Internet Explorer 7, htm page, flash movie and page jump

I'm developing a simple htm page in dreamweaver which
contains a flash movie. the page works fine in firefox and
netscape, but in internet explorer 7 the page jumps when the
navigation of the flash movie is used. any clues? pls see:

No i haven´t solved the problem jet, i'm investigating about it but the only thing i've found so far is that i.e. 7 and firefox 2.0 are not entirely compatible qith crm icwc, but they haven't released any support package or update to fix the problem, i've just uninstalled it and re-install i.e. 6 and updated it.

How do you obtain the full file path specification from Flash
Movie and QuickTime icons? I want the path and the file name that
is contained in these icons. I am using a "dive" to run through the
icons of a file, and when I come upon these two types of icons, I
want to obtain the above information that is contained in them. I
certainly can look in the property dialog box to get this info, but
there are many icons in these files, and I want to generate a list

You can try Firefox Safe Mode to see if one or more of your add-ons might be causing the problem. Also clearing the cookies for the site might help. The site loaded with current date and animation on my system.

I have VS2013 update 4 and IE11 installed. When I try to sign in through VS I get the following error.

If possible, I suggest you reset IE settings.
Please lower the security level. Then I added the site like https://*.visualstudio.com/ to the trusted zones. Test it again.
I have met this issue before which was related to the IE settings or the account issue.

With the Internet Explorer maintenance no longer in IE9 and above

Hi
I heard someone that With the Internet Explorer maintenance no longer in IE9 and above version of IE.
Is this True ?
As I have lots of GPO of favorites configured in IE maintenance and other as well..
Will they be not supportive any more..
If yes, what is the other solution for all my IE maintenance settings ?

IE maintenance has been deprecated with Group Policy Preferences (GPP), Administrative Templates (.admx), and the Internet Explorer Administration Kit 11 (IEAK 11).

Internet Explorer doesn't handle Flash Form on a single page

On FireFox 2.0.0.12 (Linux), the attach code displays two
accordions.
On Internet Explorer 7 (Windows XP), only one accordion is
displayed.
First, How do I determine if this Internet Explorer or a
Flash error?

Which version of CF you are using there?.. If this is because
of any recent migration (like from MX7 to 8) then try replacing the
"Scripts" directory from CF8 with the one you have with MX7.

On the page where you enter username and password after entering and pressing "Log in" the page just stays in place. If you look at the error log you see

Internet Explorer 9 webpages with flash screwed up

I am having problems loading flash content in IE 9 since I got that browser update. I use Windows 7 64 bit. For the following I use the 32bit internet explorer 9.0.8112.16421
Webpages containing flash content are totally screwed up, for example this page www.vol.at
On loading such pages a message is displayed saying that internet explorer switches into compatibility view due to a display problem.
This occurs even on the page http://get.adobe.com/de/flashplayer/
On the page http://www.adobe.com/software/flash/about/ on the other hand it says "You have version 10,3,181,16 installed"
When uninstalling IE 9 and returning to IE 8 there is no problem.
With firefox 4.0.1 there is no problem at all.
Moreover the "Skype Home" tab of skype 5.3.0.116 is screwed up a similar way to the picture above.
I already tried to reset IE 9 and clear all user data (interestingly this seemed to work for some pages) and I switched off hardware acceleration in IE9

I just got it solved. The actual problem is not flash player, but the old Type-1 font "Helvetica". I just tested with pages containing flash content.

Internet Explorer requests Install of Flash Player

Hi, I'm testing my wed site development with Firefox, Safari and Internet Explorer on Mac and PC systems. When I use Internet explorer it asks me to Install Flash Player even though Flash Player is already installed on the PC. Is there a setting somewhere that I'm missing that tells Explorer to use the Existing Flash Player? Thank you for your help.

I also tried to modify the existing .html (Well a more recent version) by changing just the 14,0,0,0 to 11,0,0,0 in the line of code...

So, I'm guessing that my solution is to modify the published .HTML files as above before my final release. Yes? That is, this issue is not something that can be fixed by modifying the publish settings in Flash. (i.e., It's a Flash Bug). If yes, how do I go about letting Adobe know about it (if they don't already.).
If I understand what is happening, the HTML code is looking for Flash Player 14 and higher, so it always requests an update. Hence, given this fix any updates to Flash player from this point forward should not be an issue since the HTML is looking for Flash Player 11 and above. Correct?

Does firefox has the clip feature that internet explorer has for clipping a article and pasting it to a document.

internet explorer (my os is win 8) has a feature that allows the user to clip and article and paste it to a document, does mozilla has the add on comparable to this, if so where is it and how do I acquire it.

Traditionally, to copy and paste the contents of a web page, you first select the portion of the page you want, then copy using Ctrl+c (or right-click > Copy), then switch over to the receiving application and paste using Ctrl+v (or right-click > Paste).
However, there might be an add-on that gives you a better result depending on what you're looking for.

Try Safari > Preferences > Advanced and down the botton tick Show Develop Menu In Menu Bar. Now you will see Develop in the top menu in Safari, click on it to open the drop down window, go to User Agent and select Internet Explorer and see if this allows you to open the page. Otherwise, as Deggie said, it's up to a Windows Install on your Mac through Bootcamp or Paralells or the like to run IE within Windows.

AS3, Flash movies and buttons

Okay, it's been a while since I used Flash (V.4) and things
have moved on just a smidge since. In previous versions Flash was
intuitive... coding was fairly minimal and doing the basics was
straight forward. I need to use Flash to do some fairly simple
stuff - a few buttons linked with various scenes and movies.
I followed the step-by-step instructions in the tutorial for
making a button to play a movie but:
1. The movie (an FLV) doesn't play (I get a flashing movie
icon when I test the page - the movie works fine when imported to
the scene on its own)
2. The button doesn't work
The code (according to the tutorial) should be:

HELP!!! Internet Explorer 8 wont download Flash 10.1

I am using the IE 8 32 bit browser...i go to get.adobe.com/flashplayer to get the new version...I have uninstalled the previous version first. when i go to download the yellow bar that says AGREE AND DOWNLOAD will not launch the download...I have tried several methods...It works just fine with Mozilla but I need it to work with IE for PLAY ON .....I worked with Microsoft they have no clue and PLAY ON passes the buck...
I am using Spyware doctor for a virus program and just the windows firewall..i have stopped both of them in the mean time to help get this program downloaded..
All I need is FLASH working inside IE and im all set... but it just wont download at all....i did find something where it said to manually install then shut internet connection down..i did that and thats why im here still stuck.
any suggestions!!! they are all apreciated

im sure that is what it was...i found it on the internet and a google search for IE8 wont download flash....
the installer does complete though when i went to the http://www.adobe.com/software/flash/about/ link
but IE8 does not show any flash at all....it wont let it work...i can see the newest version is installed..no flash

In internet explore I could pull email from home page, since installing ff, I can't do this anymore..WHY

I had been using internet explorer as browser, decided to go to Firefox,.
I used to be able to pull up email(Outlook Express) from my homepage, now I can no longer do so since I changed to FF ..actually that is incorrect, sometimes it does pull up...but most of the time it doesn'...sometimes it pulls up , but won't let me open messages...and it never lets me create a new message...

Dear Pat, please forgive my total ignorance about programs. I'm confused as to why when I had only my Windows Media Player with a plain Adobe I could watch all videos and such, and now suddenly I can't watch them unless I install the Adobe Flash Player and a number of other programs too???
I try to avoid using up so much more memory as programs take, as my computer is pretty old (though works well) and it doesn't have much capacity for installing more memory.

Why does it open internet explorer from my mail to open another page now when it didnt before
