Internet toolkit problem - growing Active Connections list
When I built executables with G Web Server, sometimes, the list of active connections start to grow and whole system seems to stop responding for CGI calls.
Does anybody know what could be the reason.

OK, I found it. The main part of top vi must be enclosed in a "while loop" as it is done in all Internet Toolkit examples. Then the problem is gone. I guess it is connected with the way how G web server talkes to the "CGI read request.vi".

Problems With MacBook Connecting to the Internet
This is quite an annoying little problem that I have. And apparently Tech Support can't help me and just said "good luck" and hung up on me. So here we go:
I purchased a new MacBook about two weeks ago and it won't connect to my wireless at home. I can plug it into our cable box via an ethernet cable, but otherwise it refuses to work. My old laptop will connect to the wireless... and even my sister's new MacBook (we got them at the exact same time and they are the exact same thing) will connect to our wireless. I'm using a Linksys wireless router, and I have had other friends access my family's wireless through their Apple computers as well. My Airport reads that I'm connected to the router, but it can't find an Internet signal. I'm not really sure what route I should be taking now. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

macbook Mac OS X (10.4.10)I seem to be having the same exact issue. I took my Macbook over to my dad's house and I can not connect to the internet. The computer is connected to the router wirelessly, everything seems fine but it will not connect to the internet. My sister has the same exact Macbook, and her computer connects to the internet just fine. I run the Apple Internet Diagnostics and after running it, I get a message that says that my internet seems to be working fine. I also have a problem with my computer restarting when I shut the lid. Very very frustrating!

If you are the only user on your computer you probably don't have multiple user accounts set up and can disregard that. If you are using iTunes 11 go to View>Show Sidebar. Now see if your iPad appears under Devices on the left side when you connect it. If it does, click on the name of your iPad on the left side and your iTunes sync settings options will appear in folders with tabbed headings to the right.

I have problem with my ipad , when i want to update ios 6 to 6.0.1 this message appear " unable to verify update , ios 6.0.1 faild verification because you are no longer connected to the internet" but my ipad is connected . Plz help me .
Not very helpful but I have the same issue. Plugging in and doing the update via. iTunes will probably work but I find that whole experience annoying (downloading apps not on the Mac, etc..)

I have a BTHub4 - My iMac, iPhone, and children's iPads all connect to the internet no problem. I cannot get my 2 MacBook Pros or my partners MacBook Air to connect. Have tried diagnostics - says to change DNS but it is correct. I have re-set both router and all laptops - no joy. They can all see the network but cannot connect.
This is extraordinary. I have moved the router and also tried resetting it to its factory strings. We have had this router for over a year and all our devices have always worked. Now all four laptops will not connect to the internet. Only one oMac and our phones and iPad.
I have had far more devices running at once before but now all laptops are timing out on connection. Some say this iIP address is already being used but if I manually set to a slightly different IP address it does not help, noir if I manually set to the correct IP address. Why would all our laptops (four) suddenly be unable to connect? -
Actually I want to restore my iphone from my mac but I can't because it says "go to icloud settings on your iphone and turn off find my iphone before restore your iphone". Then, I go to icloud.com and erase find my iphone. But I still can't restore my iphone because it says pending to erase your iphone until your iphone connected to the internet. My iphone already connected to the internet and it still says pending. Please help me to fix this problem because I need to restore my iphone.

Force your iPhone into recovery-mode and then you can use iTunes to restore it.

This forum is for CAN questions. I would strongly urge you to repost your question to the LabVIEW General category and this is a LabVIEW question.
Also, does the FTP Browser shipping example that comes with the Internet Toolkit work? If it does, then I would suggest studying that example. If it does not, then I would suggest reposting your question and giving much more detail about which VI is giving you the error and a general overview of the program.

Database connectivity toolkit problem with WINDOWS VISTA and Microsoft jet 4.0 provider

I'm experiencing a problem with Database connectivity toolkit and Microsoft Jet 4.0 provider (MS ACCESS mdb database).
I was able to get my application to work properly on my PC: WINDOWS XP PROFESSIONAL, VERSION 2002, SERVICE PACK 3 and Msjet40.dll ver. 4.0.9511.0 (Windows XP SP3 and Security Bullettin MS08-028).
The same connectivity toolkit seems to have problems (although I didn't get any error dialog) on a laptop with WINDOWS VISTA ULTIMATE, SERVICE PACK 2 and Msjet40.dll ver. 4.0.9755.0.
Does anyone have an idea whether it is a sort of compatibility issue or a different thing?
Would it be possible to include my DLLs into the installer in such a way LabVIEW application calls those DLLs instead of the ones it finds on the host PC?

Endnd up dumping access and used sql server express, its free, and all my code worked fine, just used a different UDL to connect. I wasted lots of time trying to find a way of getting the jet4.0 to work with 64bit windows.

I'm starting two use the internet toolkit 5.0. But when i open the examples and use one to send an e-mail, occurs a problem and the vi sends the mail but not the message.
Can anyone help me with this?

I recently bought a new iPhone 4S in Singapore and found out that I cannot connect the iPhone to the internet over my mobile 3G connection.
The telephone function is working fine as well as wifi; just connecting to the internet through my simcard is not possible.
I hav another existing iPhone 4S, and in this iPhone the mobile internet connection 3G is working perfectly!
I discoverd 1 difference between the two iPhones:
On the new iPhone if I look at
Settings / General / About / Carrier : the text "Orange UK 13.0" is displayed
On my existing it says: "T-Mobile Nl 13.1Sorry, but I think you were ripped off. There is no way a "new" iphone came out of the box provisioned for a carrier in a completely foreign network and country. And Orange phones are sold locked to Orange, so if it is working with your T-Mobile SIM, it has to have been hacked. That would be like me here buying a new iPhone and discoverying it was showing some carrier in Austrlia - just completely beyond reasonable explanation.
If you try and restore, I'd bet money it relocks to Orange and won't accept your SIM at all.
You can try wiping out all network settings and setting things up fresh (maybe do that with the SIM out, then see if it reads the settings correctly from the SIM).

No internet connection while actively connected to LAN via ethernet
I am having trouble connecting to the internet while working in my office at school via the Universities LAN. Everything worked fine last friday when I left for the weekend and then monday morning it would not connect. Over the weekend I updated the firmware with the MacBook EFI Firmware Update 1.2. Im not sure if this update may have reconfigured my network settings. I have an older PowerBook that still connects fine to the universities network. The strange thing is that when I plug in the ethernet cable and go into network diagnostics it shows that I am connected to the network via ethernet. If I run through the diagnostics for ethernet connections the network status is fine for the ethernet, network setting, and isp, but the internet and server fail citing no connection. I cannot connect to the internet via firefox or safari, but I can use Yahoo Instant messenger fine. If I can use the messenger why can't I connect to the internet? When I first connect my computer to the ethernet cable after a restart the internet works for maybe a minute then says cannot find network. I have done some searching around and think this may be an IP address issue, but have no clue how to remedy the situation. I have contacted our IT people and being a PC university no one can help me with a mac.

If you run Applications -> Utilities -> Network Utility -> Lookup
can you lookup any network names and get their IP address?
I'm wondering if you have valid DNS servers. -
Problem with Hibernate Connection and MySQL
I have the following setup:
J2EE web-application, Java Servlets, Jsp, Hibernate for DB persistence, MySQL 4 (InnoDB tables)
I have not specified any connection pool parameters (c3p0) in my hibernate.cfg.xml, as the default settings should suffice for my purposes.
I use the SessionFactory object as follows.
In my database access class, I have a static declaration that initialises the new SessionFactory.
Then, I use Session session = sessionFactory.getSession(); and session.close(); to do my DB access.
Likewise, when storing data into the DB, I use a Transaction object, and use transaction.commit(); at the end of database access.
The problem is:
When I store data into the database, the changes do not occur on the website. In other words, the data gets stored into the tables (I check that via phpMyAdmin) but when accessing it, it only gets the old data. This is a serious problem as I am developing a website with attached CMS that will be used to update the pages.
The OTHER problem is:
Instead of having a static initialisation of the SessionFactory object, I created a new one every time I needed to access the database. Although I had a sessionFactory.close(); statement at the end of the database acccess, I got an exception:
"java.sql.SQLException: User db_user already has more than 'max_user_connections' active connections"
At the very moment I don't have access to my code.
If somebody has a suggestion or a solution to the problem, please reply.
Also, I will supply any code that is necessary to identify the problem.
