Internet Explorer "yellow triangle with an exclamation mark"

Hi Guys,
I have an ADF project that consists of one jspx screen for the menu and a region on the right that host the JSFF screens (basically your menu selection).
Now each time that I minimize the Internet Explorer window to do something on my PC (ex: check emails, work on a document, …..), and I come back to the ADF screen (let’s say after 1 hour or more) I see on some of the component (ex: af:commandButto or af:commandToolbarButton or ….) a “yellow triangle with an exclamation mark”, this does not restrict you from using these components, but to get rid of that exclamation mark, you need to close the screen and open it again.
Does anyone have any idea, what can cause this and how to solve it??????? Or at least point me in the right direction on how to debug it????????????
Note that JDev console log does not report any warning or error message.
JDev 11.1.1.6
Internet Explorer version 8
Thanks,
Alain.

  • Why is there a yellow triangle with an exclamation mark next to a pic in a photo book?

Why is there a yellow triangle with an exclamation mark next to a pic in an iPhoto book? What does it mean? Pic was emailed from an iPhone.

the photo is low resolution - less that 180 DPI - you can ignore if you choose but Apple will not stand behind the quality of the printing for that photo - it may be fuzzy or even unacceptable to you - or may not be - I have printed photos with a LowRes warning and been ok with the results
What is the size of the photo (pixels) and the size of the frame you placed it in (inches) - divide the pixel dimensions by inches and you have DPI (Dots Per Inch)

  • I've been trying to link my apple id to my macbook. every time i try this it doesn't work and gives me a little yellow triangle with an exclamation mark in. any help on the matter would be great.

so everytime i try and link my apple id to my macbook (mid 07) it doesnt work and i get the yellow triangle. i recently reset my mac as i forgot my password. in the process i made another user to reset my password. doing this i went through the complete start up of a macbook (from when you buy from new). i dont know if this has anything to do with this problem. but i have now deleted that user.
    any help is much appriciated.

For what it's worth, you posted this in 2011, and here in 2014 I am still having this same issue. Over the last two days, I have had to unlock my apple account 8 times. I didn't get any new devices. I haven't initiated a password reset. I didn't forget my password. I set up two factor authentication and have been able to do the unlocking with the key and using a code sent to one of my devices.
    That all works.
It's this having to unlock my account every time I go to use any of my devices. And I have many: iMac, iPad, iPad2, iPad mini, iPhone 5s, iPod touch (daughter), and my old iPhone 4 being used as an ipod touch now.  They are all synced, and all was working just fine.
I have initiated an incident with Apple (again) but I know they are just going to suggest I change my Apple ID. It's a simple one, and one that I am sure others think is theirs. I don't want to change it. I shouldn't have to. Apple should be able to tell me who is trying to use it, or at least from where.
    Thanks for listening,
    Melissa

  • I had to get a new hard drive and some of my pictures show up but when I go to click on them to open them there is a triangle with an exclamation mark.

I had to get a new hard drive and some of my pictures show up but when I go to click on them to open them there is a triangle with an exclamation mark. Did I loose those pictures or is there a problem with iphoto

How about the most likely occurance - something incorrect about how the iPhoto library was transfered
What version of iPhoto '11 (9.4.3 is the latest)?
exactly how was your iPhoto library transfered to your new hard drive
This indicates that there is a problem in the iPhoto database - a possible solution to try is Back up your iPhoto library, Depress and hold the option (alt) and command keys and launch iPhoto - rebuild your iPhoto library
Why did you get a new hard drive? What kind of backup do you have?

  • Iphoto thumbnails ok but have triangle with an exclamation mark when I click on the thumbnail so can't view it as a bigger picture.

In my iPhoto the thumbnails are all present but when I click on them the bigger picture is not visible and I can see a triangle with an exclamation mark in it. Has anyone got any suggestions?

That means iPhoto has lost the link to the original file.
    What version of iPhoto?
Are you running a Managed or a Referenced Library?
(A Managed Library, is the default setting, and iPhoto copies files into the iPhoto Library when Importing. The files are then stored in the Library package
A Referenced Library is when iPhoto is NOT copying the files into the iPhoto Library when importing because you made a change at iPhoto -> Preferences -> Advanced. (You unchecked the option to copy files into the Library on import) The files are then stored where ever you put them and not in the Library package. In this scenario you are responsible for the File Management.)
Have you used any apps to "clean" or "tune up" your Mac recently?
Have you deleted any images from 'All My Files' or 'All My Photos'?

  • My ipod will not stay connected to my computer.  When first plugged into the usb port, I can see it as a drive.  Within seconds it disappears.  If I look in the devices area, I can see it but it has a yellow triangle with an exclamation point beside it.

When I connect my ipod to a usb port on my computer, I can see it in my computer as a drive for a few seconds and then it disappears.  It can be seen under devices but as a yellow triangle with an exclamation point in it.  If I run trouble shoot, it states windows is disconnecting this device.
I can see it in itunes as a device.  However, this is a brand new computer, running windows 7.  My last one bit the dust in mid use.  I want to save the songs on my ipod and to do that I believe I need to be able to see the files on the ipod.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Great Troubleshooting on your own so far!. (If you got 2 PC and 2 iPod would be much easier, some of the people in this community has more than 2 of each.)
Hope you did not connect it to a USB Hub, the sync cable must be plug in directly to a USB2 port at the back of the Desktop Computer.
If you have a spare Notebook, with iTunes, connect it to the Notebook, to check if the iPod is working or hung.
Can you iPod run and play songs, when disconnected from the PC? (Sorry, for just asking the obvious)
Anyway, just hard reset your iPod, so that we can start from scratch
    1. if your iPod is hung, reset it by pressing Menu and Center button for at least 10 secs till the Apple logo, comes on. (this won't delete your songs in the iPod, if they are not corrupted))
    2. Connect it back to your Notebook or Desktop.
if your iPod screen is dead, try charging the battery by connecting it to another computer. if it doesn't connect to successfully to another computer, it may need servicing.
    Good luck!

  • What does a triangle with an exclamation mark mean?

In Photos I see a thumbnail. When I click to see it alone I get a black screen with a triangle with an exclamation mark in it...what is going on?

Apply the two fixes below in order as needed:
    Fix #1
Launch iPhoto with the Command+Option keys held down and rebuild the library.
Since only one option can be run at a time start with Option #3, followed by #4 and then #1 as needed.
    Fix #2
Using iPhoto Library Manager  to Rebuild Your iPhoto Library
1 - download iPhoto Library Manager and launch.
2 - click on the Add Library button, navigate to your Home/Pictures folder and select your iPhoto Library folder.
3 - Now that the library is listed in the left hand pane of iPLM, click on your library and go to the File ➙ Rebuild Library menu option.
4 - In the next  window name the new library and select the location you want it to be placed.
5 - Click on the Create button.
Note: This creates a new library based on the LIbraryData.xml file in the library and will recover Events, Albums, keywords, titles and comments.  However, books, calendars, cards and slideshows will be lost. The original library will be left untouched for further attempts at fixing the problem or in case the rebuilt library is not satisfactory.

  • What is the gray triangle with the exclamation mark?

Samsung G4.  In text messages, what does the gray triangle with the exclamation mark mean?

    1. Displays when external SD card has been improperly removed or unexpectedly.
    2. Displays to alert you to disable active WiFi direct connection if not in use to conserve power.
    3. Displays when there is a system error or alert.
Those are the three reasons I found,  It's probably #3.

have you done any "clean up" on your Mac using the finder or cleaner software recently?
This indicates a disconnect between the Thumbnail and the original
this can be caused by two things
1 - User action deleting items from inside the iPhoto  library - can be directly - can be from the All images list (never delete from there) - can be from running cleanup software like MacKeeer, CleanMac2  or other dangerous, defective software that improperly deletes or changes things in the iPhoto library - if you have done any of these things you must restore your backup from before you did them and damaged your iPhoto library - and I recommend getting rid of any "clean up software" ASAP (although being essentially MalWear it is not easy)
2 - corruption of the iPhoto library - If it is not #1 then Back up your iPhoto library, Depress and hold the option (alt) and command keys and launch iPhoto - rebuild your database

  • I have an iMac and iphoto.  Currently I am having a problem with an album in iphoto.  When I double click on the album all I get in the main body of the screen is a triangle with an exclamation mark and my 2 photos show at the very bottom of the window.

I have an imac and am using iphoto.  Currently I am having a problem with one particular album which shows in the main part of the window a triangle with an exclamation point.  The two photos are at the bottom of the main window in the same area where the "info" "edit" "create" area is.  I can see the two photos but I can not get them back into the main part of the window.  I can't drag them anywhere either.  I can't double click or right click on either of the two photos either. All I can do is click on either one and they get a little bigger.  Before I saw the exclamation point in the main body of the window all I get is two squares with nothing in them and the entire border is made up of dashes.  Can someone help me?

Make a temporary, backup copy of your library if you don't already have one (Control-click on the library and select Duplicate from the contextual menu) and  apply the two fixes below in order as needed:

  • I uploaded pictures from my camera then allowed iphoto to delete them from my camera. However, when I went to edit the pictures the thumbnails were viewable but when I clicked on the photos there was a triangle with an exclamation mark inside. Help!

I also tried to upload the pictures onto my blog...but I couldn't click on the files as it seems they aren't there even though I can see the picture. The font of the file/picture name is grey instead of black indicating I am not allowed to click on it to open.

The ! turns up when iPhoto loses the connection between the thumbnail in the iPhoto Window and the file it represents.

  • Yellow triangle with exclamation mark under iPod Properties - Hardware

I am not able to see my iPod shuffle icon on itunes.  When I viewed iPod properties - hardware, I see a yellow triangle with an exclamation mark and it says, "USB Mass Storage Device". What does this mean and how can I fix it?  Also, device status:  Windows in uninstalling this device. (Code 21)

Since you use Windows XP, see if this document and procedure related to the iPod's drive letter is applicable.

  • Why do i see a yield symbol with an exclamation mark in final cut pro 7.

Why when editing in Final Cut Pro 7 do I see a yellow triangle with an exclamation mark in it when stopped.  I sometimes see a gree check mark and am wondering the differnce and how to adjust?

Because you have the View set to display a warning for excess chroma. You can turn that off by going to the menu View > Range Check > Off.

  • Portal content not transporting.  Yellow triangle with exclamation shows.

    Hi,
I cannot move 2 new folders and 10 iViews from my DEV portal to my QC portal.  When I try, the package shows up in QC, but when I look at the package, a yellow triangle with a exclamation point inside shows to the immediate left of the items to move.  And if I select any one of the objects to get properties, I get the errror "Failed to get Property Editor! null".  Further, I cannot create the folders manually on QC, because it get an error

One of the iViews is built from a custom PAR.  When I first attempted to import this package, the PAR did not exist.  I have since loaded the PAR.
It seems that the folders exist "somewhere" in the portal, but I cannot see them in the "content admin" mode.
What can I do to resolve this?
    Thank you for any help!
    Kevin

This has been solved.  I noticed that other portal developers could see the content without error.  As it turns, what I had to do was refresh cache on the server, and clear my browser cache.  Once I did this, everything appeared as normal.
    Thanks for the help.
