You're in luck, I'm using VoipStunt as well. Here are the settings that work for me:

Use compression: No
Registration: When needed (use always on if you want it to stay connected all the time)

VoiP on Nokia E51 - Help Needed Urgently !!!

I am located in Copenhagen Denmark and I use a wireless network to connect to the internet. My Nokia E51 is also able to detect the same network when I scan for WLAN. However when I try to use it to make a net call it says ''NO WLAN COVERAGE FOUND''.

Thanks to bife71 for the reply. The phone was able to detect the wireless network and I was able to use the Gizmo feature to make calls. The network name I was using was ''Netgear''. But since one month I shifted to a new apartment and there the network name is ''NETWORK'', and when I tried to connect using my E51, the WLAN scan is not able to pick up the wireless network at all. I use the same connection to browse the net and the connection is good. But the phone is not able to detect this connection and I am not able to make calls.
HELP PLEASE !!! Telephone charges are lot in Copenhagen and I badly need to use the Voip function for which I bought E51.

Firstly you need to install:http://www.developer.nokia.com/info/sw.nokia.com/id/d476061e-90ca-42e9-b3ea-1a852f3808ec/SIP_VoIP_Se... It is set to deliver Symbian^3 SIP VoIP 3.1 by default
On your C6-01 go to Settings > Connectivity > Admin settings - Net settings - added new option ( advance VOIP settings). Open advance VOIP settings - Create new service

I need a internet connection and lanline ability to call via wireless as i have no phone line in my new unit for another 5 months.
As far as visible solution with no contract
This is my plan
-- Nokia e51
-- Three 3G HSDPA Broadband plan sim on $49 for 4 GB
-- VOIP application/subscription that will use phone's HSDPA internet
So basically The Nokia E51 will use the Three 3G sim card as HSDPA MODEM (internet) and will have the ability to use this internet to make phone calls via VOIP application/subscription
This is for home use only for me and the wife to browse the net and use it when making lan line phone calls not as a mobile phone
Will this work for me?
Will it be efficient?
Or i am asking for too much?

Well, it seems a good idea by doing this, but the question is, all you need is just a modem, not a phone.
Do you have any idea why should it be a phone, not a modem?
Well, to answer your question, e51 got the ability to do all the things you need, except the battery life.

Nokia E55 internet call setting

I recently bought a Nokia E55 with great hope, and did the SIP VOIP setting, and registered to the provider Jumblo.
I tried to call a friend of mine via internet but I couldn't. There was not the internet call option to be choosen. The instruction on setting the internet call in the manual is misleading. Does the software (2.1) of E55 contain the internet call option?
I'm hoping to get a quick answer from some guru to solve the problem.

There are plenty of them around such as Fring, Gizmo etc etc etc.
However, my favourite at the moment is Fring because it allows me to call my friends on Skype, Msn, Yahoo etc etc for free, while also allowing me to call mobiles and landlines at a nominal cost using my Skypeout account.

Nokia C7 VOIP Internet Call

hi. ive set up voip profile in menu-connectivity-admin settings. I'm looking now for the "Internet Call" applicaton to register the profile and to use it for voip calls, but i can't find it nowhere!!
i've read symbian^3 have built-in voip support, but i can't use it. Can you help me? In my old nokia E70 under applications i have "Internet Call" icon to start voip profiles but i can't find it in my c7...

If your voip is set up correctly, you should see both "voice call" and "internet call" as options in your contact directory. There is not separate "internet call" application. Internet calling is integrated to the contact directory.
You can sign in and out of your voip accounts using the menu bar at the top when you are in contact directory (home page/call/contacts).

Nokia XpressMusic not supported Internet Call, but...

I have a Nokia mobile XpressMusic that has SIP in its admin settings but does not have Internet Call (the dialer), so what is needed to get it?

Pc suite fails to connect nokia e51 to internet.

I have recently installed antivirus software on my computer (avg ver. 8.5) i run windows xp sp 3. I have a nokia E51 and can connect to the internet directly with the handset however when i connect the handset to the computer via the dke-2 cable and use nokia pc quite ver 7.1.26.0 it fails to establish a connection. Please advise

Temporary disable the anti virus and see if it works. If it does then you are sure that the anti virus is blocking the connection. If that is the case then you will have to create an exception rule on the anti virus for the phone

NOKIA E51 - Is it possible to search contacts in a...

I have a new Nokia E51, very great device, but I have to manage 2243 contacts (!). The (new) actual searching contacts way is just crazy for me: if I try to write the word john... the phone shows me hundreds of contacts with that part of word.
I'd like to know if there is a way to set the phone so to search contacts using names in the usual alphabetical order: just writing the first letter, than the second ,the third, and so on?
Somebody on this forum suggested to use Text-Quick (http://mind-flip.com/textquick/index.html) but unfortunately it doesn't seem to work in that way, but just keeping memory of more searched contacts.
It is really really annoying the way it searches.
Help please!
Somebody else on this forum said It is a bit counter intuitive at first, but once you get used to it the wider search is actually much better than the first name search (particularly if your memory for names isn't too great) but what you can do if you have thousands of contacts?
There will be soon an alternative option in the contacts settings for next E51 firmware?

To search middle string, use the SEARCH from OFFICE Folder. You can find on the Contact part of search result.

I installed Gizmo on my nokia E51.. The installation process was pretty simple.. I was provided with a 10 cent credit on my account.. I tried making a internet call from the option on my nokia e51.. I was not able to get through with the call. I was always shown the message ' Unable to register the phone for internet'... It would be nice if anyone guide me to setup internet calling on my nokia E51..

The ipod touch currently support 802.11b/g wireless standards and the following security standards. WEP, WPA and WPA2.
Make sure your security on your wireless networks is one of these otherwise your ipod touch will not connect also make sure you type the network key correctly as the the keyboard in portrait mode is quite small and wrong keys can accidently be pressed.

Nokia E51 - Microphone not working

Hi, I have a Nokia E51. Today I found out that the microphone is not working anymore. Yesterday everything was fine, but today when I make or receive calls, people can't hear me speak, while I can hear them perfectly. I tried the recorder, but when I make a record, again I don't hear anything when I play it, so the problem must be in the microphone. I haven't dropped or hit my phone, no accidents, nothing. I even tried to restart it, but it still didn't work. Thank you for your help!

I was just about to take the phone for repairs, when the microphone started working! Someone called me and I decided to answer, even though I knew they wouldn't be able to hear me and to my surprise the person calling seemed to hear me and we had a long conversation without any problems at all. Then I tried the voice recorder againg and it worked too! Very strange! Like a miracle!

N85 internet call

I have a Nokia N85 which i am trying to get internet calls working on.
I have downloaded and installed the VoIP settings V3 app.
I can make outgoing internet calls but the phone won't receive internet calls.
Any suggestions as to why this might be?

That option is under : Tools > Connectivity > Net settings > JustVoip (this is my case) sett > Default net call service > either " Yes " or " No" .
Thanks for pointing me to the right option (Default net call) which is related to my problem, although location for this option on N85 is different from N82.

Please Help me, How to get Audio Themes Installed on my Nokia E51.
My E51 doesnot show any options to Install the same.
Though I have seen other e51 with my collegue having Audio Theme option in his phone.

You are not alone. I bought a new E51 from a U.S. "lowest price" cellular phone source. The one I received was designed for the Southeast Asia market and did not come with Audio Themes as an option under "Themes" I downloaded a theme set from this site and I found it installed under "Media." Seems that some Nokia E51's don't come with the Audio Theme feature.
If anyone has anything to contribute this, I think it would be very helpful.
