Internet connectivity works in OS X, but not in Windows 7 Ultimate

I have a new Mac Mini. Mid 2011. 2.3 GHz i5. 8 GB RAM.OS X Lion 10.7.3. Windows 7 Ultimate.
I used Bootcamp to install Windows 7 Ultimate on a partition. All drivers are apparently up-to-date -- they were installed through the Bootcamp Assistant. Internet connectivity works fine in OSX, but is very unstable, if even existant, in Windows. If I do have a connection, I have download speeds of <1Mbps.
Any thoughts on what may be causing this?

Airport internet connection problems in OS X but not in XP or iBook

I have an iBook and an iMac, and the iMac has Leopard and XP on it. When in Leopard, most of the time, the internet connection is extremely slow and can never load a full page in Safari, always quitting halfway or the connection drops completely.
When I go into XP, the internet connection is perfectly fine and there are no speed issues and the connection is never dropped.
When I use my iBook, there is also no connection problems.
The crappy internet connection also affects Mail in such a way that I cannot quit Mail or Shut Down (until I force quit Mail).
I called apple the last time this happened and their solution fixed it, but the problem is back again.
Does anyone know how to fix this, or does anyone know if there is something wrong with my Airport?
(Its an aluminum iMac, 2.4 GHz running 10.5.7, and not using the Beta Safari)

Wireless internet access works on one Mac, but not another

I have a Time Capsule connected via Ethernet to a Linksys ADSL2 gateway.
I have set up a wireless network on the TC, which both Macs (MBP and MB) can see and log on to.
The MacBook can get an internet connection wirelessly, the MBP can't.
The MBP does get an internet connection if connected to the TC via an ethernet cable
I have the connection assistant, but it get as far as asking for my airport password before giving up - I have entered the password correctly.
Any suggestions?
The MBP is running 10.5, the MB 10.4

I have fixed the problem with a reinstall of OS X. Before that, i had tried trashing the keychain, repairing it an also deleting the wireless networks plist. No luck.
Anyway, all OK now...

Copy / Duplicate a CD works for the MacOS but not for Windows

Hi all,
i burnt some jpg's on a CD with my Mac (drag & drop within
the Finder). This went fine: i can read the CD on my Mac
and on my Windows-PC.
As i need y couple of copies from this CD, i thougth that
the "drag & drop" thing within the Finder is to much effort
and i created an image of the CD with the DiskUtility.
After that i burnt the image on new, empty CDs. All of them
worked fine on my Mac, but non of them were readable on
any Windows-PC.
So i started a workaround with the "burning-folder". That
works, but it is a little bit uncomfartable in comparison
to working with images.
Sadly i found no way to create an burn an image which works
on Windows-PCs.
Is there no way to copy / duplicate CD, that are readable
on Windows-PCs?

Hm, i testet something and i do not know, why two different things come out:
1) i began to create an image from the CD, which i created at first, which works
on my Mac and on my Windows-System.
So i could choose the following formats: read-only, compressed, read/write, DVD-/CD-Master.
2) if i create an image from an existing folder from my harddisk, i have the same options
PLUS "hybrid-image". If i choose this format and burn it, the CD works on my Windows-System, too.
So the question is, why the hybrid-image only available for images which are created
from hardisk-folders and not from an CD?!

Sync Settings works on the Mac, but not in Windows

On my Mac (Mountain Lion), the Sync Settings screen in Preferences is bright-eyed and bushy-tailed. I can choose any of the options. But on my Windows 8.1 machine, the Sync Settings options are all checked, but grayed-out. The Sync Now button is also grayed-out. Where it says "Signed in as", it's blank; it doesn't show my account name. But when I click the Manage Account button, it takes me to my CC page (creative.adobe.com/files) and I can see my stuff.
I just updated all the CC apps, but these options are still grayed-out. Anyone know why?

Always arrange pictures on your page. Select them and used Send backwards (button under). Do this till the button is grey. Now your pictures are under the text. Otherwise there is a mask over the text.

XML data connection works in the preview, but not in the final swf

I have set-up a dashboard with an XML data connection button to load XML data from an internet source. Everthing works perfect in the preview-swf within Xcelsius 4.5. But pressing the button in the exported swf does not have any effect. The dashboard is busy for 2 seconds, but no data is loaded. What could be the reason?

Yes, the location is registered. The problem also occours when the swf is opened directly on the web server where the xml-source is running.

Internet does work on other computers but not on Imac

Hi, after an electricity problem my Imac won't make connection to the internet anymore. My macbook and a Toshiba PC still do.
The Imac finds the network but says there's been a time-out while trying to make the connection.
I called the helpdesk of the internetprovider but they said everything works fine, after having tested the connection.
And of course they don't know anything about Mac...

What type of modems and routers do you have? A full make and model workup is necessary to determine the source of the problem. Have you tried connecting directly to the modem by ethernet? And what sort of electricity problem did you have?

I am not able to look at the youtube website in its usual format. My internet explorer works just fine. But not firefox! Why?

The youtube site does not load properly.

Try clearing your browser cache.
Tools > Clear Recent History... - hit Details and make sure only Cache is selected, then select Everything and hit the Clear Now button.

MP3 tags work in iTunes 11 but not in Windows 7 - Fixed

I tagged a bunch of MP3 downloads in iTunes 11, but the artist/track/album and other information did not show up in Windows 7 file information or in Windows Media Player.
The fix that worked for me was to convert to MP3 tags to ID3 tags to version 1.0.
Steps:
-Open iTunes
-Find the songs you want to convert in the Songs view
-Right click the songs
-Choose Convert ID3 Tags...
-Check the box for ID3tag version
-Choose v1.0
-Click OK
Your mileage may vary, of course, but this worked for me and all of the embedded info was properly updated. Note that I did not have album art and I don't know if rolling back the version will affect that. Good luck.

I tried your None>2.3 path and it appears to be a superior method to my original suggestion.
I hadn't noticed, but the track #s did not come through to Windows using my original method. They come through when converting to None then to 2.3. Your method, as you note, also provides the advantage of longer field lenghts. I am sure there are other advantages to 2.3 over 1, if nothing other than it's closest to the most up to date standard.
I tried converting to 2.4, but none of the data comes through to Windows.
Here is a revised set of steps. Note that this method will clear artwork.
-Open iTunes
-Find the songs you want to convert in the Songs view
-Right click the songs
-Choose Convert ID3 Tags...
-Check the box for ID3tag version
-Choose None
-Click OK
-Choose Convert ID3 Tags... again
-Check the box for ID3tag version
-Choose v2.3
-Click OK
Last comment: There may be better solutions using other software such as id3tagit, but the solution above works right from iTunes.

Fixed header working fine for desktop but not for windows phone

I have my website in asp.net with master page. I have used below css for header div of my website to make it fixed.

This is working fine for desktop. But on mobile, I can only see my 50% of width of the header. On the right side of 50%, nothing is cmg. As in just white background is cmg. On the right side, I have a button which when I click is working. To say, controls are
not visible but they are working if u manage to click at the exact place. Any fix for this?
I want to add that this problem is coming only in windows phone. So need fix for that.

BT Headset works on Mac side but not on Windows side

I just purchased a Plantronics Voyater 510 BT Headset. Awesome! It works great on the OSX side of my iMac with Skype. However when I boot into Windows XP via Bootcamp, I can't get it to work with Skype.
I've sucessfully paired it to Windows, but the headset does not show up as a device in the Skype options. I'm stumped here and wondering if anyone else has run into this problem.
