Internet Explorer 11 freezes/glitches when in Anz banking website and comes up" Anz isn't responding" and then closes down.

HI,
    I've been having trouble with ( IE) Internet Explorer 11 version:(11.0.9600.17207IS )-(KB2962872) for over a year on my desktop with ANZ Internet banking, when i go into this website, it freezes and comes up" Anz isn't responding"
and then inside of icon comes up "Recover Webpage" so I click that and then it comes up"Windows is checking for a solution to the problem" and then closes down.
But on my laptop I have no trouble with Anz and it has a different  version:(11.0.9600.17207).
Can some one tell me what the IS is on the end of the first version mean and how can I install the version without the IS on end of number on my desktop, as this version is causing the problem.
I have been in Microsoft Community with Yaqub Khan-Microsoft Support Engineer and he recommend me come here, as we have done many steps without problem fixed.
Do you know how I can copy that info from there to here, so you can see the steps we have already done, or can you go in there and see.

I have a vodaphone usb stick also.... 
they use geotracking and inject code into pages, but I don't have any problems
accessing the site form either a mobile connection or an adsl public access
network.
Do you have both your ADSL and USB
stick connected? (BREWY)-I have only one connected at one time and this has been
the case for some years without a problem, until early last
year.)
What anti-virus software and version
are you running... Is it a trial or subscribed and up to date version. You
should use only one Anti-virus product and completely uninstall any AV products
that came with your PC purchase that you do not purchase. (BREWY)-I have had
Microsoft Security Essentials-(MSE) and have had AVG and didnt fix anything.
I've got MSE also on laptop with no problems.)
Does you PC have finger print
recognition... is it turned on?( I don't have this function.)
If you do not want to pursue the
problem any further, you can uninstall the Windows update
(Windows>Update>View Installed Updates) and remove that KB update, and
wait until the IETeam or Windows teams release the next update. However, not
every body is being impacted by that update item... the cause is more likely to
be your computer's configuration and third party software that you have
installed. (I've uninstalled/installed IE11 about 6 times to see if it hasn't
configured properly and problem consist, it would be good if there was a program
to see diagnose exactly what the problem is. If I could get the version without
the (IS)on the end, it should fix the problem, its just trying to find out what
installed update will take it back to the IE11 version on my
laptop.)

    What is your current situation?
    Have you checked the suggestions by Robert?
    When opening PC the start menu will automatically start Internet Explorer in APP mode, and if we set Internet Explorer to open in desktop mode, then it will automatically open under desktop when start?
    As we have no Internet Explorer in startup configured, so it won't start by itself. We may try to replace Internet Explorer item's position on the start menu with a different APP, then check what happens(drag and drop the desktop icon on the place of the
    Internet Explorer);
    Is the MSN webpage your home page here? If not, then there might be some application on the startup automatically launches this page, we may take a try to disable one at a time to check; and if this is your default home page, try to replace it with another
    one, then change it back.

    To change the title of the browser go to:
    System Administration > System Configuration > Service Configuration > Portal Runtime > Central Configuration.
    Scroll down to: portal.html.head.title
    and change to required name.
    Do restart ur portal for the changes to take effect.
    Revert back if changes have taken place or not?
    In addition,
    U need to restart portal server ( logoff will not help)

    Oracle JInitiator 1.3.1.22

    I was having similar issues turned out to be a problem with the Jinitiator proxy setting. If you go into Win->control panel->Jinitiator Then Proxies and UNCHECKE the 'Use browser settings' option it may fix the problem.
    My Setup: Winxp SP3, IE7.0.5730.11CO, Jinitiator 1.3.1.26
    I was able to open Apps using Firefox3 fine, but IE was crashing everytime Jinitiator started. Turns out it's because of how the proxies in IE versus FF were setup, so it could open via the FF browser Proxy setting but not via the IE7 proxy settings. Telling Jinitiator to NOT use the browser setting enabled me to use both IE7 and FF3
    Note: My company uses a automated proxy configuration script (proxy.pac) so if you have a similar setup to this it may help.

    Boot the computer in Windows Safe Mode with network support (press F8 on the boot screen) as a test to see if that helps.

    Since you are using one of the the school's Macbooks, it is quite possible that the time and date are not properly set on the computer that you are using.  FaceTime will not work if you do not have the proper time zone set up for the location that you are in.  This past week, there were a two other Macbook users I've helped by simply telling them to set the Date/Time properly.  By the way, you described your problem very well, which makes it easier for us to help you.  Hope this solves your problem -- if not, post back and I can suggest other remedies.

  • Internet Explorer freezes when accessing sites using Flash

    I am using Windows 7 64-bit, Internet Explorer 8 32-bit and Flash Player 10.1.r102.64. Also Norton Internet Security 2010.
    I am having multiple problems that seem to have arisen more or less simultaneously, I don't know if they're connected or even if I've caused some while trying to fix others.
    My difficulty with Flash Player is that Internet Explorer seems to freeze whenever attempting to open a web page that uses Flash, I then get the error message "Adobe Flash Player Installer/Uninstaller 10.1 r102 has stopped working."
    Additionally, I find I am unable to install some Software, specifically Chrome, Firefox and CCleaner - the installer seems to run, but then nothing happens. Also my attempts at using System Restore have either failed or made matters worse. Most recently when I open Internet Explorer I get the error message "ButtonMonitor has stopped working."
    I would be most grateful for any insight into how to fix my Flash-related problem, or into the possible relation my difficulties may have to one another.

    Thanks for responding. I'm really getting the impression I'll be better off without Norton. My virus and firewall protection consist of the Norton and whatever is intrinsic to Windows 7. I'm afraid I didn't recognize all the sets of initials you used, so we'll see how I did.

    I don't know what an NPSWF file is, but I didn't see anything I recognized as one. The only file that seems to have version information is FlashUtil10l_ActiveX which is 10.1.102.64
    In Internet Explorer I found ShockwaveFlashObject version 10.1.102.64 listed as "enabled" under both "All add-ons" and "Run without permission"

  • Internet explorer freezes computers

    I have 8 iMacs that are freezing when Internet Explorer is started. All are running 9.2.2. and All started this problem arund the same time. The computers are in a school and are in different rooms. 3 are eMacs. All have differing ammounts of Ram built in but until a couple of weeks ago were running just fine. Came back from Christmas Break and @*@!!
    I have rebuilt the desktop, reset the PRAM, and changed the application memory. Some times I get an error type 1 , sometimes an error type 2 , sometimes it just quits. sometimes they freeze.
    HELP , I have teachers who need these computers for their students.

    Type 1 Errors are bus errors which are most often software bugs in the application that returns the error, insufficient memory assigned to an application, or an extension conflict.
    Type 1, 2, and 3 errors are Mac OS memory-addressing errors.
    Since it happens in an Application my guess is insufficient Memory, which might include lack of HD space for VM.

    Thanks - but Firefox is not supported by my employer and we are restricted to use of Internet Explorer.  I appreciate you taking the time to try and help though   Anyone else have any thoughts?  This is so frustrating not to be able to open pdfs online.

  • Setup system check says internet explorer is open when it's not

    When I get to the setup screen (for the trial version of Illustrator), the first thing is system check. It says my internet explorer is open, and it's not. I've closed all programs that use internet including all of my antivirus and spyware, my vista sidebar, etc. I've opened task manager, gone into processes and tried to end the internet processes but they show up a second later. They just won't close! I've messed with my automatic startup programs, and that didn't work either. I've taken my ethernet cable out and tried that. Nothing works. Anybody know what's going on?

    Does the performance tab of Task Manager show abnormally high CPU usage even when you have nothing running?
    You might have some piece of malware doing nasty stuff. What's showing up as iexplore.exe in Task Manager is probably not Internet Explorer at all.
    Update all your antivirus and spyware definitions and run thorough scans.
    Do a Google search with keyphrase 'internet explorer constantly running,' and you'll turn up some discussions with links to malware removal tools.
