Internet timeouts via browser, but stable everywhere else

I've been having this peculiar yet incredibly frustrating issue with my computer, and it's been happening since I first purchased it in August.
In a nutshell, my emails/skypes/pings&tracerouts all go through without a flaw. When I run a speed test my speeds sit nicely at 40mb/s down and 5mb/s up.
But when I try to browse web pages using Chrome/Firefox/Safari the connection hangs, pages fail to load and load slowly. It happens intermittently, but frequent enough to make every-day tasks nearly impossible to do.
I called Apple support and the technician was unsure. But when researching this issue online it seems fairly common. Unfortunately I have yet to find an answer that works for me.
Important facts to know:
The internet connection is stable on all of my other house-hold computers including my phone. Which is why I know that this is not an issue with my ISP.
I have tried changing my DNS settings to Google's public DNS... alas no change.
I bought this computer only a few months ago. It's a 2.2 GHz Macbook Pro with OS X version 10.7.2
This issue happens wired and wireless.
I was thinking that it may be a firewall issue, but I've tried turning off the firewall and there was no change.

Click event not working in Firefox but works everywhere else

I have a bindElementAction of 'click' which fires in every browser but Firefox. I have no idea why that is. Any ideas? Here is the event:

MacBook Air wi-fi doesn't work at home but does everywhere else?

Hello everyone, out of the blue recently my mid-2012 Macbook air started having wifi issues at home. Everywhere I go except my house the wifi works excellently. This would lead one to believe my home wifi is at fault, however all of my family's devices (ipad, iphones, pc, etc) connect to and use the wifi just fine throughout the house.
Even more strange is the fact that when I am in close proximity to the router (in the basement) the wifi works and is fast. It also works in my kitchen, but strangely does not in the living room 10 feet to the left or in my room upstairs. If it does rarely work in those areas, it is extremely slow and does not take long before it doesn't work at all. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Just a side note, I updated to OSX mavericks hoping this would solve the issue but it did not.

In an area where your WiFi is not working, try System Preferences > Network > Assist Me > Diagnostics

Flash player not working on ADOBE SITE (tutorials) but does everywhere else!

i have installed the latest version and i keep getting messages saying that i need to install the latest version. Nuts! what's up? i do have 'clicktoflash' installed which prevents ANY flash content running until i click on the content. it works fine everywhere but on the ADOBE site tutorials. How stupid is that!

my application on weblogic server 5.1.0 sp-10. when i used console it gives only
count of users connected via
console. I need it without starting console. I tried
http://localhost:7001/AdminMain?refreshSecs=60 but this also works same as console.
I also tried using weblogic api in jsp like below but output is 0;

IPhone can't connect to internet on my home WiFi, works everywhere else

For a while I would get the "unable to join network" error, but renewing the lease or resetting the router would usually fix it. Now I can sign onto the WiFi, but I get page load errors and timing out on everything until I turn WiFi off on the phone. I have tried resetting network settings, manually inputing my phones Mac address into the router, changing the security mode on the router, resetting the WiFi settings on the router, still, no internet for iPhone.
Other Android phones, an iPad, Apple TV, Laptops and Desktops have all been able to access the internet through WiFi as well. My iPhone has no trouble using the internet on other WiFi networks. Have I somehow black listed myself in my router settings? Or have I somehow blocked the internet in the phone settings for just this network?

I looked into that and couldnt' figure out how. I've just now completely disabled "managed devices" and "managed services" under parental controls and that seems to have made it work. My room mate was having trouble with his laptop as well. I'm the only person who ever logged into the router's admin panel and I never added any devices to any parental control that I know of. I just looked at the log and noticed it had some blocked packets, the IP matched the one assigned to my phone, so somehow I got parental blocked :-/

IPod Classic not working in car but works everywhere else. Troubleshooting?

My iPod is not working with my Infiniti iPod jack but all other iPods work fine with the in-car system. My iPod synchs fine to my Mac and to an external stereo player through the connector on the bottom of the unit. So it looks like both units work fine with any iPod, but only my iPod will not work with the car while it does work with other connections. How can I troubleshoot this? Thanks for any help.
BTW, the Infniti is a 2008 G37 and the dealer just put a brand new unit in it and the same thing happened. The iPod is a 2008 80GB Classic.

I am trying to trouble shoot a problem. I am a beginner when it comes to the technical end of this so please forgive me if I don’t post the correct information. Hopefully somebody here can help or point me in the right direction.
My problem is this: I’m using Skype on my (windows 7 ultimate) pc to make group video calls. I use Skype along with the program Evaer in order to record the video and audio of each person on the call separately. It records it using the H.264/MPEG-4 AVC Codec. At 1280 X 720 and 30fps. The video files have the audio in them as well. However it also records a separate .mp3 with everyones audio at 265 BitRate and 48000 SampleRate. So after the group call (with 3 people) is finished I will have three .mp4 video files w/ audio (1 for each person on the call) and 1 .mp3 file. If I open any of the video files in Windows Media Play they play just fine. But when I bring the file into Adobe Premiere CS6 for editing, the audio is completely off. What can I do to fix this?
I did “interperate footage” for the file and this is what it shows:

I want to edit this in HD. So the project setting I choose is “HDV 720p30fps”. I import my file, and then drag it into to the time line. It says that the sequence settings are wrong, and so I tell it to change them automatically (I have also to it to leave them) either way it doesn’t matter. When I play back the video .mp4 in Premiere CS6 the audio is completely off.
So is there some setting I need to tweak? Is it the project settings that are wrong? Or could it be a problem with my graphics, and sound card? I just dont understand why it plays fine in WMP but not in Adobe. Any help or advice would be truly appreciated. If you need any more info, just let me know.

If you lose sounds for keyboard clicks, games or other apps, email notifications and other notifications, system sounds may have been muted.
System sounds can be muted and controlled two different ways. The screen lock rotation can be controlled in the same manner as well.
Settings>General>Use Side Switch to: Mute System sounds. If this option is selected, the switch on the side of the iPad above the volume rocker will mute system sounds.
If you choose Lock Screen Rotation, then the switch locks the screen. If the screen is locked, you will see a lock icon in the upper right corner next to the battery indicator gauge.
If you have the side switch set to lock screen rotation then the system sound control is in the task bar. Double tap the home button and in the task bar at the bottom, swipe all the way to the right. The speaker icon is all the way to the left. Tap on it and system sounds will return.
If you have the side switch set to mute system sounds, then the screen lock rotation can be accessed via the task bar in the same manner as described above.

For some reason, when I attempt to update the apps on my iPhone 5, the password is rejected. I went to the apple website and reset my password. Everything looks find on the website. I then attempt to update the apps again from my iPhone and the password is rejected again. I then tried to update the apps using iTunes, and the password was still rejected... What gives? Any ideas?

TS3276 Connect to internet via browser over Airport Express, but Mail app can't connect to internet

Hi - I just moved to a new apartment, and I have an Airport Express that is allowing me to connect to the internet through a browser, but Mail keeps telling me that it can't connect to the internet. I'm guessing it has something to do with the network settings for my Airport Express? Not sure what the right configuration should be. Thanks!

In Mail, from the Window menu select Connection Doctor - any feedback there? Within the window click on Network Diagnostics to see if it offers any clues.
