Internet Explorer 11 does not print any page

When i attempt to print any page, on any printer (also pdf printers), with Internet explorer 11, there is no error message, but it don't print anything. The printers queue is empty.
If i go to the print preview and then i print the page, i receive the following error:
"there was an internal error Internet Explorer is unable to print this document"
I already followed the usual steps:

Thanks.

Hi,
Have you make you have tried all methods in that article? If yes, try to print from Internet Explorer 11with no Add-on mode for test.
Meanwhile, I suggest you refer to this similar thread:

    Hey !
Do you know about a solution to devolp a default error-page define at the web.xml or so that is work together with tomcat, struts and IE.
Because only when I disable zhe friendly error message in the IE it works together.
But the conditions unacceptable to me and my web-tool.

kajbj, you're right about this not being a Java programming problem and this isn't the correct place for this query.
But it's a very valid problem; IE doesn't respect the custom error pages served up by the server for HTTP 500 status if this setting is enabled.
horst_skoff, unfortunately you can't do anything about this, it's a browser issue. Read more:

I made a website with iWeb. It looks fine on Safari and Mozilla Firefox but Internet Explorer does not show any of the photo's I have put on. Any solutions out there? Thanks in advance.

usually this isn't relevant to the Mac side of things, but on the PC side of things do you have McAfee Privacy Service installed on the PC? if so, try disabling that and having another look in IE 6. can you see the buttons now?
on the Mac side of things ... do you have java/javascript enabled?

  • SSRS 2008 R2 report does not print the page header for a html content displaying on multiple pages

    Hi
I need to display the html content from the database. The html content are quite long and can have content of 3-5 pages. Issue I  am facing is f the record has html content of 3-5 pages, then it does not print the page header (which is a separate tablix) on
    second page onwards.

    Hi Nikesh,
According to your description, I’m not sure the meaning of Page header in your scenario. In Reporting Services, a page header that run along the top of each page, respectively. Headers can contain static text, images, lines, rectangles, borders, background
color, background images, and expressions. But we couldn’t add tablix in the page header.
If you are saying report header, a report header consists of the report items that are placed at the top of the report body on the report design surface. They appear only once as the first content in the report. So it cannot repeat in other pages.
If you are saying tablix header, freezing column headers are different in table and matrix. For more details, please refer to the following thread:

If there are any misunderstanding, please elaborate the issue for further investigation.

  • Error msg after scan "ADF does not contain any pages"

HP office jet 6600 has worked well for months, but recently 3 out of 5 times that I tried to scan from the ADF, whether one page or many, the scanner runs through its cycle and then gives me the following error: “The scanner automatic document feeder (ADF) does not contain any pages. Insert the pages to be scanned into the ADF and try again.”
Sometimes I just run it again and it works. I'm using HP scan that came with the 6600 download full driver package; running Windows 7 64-bit. I use the scanner significantly and it has operated perfectly for over a year and I haven't changed anything that I know of.Appreciate any help that somebody can give me… I have cleaned rulers and "flicked the little white thing", and some of the other things that were mentioned for similar problems.

Hello  I would be happy to help you with the automatic document feeder (ADF)  issue you are having with the Officejet 6600. Even though it's a different issue this document has several steps you can try; Vertical Bands, Lines, or Streaks in Copies, Faxes, or Scans. I've copied the applicable steps here for you. Clean the scanner glass and scanner lid If the scanner glass or the white underside of the lid has fingerprints, smudges, lint, dust, or other debris, this can slow performance and affect copy and scan quality. To resolve this issue, clean the product. Before you begin, gather the following materials:Several clean, soft, lint-free clothsMild glass cleaner
CAUTION:Use only glass cleaner to clean the scanner glass. Do not use cleaners that contain abrasives, acetone, benzene, or carbon tetrachloride. These substances can damage the product. Avoid isopropyl alcohol (rubbing alcohol) because it can leave streaks on the glass.Press the Power button () to turn off the product.Disconnect the power cord from the rear of the product.Lift the scanner lid.
Figure : Lift the scanner lid
Spray a clean, soft, lint-free cloth with mild glass cleaner.
CAUTION:To protect the scanner, do not spray the glass cleaner directly on the glass.Clean the scanner glass, and the glass strip next to the scanner glass, with the lint-free cloth.
Figure : Clean the scanner glass and the glass strip
Clean the white underside of the scanner lid.
Figure : The underside of the scanner lid
Dry the scanner glass and the glass strip thoroughly with a clean, dry cloth or chamois to prevent spotting, and then dry the white underside of the scanner lid.
NOTE:Do not use paper-based wipes or tissues that can leave fiber residue.Close the scanner lid.Reconnect the power cord to the rear of the product. If the product does not turn on by itself, press the Power button () to turn it on.Try to copy, fax, or scan again. If these steps resolved the issue, you do not need to continue troubleshooting. If the issue persists, continue to the next solution.
Clean the automatic document feeder (ADF)
Follow these steps to clean the automatic document feeder (ADF), and then make blank copies to check if the issue is resolved.Step one: Clean the ADF rollers and separator padFollow these steps to clean the automatic document feeder (ADF).Gather the following materials:A clean, lint-free cloth, or any cloth that will not come apart or leave fibersDistilled, filtered, or bottled water (tap water might damage the product)Remove any originals from the document feeder tray.

Follow these steps to clean the glass strip underneath the mechanism in the automatic document feeder (ADF).
NOTE:The images in this step might not be of your product, but the steps are the same.If you have not done so already, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the product.Remove any originals from the document feeder tray.

I would take 'Y2ken's' advice and try Firefox.  I have used it for years with XP Pro and Ubuntu, Linux.  It definitely is more responsive.  Most of what is in IE8 was developed in FF several years ago.  FF was the first browser with tabs, for instance.

Sounds like the table is to large to fit on a single page. Have you tried using the "Shrink to Page" option in the Print Preview? Depending on your version of Word, my attached picture may not be 100% similar but it should be enough to give you an idea. Here is the option inside the print preview menu:

I have firefox 7.01. and every time i try to log on to my work site via the web and client server, firefox crashes and leaves not log.
    Internet explore works without issue.
How do I stop the system from crashing - i didnt have a problem in earlier versions of firefox.

This is a chronic problem. Not related to time of day. It is a permanent block on my ability to log into my Yahoo mail from the Firefox web browser on one computer ONLY. I can log in from other computers. This seems to have nothing to do with add-ons or extensions. Upgrading from Firefox 3.6 to 4.0 had no effect and this also does not effect any other web browser on the same computer.
Again, every time on try to log into my Yahoo mail using Firefox on my main desk time I get a "404 Not Found" error.
Please give me a serious answer.

  • A page on a website which opens fine in Internet Explorer does not display accurately in Firfox...how can I fix this?

I usually only use Firefox and don't compare screens between Internet Explorer and Firefox. However I was working on a website I am developing with a friend in Seattle and she sent me a trial and the pages don't fit on the screen right, for instance there is a return mail form that runs out of its box and leaves off the bottom of the page. She was having no trouble opening it on her computer (even in Firefox). It opens easily and correctly on my wife's computer in Internet Explorer, as it does on my computer. It is only in Firefox on my computer that it opens wrong. Also, and perhaps it is not related, opening videos in Firefox on my computer takes a long time when they open isntantly on my wife's computer in IE. I have more ready memory, more RAM and more graphics software on my computer than she does. Why should this be happening only in Firefox? I was so happy not using Internet Explorer any longer.
I have attached a link to a page that I am having trouble with. It is not the only one. My screen does not show me the bottom of the response form where I can submit the form. It only shows half of the image verification code and no place to submit. I bet when you open it up you will see the whole screen.

I am also having problems with a site I am building. No matter what websafe font I use it displays as New Times Roman in FireFox. The correct fonts show in both IE9 and Chrome.
In addition, text shifts in FireFox. I have to position other text objects farther and farther apart as I go down the page or they start to overlap. Nav buttons and other images also have to be positioned in the wrong place for them to be in the correct place when the page is opened in FireFox. FireFox should display pages correctly by default. I can't expect th average user to have to tweek his/her settings to display my site.
I have been recommending FireFox on my website as the best browser. I might have to change that and abandon FireFox myself.

When 'file'- 'print' selected on Mozilla tabs, it does not work. The print menu appears but when 'print' clicked, the 'save as' menu box appears. Please read this whole message before doing anything.
This procedure is a diagnostic test. It’s unlikely to solve your problem. Don’t be disappointed when you find that nothing has changed after you complete it.
The purpose of the test is to determine whether the problem is caused by third-party software that loads automatically at startup or login, or by a peripheral device.
Disconnect all wired peripherals except those needed for the test, and remove all aftermarket expansion cards. Boot in safe mode and log in to the account with the problem.  Note: If FileVault is enabled, or if a firmware password is set, or if the boot volume is a software RAID, you can’t do this. Post for further instructions.
Safe mode is much slower to boot and run than normal, and some things won’t work at all, including wireless networking on certain Macs. The next normal boot may also be somewhat slow.
The login screen appears even if you usually log in automatically. You must know your login password in order to log in. If you’ve forgotten the password, you will need to reset it before you begin. Test while in safe mode. Same problem? After testing, reboot as usual (i.e., not in safe mode) and verify that you still have the problem. Post the results of the test.
