Internet load sharing
Hi,
I want to load share traffic for my two network segments. I have two routers with each internet circuit running BGP with two different ISPs(ISP- A & ISP-B). Also running IBGP between two routers. Since i have two /24 segments(not provided by ISP) so i want one segment to prefer via ISP A & other segment to prefer via ISP B. I have configured EBGP & IBGP and configured AS-path prepend but i see some asymmetric behaviour. Source traffic which prefer via ISP -A is going via it but incoming traffic is via ISP-B.
Pls suggest how this asymmetric behaviour could be fixed.
Hi. Pls see below config. I have ASA configured with ip x.x.x.5 so while tracing from firewall to another location public ip(USA) trace goes to router-A via ISP-A. But when do trace from USA to ASA it goes through ISP-B.

The copy error occurs when you try to copy the files to the main OS that has allocated the VM ?
Because another option is to get those files toward the VM across and ftp server. You could use
an ftp server installed in the main machine or in the network where you are connected o inclusive from
your mail if you have connection to internet.

Internet Load Balancing - Routing Issue
Dear all, good day...
in our ministry we are going to contract with 2 ISPs to provide us with the internet service (one of them will be the main line 16 MB, and the other line will be working as a backup line). Now, here is my question, is there any router that can holds the 2 ISPs lines at the same time and have the fail over property and load balancing, or i have to use 2 different routers (we have CISCO 2821) to do the load balancing between the 2 internet lines. ThankxHi Tareq
There are many ways you can do.But depending on your requirement. If you are using 2 ISPs and all of ISPs are willing to do BGP then that is the right way you should do. For doing load-sharing.please check this link out.
http://www.cisco.com/en/US/tech/tk365/technologies_configuration_example09186a00800945bf.shtml
Just my thought. In case one of your ISPs can't do BGP then you can use the policy-based routing feature to do out-bound load-sharing(inside to ISPs) by classifying traffics you want.
Try to understand technology first.

BGP requirements and load sharing
Hi !
I have been reading memory requirements for running BGP. But, for a tipical scenario with dual ISP for load sharing which are the requirements for the router ?
Could we use a 1841 or thinking about 37x5 or higher router ? I know that it depends on size for routing table, AS, and so on but what is the rule of thumb for choosing the correct router ?
Thanks
Rafa

Achieve Optimal Routing and Reduce BGP Memory ConsumptionRoutes is one constraint and traffic is one more and the kind of policies i apply would be another. If i took a default from my upstream with about 1 MB of traffic, i would definitely look at 1841. If received routes ( atleast 20,000) and about 1 MB or 2 MB and 2 or more upstreams, I may even settle for a 3850.

thanks in advanceThat could be an accessibility issue. Check the user with whom you installed Apache server. Check the user has permissions to access the libraries.

disabled SELinux then run it.
I didn't get any errors and have it up and running. Here is what I did:
Full Fedora Core 4 install with SELinux enabled (default settings). Then, after install, disable SELinux in the /etc/selinux/config file.

Preference Error: Could not load sharing preference pane
For some reason my second computer (iMac 27) is no longer showing up on the left pane of any finder window on my MBP. The iMac is running Yosemite and the MBP is running Mavericks. So I open System preferences to see if there is a problem with "Sharing" on the MBP. I'm getting a Preference Error: Could not load sharing preference pane. Do I need to install the update to fix this? I'm not ready to commit to Yosemite completely. I build apps for iOS and Mac and really need to test in both OS environments.
Do a backup.
Quit the application.
Go to Finder and select your user/home folder. With that Finder window as the front window, either select Finder/View/Show View options or go command - J. When the View options opens, check ’Show Library Folder’. That should make your user library folder visible in your user/home folder. Select Library. Then go to Preferences/com.apple.systempreferences.plist. Move the .plist to your desktop.
Restart the computer, open the application and test. If it works okay, delete the plist from the desktop.
If the application is the same, return the .plist to where you got it from, overwriting the newer one.

Error in loading shared libraries
Hi there,
I installed Oracle 8.1.5 on RH 6.1 and I'm getting the following error when trying to run 'dbstart'
svgmgrl: error in loading shared libraries: /opt/oracle/8i/u01/app/oracle/product/8.1.5/lib/libclntsh.so.8.o: undefined symbol: nnflboot
I checked that the library was there but maybe it's corrupt?
Has anyone come across this before?
Cheers,
Michael Gannon.this is because there is a lot of bug in oracle instalation.
the linux.sh scripts or the patches, i don't remenber, lose this file. You have to get it fron the instalation CD.
as root you have to do:
cd /var/tmp
unzip [oracle instalation home]/stage/Componets/oracle/networking/netclt/8.1.5.0.0/1/DataFile/LIB.0.1.jar
unzip [oracle instalation home]/stage/Componets/oracle/rdbms/8.1.5.0.0/1/DataFile/LIB.0.1.jar
cd $ORACLE_HOME/lib
cp /var/tmp/libdsbtsh8.so .
cp /var/tmp/ntcontab.o .
chmod 644 libdsbtsh8.so ntcontab.o
chown oracle.dba libdsbtsh8.so ntcontab.o
the lib you have missed is due to oracle patches rename the bin oracle. When you try to run dbstart, oracle don't exists.
review the LD_LIBRARY_PATH too.

Edited by: IgnitedMind on May 1, 2013 12:06 AMWithout knowing what you have installed or what modifications you have done it is not possible to say what goes wrong. Like I previously mentioned, you may have installed an incompatible version of a core system library. Sorry, I'm not going to read any installation manual to find out what you might have done wrong. You may need to reinstall the complete system or just the popt installation package.
Based on my experience people sometimes seem to misunderstanding the concept of software version requirements, which are always minimum version requirements and does not mean, for instance, software made for gcc 4.1.10 does not work under 4.1.12. You cannot simply upgrade or downgrade core system libraries without affecting the installed system. Using YUM to install software will check this and prevent you from breaking your system. RPM does not check any dependencies and hence can break your system beyond repair. -

I found this error is pretty common, not necessary appear when installing Tuxedo. I am searching around and a lot of people saying to comment out the line
export LD_ASSUME_KERNEL
The problem is I don't know which in which file I need to do it. Has anyone have the encountered the similar problem before? Thanks. After reading the installation script, I figure out which is the evil file. I just post it here so if someone get into this problem in the future, he can fix it.
Here is the solution:
Assume you are at the directory where the install.sh is. Do the following:
-bash-3.1$ cd linux/sles9/base
-bash-3.1$ cp tuxedo91_32_SLES_9_x86.bin tuxedo91_32_SLES_9_x86.bin.bak
-bash-3.1$ cat tuxedo91_32_SLES_9_x86.bin.bak | sed "s/export LD_ASSUME_KERNEL/#xport LD_ASSUME_KERNEL/" >tuxedo91_32_SLES_9_x86.bin

Hi
I copied across an /opt folder from a Redhat 9 server that has Oracle 9.2.0 to a Redhat AS 4. I then set the oracle variables, hoping after that I can get the database up and running. However I get this error, when trying to start the listener or sqlplus:
lsnrctl: error while loading shared libraries: libclntsh.so.9.0: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
Is this library part of a certain RPM? Where can I get this RPM or this lirary?
Thanks.I copied across an /opt folder from a Redhat 9server that has Oracle 9.2.0 to a Redhat AS 4.
So you are saying that you copied the whole
ORACLE_HOME to a new server?? Are you using same
username/group on new server?? Did you relink the
binaries after copying it? What is the output of ls
-l on ORACLE_HOME dir and as what user you are
running lsnrctl command??
Daljit SinghYes I copied the folder that has Oracle_Home and datafiles.
i have created the oracle user.
How do I relink the binaries?
I run it as oracle. -
