Internet Explorer behaves badly displaying WVC54GCA

Hi,
I have setup the above camera and sorted the IP thingie and even embedded it in my page (www.etherington.com/eggs).
In Firefox and various other browsers you get exactly what I was after - an embedded window in the page.
However on IE you'll see that it does not work
- you get this huge border and controls around the image
- you only see part of the image
I have tried several other forums but can't find anyone that can shed any light on how to solve this one.
Any suggestions welcome.

Which version number of Internet Explorer you are using ?
Try downloading the IE v6 and check if it works for you...

  • A page on a website which opens fine in Internet Explorer does not display accurately in Firfox...how can I fix this?

    I usually only use Firefox and don't compare screens between Internet Explorer and Firefox. However I was working on a website I am developing with a friend in Seattle and she sent me a trial and the pages don't fit on the screen right, for instance there is a return mail form that runs out of its box and leaves off the bottom of the page. She was having no trouble opening it on her computer (even in Firefox). It opens easily and correctly on my wife's computer in Internet Explorer, as it does on my computer. It is only in Firefox on my computer that it opens wrong. Also, and perhaps it is not related, opening videos in Firefox on my computer takes a long time when they open isntantly on my wife's computer in IE. I have more ready memory, more RAM and more graphics software on my computer than she does. Why should this be happening only in Firefox? I was so happy not using Internet Explorer any longer.
    I have attached a link to a page that I am having trouble with. It is not the only one. My screen does not show me the bottom of the response form where I can submit the form. It only shows half of the image verification code and no place to submit. I bet when you open it up you will see the whole screen.

    I am also having problems with a site I am building. No matter what websafe font I use it displays as New Times Roman in FireFox. The correct fonts show in both IE9 and Chrome.
    In addition, text shifts in FireFox. I have to position other text objects farther and farther apart as I go down the page or they start to overlap. Nav buttons and other images also have to be positioned in the wrong place for them to be in the correct place when the page is opened in FireFox. FireFox should display pages correctly by default. I can't expect th average user to have to tweek his/her settings to display my site.
    I have been recommending FireFox on my website as the best browser. I might have to change that and abandon FireFox myself.

  • Internet explorer doesn't display sites correctly unless they are trusted

    This is an odd problem. On the reference image prior to it being sysprep'd and captured, going to certain sites (e.g. lifehacker.com) the menus, all pictures and advertisements display just fine. But once capture and deploy that image those sites stop working
    the way they should. I made sure the unattend file was making zero changes to IE and I even disabled the IE configuration app that I made with IEAK to ensure that IE was being setup as is out of the box, but something is changing the way it operates and it
    fails to work the way it did before it get deployed to a client. I don't have any extra add-ons and no tracking protection lists.
    The big problem is it causes compatibility issues with lots of sites, such as menus not appearing when you hover like they should. I even tried building a clean machine from the Microsoft media directly and creating IEAK packages from that, a totally clean
    machine. That didn't work either.
    Anyone else have weird problems like this before?

    Windows 8.1 IE 11. Yesterday I built a new image with all the latest updates released yesterday.
    My "Base Package" of apps is:
    Visual Studio Tools 2010
    Chrome
    Firefox
    Adobe Reader
    Flash Player
    Java RE
    7-ZIP
    BOX
    VLC Player
    The reference image itself contains Office 2013. This issue only affects Internet Explorer in normal view, if you use Private Mode the same site that didn't work, works just fine. I've tried experimenting with not enabling any add-ons and using "Reset"
    in IE, but nothing works.
    I am using copy profile, but I can assure you the administrator profile works just fine with all sites in the reference image before it's sysprepped and captured. But then again IE works fine until after the first reboot when deployed to a client.

  • Production Portal is displaying "Internet Explorer can not displayed the

    Dear Experts,
    Production Portal is throughing "Internet Explore page can not be displayed the webpage" while accessing the .par file application.
    In Aceptance portal after 2-3 minutes its displaying output. But in production it is taking morehtan 15minutes and finally, it is throughing "Internet Explorer page can not be diaplayed the webpage". I asked the BASIS to chek the Timeout parameter and they said, it maintained for 10minutes. And also they are not ready to increase Timeout parameter morthan 10minutes.
    Could you please help, how can i solve my problem?

    Thanks for the rsponce. The application is working fine from the past 2years. We haven;t done any changes in the application. Yedterday we done same activity, but this time it has taken morethan 40minutes process. After 40minutes it displayed "Internet Explore cannot display the webpage" again. BASIS people are telling, in backend control is staying around 260 seconds. After that control is going to portal and Java code is taking morethan 10minutes to execute the remaining steps. I have seen Java code, but nothing is there. Just it is displaying the data from backend.
    Could you please help me, how can i trace this problem. And also not understanding where the control is going.

  • Internet Explorer 9 not displaying images

    Hello there,
    I just purchased a new Satellite L755 (S5106).  I'm using Windows 7 SP1, IE9.  In several forums I belong to, the avatars of users and user posted/linked images are replaced with a red X.  I've tried Microsoft support, the individual forum supports, and Windows updates.  In addition I've manipulated my IE9 settings to allow all cookies and "show pictures".  I'm totally stumped, and have turned to Toshiba assuming it must be with this new computer.  I have been using Windows 7 and IE9 on two other machines (an Asus and an Acer) with no complications or difficulties.

    One more thing did occur to me, Aaron. Since ALL browsers are affected, maybe uninstalling and reinstalling the display driver might help and it surely can't hurt.  The easiest way to do that is go to Device Manager, double click on Display Adapters, right click your adapter, click Uninstall and then restart your computer and the adapter will be automatically reinstalled..
    Of course, that will only reinstall the original driver. I notice on the Toshiba Download Site for L755D-S5106  that a new AMD Display Driver is available with a revision date of 11/23/2011. If that's the one you need, it might pay to just go the new route from the beginning.

  • Internet explorer 8 not displaying margin

    I have a section on the left side of the website that has the main navigation menu (a spry vertical menubar).  Beneath that I have a "What's New" div that is a small square that is the same width as the spry vertical menubar.  This new items has a 20 pixel top margin to separate it from the spry vertical menubar.  This display just fine in IE7 and Firefox.  However, in IE8 the 20 pixel margin is gone unless I click the compatibility view button.  The margin is created using an external style sheet on the What's New div so I'm not sure what I should do to satisfy IE8.  Thanks.

  • Internet Explorer 11 Bad Request 400

    I have looked at all the help online for this issue and I've tried them. However, it's not fixing the issue. I can only open up google, but if I go to any other site it always says bad request. How do I fix this?

    HTTP 400 bad request：It means the request can not be understood by web server because of malformed syntax.
    What have you changed since you started getting the HTTP 400 error?
    To narrow down the possibility, you can try using the onther broswers to check if this issue only occurs in IE.

  • Mozilla Firefox and internet explorer aren't displaying some pages correctly, but google chrome is. Some pictures aren't loading correctly.

    On yahoo and google, the little picture screenshots aren't loading. On youtube, the logo isn't loading.

    You may want to try creating a new profile or disabling hardware acceleration.

  • Classic FDM 11.1.2.3  :  getting error while importing data : internet explorer can not display the webpage

    hello All,
    we are on EPM 11.1.2.3.500.
    when FDM client user click on import from workflow in FDM , for some time it shows processing then they get following error.
    when user gets log off and then log in then they found gold fish for import.
    so it mean that imports gets completed but it is not getting updated in FDM web url.
    any idea ?

    The web session is timing out on the user, but the process is still going to be running in the background.
    The FDM doc cites the one-hour timeout related to IE and links to the TechNet doc on this... does the session time-out after an hour?:

  • I receive e-mails from Quilted Paradise and they have pictures on their forum. These pictures will not display in Mozilla Firefox but will display in Internet Explorer. What do I need to do. Also, a larger reading area.

    If I save the page as a web archive and then open it MS Word - I see the following text at the bottom:

    JavaScript is enabled - via Tools / Internet Options / Security - the checkbox for Active Scripts is set to enabled.

  • Opening XML files In Internet Explorer Using WebLogic

    Hi,
    i am developing a web application which runs under web logic. When a link is clicked to open a new browser window which will contain an XML file there are no problems using Firefox, however when i do the same in IE, a new window opens but it remains blank, not showing any XML content.
    Any ideas why this could be happening?

    If you refer to the XML content (including the tags, "raw XML"), then the Internet Explorer fails to display the content of the XML using the style sheet.
    Another option is that you configured the Internet Explorer to always display the raw content instead of using the style sheet.

  • Internet Explorer 9 webpages with flash screwed up

    I am having problems loading flash content in IE 9 since I got that browser update. I use Windows 7 64 bit. For the following I use the 32bit internet explorer 9.0.8112.16421
    Webpages containing flash content are totally screwed up, for example this page www.vol.at
    On loading such pages a message is displayed saying that internet explorer switches into compatibility view due to a display problem.
    This occurs even on the page http://get.adobe.com/de/flashplayer/
    On the page http://www.adobe.com/software/flash/about/ on the other hand it says "You have version 10,3,181,16 installed"
    When uninstalling IE 9 and returning to IE 8 there is no problem.
    With firefox 4.0.1 there is no problem at all.
    Moreover the "Skype Home" tab of skype 5.3.0.116 is screwed up a similar way to the picture above.
    I already tried to reset IE 9 and clear all user data (interestingly this seemed to work for some pages) and I switched off hardware acceleration in IE9

    I just got it solved. The actual problem is not flash player, but the old Type-1 font "Helvetica". I just tested with pages containing flash content.

  • Changes to uploaded website colors will not change on firefox, although it showa on internet explorer

    I uploaded my website with filezilla. Color changes were made. Om firefox the old clors still show, even after refresh. On internet explorer the website displays the correct colors.

    I expect this is due to the old version of the website being saved in Firefox's cache rather than being downloaded from the internet.
    You can refresh a web page without using cache (full page refresh) by clicking Ctrl + F5 on the keyboard.
    If that doesn't work the clear the cache using the instructions here: [[How to clear the Firefox cache]].
    Also I notice that you are using Firefox v23. This is now an outdated version. To get the latest security fixes I recommend upgrading to v24. See here for more: [[Update Firefox to the latest version]]

  • With or without add-ons, and after removing/reloading Firefox, some sites behave badly, though they're fine with Internet Explorer.

    The computer in question is running Vista. With Firefox 8, some websites, e.g. Whitepages.com, livefreept.com, behave badly. Spedifically, they require the user to click on tabs. But the tabs don't appear at all. I upgraded to Firefox 10, to no effect. The sites work fine on this same computer with Internet Explorer, and on both our XP and Windows 7 computers using older older versions of Firefox. All three are using the same Norton Internet Security program, with the same settings. Starting in safe mode, with no add-ons has no effect. Help!
