Internert Explorer 8.0 issues on refreshing web pages - FireFox, no issue

Dear SAP,
I do have a problem to get back a web page from my Internet Explorer 8.0 Browser.
Let's summarize - we are working on a SRM-JAVA system :
1. http://sl9srmdev.bull.local:50000/index.html
2. I choose Employe Self-Service
3. Then I click on 'Catalog' web-llink.
4. I select an article
5. I check the detail.
When I click to back to return to the previous page, the cursor hangs up ... hangs up ... hangs up.
With FireFox, I do not have any problem.
Do you have any tools to recommend me to localise this error ?
Best regards
PC

Hi
Did you check with IE 7.0?
IE8.0 gives same problem with BSP applications also.

  • UNABLE TO REFRESH WEB PAGES

    As of today, I have been unable to refresh my web pages. Is anyone else having this problem?

    Or is the refresh button just not working?
    Maybe reset the app....while in Safari, press and HOLD the home button until you see the app flick to black and return you to home screen (don't just press and let go to go to home screen). That is how you "End Task" on an application that is giving you issues.
    Then just click into Safari and see how it goes.
    Have to remember, once you go into any app, when you leave it, it stays in memory but just suspends...so any issues stay until reloaded.

  • Refreshing web page

    hi when i sending data from mobile iam receiving data in web page
    <html>
    <%! String name; %>
    <%
    name = request.getParameter("name");
    java.util.Date today = new java.util.Date();
    out.println("Got: "+name);
    out.println("Date&time: "+today);
    %>
    <html>after sending data when i view web page from my mobile i can see that i got data .but when i come and see my web page from pc i caunt see the updated data .how to dispay that received data .
    do i need to use refresh command .how to use refresh command ?

    I believe what you are seeing is the browser caching your page.
    If you push F5 to refresh the page, it will then update the date/time.
    You can include the following html in your jsp to try and prevent the browser caching it...
    <META HTTP-EQUIV="Expires" CONTENT="-1">
    <META HTTP-EQUIV="Pragma" CONTENT="no-cache">
    <META HTTP-EQUIV="Cache-Control" CONTENT="no-cache">

  • When I CLICK on a link on a web page, firefox dos lot load the page in a new window. All other browsers load the page under the link. I do not have "Block poups enabled".

    When I navigate to a web page that has a link, such as the link to a data sheet and click the link (usually an insert page), firefox does nothing.

    Does the new window have a media player in it or use the Flash plugin for any other purposes? If so, it could be the protected mode bug described in this thread: [https://support.mozilla.org/questions/955659 Opening New Windows and Shockwave Flash]. There are some workarounds listed there.
    Let us know whether that helps.

  • When downloading a Web page, Firefox includes ALL information on site, plus the Web page. I am forced to eliminate Firefox and return to Safari for saving individual page.

    For further info, I have Safari as my Mac provider for the internet, and although I click on it, Firefox takes over when I wish to download a Web page. It saves two files--a folder, in which all kinds of massive-like data will appear, and a file with some of the information I wish to save from a page or two.
    I've tried to select only the page I wish to save in several ways. However, nothing has worked until I take Firefox out of "Applications" and put it in the trash basket.
    Ideally, I'd like Safari to be my default provider, and I'd like Firefox to be my secondary provider.
    Please advise.

    Did you try to save the page as "Web Page, HTML only" instead of "Web Page, complete", if that is what you want ?

    A possible cause is security software (firewall) that blocks or restricts Firefox or the plugin-container process without informing you, possibly after detecting changes (update) to the Firefox program.
    Remove all rules for Firefox from the permissions list in the firewall and let your firewall ask again for permission to get full unrestricted access to internet for Firefox and the plugin-container process and the updater process.

  • Return commit for DP-K---Why no Internet Explorer access due to problem with web page?

    I ran full scans on MBAM & SUPERAntiSpyware as requested.  All I got was 2 adware tracking cookies detected with the spyware program.  I have Windows Vista Home Basic with a 32-bit operating system  IE version was Internet Explorer 8 & I also downloaded Explorer 9 with no difference in result.  The toolbar "fix" was probably in regards to general computer problems. Please advise.

    Hi,
    First, close all open applications.
    From the Start Menu, open All Programs, open Accessories, right click the Command Prompt and select 'Run as Administrator'.  Into the prompt, type the following commands, hitting enter after each command.  Include spaces in the commands where shown.
    ipconfig /flushdns
    nbtstat -R
    nbtstat -RR
    netsh int ip reset c:\resetlog.txt
    netsh winsock reset
    When complete, type exit and hit enter, then restart the PC and check connectivity.
    If this doesn't resolve the issue, another area worth checking is whether there is any problem with the Layered Service Providers on the PC - although problems with these usually cause no connection at all.  You can do this by downloading LSP-Fix on the link below.  Save this to your Desktop.  This is a stand-alone application so you can just delete it afterwards.
    LSP-Fix
    When download, right click the application and select 'Run as Administrator'.  If everything is ok with your LSPs you will see green writing stating this.  If it does detect a problem, post back with the error.

    DP-K

  • In the last month my iPad has started refreshing web pages on it's own. let's say I'm filling out a form or typing something on Facebook and have to put iPad down for a minute when I come back to page, it refreshes and I lose everything.

    when I first got it, it did not do this. It's very annoying. I've searched and I can find nothing and of course my warranty is up so apple won't help. any ideas on why it's doing this.  sometimes if I clear cache and cookies and then turn off and back on, it will stop doing it for a couple hours

    First thing to try is to reset your device. Press and hold the Home and Sleep buttons simultaneously ignoring the red slider should one appear until the Apple logo appears. Let go of the buttons and let the device restart. See if that fixes your problem.

  • I want it install Internet explore so I can view the web pages I am creating, but why can I not install it from Firefox?

    I have downloaded IE twice and each time it says it has installed it and that I need to restart my PC but there is no sign of IE. Does Firefox prevent the installation?

    Did you download and save the IE installer to a folder on your computer (desktop)?
    It is possible that security (anti-virus) software is interfering.
    Try to disable the real-time (live) scanning of files in your anti-virus software temporarily to see if that makes downloading work.
    Boot the computer in Windows Safe Mode with network support (press F8 on the boot screen) as a test to see if that helps.

  • Safari extremely slow opening one web page, Firefox not.

    Safari takes 25 seconds to open (http://www.caarc.ca/news.php) or from the same site, (http://www.caarc.ca/e107plugins/forum/forumviewforum.php?2 ) , while Firefox takes less than a second.
    I have implemented the following from forum discussions;
    - Installed the open DNS Servers
    -Reset the top 5 buttons for Safari reset
    -tried changing from 64 to 32 bit
    -Rosetta is not installed
    - checked the ~library... etc for plugins, there are none.
    It is probably something form this site or similar sites but there must be a fix
    Thanks for any help

    Both sites opened nearly instantaneously for me. However I have constant problems with websites like eBay and others. The open DNS server thing doesn't work. It's a Microsoft-like workaround that I think is bogus and is a strawman by certain individuals that inhabit this board to make it seem like Apple does no wrong. Safari has its issues, one of which is this random issue with opening websites.

  • When I click on a link within a Web page, Firefox just spins until I reload the new page.

    When I enter a new URL or select a bookmark, Firefox loads the page promptly. When I click on a link within that page to go to another page, the Firefox tab green spinner often just spins and spins. It either takes a very long time to load (2 or more minutes), or never finishes loading. It's usually a greater problem when I "Open a link in a new tab". I can usually make the new page appear by reloading, either clicking the red X and the circular arrow, or Ctrl-F5, etc.

    Try the Firefox SafeMode to see how it works there. <br />
    ''A troubleshooting mode, which disables most Add-ons.'' <br />
    ''(If you're not using it, switch to the Default Theme.)''
    * You can open the Firefox 4/5/6/7 SafeMode by holding the '''Shft''' key when you use the Firefox desktop or Start menu shortcut.
    * Or use the Help menu item, click on '''Restart with Add-ons Disabled...''' while Firefox is running. <br />
    ''Don't select anything right now, just use "Continue in SafeMode."''
    ''To exit the Firefox Safe Mode, just close Firefox and wait a few seconds before using the Firefox shortcut (without the Shft key) to open it again.''
    If it is good in the Firefox SafeMode, your problem is probably caused by an extension, and you need to figure out which one. <br />

  • While clicking on a page, like Facebook, or a web page, Firefox will be unresponsive and then go to a black screen saying Firefox Not Responding.

    When I am on Facebook, if I click on the link to view "Most Recent" or if I am clicking on another link, Firefox will first freeze and then will go to a black screen. At the top of the screen in the orange bar it says: Firefox,-Not Responding and the name of the app (Facebook), for example next to it. This black screen will stay that way for approx. 20 seconds then will go back to the page.

    Hi Mick. Thanks for your response. Is there anything I can do to resolve the problem. I am ok on computers but not really tech savvy. I have Firefox 9.0.1 with Windows Vista Home Premium, 64 bit. Thank you for any additional help you can give me.

  • How do I fix in Windows 7 x64, when I click on a link in a web page Firefox displays in the lower left - javascriptvoid(0).

    When I go to sites were I click on a link that will open a java script window, Firefox doesn't open the window. If I go to the same site with IE 8 and click on the same link it will open the java window. I have uninstalled java 6.3.2 and reinstalled 6.3.2 to see it that was the problem. I have also uninstalled Firefox 3.6.3 and reinstalled Firefox 3.6.3 to see if the installation had become corrupt. That has helped in the past, this time it has not.

    Start Firefox in [[Safe Mode]] to check if one of your add-ons is causing your problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Tools > Add-ons > Themes).
    See [[Troubleshooting extensions and themes]] and [[Troubleshooting plugins]]
    If it does work in Safe-mode then disable all your extensions and then try to find which is causing it by enabling one at a time until the problem reappears.
    You can use "Disable all add-ons" on the ''Safe mode'' start window.
    You have to close and restart Firefox after each change via "File > Exit" (on Mac: "Firefox > Quit")

  • Firefox updated and now when I try to open up a web page, Firefox completely closes the browser. When I open it back up, it asks to restore the session. What happened???!!

    When you bring up the browser and type in Church of God's Messengers, it brings up the links. When you click on the links, it closes Firefox completely. When you bring back up Firefox it asks you if you want to restore the session. I never used to have problems accessing the site. What happened???!!!
