Internet AND Airtunes, is it possible both at the same time??

Hi to all!!!
Here's the set-up:
I have a wireless router from my IP.
It broadcasts Wi-Fi for the 2 computers in the house.
No problems with that.
Then I have an Airport Express connected to my home sound system for it to play iTunes via Airtunes. For that to happen, I need to choose the "Apple Network 07xxxx" in the Airport Menu, disconnecting from the internet router.
So no internet while iTunes is playing via Airtunes...
I tried to connect to my internet wireless router with AX but it won't.
It not only doesn't connect to my IP's router, saying that on restart it doesn't find the desired wireless network and goes on blinking yellow. Then I need to re-configure the whole thing to use it only as a receiver for my amplifier...
It's pretty annoying since my 2 laptops, iPhone and any other device that comes in my home can connect without any problems to the internet router but the AX doesn't.
Is it possible to steam iTunes to an amplifier AND surf the net simultaniously via AX??
If so, what am I doing wrong ???

Yes.
Here are the basic steps to configure the AX as a wireless client for streaming iTunes:
Either connect to the AX's wireless network or connect directly, using an Ethernet cable, to the Ethernet port of the AX, and then using the AirPort Utility in "Manual Setup" mode, make the following changes:
Note: During the setup phase, you may want to temporarily place the AX near your existing wireless router to be sure it gets a good signal from it. After successfully reconfiguring it, you can move it to its desired location.
AirPort > Wireless
o Wireless Mode: Join a wireless network
o Network Name: <existing wireless network>
o Wireless Security: <select the encryption type of the existing wireless network>
o Wireless Password: <enter the existing wireless network password>
o Verify Password: <re-enter the existing wireless network password>
Music
o Enable AirTunes (checked)
o iTunes Speaker Name: <enter desired speaker name>
o iTunes Speaker Password: (optional)
o Verify Password: (optional)
o Click Update to write the new settings to the AX
In iTunes:
iTunes > Preferences... > Advanced > General
o Look for remote speakers connected with AirTunes (checked)

Again without stating the trouble shooting steps you have taken, its hard to direct you with any information.
Try a different port on the computer.
Does the iphone beep when u plug it up. ?
Plug iphone into computer and give it 3 to 4 minutes to see if it connects and is running slow.,
Delete the apple mobile device from your computer.
Upgrade itunes to newest version.
Is you USB cord defective ?
Any USB 3.0 on your system ? .
Delete or Disable any antivirus program on your computer ?
I will tell u the problem is your computer not the phone.
We could do this for hours.

How can I record an Audio Instrument, and listen to a reference track at the same time?

Are you using an external audio controller or the line-in and headphone jacks on the side of your computer? You shouldn't have an issue using headphones when you're recording through the line-in but you may want to make sure you have monitoring on and it's going to the right place.
If you're using an external audio controller, try making an aggregate device combining the controller and the "built-in output" into the same device. Go to Applications/Utilities/Audio MIDI Setup, click the "+" sign at the bottom left to make a new device and check the "use" boxes to the left of the physical devices you want to use as part of that aggregate device. That is how I use the computer's speakers or headphones to monitor my input as opposed to only being able to use the output on my audio controller.
Now that I see some of the questions on the side of this page I realize that the 13" MBPs seem to have only one combined input/output jack... That is an incredibly stupid feature. What on Earth could possibly justify that design decision? I suppose if that's the problem you're having you'll have to buy some sort of splitter (if they even make them) or get an external audio controller like an Apogee Duet or something along those lines. I would be furious if they combined those two jacks on all of the MBPs.

Have you ever even used skype on an iphone or ipod? We tried it and there is no way to type to each other while you are video chatting. You can do the typing during the video on a COMPUTER, but not on an iphone or ipod.

I am trying to connect both my ipod touch 5h gen and also my iphone 5c to my bluetooth headphones at the same time. I have been told because of the way the operating system works this is not possible. I used to be able to do this on my old non apple handset.
The reason I would like to do this is because when I am listening to my ipod and have my phone in my pocket it is not connected to bluetooth and I am missing important phone calls some of which are business calls.
Is there any type of device that i can get from apple to allow this to work.

How can I record a microphone and software instrument at the same time in Garageband 10.0.1? It seems I can record one or the other, but not both at the same time?

I am trying to record a vocal mic and a keyboard (using a software instrument) at the same time using Garageband 10.0.1. It seems that I can't record the mic input and the software instrument at the same time. I can record the mic input by itself, and I can record the software instrument by itself (if I don't have a mic input track created), but I can't record them together.
It seems like this should be an obvious thing to be able to do, but I can't figure out how to make it work.
Can someone help?
