Internet crashed during update while iPhone was connected to iTunes
And now my phone will not start unless I do a system restore, and not everything I had was backed up as I only had 5 gigs of storage. What are my options??
Possible the iPhone had something to do with it, but I like to make sure the Disk Directory & Permissions are good before any update.
Was that Repair/Verify done when booted from the Install Disc?
You must repair the HD, if Disk Utility or fsck should fail to repair it then...
Your best bet is DiskWarrior, you need the CD/DVD though.

will i lose any of my stuff?When you open iTunes and plug in iPhone (iPod) to computer, it appear in the left bar. Then just simply right click on you iPhone (iPod) and choose Transfer Purchases, this should copy your purchased items to your computer.

When updating iPhone had to restore then activate, it would not let me tough i was connected to iTunes (update was complete just had to activate)

I have downloaded the iOS8 and while it was upgrading the phone, the iTunes crashed and the iPhone is showing the ' connect to iTunes' symbol. But as soon as i plugged the device on my mac the iTunes crashes. I had the same problem. I reset my network settings as iOS 8 on my iPad 3 seemed a bit slow. When I tried to reconnect to the wifi the correct password was not accepted immediately.
after retrying several times it did manage to join the network. The only observation I had was that I had a weak signal and an iPhone next to me at the time.
make sure you are close to the wifi signal away from any other wifi devices. -

I have tried to update my Iphone 4S today to IOS 7.0.6 and now my iphone wont connect to itunes as it says that it is detected that it is in recovery mode and needs restoring. How do I restore it? I cannot get my phone on at all?

My iPhone was connected to my computer and to itunes. I deleted apps from my iPhone directly, when it was connected. Now I am unable to sync my iPhone.
When I try and sync, it goes through the process then a message appears:
" iTunes cannot sync apps to the iPhone because the apps installed on the iPhone could not be determined."
On the 'apps' tab in iTunes, a list of 13 apps appears, when I now only have 6 on my phone.
This is stopping the iPhone syncing fully, and I want to upload all my music to the phone.
Does anybody have any idea what I could do? I am reluctant to add all the apps again as soem I have to pay for, and one, Post Secret is no longer available.

When iOS 6.0 updating my iPhone and connecting my iPhone to iTunes the only option I have, is to restore my iPhone. But ufortunately, I did not back up my iPhone before the updating. Is there any way I can avoid the restoring process?
Once the Device is asking to be Restored with iTunes... it is too late to save anything...
To minimise loss... Connect to iTunes on the computer you Usually Sync with and Restore from the most recent Backup...
