Internet Explorer's forward/backward for next/previous image

In addition to right/left arrow to move to next/previous image I would like LR team to add this keyboard shortcut:
Use Internet Explorer's forward for next image.
Use Internet Explorer's backward for previous image.
Here is the reason. I have ViewSonic mouse with five buttons. Extra two buttons I use for forward/backward command within Internet Explorer. It would be nice if the same two extra buttons I could use in LR.
At the moment I have the two extra buttons programmed to function as right/left arrow. That allows me to use them to go next/previous image in LR. In order to use them as a forward/backward command within IE I have to press Alt key.
It would be nice if LR team could add IE forward/backward to the list of keyboard shortcuts.

This is a function of the mouse driver...you should be able to configure settings based on the current application so LR and IE can use the same keys but it'll mean different things in each app.

Cursor keys do not properly change to next/previous image

Since a few days, one of my two Lightroom-computers shows a permanent, quite annoying bug, regarding the curser left/right key:
It happens in loupe view:
When I press the cursor-right key, Lightroom doesn't change to the next image
Instead, it doesn't stop changing to the next image before it reaches the end of the folder .
Correspondingly with cursor-left, which takes me always to the first image in of the folder...
Browsing in loupe view is nearly impossible, just the mousewheel still allows to change to the next/previous image.
This happens for all sets, catalogues, folders, etc. If I have selection, then it takes me to the first/last image of the selection, nothing in between possible.
Any advice, what went wrong with my system? Everything was smooth a few weeks ago, and everything works fine on my other computer, which should just behave the same...

After hours of testing, I identified the reason:
The problem was raised by the service "skdaemon.exe".
It's meant to be a keyboard enhancing utility, which was preinstalled (und later updated) on this computer.
After deactivation (from autostart), LR works fine again, and I didn't notice any missing keyboard functions yet.
Maybe, this helps someone else in getting around that problem, and thanks for the support.

I read many times in this forum that Planning faces problem with Internet explorer 7.0 and better to use earlier version. otherwise some settings required in IE 7.0.

i am having notebook with Core 2 Duo + 2.5 GB RAM + Vista Premium. as i feel my envirnment (OS) is not stable enough due to some reason. wolud you recommend me to use VMware for planning+essbase if yes then which ver or product. so that i can enjoy my learning rather than just putting my head into technology.....

Internet Explorer has no place for me to hit "print". What do I do?

On my Internet Explorer, I have no place to hit "print". Even when I right click, there's no choice for "print". What's my problem? I am not computer literate, so please instruct me in "everyday" language. Thank you.

That isn't a built-in feature of Firefox, so you might already have the add-on. Sometimes add-ons become disabled due to not being up-to-date. Or if you used the Firefox Reset feature, none of your extensions are retained.
You can check the status of your extensions on the following screen. Note that the disabled ones cluster at the bottom:
orange Firefox button (or Tools menu) > Add-ons > Extensions category
If you have Print/Print Preview can you enable it?
You can check for updates using the "gear" button > Check for Updates (the gear button appears above the list of extensions).
If you do not have the Print/Print Preview extension, try the earlier link to go get it.

Internet Explorer not recording scores for SCORMS

I am having a problem with Internet Explorer not recording the scores for SCORMS developped in Captivate 7. A Forum in Moodle suggested that the problem is that Internet Explorer always has an error with the instruction DoBeforeUnload. I can see that this is always causing a problem. Do you have any suggestions or work arounds for this?

I am using Captivate 7 to produce the SCORMS, and the courses are hosted in MOODLE 2.5. The scores are recorded well in google Chrome but not in Internet Explorer. I have been trying out the courses with Internet Explorer 10 and 11 and both produce the same error:
A moodle forum suggested that IE10 and IE11 do not like the command DoBeforeUnload, and need the command BeforeUnload. (I have checked the Moodle SCORM API and the commands and scores are being sent.)

How do I enlarge a small photo I have scanned to my computer photo album ("My Pictures") to facebook; the steps that worked for Internet Explorer won't work for Mozilla?

When I open an email with images, Outlook Express keeps defaulting to Internet Explorer rather than FireFox to get the image, since I have IE disabled this means that I see no image. I have FF set as my default browser. Please can you help?

I first noticed the problem 3 months ago when a virus set a proxy on Internet Explorer. Removal of the proxy brought the image back, but this showed that Outlook Express uses IE to get images even when FF is set as default browser

Are you running a recent version of Outlook Web App (i.e., Exchange 2010)?

What is the Keyboard Shortcut for Next/Previous Message in Lion Mail?

Using the 'full screen' message viewer (rather than the preview pane) how do I progress to an older/newer message in a folder without closing the window?

Hi,
Lets say A is transfering asset to B with profit... so there will be
a unrealized profit that has to be eliminated in the group reporting.. Lets say I manage to eliminate this in bcs,
so, the bcs retained earning will be reduce due to this unrealized profit right?
when the balance carry forward next period, bcs b/f retained profit is the profit after we eliminate the unrealized profit.
When we do load from the data stream again, the b/f retained earning in R/3 will still include the unrealized profit right?
how do we want to make the unrealised profit to be eliminated permanently?

Remember that all data load (without manual entries) happens in the posting level PL = 00. Eliminations are done on PL = 20 or 30.
And during the bcf the data becoming a new initial balance goes to period 000.

"ECL viewer" 4 Internet explorer or similar solution for attachments in WDA

Hi,
When viewing attachments in our WDA application (DOCX, TIFF, PDF, etc.) we are dependent of the user installing the right programs to view them. Adobe reader for PDF, Word for DOCX, Alternatiff for TIFF etc.
Is it possible to install a client application that does what ECL/SAP Viewer does in R/3?
OR
Would it be possible to handle this purely inside WDA?
Either would certainly ease client setup on the portal.

Thanks for moving it, I didn't notice the .NET section.
No, it's not a time-out. I can make it crash immediately by opening the page, clicking on the button to refresh the report, changing the parameters, and then clicking the button again.
Edit:
This is very strange. Using Fiddler to launch IE makes it behave itself! It won't crash! However, when I go to the site with IE launched by Fiddler, it asks me for my login credentials. I'm not sure why it needs them. What does Fiddler do to IE to make it not include network authentication?

Very simply what I need to do is almost identical to what you
see here:

When you click "next" and "previous" the images swap through
a series
called "img1.gif" "img2.gif" and "img3.gif"
So far so good. However let us assume there is also a set of
images called
"img1_lrg.gif" "img2_lrg.gif" and "img3_lrg.gif" which are
larger
versions of those little thumbnails. I need for the
appropriate associated
large image to popup in its own window when the thumb is
clicked.
Has anyone a lead on something like that?

That sounds simple, where are you stuck? Do you not know how
to open a
popup? BTW, the JustSo Picture Window extension would be
perfect for
the popups.
