please advise how to delete it. Thanks

I don't know what might be causing that message. It should have a close box or button; if not, try clicking the message and pressing Command-W.
Perhaps someone else will post in with a suggestion as to the cause for the messages.

last night I was downloading something for church (I am new to Mac notebooks it's the first one I've ever owned and I've owned it since March 2014). So after I was downloading this thing it sent me somewhere and to download my file so I had download my file well I don't think it downloaded the file I wanted because I never saw that file ever again I've tried everything to figure out what's going on because now my Internet is pretty much crashed it says that there is no Internet connection I have pop-ups that want to stop me using my Internet and says it's unavailable then last night when I was on a site I have all these things at the top and at the bottom that show me other prices for things and I can't figure out how to get those off I go to their website for removal and there is no removal for Mac. Google is my search engine it will not let me put in Google when I go to type for google it throws me on Yahoo no matter what Yahoo has pretty much taken over my Internet and I don't know what to do it it's a mess. Can someone please help me I am definitely not Mav Savy.

Open Safari, select Preferences from the Safari menu. Click on Extensions icon in the toolbar. Disable all Extensions. If this stops your problem, then re-enable them one by one until the problem returns. Now remove that extension as it is causing the problem.

Fix Some Browser Pop-ups That Take Over Safari.
Common pop-ups include a message saying the government has seized your computer and you must pay to have it released (often called "Moneypak"), or a phony message saying that your computer has been infected, and you need to call a tech support number (sometimes claiming to be Apple) to get it resolved. First, understand that these pop-ups are not caused by a virus and your computer has not been affected. This "hijack" is limited to your web browser. Also understand that these messages are scams, so do not pay any money, call the listed number, or provide any personal information. This article will outline the solution to dismiss the pop-up.
Quit Safari
Usually, these pop-ups will not go away by either clicking "OK" or "Cancel." Furthermore, several menus in the menu bar may become disabled and show in gray, including the option to quit Safari. You will likely have to force quit Safari. To do this, press Command + option + esc, select Safari, and press Force Quit.
Relaunch Safari
If you relaunch Safari, the page will reopen. To prevent this from happening, hold down the 'Shift' key while opening Safari. This will prevent windows from the last time Safari was running from reopening.
This will not work in all cases. The shift key must be held at the right time, and in some cases, even if done correctly, the window reappears. In these circumstances, after force quitting Safari, turn off Wi-Fi or disconnect Ethernet, depending on how you connect to the Internet. Then relaunch Safari normally. It will try to reload the malicious webpage, but without a connection, it won't be able to. Navigate away from that page by entering a different URL, i.e. www.apple.com, and trying to load it. Now you can reconnect to the Internet, and the page you entered will appear rather than the malicious one.

i had a mac book and an iPhone , there was no problem at all to load infomation from i Phone to Mac until i had install the iCloud , since i install it , the iPhoto needs to be update , but when everytime i press the update icon on the iCloud manue , it brings me to App Store update page , then i press update again , and input my apple id and password , then it stop working and have a msg box pop up saying my mac is not connected to internet which my mac actually does connected ... i currently cant export any photo to my mac ... can anyone help me ?? i had tried to use bluetooth , but same problem ...... please help ....

There is no such thing as an "SG3" or "SG4". Did you possibly mean a 3GS and iPhone4?
It has always been very basic to ensure that a backup exists of your media and other important files. Computers fail, hard drives crashes... things happen. Do you not have a backup? The iPhone, like all iDevices is NOT a backup of your media, but rather a mirror of the content in the iTunes library on your computer.
If your contacts, pics, etc are not on your computer, no backups of the iPhone exist, and they are not on the phone, they are gone.
No one can magically make them re-appear.

- Reset the iPod. Nothing will be lost

I am unable to connect to the internet, there is a pop-up that says "We're sorry, but the Safari browse version you are currently using dos no support the community toolbar". My computer does say that it is connected to the internet until I open Safari.

A few times a week

Firefox is shutting down windows I want to remain open. Example: I am done viewing one window. I click the X to shut the window and it shuts two windows. Every single time, attempt to close one windows, two windows close. Lately, I have been opening several windows with nothing but google search, just so it will shut that window and not something else I want to remain open. I could understand this if I was using tabs, but I am not. This has been going on for over two weeks. I don't like going back to history to open a window, I did not want closed in the first place. You have bought the book but have you previously downloaded it to your iPad? If you go to your books collection and there is a little cloud icon on the cover of the book with a down arrow that means it's not stored on your device and you would need an internet connection to read/download it. If that's not the problem and Demo's suggestions don't work how about trying this desperate move: Settings > Airplane Mode (turn on) And try again. Do you have other downloaded books in your collection? If so do they act the same way or do they open ok? If they open then there is something corrupt about that particular book in which case I would delete it and re download it when you have access to the internet.

Open the Time Machine pane in System Preferences. If it shows that Time Machine is ON, click the padlock icon in the lower left corner, if necessary, to unlock it. Scroll to the bottom of the list of backup drives and click Add or Remove Backup Disk. Remove all the disks, then add them back. Quit System Preferences. Test.

Internet Connect Pop-up Window

Internet Connect has started opening a pop-up window telling me that I am connected to the internet and asking if I want to stay connected when I am in the middle of working on the internet. Assuming this is for a DSL connection that uses PPPoE, go to System Preferences > Network.
At Show, select Built-in Ethernet.
Under the PPPoE tab, select PPPoE Options.
Make the changes as needed under Session Options.
Select OK to save any changes and then Apply Now when existing Network at
System preferences.

When setting up new godaddy pop mail account, I get this error: Internet Accounts preferences can't connect to the account

Trying to set-up new godaddy mail account. Walked through it with the godaddy rep, so the settings are correct. It is a pop account and I merely want it to function within Mail. (I have other accounts like it that work with no problem.) However, when I try to go online with the account, I get this error message: "Internet Accounts Preferences can't connect to the account..." It then prompts me to enter the password for the account and says it is "Unable to verify account or password."
Godaddy says it is an Apple Mail issue because the account works fine in their Workspace. I sent test messages and when I login at godaddy, the messages are there. However, for some reason, Mail won't connect to it. Any ideas?

You are probably using an old version of iTunes with which the stream link service seems to have stopped working for many users of older iTunes. No, Apple makes no comment about this kind of thing. It may reappear, it may not (it has been dead for over a week now). Your solution is to upgrade the operating system version on your computer from 10.5.8 to 10.6.8 so you can run a newer iTunes, or live without. You can still open streams if you can get the URL, and you can then save them as playlist items.

Firefox will not connect to internet after upgrade. The window pops up but shows "connecting " in tab. And then it sit there. Close it down and then try to reopen it and get message " Firefox already running, Exit program or shut down computer" ???
