Internet on top

I have been through every preferences menu, but when I have Mozilla Firefox open, anything else i bring up, including pulldown menus are all behind the screen.
Any idea how I can return my application screen to its normal position. I hate always on top.

I understand that programs are not opening.
It sounds like your system is thinking that you have two monitors.
Check to see how any cables are connected to the monitor.
You should only have two cables, one for the power and one for the video.

Try closing Game Centre via the iPad's multitasking bar and see if it works when you re-open it :
iOS 7 : double-click the home button to open the taskbar, and then swipe or drag the Game Centre's screen from there up and off the top of the screen to close it, and click the home button to close the taskbar.
iOS 6 and below : from the home screen (i.e. not with Game Centre 'open' on-screen) double-click the home button to bring up the taskbar, then press and hold any of the apps on the taskbar for a couple of seconds or so until they start shaking, then press the '-' in the top left of the Game Centre app to close it, and touch any part of the screen above the taskbar so as to stop the shaking and close the taskbar.
If that doesn't fix it then you could try a soft-reset : press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider), after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the iPad equivalent of a reboot.

Credit not received from internet banking top up

i topped up through my ptsb account online last night at 12am and as of now 8.55pm I still have not received the credit even tho the money left my account straight away I received a text from my bank to say it was being processed and i have waited all day for it to come and I missed my price plan deadline I'm pretty annoyed as I haven't been able to make a call or text all day!!!

The Flashing Orange Power Light Of Doom! [HH3]

I've had no internet service for a week now, on Infinity 2 with HH3.
All lights on the white modem are green, the hub won't even start, just goes to a steady orange, then after about 15 seconds, a continuously flashing orange power light, and stays there. The other lights are dark. Power cycle doesn't work, holding down the reset button doesn't even reset it.
After lengthy "troubleshooting" on the phone with India, I received a replacement HH3 yesterday, plugged it all in and got all blue lights for all of 3 seconds and then - wham - reset to flashing orange light, which now stays there no matter what I do. The issue was escalated to "Tier 1 support" by India yesterday, but heard nothing.
No service problems reported in my area according to the BT website, but India seemed adamant that it was a network issue (after being adamant that it was a faulty hub earlier in the week...).
This is getting very frustrating now, anyone have any idea what could be causing this ??! I really just want an engineer to come out but India wouldn't arrange that.

It should be quite easy to prove by bypassing the hub and connecting the modem to the PC, then setting up a broadband PPPOE connection.
Here's some instructions provided by Rygg
try a direct connection to the modem. This will rule out your homehub and internal wiring as the fault.
1: Remove the homehub from the modem
2: Connect your pc/laptop into the modem using LAN1 port
3: Open network and sharing centre on windows and click set up a new connection or network
4: Connect to the Internet (the top option) then click make a new connection Broadband PPPoE
5: Username [email protected] and the password as anything you want
6: connect, if it cannot connect, just keep pressing try again if this happens and it will eventually connect.

For some reason the dn has been base64 encoded, this is usually because when the entry was added, there was a spurious whitespace or some other non-standard character.
2. You don't create o=internet entries for the mail-hosts themselves e.g. db-prod-01.domain.edu, only for the email domains which people are going to be sending to (i.e. @domain.edu). If you need emails sent to <address>@db-prod-01.domain.edu then there will need to be some changes to your overall structure (potentially rename the mail-host). The mail-host a user resides on and the email address for the user are not related.

I had an appointment for Bt infinity installation for today - and I am pleased to say the engineer turned up.
This would be great except I isn't get my hub delivered!
After spending 30 minutes on hold on the phone I am told no one ever ordered one!

I am trying to send a large file and it takes over 15 hours and still doesnt send the complete file

I am sending a large file over the internet to Graphistudio. When i try and send the file it tells me it is going to take 19 hours. when i have sent these files in the past it has never taken this long. when it does finish sending it doesnt even send all the file and bits are missing.

What method or app are you using to send the "large" file with? Emails, for instance are often limited to 35 or 40 MB's maximum size by the ISP provider. You would need to use an FTP setup to send a larger file. And what is the size of the file in MB's or GB's? You might check out the following free FTP Apps for Mac:

Openreach white modem probs

hi all just got bt infinity in yesterday and its fine,if i leave my pc on it wont loss connection but as soon as i shut pc down then back on later i have to reboot the openreach box to get the internet on,all blue lights are on and all the 3 lights on the openreach box are on but still have to reboot it everytime any one got any ideas please

Sure, I'm new to this too but this is how I got it to connect.

If you don’t get any problems while connected like this it’s likely that your homehub is causing stability issues as I think mine was, my best advice would be to contact the mods about this as they are very good at sorting problems.

Ok. A buch of things not really bad, but bothersome, I would like answered

I have had my Macbook Pro for a good while now. I actually dont remember how long, but not quite a year yet. I am very protective and OCD about my Mac. I try to keep it up to date, and clean. I am also OCD about my disk space. There are just a few things about my investment I would like to have cleared up. They are not very big issues, but I want to make sure they either stay small or I want to get rid of them. Lets start.
My disk drive. It works perfectly...sometimes. I think there might be some sort of internal wire loose or something. If I put a disk in (any disk) it will either; read it and work perefectly, OR do absolutly nothing. If it does nothing It wont show up in the profiler or give my disk back. When I first got my Mac, it started like this, then for a good period it worked. Now its back to old habits.
My screen. My Mac sometimes won't wake up after sleep. I will open the lid and the light will remain on. I read that its something about safe-sleep. But still, I want to be reassured. When the light pulses its in sleep that it will awken out of. However, it doesnt always pulse.
CPU heat. Does the Macbook always get that hot. I understand that when you are doing things that require work, that it heats up. But is it supposed to get near scolding? Even on simple things like the internet, the top of my keyboard is of considerable heat. I was just wondering if this will have long turn effects, 'cause I do FCE which uses much power.
Thats about everything that is erking me. I hope somebody with vast knowledge, or perhaps a group of people will help me on these issues. Thanks,

Are you waiting at least a minute or two for the light to start blinking? What you read was correct. When you first put it to sleep, it takes a bit for the safe sleep to store your RAM contents on the hard drive.

We have default domain set to example.test.edu.pl also entry in LDAP is set to dc=example,dc=test,dc=edu,dc=pl,o=internet. We want all mail send to [email protected] were relay to [email protected] Also all mail send from [email protected] were seen as [email protected] Simple we want example.test.edu.pl to be seen as test.edu.pl.

You can achieve this by adding a domain alias at dn: dc=test,dc=edu,dc=pl,o=internet which points to dc=example,dc=test,dc=edu,dc=pl,o=internet, then changing the "mail: [email protected]" user attribute for all of your users to "mailalternateaddress: [email protected]" and then adding "mail: [email protected]" to those user.
So for example your domain alias entry would look like this:

i have something weird bug on my card. while scrolldown on internet black images top sides turns to green also sometimes in games i got green and purple pixels part of objectives and all pictures on firefox or internet explorer top corner have "shadow effects" when i scrolldown plus when i search something on google all blue links turn to purple when i scrolldown i didint even click them when i stop scrolling they are turns to blue again. this is happend me before 560ti hawk i dont know what should i do ?

you have the same issue with your old card too??
can you test your card in another PC?
have you tried to reinstall OS?
have you tried a different cable for the monitor and/or a different monitor?
