Hello @vijay79,
I understand that after downgrading to Windows 7 your internet speed has slowed down. What connection type are you using to connect to the internet wired or wireless? Have you ensured that you have installed all the drivers from the HP Pavilion Desktop - 500-400na - Software & Drivers page? If not please do so.
If after you have ensured that all the drivers are installed you still have the slow speed issue please re-post with the answers to my questions and I will be happy to help you further. Thank you for posting on the HP Forums. Have a great day!
Please click the "Thumbs Up" on the bottom right of this post to say thank you if you appreciate the support I provide!
Also be sure to mark my post as “Accept as Solution" if you feel my post solved your issue, it will help others who face the same challenge find the same solution.

  • My iPod touch is downloading and updating apps very slow more than an hour.

My iPod touch 4th gen 32gb verson 4.3.1 is downloading and updating apps very slow more than an hour. I just got it a day ago and I backed up all my apps music and pictures and videos from iTunes. Few months ago I had an iPod touch but I lost it and it was working fine. Luckily before I lost it i backed up everything to iTunes so now everything that was in my old iPod is now in my new iPod. Anyways, When I first bought it I straight away backed up everything and saw that i had many updates on my apps. I started updating it all at once but even the first one was not loading at all and mty ipod was hanging many times during the updates so i cancelled all the updates. i even tried it on my computer and it was taking forever but my laptop does updating and downloading apps slower than my ipod so that doesnt matter. Even when I download an app on my iPod now its take more that an hour. So i was wondering, is my iPod slow cause I backed up too many things when i just got it . I have about 120 apps 150 plus photos and 70 videos and I backed it up all in one night on the day i got my ipod. So now I'm restoring my iPod and updating it to IOS 5 and see what happens. Hopefully it will be faster then but I still need to know what is main problem of m iPod hanging and slow updating/downloading. Need a reply ASAP. Thanks

Still you can switch it off while syncing.
You can also do a reset (Hold Sleep/Wake and Home buttons about 10 secs or more till Apple logo appears)

  • Downloading Drivers during OSD very slow SCCM 2012R2

    Hey,
Lately I started experiencing a slow download speed in OSD. I managed to fix the slowness for the wim download with KB2905002 hotfix,
but downloading drivers is still very slow.
    Any Ideas or suggestions ??

Is it possible that you're actually getting the PXE response from a DP elsewhere? Have you reviewed the smspxe.log file on your expected DP and seen the session with your test workstation?
PXE has nothing to do with driver delivery. Drivers come from a DP using the normal content distribution process just like everything else in the TS. The only thing delivered by PXE is the boot image.
Have you reviewed the IIS.log files on the DP where the driver files are being downloaded from? Have you tried temporarily enabling anonymous authentication on the DP?

  • Windows 7 very slowed after I downloaded ITunes. could someone help me?

My PC with Windows 7 is very slowed since I downloaded iTunes. Could someone help me? Thank you

All purchases from the iTunes Store including free and paid apps are included in your purchase history which cannot be deleted. Deleting an app from your iTunes library on your computer or on your iPad or iOS device does not remove the app from your purchase history.
You did use iTunes to download the apps or they wouldn't be incldued in your iTunes Store purchase history.

  • Remote Desktop To Windows Server Very Slow

I have OS X 10.6 running on a MBP and a problem that seems to be growing worse over time. I am using Remote Desktop (both CoRD and Microsoft Remote Desktop) to gain access to remote servers. One is a Windows Server 2008, the others are Windows Server 2003. Initially all was fine, but over the last 2 months access to the W2K server has crawled to a halt. Now, when accessing the other servers I'm having the same issue. I have tried different clients for remote access, used different high speed Internet connections (FIOS, a private network) and the result is the same. Very, very slow connections.
I have also tried using a different login on the laptop to no avail.
I booted Windows on my MBP using Parralels Desktop and tried using Windows RDC to the same servers; that works fine. In fact, I can access the servers very quickly using my iPhone's Remote Access software using the same Internet connection (home WiFi) as my MacBook Pro.
So I can only assume it's an issue with OS X 10.6, since different devices using the same Internet connection can make a much faster connection. But I can't find any similar posts on the issue.
    Any ideas are appreciated!

    Hi Jason,
From the error message, it seems that take time to load the user configuration properly from the server and then the network connection was slow. Please refer to following article

  • OSD: Downloading multiple files is very slow

I has a exe software. It is not a single file package, it contains a lot of files. when I installed this software in OSD, I found it would spend 15~20minutes to download files.
It was very strange. The software is only 750 mb size. the speed of downloading 6 GB OS image is also much faster than this software.
I know downloading multiple files is slower than downloading a single file, if their size are same.
But the downloading of multiple files in OSD is "really" very slow.
Why?  Cause of BITS or RDC?  How to fix it?
PS:I update to SCCM 2012 R2 with CU1,  add the below into SCCM
    Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00
    [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\SMS\DP]
    "RamDiskTFTPBlockSize"=dword:00004000
    http://windowsdeployments.net/how-to-speed-up-pxe-boot-in-wds-and-sccm/
Now, the download speed up to 4 minutes, but it still slower than the normal copy & paste.
    Test result:
    OSD: 2.6G
    single image, 2 minutes
OSD: 750m multiple files, 4 mintues
after OSD, copy & paste from network drive, 750 multiple files, 1 mintue

I had updated to CU1 and add this into regedit . It is quicker than before, but it still slower than the normal.
    Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00
    [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\SMS\DP]
    "RamDiskTFTPBlockSize"=dword:00004000
    http://windowsdeployments.net/how-to-speed-up-pxe-boot-in-wds-and-sccm/
    Download 2.63 G OS image:
    2min
    Download 750 M multiple
    files 4min

  • Internet Explorer 5.1.7 very slow

Hi, Starting today, my Internet Explorer 5.1.7 is running very slow and is crashing much too often. What should I do to correct problem?
    Angel

You do not indicate how much real RAM you have. Here are a few suggestions for you to try:
Increase IE Preferred Memory by at least 300%.
http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=18278 Mac OS: Assigning More Memory to an Application Program.
The same directions are also in the OS Mac Help Menu.
Once a week in IE Edit>Preferences, delet History, Empty Cache (if you have cable set Cache to 0).
Once a week Go into the system folder>preferences folder & trash the following preferences:
    finder
    ASLM
    PPC Registration Database
Cache.waf-found inside the MS Internet Cache folder
MRJ Cache folder-a new one will be recreated.(If not found go to System folder>Application Support>MRJ Cache folder-trash all you find inside-(DO NOT TRASH THIS FOLDER)
    Download Cache-found inside Explorer Folder
    Downloads.html-found inside Explorer Folder
    History.html-found inside Explorer Folder
Rebuild your desktop w/extensions off. Use Techtool Lite or Trash*Desktop - may delete Finder comments to rebuild your desktop w/extensions off. Does a better job than manually & you avoid all the finger gymnatics. You just have to hold down the shift key to shut off extensions.
Restart to turn the extensions back on again & empty the trash.
If you want to rebuild manually, see KB article http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=10182 Rebuilding Desktop File and Icon Recovery.
If the above does not work, then dump the %#&*X@ & check out other Mac browsers

  • USB 3 and Windows 8 very slow

    Greetings.
I'm new on this forum allthough I have had this mobo about ½ year, but when I tried to get Windows 8 Pro upand running I ran into troubble.
Intel Rapid Start don't work in Win8, worked really good in Win7
Can't switch "Windows 8" feature on in BIOS (have read here, that I'm not the only one with that problem)
But my biggest complain is the performance of USB3. I use it for backup, and it is very slow compared to Windows 7. I can't find any USB3 driver on MSI's download. I know ASUS has made an "USB3 BOOST" but I don't know what it is, or if it is helping. Windows 8 has native driversupport for USB3, but it is only to get it to basic work, much much slower than the same USB3 port in Windows 7. Does anyboby know how to raise the USB3 speed?
Sorry for my English. As I'm danish, English is not my first language, but I hope you get the meaning of this

Could well be a driver issue as you mentioned. MSI doesn't make the drivers, they are supplied new ones by the vendor of the hardware. Normally they are tested by the MSI engineers first, certified to be good, and then released on their webite for download. The growing pains of 'Vista' 8 (sarcasm) continue!

  • Downloading from iTunes Store very slow

I am using iTunes 11.1.3 and download to my external hard drive on my MacBook Pro version OS X 10.9. I haven't had a problem with download speeds until now. Downloading a 22.5mb TV show is taking up to 3hrs. My internet (wireless) is running fine elsewhere in my home. I can watch apple tv via itunes store purchases just fine streaming as well as Netfix. Suggestions?

    Hey there Kimber.c,
It sounds like your Wi-Fi connection is very slow on this computer. I would try the steps in this section of the article named:
Wi-Fi: How to troubleshoot Wi-Fi connectivity
    http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4628?viewlocale=en_US
Symptom: The Wi-Fi network seems slow
Streaming movies may skip or pause.
iTunes or other downloads may take an unusually long time to complete.
    Webpages may not load quickly.
Thank you for using Apple Support Communities.
    All the very best,
    Sterling

  • I'm using Parallels 7 on an imac with Windows 7.  Both OSX and Windows (and especially quicken on Windows) runs very slow.  Is there a good way to fix this?

Since installing Parallels 7 and Windows 7 (to use Quicken), my imac and the virtual computer run very slow.  Is there a good fix?

  • Downloading 1.1.3 very slow

It's taking a long time and it is very, very slow. . .
It's not me I have a strong intenet conection. It is at 2% and it has been going for half an hour. Why is this???

I am having the same issue, so far with two different devices.
One is being updated with Apple Configurator. The other is being updated via iTunes. Both are reporting excruciatingly long download times. The Apple Configurator one I left running overnight and it had failed when I checked it in the morning.
Sorry, not a solution to offer, but just a me too. I do have access to another resource. If I get my head above water I'm going to check there.

  • ITunes+Windows 7= Very Slow Music Sync

As above. Everything is perfect, but when i want to sync my music with my iphone 4 or with my ipad it takes forever. Any suggestions ?

I have very slow itunes since SP1, but have found a remarkably easy work round.  Start itunes, start what you want to do - like sync to ipod et al, then just click the windows 'show desktop icon' and itunes does the stuff properly!
    I have win 7 SP1 2gb 2Ghz AMD
