or LA (or anywhere else in the USA), is this the price I would pay or would I have to add some form of tax?

And then when you return to the Land of Kiwi, a tax on arrival
to cover any duty or other fees, as applicable on that end of it.
You could see what it could cost for you to buy the Mac on NZ
site, with pickup at a US store. Not even sure if they'd do it, or
what the extra fees may add to your USD $ price. But you should
have no issue on returning to NZ with the product, if bought there.

Identity Management Product Pricing

I'm working for a higher education institute and we are in the process of picking an id management vendor. Sun and Oracle are the finalists. Pricewise Oracle is 7 time higher than what Sun offered. If someone is only looking price, obvious choice is Sun. In a scinario like this what would be Oracle's arguments to justify their product?

What is the user base? and are you looking at just Identity Management or Provisioning ( Identity Manager).
Oracles product (suite) has lot more than SUn. Oracle suite has Oracle Virtual Directory, Oracle Identity Manager, Access Management, etc.
Virtual Directory is becoming a key solution especially for organization that have more than one directory or they want to rollout SSO in phases.
If you get the right sales guy prices will come down.

How do you receive a quote from Adobe, in your own currency, without support staff simply emailing you the product pricing link?

I simply want a quote, for my own country, in my own currency.

I own the movies and I want them to stay in my iTunes library basically forever.
But in both cases the file name no longer shows in the movie list, so I don't know how to re-download it from the Cloud.
iTunes prefs > Store > Show iTunes in the Cloud purchases.
This will show all your iTunes purchases in your library with a cloud icon down arrow. Click the icon to redownload or click on Play to stream without downloading.

and techncially, you don't "own" the movie, You simply have a license to use it.
Yet the first thing iTunes does when you hit the delete key is tell you that it will remove the movie forever from all devices and the library.
Actually, no it does not tell you that.
FYI: You should keep copies of all yoru iTnue spurahses as the labels/movie studios/copyright owners can pull their product at anytime and it won't be available to redownload.

For example a family package for X devices (X €/ 1 Year) and get for every member/device:SAFEFreedomeBoosterKeyX GB storage in YounitedSAFE has an option to buy for 1-10 devices, which is good - but Freedome and Booster is sold only for 1, 3 or 5. If you happen to have 1, 3 or 5 devices then it's great - but if you have 2, 4 or more it gets trickier and quite expensive.
