Internet explorer does not work even though i have connection

i barely got this two days ago. i cannot use internet explorer as it says something is wrong with my connection. thats a lie! its working perfectly. luckliy, i downloaded google chrome before i had this problem. how do i fix it?
also, hp support assistant at the bottom of my screen has a red exclamation mark. and my norton security couldnt fix itself? whats going on!

That is easy you have the same Internet Explorer as I do. Left click on the lock washer icon then select Internet Options. When window opens click on advance tab then click on Reset and then ok. You are all set now. It should restore the Internet Explorer to orginal settings. If that doesn't work for some unknown reason go to your control pannel some where you should be able to unstall programs on your computer. Internet Explorer is an update so you want to look for it in update section not programs list. Un install and down load a nother copy. http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/search#q=internet+explorer You have to unistall the corrupted one first. Other wise the down load page will say you have the latest version installed. frrw.

Ouch, if it is indeed damaged, then sadly you need to restore the whole danged huge OS!
Didn't used to be this way before Lion/10.7.
Bootup holding CMD+r, or the Option/alt key to boot from the Restore partition & use Disk Utility from there to Repair the Disk, then Repair Permissions.
If that doesn't help Reinstall the OS.

FMLE does not work publishing though AMS server connection succeeds

Using Adobe Media Server we've run into a problem.
Occasionally "FlashMediaLiveEncoder does not work on publishing, though AMS server connection succeeds."
As soon as clients are connected to AMS, they get disconnected and cannot publish a stream.
After restarting AMS (command: "/opt/adobe/ams/amsmgr server ams restart") it comes back to normal.
Seems amscore hangs up for a while.
AMS version: 5.0.6 r9003 x64
OS: Amazon Linux 6.3

I bought apps under a previous user ID that was subsequently changed to my mobileme ID when I joined iCloud. Now the apps purchased under the old ID can not update. I have reset the password under the old ID several times and each time get the reply that my password was successfully reset, but still can't log into my account under the old ID and can't update those apps. Its just Apple's system. They won't charge you so I wouldn't worry about giving them the billing information.

What EXACTLY is the message you're getting? If it says that ID can't be used to activate the phone, you have to use the same iCloud ID you had previously used to set up Find my iPhone. It's called Activation Lock. It's an anti-theft feature.

You cannot replace just the chip. If all of the various solutions suggested in Apple's support documents and here in these forums do not help, you will need to 1) take or send your iPhone to Apple for replacement, 2) pay to have an unauthorized third-party shop attempt repairs, or 3) attempt repairs yourself. The latter two options will void any further support from Apple.

Make sure the silent switch is not set to mute. If you can see the red dot, it is on mute.
It may think you have headphones plugged in, try plugging and unplugging a wired headset a few time.
The next step would be to restore as new.
If none of that works, a warranty exchange would be the resolution.

usually this isn't relevant to the Mac side of things, but on the PC side of things do you have McAfee Privacy Service installed on the PC? if so, try disabling that and having another look in IE 6. can you see the buttons now?
on the Mac side of things ... do you have java/javascript enabled?

Try going into Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars > select the account > account name , tap on SMTP (under the 'Outgoing Mail Server' heading) and then tap on your Primary Server and try entering your email account and password and see if you can then send emails

As these are public forums, you're not talking to iTunes Support, I've asked the hosts to remove your email address from your post - it's not a good idea to post it unless you like spam email.
The reset link will only show if you have a rescue email address on your account - a rescue email address is not the same as an alternate/secondary email address, they are different addresses/settings on an account.
If you don't have a rescue email address (you won't be able to add one until you can answer 2 of your questions) then you won't get the reset option - you will need to contact iTunes Support / Apple to get the questions reset.
