Internet Security Warning on every Send/recieve

Hi Experts,
We are using self-signed certificate for our server and all the accounts are using POP3/TLS as their account setting. As expected whenever we open Outlook 2007, we get the Internet Security Warning, to which we answer YES and it works perfectly fine.
But from last few days, on one of the laptop the warning comes on every send/receive and everytime we try to send an email. I haven't changed anything on that laptop and all the settings are same on all the other laptops.
Any suggestions?
Thanks in advance..

Hi,
Please follow the instructions to remove the warning :
Log in as the administrator. Enter Password and Username when prompted into the corresponding fields in the login screen.
Launch the Start Menu by clicking on the
Start icon located on the bottom left corner of the Home Screen Taskbar.
Launch the Internet Explorer browser
application. To launch Internet Explorer browser, click on the label that reads the same, in the
Start Menu Pop. Alternately, you can launch it by clicking on
Internet Explorer browser the shortcut icon. The explorer browser can also be accessed by clicking on the Internet Explorer icon on the Quick Launch bar.
Select the label that reads Tools from the toolbar. From the submenu that drops down, select the
Internet Options option. This will launch the Internet Properties
window.
Microsoft Outlook 2007
From the internet options Window, select the tab that reads Content.
Select the Clear SSL State button under the label that reads
Use certificates to positively identify yourself, certification, authorities and publishers. You will be prompted with the confirmation box as soon as you hit the Clear SSL State. Hit the OK button to confirm your selection. Next, select the Advanced
Tab. (you will find the  )
The advanced tab will list down all the Setting details of the browser. Hit the option that reads
Reset. Click on the Apply button after you are done with Resetting. Close all the programs and initiate system restart.
Re-launch the Microsoft Outlook application and check whether your system will receive any further error warnings regarding Outlook 2007 Internet Security. The above technique will fix your issues with Internet Security warnings.
In case you still have an issue then I would suggest you to open phone case with Microsoft support to help out in correcting the issue caused .You can create case by calling toll free 1-800-936-4900 or alternately you can also visit

 Hope this helps

  • Internet Security Warning - The Server you are connected to is using security certificate that...

Mail Client on Laptop is Windows Live Mail.  Mail server outgoing.yahoo.verizon.net.  DSL Internet.  Long time Verizon customer.  Client configuration settings correct according to Verizon.  I now get an Interenet Security Warning message whenever I start up the Live Mail Client and send an e-mail.  Only happens on sending e-mails.  The warning message comes back looking for a YES or NO answer.  The message is
"The server you are connected to is using a security certificate that could not be verified."
"A certificate chain processed, but terminated in a root certificate which is not trused by the trust provider."
"Do you want to continue using the server?"      "YES    or   NO"
I click YES in order to successfully send e-mail messages which I do not like to do.  I only have to press YES on the first e-mail message that I send.  The rest outgoing e-mail work correctly after that first one.
What has Verizonn done to cause the problem on my client software?  I have done nothing to change configurations on my Windows 7 and Windos Live Mail laptop.  I have done some research, and verified that my computer time and time zone is correct.  I am looking for an explanation on why this is happening from Verizon.

  • Security Warning for EVERY cap3 simulation

Hello - we have built a course to train a proprietary
software system...the course includes links to Cap3 simulations
that pop up in a separate window. There are nearly 24 separate
simulations and each time a user clicks to access a simulation they
get security warning that pops up first, it has been tested from
home and on the network....and is happening both places. Not sure
    what we are doing wrong?

    Welcome to our community, Vanessa
Have you tested this after sending to your users? Or are you
simply seeing it and thinking all others will too? Further, is this
the large gray Flash security warning? If so, what Kathy advised
    won't apply to you.
Usually we only see the Flash security warning when running
the content locally. Once you place the content on a server, the
warning shouldn't appear any longer. But I'm not sure if or how
that would react when operating from a simple network server setup
where you might see drive letter E or F or I (as opposed to
    HTTP:// something or other)
I've got a tutorial on Flash Settings manager. Assuming the
message is happening for everyone, the process outlined there would
need to be followed for each person experiencing the issue.
    Click
    here to view
As for the Mark of the Web option Kathy mentioned, here is
some code that would work for that. You would need to edit the HTML
page and insert this near the top of the page. Often I see it
    placed on the second line.

  • Flash Player and Internet security warning Prompt

    Hi All,
I have not put a flash player into a website before so i am not sure how exactly to do it correctly.  I have just taken over a project that another individual did and it has a flash player in a sharepoint site.  The problem is that after they put this on the site (which is on the home page) everyone gets the IE securtiy warning box asking if the want to view both secure and non secure items on the page.
I work in an environment such that I have no control over being able to set the security level in IE to mixed Mode, like i said having never done this before I am not sure just how this should have been put on the page but I am pretty sure that this piece of code is the offending part.
    codeBase=http://download.macromedia.com/pub/shockwave/cabs/flash/swflash.cab#version=10,0,0,0
Does it need to get these cab files everytime the webpage is loaded?  here is (I believe) all the code associated with this flash player insertion:
        <td valign="top"><div WebPartID="c77fecd7-e91f-47d5-b47d-2f54f9fce94a" HasPers="false" id="WebPartWPQ5" width="100%" class="ms-WPBody" allowDelete="false" style="" ><OBJECT id=Homepage style="WIDTH: 432px; HEIGHT: 212px" codeBase=http://download.macromedia.com/pub/shockwave/cabs/flash/swflash.cab#version=10,0,0,0 align=middle classid=clsid:d27cdb6e-ae6d-11cf-96b8-444553540000><PARAM NAME="_cx" VALUE="11430"><PARAM NAME="_cy" VALUE="5609"><PARAM NAME="FlashVars" VALUE=""><PARAM NAME="Movie" VALUE="Flash%20Documents/ind_pr.swf"><PARAM NAME="Src" VALUE="Flash%20Documents/ind_pr.swf"><PARAM NAME="WMode" VALUE="Window"><PARAM NAME="Play" VALUE="-1"><PARAM NAME="Loop" VALUE="-1"><PARAM NAME="Quality" VALUE="High"><PARAM NAME="SAlign" VALUE=""><PARAM NAME="Menu" VALUE="-1"><PARAM NAME="Base" VALUE="./"><PARAM NAME="AllowScriptAccess" VALUE="sameDomain"><PARAM NAME="Scale" VALUE="ShowAll"><PARAM NAME="DeviceFont" VALUE="0"><PARAM NAME="EmbedMovie" VALUE="0"><PARAM NAME="BGColor" VALUE="000000"><PARAM NAME="SWRemote" VALUE=""><PARAM NAME="MovieData" VALUE=""><PARAM NAME="SeamlessTabbing" VALUE="1"><PARAM NAME="Profile" VALUE="0"><PARAM NAME="ProfileAddress" VALUE=""><PARAM NAME="ProfilePort" VALUE="0"><PARAM NAME="AllowNetworking" VALUE="all"><PARAM NAME="AllowFullScreen" VALUE="false">

    </OBJECT></div></td>
So also not sure about the line just above that looks like it is also linking to get the flashplayer each time? is that necessary?
any adivice would be great in fixing this problem,

  • Security warning 'access more than one site..' - URGENT HELP

    Hi All
    (USING: Reader 707 + Reader extension 702 or Acrobat 707 )
I am having big trouble with this Acrobat/reader security warning:
    Security Warning
'This document as accessed more than one site and might be trying to share data among different locations. This could be a privacy concern. Are you sure you want to continue?'
I know it is more an acrobat/Reader issue than designer, but hope that one outthere has ideas.
    Problem:
We have 4 servers sharing the load for a webservice. I have coded webservice connection in javascript in Designer 7.1 using SOAP.
The webservice look up data, but i recieve the security warning each time I perform the look up. I have added all sites to Trust Manager, so that is not the problem!
I think the very problem is that Acrobat/Reader request to a DNS alias, but later recieve response from ONE of the specific servers!
    Acrobat/Reader request webService on:
    http://ck/web/services/FormularWebservice?wsdl;
Acrobat/Reader recieve answer from (for example: da1650 - one of the 4 servers)
    http://da1650:9081/web/services/FormularWebservice?wsdl;
So Acrobat/Reader shows the security warning because it suddenly recieve a response from a server that is does not know it has requested against - This is what I think happens!
Have anyone experinced a similiar situation? any ideas? All comments/ideas/solutions are appreciated. As the warning is very anoying to the user I cannot launch my LC forms so I need a solution...

  • Kaspersky internet security 2013 help

hello!! I have Toshiba Satellite S45 ASP 4203SL, windows 8, I formatted the laptod due a virus, nevertheless, did not work, i dod not can to install kaspersky internet security 2013 . I send the laptot to a technical assistan center, supposedly, they had repaired the laptop, neverthless, the compatibility issue, persist. Thank. sorry for the grammar.

    Hi Zecarlos
You have probably destroyed your Toshiba Recovery Partition, when you reformatted your hard drive. If you never created your Toshiba Recovery Media, as per the instructions starting on page 60 of your User's Guide, then you should order the Recovery Media from Toshiba.
I think you may be more comfortable working in Spanish, so go to:
    http://latin.toshiba.com/
Then click on the 'SOPORTE' link near the top right of the page, next click on the 'REPARACION Y PIEZAS' link on the right side of the page, scroll down to 'Obtener medios de recuperacion' section and follow the instructions there. After you obtain the Recovery Media, follow the directions on page 63 of your User's Guide to return your unit to its factory default out-of-the-box steup.
Let us know how it turns out. Good luck.

  • Prevent the Internet Security Suite from scanning after every reboot

My Verizon Internet Security Suite is evidently set to scan everything after every reboot of the computer.  My computer is rather slow anyway.  But that ties up all the resources for about 15 minutes whenever I reboot the computer.  It keeps tabs on things in real time.  It's not necessary to scan after every reboot.  Can I turn that setting OFF?

Hi Hermhart, Yes there should be an option to set that to off. try this link to see if this helps & let us know thanks Brett.

  • Internet Explorer Security Warning Message

Hi am using pure html and am sure not using any active
    components in my page.
When i preview in Internet Explorer, though it shows the
page, but in the top it gives a security warning:
To help protect your security, Internet Explorer has
restricted this file from showing active content that could access
your computer. Click here for options.
Someone said the the java script tag is giving the warning,
but even after removing that tag, am getting that warning message
The same page, doesn't give any error or warning when
    previewd in Firefox!
Can someone point me where am going wrong in the html code i

    Thanks in advance.

    Hi,
My immediate reaction is don't panic! If you are testing your
own page from your own local server then there is nothing to worry
about. The whole issue of Active X controls is another sore point
when having to deal with Microsoft's handling of interactive
    content.
Triggering of the warning can be caused by various things
other than the obvious contact with dynamic content. Here is an old
thread from a discussion on why Active X warning appear on your own
    pages.

Googling will find more evidence for you to trace. Your code
looks fine to me and is not a threat to your system if it came off
    of your own local server.
Active X is a pain in the butt.

  • Why does AVG Internet Security keep warning me that Firefox is using excessive memory and advisin me to close it and reopen?

My browser was open and I was on Facebook. A message appeared from AVG Internet Security 2012, which is operating on my computer, telling me that FireFox was using excessive memory -- "260 MB of memory" and suggesting I close FireFox and reopen.
This has happened several times; also when I was on CNN and Yahoo webpages.

How much RAM do you have?
300MB is a lot if you only have 512MB, but not too much if you have 1 or 2 GB, or more.

  • Help Needed for Internet Security Driving Test!

Hi I came up with a few basic rules for family and friends
that I put together in order to try to prevent them from
continually installing spyware, toolbars, keyloggers and viruses on
their computers (and as a result, to try to prevent them from
continually calling me and asking for my help and advice when they
did this and things went wrong).
To all intents and purposes the rules worked well - for a
while. I set it up as a simple RTF document and I added this to the
start up folder of Windows XP, so that it started every time the PC
started. However, over time some of them simply learned to ignore
the rules and to close the RTF document as soon as it opened
without paying any attention to it at all - and then they went
about their merry business of installing spyware, keyloggers and
viruses etc. just as they had in the past.
So OK, I have to admit I found this deeply frustrating - but
I also realise that this is the same position that many of us geeks
are in in that on the whole, most average everyday computer users
don't have a clue about Internet security.
Now however things have become a lot more serious for me, as
I have been asked by a local charity to administer a total of 60
machines over 2 different sites - and I have also been asked if I
could provide some form of training with regard to basic personal
    Internet security.
With this in mind I came up with the idea of an interactive
CDROM, or Flash based Internet security driving test/tutorial that
basically covers all of the scenarios I touch on in my rules.
This tutorial would cover basic things like, if you got an
email from a representative ex President of an African country
offering you a share in millions of dollars of stolen money, or if
you got an email from your bank asking you to verify your security
details and so on, what would you do? Additionally it would cover
such things as the abundance of viruses that infest many of the
porn sites on the net, the way that many games on the Internet that
are listed as being 'free' (particularly those which are in
executable file format) are often just vehicles for more spyware
and viruses also - and about the dangers of chat lines, of spoof
security warnings on web sites and so on.
I have included my list of rules below which should hopefully
give you an idea of what I'm trying to do. Be warned though, the
wording is deliberately harsh and perhaps a little extreme (and as
a result maybe not entirely 100% accurate) but you must realize
that I am, or was trying to give myself the easiest time possible
and the least possible problems. So you may well find things you
disagree with in it - but overall if someone followed these rules,
they probably would be less likely to run into problems than
someone who did not follow them might.
The thing is however that (as I said) I would like to
formalise these rules somewhat in the format of some kind of
interactive tutorial/web security driving test. Unfortunately I
have no experience with flash - and little knowledge of HTML or
anything like that. I also know that the language for these rules
isn't quite right, in that it probably isn't suitable for a formal
    office type environment.
I had in mind that the tutorial would show some realtime
examples of some of the things I have been talking about (which I
assume would only be possible in Flash?) or perhaps rather like a
readers digest multiple choice type thing, with screenshots
depicting the various scenarios in question. (Like a screenshot of
a flash animation on a web page saying 'You have won a prize!!!'
What would you do? a) click on the ad, b, ignore it, or c) phone
all of your family and friends informing them of your good fortune
    before doing anything.' etc.
So I was wondering, are there any good hearted charitable
souls out there who might be willing to help out to put a tutorial
    like this together?
Again I remind you that it really is for a charity
(specifically the Depaul Trust in the UK, which helps young
vulnerable people find secure accommodation, provides educational
opportunities and helps them to find employment). The requirement
would be that all staff and students pass the Internet security
test before being granted Internet access.
I know this might be time consuming - but again all I can do
is appeal to the sense of kindness and helpfulness of this
community and hope that someone who does have some experience in
these maters might be willing to help.
Alternatively could anyone suggest a simple easy to use
software package that would allow a relative n00b like me to put
together a tutorial like this on my own? Or perhaps it is possible
that some free online tutorial like this already exists?
In any case, any help at all would be appreciated.
    PS,
Here are the rules I have that I referred to above.
    http://download305.mediafire.com/b6ndmljht1bg/29bbnnbz2uz/internet+rules.rtf

Dennis, when I look at the subject three clips (EI 1250, EI 640, and EI 320, respectively, and in that order) as presented in the camera, I see exactly what I have expected all along -- three different-brightness images that are progressively brighter from the EI 1250 exposure to the EI 320 exposure.   So, am mystified why when I open these images (clips), say, in RAW Viewer, wherein I have thought that I would see the same progressive brightness differences allowing me to experiment with reducing brightness to deal with noise reduction, all three of the images present completely alike in brightness.

  • Security warning when searching

    33.1.1, XP, SP3
Since upgrading to 33.1.1 every time I do a Google search from my BT Home Page I get the following security warning:
"Although this page is encrypted, the information you have entered is to be sent over an unencrypted connection and could easily be read by a third party.
"Are you sure you want to continue sending this information?"
I am aware that Google search in Firefox's default page is encrypted and I also know that if I use Google search in the address bar of my BT Home Page there is no warning (presumably because I'm still effectively using Firefox).
As stated this has only started happening since the upgrade to 31.1.1 - is this a new addition?
It is much more convenient to use the large search box on my BT page as the cursor is placed there by default.
Obviously I don't want to people to track my searches although I have been using non-encrypted http for years. However, is there any way I can set my BT search panel to https or to tell Firefox that https should be used on that page? Probably not.
As a last resort, is there any way I can turn off this annoying warning?

Unless you actually use the Shockwave (director) player for some certain games or interactive learning things, you may not likely need it compared to the Flash Player anyways. So you might as well uninstall it versus having to keep it updated.

  • How do I avoid the recipient of my Indesign PDF receiving a security warning when clicking on links?

I create PDF's out of Indesign to send to new clients. They contain links to external websites. They do not contain any javascript or videos or hidden links. If the PDF is opened in Adobe Reader, when the recipient clicks on a hyperlink in my PDF they get a security warning asking if they trust the site. How can I avoid the recipient receiving this Security Warning as it would scare people into thinking I had sent them something malicious when I haven't?

You cannot avoid it, that's part of the PDF security system to make the user aware that he is entering non-trusted area, as it is with every web page when it is opened the first time in Reader or Acrobat on this computer. ThatÄs an unchageable fact. You have to live with it.
