Internet Exploer 11 suddenly isn't showing my Table of Contents or Index for RoboHelp 10 output

I generated a WebHelp project with Adobe RoboHelp 10 last November. I had no problems with the TOC or index. Whenever I try to view output today, IE won't show the left pane with the list of topics in the Table of Contents. It also doesn't show index tags. I have no problem viewing this same output in Mozilla Firefox. I just set Firefox to be my default browser b/c it is so frustrating that I can't immediately view changes to my help project. Has anyone else experienced issues with IE 11? I even cleared cookies and the cache, and I still can't see my TOC and index. This never happened before.

Thanks to the forums I have found useful patches for RoboHelp 10 (sample links are below). I find that even after installing the latest AdobePatchInstaller.exe fix for RoboHelp 10 that I have to overwrite the whutil.js file in my !SSL! WebHelp_PRO output folder every single time I need to check changes in my output in the browser. I just want to confirm that there is no better workaround than manually copying whutil.js every time I generate my output to check it. Thanks.

Ok. So the notification window came up when i was on firefox so i installed it. When it finished it re-opened my tabs and a '''Welcome to firefox''' tab that said there is a new feature added to firefox which is called app tabs. I kept reopening firefox and shutting it down but it's still not showing up!!! :(

I fixed this issue by:
going into control panel - add / remove programs
found acrobat and uninstalled it
as administrator, started the Adobe Creative Cloud App, Acrobat was no longer showing as installed
clicked on "Try" next to Acrobat
it downloaded (took more than 20 minutes) and installed and the icon immediately appeared on my desktop
it launched fine.
Just wanted to make sure, in case someone else runs into this. I think that Acrobat originally just hadn't finished downloading at the time of deployment.

What do I do if my installer isn't showing all the packages I have paid for?

My account page shows the full CS suite of packages, but the installer is missing Premiere and After Effects, meaning I can't download them.
I am trying to phone Adobe, but have been on hold for 30 minutes so far.

Video apps in the Cloud suite (such as Premiere Pro and After Effects) are 64 bit only and will only run on 64 bit processors and 64 bit operating systems.
If your computer is running a 32 bit operating system (e.g. Win 7 32 bit) then you will not able to download those apps since they will not run on your computer.

Adobe acrobat pro 9 help button shows no table of contents

When I open adobe acrobat pro 9 and select the help button the help window opens but there is no table of contents and if I try to search for a topic nothing happens... Any help here?

If there are Icons in the upper left of the screen, try some of them.

Hypercolor not showing in Table of Contents

This should be easy, but I can't figure it out. I have a TOC for a book that includes an Appendix along with other modules. Everything displays fine except for the hypercolor for the Appendix. Here is the command on the reference page: <HyperColor><$chapnum> <$paratext> where it is mapped to a Paragraph Tag: AT AppendixTitleTOC The other modules work fine and have the same reference page information but are mapped to the appropriate Paragraph Tag (CT ChapterTitleTOC, etc.) Thanks, Dennis

Make sure you're looking at the TOC reference page in the TOC file, not any of the chapter files. Make sure you don't accidently have another Reference page called "TOC1" or similar. Make sure to re-generate the TOC for each change you make. Make sure that "HyperColor" is spelled exactly correct. Make sure that the "HyperColor" tag is added to the Character catalog in the TOC file. Make sure that the TOC paragraph tags are spelled exactly correct. If there is an extra space or the wrong case, FM will not use the TOC specification associated with the tag. If none of this works, try to apply the HyperColor tag directly to the paragraphs on the TOC reference, instead of specifying "<HyperColor>". -- /Thomas Michanek

Then it shows the correct Email-adress and asks for appleID password. After entering it switches to a mask witch asks for the eMail adress that should be used. There is the right One already preentered. From there it switches back to the former mask (appleID +password) and nothing happens. If you say Log in again, ist just switches between those masks without showing an error claim nor logging in. Strange thing is ist worked proppperply till a few days ago.......

If you get to step 3 I recommend closing ALL the apps.
Here is step 1 to get you started.
Restart iPhone
To restart iPhone, first turn iPhone off by pressing and holding the Sleep/Wake button until a red slider appears. Slide your finger across the slider and iPhone will turn off after a few moments.
Next, turn iPhone on by pressing and holding the Sleep/Wake button until the Apple logo appears.
Is iPhone not responding? To reset iPhone, press and hold the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button at the same time for at least 10 seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
If your device does not turn on or displays a red battery icon, try recharging next.

Welcome to the Apple Community.
The Apple TV should set it's time automatically from the network time server, if it isn't doing this try restarting the Apple TV by removing ALL the cables for a 30 seconds, if this fails try resetting or restoring it.

SUDDENLY - IMAGES NOT SHOWING UP IN MAC MAIL

Suddenly, just in the last few days, my Mac Mail isn't showing any images in the messages themselves in any of my accounts. What setting could be the cause? I have checked, "Display remote images in HTML messages", but that doesn't seem to help. Where there should be images are instead "?" marks.
I've checked Little Snitch for any connections that were being blocked as well as my Mail preferences and nothing is solving the issue. It's happening on both of my PPC computers running 10.5.8.

Not certain, but this can fix myriad Mail problems...
Safe Boot from the HD, (holding Shift key down at bootup), it will try to repair your Disk Directory while the spinning radian is happening, so let it go, run Disk Utility in Applications>Utilities, then highlight your drive, click on Repair Permissions, then move this folder & file to the Desktop.
Move this Folder to the Desktop...
/Users/YourUserName/Library/Caches/Mail/
Move this file to the Desktop...
/Users/YourUserName/Library/Mail/Envelope Index
Reboot.

Zen nano plus suddenly isn't recognized by WMP 11

Hi there. I have Windows Vista Home Premium 32 bit on my PC. And I've had no issues with Windows Media Player recognizing my Zen Nano Plus - until this week. It just isn't. All of a sudden it's only showing as a removeable disk. I can access music files and what not - but I'd really like to be able to sync again. Has anyone experienced this problem?
I did download the new firmware and install it - but still having the issue. I'd appreciate your help and feedback thanks!

Re: zen nano plus suddenly isn't recognized by WMP n I do have that and while I can still add music and what not - I honestly just prefer going in one way through WMP . However, I did a System Restore Point today to a point to which I had thought I could still sync - and now when I open Windows Media Player it does recognize my device.
Interesting point - my device now has the udpated firmware; because I had updated last week. And AFTER I did the System Restore, and then plugged in my device, it reinstalled the driver and Windows Media Player did recognize it. So I wonder if this has to do with the new firmware installation; although WMP did stop recognizing my device prior to my updating the firmware. (That is what led me to look for the update in the first place)
However, this seems to have fixed my complaint. For the moment. Thank you for your response and suggestion!

Ipod isn't showing up as a playlist for easy transfer of manually selected songs?

Hey Apple Support Community. Previously iTunes allowed me to add songs individually to fill up my ipod bu right clicking and adding the song to the ipod by way of the "add song to playlist" option in the drop down box. Sunddenly my ipod isn't showing up as a playlist for easy transfer of manually selected songs? I've had to create a temporary playlist and use the "autofill" on the ipod screen to add the songs I want. It's kind-of tedious. What happened? Has iTunes changed the way you're allowed to fill up your ipod? Or is there some glitch in my ipod that iTunes can't see it so as to provide it as an option for being a playlist?

You and your partner might have different browsers, different versions of the same browser, or most likely a fervent version of the PDF plug-in.
See if just clicking on the Enter key sends the form in.

Hey, i've tried connecting my ipod to my laptop itunes and it's not working. My laptop shows it's connected but itunes isn't showing it's there. i've tired reinstalling, taking itunes off rebooting the laptop and putting it back on. I don't know how to get it working. Plus on top i restarted my ipod and the choice between wifi and connecting to itunes i'm choosing itunes but it's still not showing up. I can use the help for the Windows 7 and ipod touch. I registered my new iPhone 5s to my usual Apple ID, however it isn't showing in my devices when I log in. I tried to register it by adding a new device, but it tells me it's already registered to a different Apple ID. I'm really not sure how to fix this.

When I check on the phone itself (iCloud and App Store settings) the Apple ID is correct. I'm not sure where else to check.
Whilst setting up the phone, it prompted me to register, which I did. Then when connecting to my laptop through iTunes it prompted me again so I registered again. I even got a confirmation email to the email address associated with my Apple ID that the registration was successful.
How can I add my iPhone 5s to the list of devices on the correct Apple ID?

Have you reset or restarted your iPhone since the update?
Hold down the home button and the power button until you see an Apple logo
Release both buttons and the iPhone will restart.
