Internet Browsers always Rainbow Spiral thinking mode

On all the browsers I have used: Safari, Firefox, Chrome
Every now and then my browser immediately gets the Rainbow Spiral "thinking mode" and I can't do anything on my browser until it stops thinking. (Some times its thinking for 10 minutes until I can FINALLY use my browser)
It used to only do it when I was watching something on hulu/youtube and expanded the video or doing something with a flash on it and then it would think forever, but now it does it when I immediately open the browser.
I upgraded to Snow Leopard and it did get better and only was in "thinking mode" for a few seconds but its back again.
I have cleared my cookies/cache but it still happens.
Is there a reason why it is doing this?

The most common cause for this behavior is a slow-to-respond, or not-responding DNS server. If you take your MBP to an open access point (like an Internet cafe, coffee shop, etc.). You'll probably notice the problem go away.
If this is the case, I would suggest that you add OpenDNS.org's DNS servers to your DNS server list (System Preferences > Network > (Adapter) > Advanced > DNS > DNS Servers). Performance of those servers is generally exceptionally good.
Another possible cause, if you are using wireless, is interference between transmitters using the same channel. In the USA, there are 11 wireless channels set aside for WiFi. To eliminate interference, search for other networks and check what channels they are using. For best results, select a channel at least 2-away from whatever channels they are using (and 1 away, if you can't do that).

Internet Browsers wont open web pages.

I have Windows 7 Home. None of my internet browsers (firefox,IE,chrome) will open any web pages. Was working fine the day before and now nothing. When you type in an address or search on the google tab it just thinks for a a while
then the address bar goes blank and nothing happens. Internet is connected and working fine by cable. Other computers on same network are working regular. Please help... did alot of searching on forums and nothing i have tried yet has worked.

a. Network connectivity issue or network-related issue such as DNS resolve.
b. Malware.
c. A conflict with firewall or a firewall configuration issue.
d. Third-party software or Internet connections settings issues.
e. Internet Explorer configuration settings.
f. Certain core Windows files are corrupted or missing.

The app is always inverted in landscape mode on Fire OS

Hello. I've recently submitted several apps made in AIR on the Amazon Store, but they were rejected because of the following problem : "App is always inverted in landscape mode". This problem appears only on the Amazon devices which use Fire OS. What can I do about this. Does anyone have a solution? Or is it something that should by Adobe and should appear in an update of AIR?

All Internet Browsers Freezing

I've found lately that all my internet browsers freeze after a random amount of time surfing, The only way to get out of it is a force quit.
Here's my info:

I can't download the National Lottery website using Firefox or Windows Internet browsers I have cleared cache, cookies & history

I have always been able to download the National Lottery website without any problems until Monday since then it is the only wensite I cannot access using both Firefox and windows internet browsers. I have contacted the national Lottery and they have assured me there is no problem. Do a malware check with several malware scanning programs on the Windows computer.
Please scan with all programs because each program detects different malware.

PSE 7 Editor not responding. Stuck in thinking mode for eternity...

Hoping for some help with this issue. Pleeeezee
I start in Organizer, choose an image to edit, click on the quick fix (shoot in Raw), do some simple changes, then if I need more fixes I click on Open Image. The Editor window pops open and then the thinking mode for eternity is what happens next. Sometimes the image does finally appear but it could take several minutes. Has become increasing worse lately where images do not appear at all.
Has 3GB memory, maxed out the memory usage in the performance. Just uninstalled PSE then re-installed it and still have the same issue.
Not sure what else I can try. If anyone has ideas or has dealt with this same issue before, please share.

Please provide more specific info about your computer - processor (single or dual), OS (XP, Vista or 7), 32-bit, video card, etc.
You realize RAW file will require a lot of power to process. Using a memory-stick (ReadyBoost) may help.
Personally, I gave up trying to process RAW in PSE - switched to Lightroom 2. Only use PSE for editing work beyond scope of LR2 - like Panaramas, merged exposure, etc.

Document always opens in Preview mode, prefer Normal mode

Documents always open in Preview mode, while I'd prefer the Normal mode. I tried setting the mode to Normal and saving the document, but next time I open it it again opens up in Preview mode. Can I change this somewhere so it defaults to Normal mode?

The preview that was used when the file was saved is saved with the
file. If you save it in preview mode, it will open that way.
If that's not the case, you may have a slight corruption in your
preferences. Try trashing them if this bothers you.

JInititiator 1.3.1.22 and Internet Explorer 7.0 in HTTPS Mode Not Working

Anyone else having problems running Jinitiator 1.3.1.22 in Internet Explorer 7.0 in HTTPS mode? I'm getting the usual unhelpful java.lang.ClassNotFoundException:oracle.forms.engine.Main error.
Works okay in HTTP mode. Confirmed that JInititiator and the certdb.txt file were okay by connecting successfully with IE 6.0 in HTTPS.

I installed 1.3.1.26 and get the same error when trying to connect to Forms in HTTPS mode.
I also verified I can download the frmall.jar file directly from the server.

Again, I can connect via HTTP mode. This only occurs when connecting via HTTPS.
Unfortunately, our customers must use HTTPS mode and I fear they will be forced to upgrade to IE7 within the next month.

Bold text does not display in internet browsers

I am working on editing a website for a client that I did not originally create so I am having trouble trying to figure out what the previous designer did.
I need to make certain text within paragraphs bold, which I normally do by inserting tags. However when I do this in my coding, it does not display as bold in any of my internet browsers ... IE, Firefox, Chrome, etc.
Can someone please help me with this or suggest what I may have to change in my coding?

The reason it is happening is because the element is the child of an , the is in turn the child of a tag and all of them are set to inherit the font attributes from thier parent tags. The first parent in the chain with a font setting is the <div> tag with the "left_column" class.
The "left_column" class tells all of those child tags to set their text as 14px, black, Arial due to the font:inherit.
The reset is meant to allow you to create css styles for all future tags without any default style being applied by the browser (as Rik suggests, creating the actual " strong {font-weight:bold;}" in your css would also do the trick). Since you don't specify any attributes for those tags other than "inherit your font styling from your parent", they take their attributes from the first parent element with an attribute.

How do I get Elements 11 to always open in Expert mode?

Does anyone know how I can make Elements 11 always open in Expert mode?
I'd like Elements 11 to do this whenever I either double-click a photo file to start the program or click the Elements 11 icon to start.

I have more information that will help explain my problem:
When I double-click on a supported photo file (.jpg for example) in Windows Explorer, Elements 11 opens in the Expert Window (the mode is always use) but the photo does not appear.
I double-click the photo file again in Explorer and Elements 11 changes to the Quick window and the photo opens.
In previous Elements versions I could double-click a photo file and Elements would open and the photo would appear in the open Elements window. With Elements 11 the photo never appears until I double-click the file again. And when the photo opens it does so in the Quick screen.
How can I make Elements 11 open after double-clicking a file with the selected photo visible and be in Expert mode?

My WRT54GS v.2 wireless router has all port lights and internet light always on, even though the power is the only cable connected to it. The router won't detect the internet from my dsl modem. How can i fix this please, why is this happening ?

Try reset all settings

Note: Data will not be affected but settings will be reset.

Did you turn off the hardware acceleration?
Since you have 3 browsers and they all are having issues and you listed the FF add ons we'll try to see what is conflicting with that browser first.
First I need to know what Anti-Virus program you are using and does it have it's own Firewall; if not do you use any Firewall other than Windows Firewall?
Do you have an extensions in FF? Do you have any plugins or add ons that pertain to your Anti-Virus in FF?

Flash Player crashes internet browsers in windows XP

Hi everybody,
from day one when I installed windows and have tried to watch flash content from any video websites like youtube etc..my internet browsers have crashed stating.
I have tried IE6, IE7, firfox, safari each of them with flash different versions player 10,9 and 8. Error has repeated it self everytime.
Its been a about a month i bought my Unibody late 08 Macbook and have not been able to watchin videos. very rarely i get BCD as well when playing videos.
Im at work can will provide the exact error detail that come up.
I want know has anyone else experienced similar issues, and if yes is there a fix for it..

i want to contribute to the statistics of touchpad driver not working with vista. the touchpad is crashing vista when the touchpad is used. sometimes just leaving it there would crash vista. i have since learned not to use the trackpad altogether and rely on an external mouse. i also hope that apple fixes this problem asap. i'm surprised that 5 months passed since the last released version of the bootcamp touchpad driver and apple still hasn't make any official response. howard
