Internet Download error message: the connection with the server has been reset
With an WRT54GS v6 firmware v 1.50.9 on Windows XP SP2 with Internet Explorer 7, Intel wireless internal adaptor w/ 802.11b, I was getting the error message "The connection with the server has been reset" when downloading most anything from the Internet. My IP address would then be reset and download would be interrupted. To resolve, I turned off the WZC (Wireless Zero Configuration) Services, and this seems to correct the problem.
Control Panel > Admin Tools > Services > Wireless Zero Configuration > Disable

I get an alert banner saying my connection has been reset. This only happens when I try to connect to hotmail. It works fine when I connect to other sites, including this one. This is a new problem and I have not experienced it before, even though I have had problems with broadband connections. There are unusaul movements on my hotmail like when I delete messages and clear the delete folder, the deleted messages reappear when I reopen my hotmail. I have also had messages missing and reappearing even though they are from several year ago. The new problem with the alert message started about 10 minutes ago. I was able to access my hotmail via Safari but I get the alert message everytime I try with firefox.

Now drag the App Store icon from your Applications folder to the Dock. Try updating your apps. -
Receive "server error" message when connecting to website which has been successfully for many years
After successfully using several secure websites for years, I now get an error message "certificate has expired" with a FUTURE expiration date. I can't over ride the error even though the option is offered.
There is also a running banner of news headlines at the top of the Mozilla homepage. Those headlines have not changed in 3 weeks.recomend you just use pop mail if using a home machine, phone etc makes life easier.

My iPod touch 4th gen. Keeps giving me the error message "cannot connect to the app store when I sign in. I can open the app store and browse it but I can't download anything. I have full signal strength with my wi-fi and safari is working perfect. I turned it off and restarted it 3 times now. I have an iPad 2 and the app store works flawlessly with it. What is going on?
Same here on my lpad2. Can access the web just fine from browsers but cannot install new apps or updates in appl store. Seeing a few others reporting same issue tonight so likely an apple server issue and staff will notice it in network monitors and fix it...sometime this weekend.

I keep getting an error message "cannot connect to the internet." Is this a problem with my internet provider, or has anyone else had this problem.
I get that problem once in a while and I will not be able to connect to the Internet with any of the 5 or 6 (or 7 or 8 ) web browsers that I use on my iPad. The one thing that I do that has never failed to work for me is to close all apps on my iPad and reset the device. I can't guarantee that it will work for you, but this works for me every time I get the server failed to load/can't connect to the Internet message.... Or whatever the exact message is.
If you have a ton of apps in the multitasking display, it can take a while to close them all, so you could just trey resetting the iPad first and that might be all that you need to do.
Closing apps in iOS 7 works like this. Drag the app up from the multitasking display. Double tap the home button and you will see apps lined up going left to right across the screen. Swipe to get to the app that you want to close and then swipe "up" on the app preview thumbnail to close it.
Reset the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider if it appears on the screen - let go of the buttons. Let the iPad start up. -

I am trying to download iTunes 8 for my new iPod that i got today.
However, when i am downloading the iTunesSetup.exe file, the file downloads normally until it gets to about 10.5MB.
After this a message pops up saying:
"Internet Explorer cannot download iTunesSetup.exe from appldnld.apple.com.edgesuite.net.
The connection with the server was reset"
Has anyone else had this problem, if yes how do i resolve it???

Can someone help me please ? I was using itunes (downloading albums etc) just half an hour ago. I had a pop up asking me if i'd like to download the latest version of itunes, which i accepted. When the update had finshed downloading, i then restarted my computer, as i usually would. Tried to re access the itunes store, and received the following error message: 'Cant connect to the itunes store. An unknown error occurred (-3212) please check you have an active internet connection and try again.
Needless to say, i have an active internet connection and cant see any reason why this would be happening, it has never happened before ?

Experiencing trouble syncing with the 10.3 version of iTunes on my Windows Vista machine. Have uninstalled all Apple software twice, reinstalled and continue to get an error 7 message in connection with the Photo Processor. Any other ideas to try?

got it fixed! My Son had both files on his Win7 iTunes installation. Never mind he had no issues whith ths iTunes and iPhone Sync. So I checked my other Win XP PC, where I don't have this problem syncing my ipad, and surprise. Both files do NOT show up on this PC. So I renamed the iTunesPhotoProcessor.exe I found under c:\program file\iTunes and synced again my iPhone and it went through without any error. So the problem might be and unremoved iTunesPhotoProcessor.exe or the missing iTunesPhotoProcessor.dll under the iTunes install root folder and this even if I had checked that the folder was completely removed during iTunes unistall.
Please try yourselve and just rename the iTunesPhotoProcessor.exe to iTunesPhotoProcessor.exe_ under c:\program file\iTunes or get a copy of the missing iTunesPhotoProcessor.dll and cp to c:\program file\iTunes. -
I5 still using ios6 as of last night the phone will not connect to my Internet, in settings it says connected with the check mark however there is no wifi icon at the top of phone, have done everything possible to resolve... My i4 and pads are fine, I've had this phone for 8 months with no problems until last night , AT&T not any help,apple wants $ I thing it's a software problem.. Any one had this issue?

- Restore as new device. http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4137 For this step, do not re-download ANYTHING, and do not sign into your Apple ID.
- Test the issue after each step. If the last one does not resolve the issue, it is likely a hardware problem. -

We had had some difficulties with our portal lately. All of a sudden portlets failed and started givin error messages all over our webpages.
I tried to login to EM Console to try and restart Portal OC4J and got this error
An error was encountered while loading page. An error occurred when attempting to connect to the Database.
Resolution:
Make sure that the database and listener are up.
If the database is up, make sure that the OracleAS Repository API files ias.properties and iasschema.xml are correctly configured.
If necessary, use the EM Console to reconfigure the host, user name and password associated with the database

I checked my *.ora files and found the host 127.0.0.1 but I noted by running netstat command on dos prompt that most of my ports are captured by www.360.cn including 1521

I am not sure I am on the correct section in the support area for Lenovo.
I had a mouse issue. It was unable to read the mouse. Now the mouse is working and it is initialized.
I have no idea why.
There is an error message saying that I should press F 1or F2. I pressed down F 1 and I tried to work with it and I enabled the mouse or I tried. The mouse is working fine but the computer will not recover completely the way it used to.
It is very confusing. When I shut down and restart there is an message that was not there before about the pointing device. Also the recovering operation never asked me for disks. Now it is doing that. I have disks but this is all confusing. I just want the computer to be the way it was.
